There is nothing telling you were to stand to checkout we were in line lady had a bunch of stuff one lady had one item so we moved forward cashier told us to go get in line we told her we were in line we just moved forward...all crap broke loose telling us we were rude... cashier told us she didn't have time for us smartly..I took all my clothes and sit them down and walked out i want be back in there

It will not surprise me if y'all go out of business.. customer service is pitiful. I'm literally standing in line for 25 minutes waiting for 1 person to check out 😭. With 2 cashiers watching 1register..y'all have got to do better..

I visited the jewelry counter at this location on 8/30 and had to ask for assistance, immediately I could tell that the employee, Rose was bothered by me. I explained that I was simply inquiring about jewelry repair on a ring purchased there. Immediately she begins to ask me where is your paperwork, you know you have to have our care plan. I explained that I understand that if I don't have said plan I would pay out of pocket. Her tone and demeanor was very unfriendly. She then tells me she will have to get a manager but she does not have one available. I finally said, "nevermind Rose". I walked out down the way to Kay and was assisted immediately and will do business there from here out. This JCP continues to go down hill.

Now I walked in this store it was like a ghost town I couldn't find any workers there until I left they all were in sophara spot. so u own ya own shopping lol. They asked me if I needed help going out the door.

I ordered blue jeans online. Turns out they didn’t work out so I went to the store to return them. I had taken the tags off when I tried them on but I kept the tags.
When I went to the store to return them with my receipt and the tags the gal told me they couldn’t take them back because the tags were removed ( but they were in the pocket). I asked to talk to the manager.
When the manager arrived I recognized her (don’t recall her name) and asked if she remembered ordering these for me last week. She didn’t remember me, but I said I’m pretty sure you are the lady who ordered these for me.
She said “ Well we all look alike”. ( she is black)
I was very shocked by this comment from her and not how to respond, so I said nothing. Was she trying to start something with me?
I accepted my refund and left. I will never return to this store.

Grabbed some socks for my son and me and the salon did the a great job on the wife's hair. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Just not fond of how the cashier's are being forced to push credit card offers.

As I approached the counter in the men's section by the entrance I saw the worker standing in the fitting room I guess that's what that was, on her phone, she finally came to assist me but didn't say ANYTHING to me, just walked up, took my receipt, didn't ask if I wanted to exchange it or return it, she just refunded my money and proceeded to greet the next customer. She didn't say a word to me, guess I didn't look a certain way to be talked to. :-( I've never experienced this type of customer service at JCPENNEY.

JCPenny's is located in the Wiregrass Commons Mall in Dothan, Alabama. You can find amazing deals on all your favorite fashion trends. They have a great selection of jewelry. In the clothing department they could be a tittle better for the tween girls is hard to find things that are age appropriate that fit. They have all kinds of shoes to choose from. You can also shop for all your home needs. From bedding to kitchen towels they will not let you down. They carry all your favorite brands like Sports Illustrated, Levi’s, Dockers, and Skechers, Mutual Weave, St. John's Bay. They do have a large assortment of girls' dresses and capris, and boys' shorts and graphic ts and some stylish swimwear and summer accessories for the whole family.

I took my patient to JC Penney about 3 weeks ago because he was looking for bedroom slippers and a wallet. While he was looking for what he came for, I decided to go to the jewelry counter. I couldn't be more horrified when I noticed how dirty the inside glass were, and the jewelry boxes were peeling and cracked. There were even dust throughout the jewelry case. It was sickening. I left after seeing that.

This JC Penny store is easily accessible. It has a great and varied selection of good quality clothing and other apparel. The staff is very helpful and professional. The store is well-maintained and the prices are reasonable.

Friendly staff but they need to stock their shelves for better selection of clothing. Needs cleaner shoe department with better selection. Get rid of Sephora makeup area. The store was much better in the past.

I do not have a JCP in my city so I order online for my three grandchildren, my husband, and myself. When I go to Dothan, I do my returns. The assciates are so kind and helpful. Then we shop in the store. Everything is so orderly. I love my JCP.

Shop here if you like being asked to sign up for a credit card every time you check out. They don’t take no for an answer either, they will continue to tell you benefits long after you say NO. If I wanted a credit card I’d get on from my bank…..I feel so bad for the workers because I know they make them harass customers….

I went here today to pickup an online order. An item was missing from the order. 4 out of 5 items delivered & ready for pickup 2/8 & 5th item delivered to dock 2/9/22. Order shows delivered to store but it's still not ready for pickup an entire day later. At this point I'm assuming it was taken by staff rather than checked in for pickup. Staff was not helpful in looking up order nor did they try to assist with any update. The order was suppose to be ready for pickup on 2/9/22. I'll never shop at this JCPenny again online or in the store. This was my first experience with them in Alabama & it's not a good one. I'll be going tomorrow for a refund.

I've made my purchases online and have used the new curbside pickup. During the holidays, some items were probably stuck on cargo ships, which meant they were delayed.
Shaquala personally called me about the order and kept me updated throughout! On another occasion, my order got cancelled before it should have. Shaquala, and another wonderful associate worked hard to help get the order replaced and at the price I paid! These associates have exhibited excellent customer service! I will continue to use curbside pickup because of the associates genuine care.

I got great personal service from the manager in the jewelry department. She called the main office for thew credit accounts to get my account corrected. Because of some communication problems she had to call back and make sure my account was fixed correctly. I very much appreciate her tenacity to make my account was right so I could make payments and have them applied to the corrected balance.
