Dollar General

This Dollar general is near rural King and it must have been here for a very long time because it feels very run down and the door scraped and squeaks. It's a large store but when I went there were carts and buggies everywhere making it hard to get around the store and every item that I was looking for was out of stock which is very unusual for a Dollar general.

The parking lot was also pretty dirty, I don't think the staff is responsible for cleaning the parking lot, but there was broken bottles in it which were glass so that's just a little concerning.

However, I would like to say that the staff was very friendly here and their best to help me.

Found what I needed... But when I got to the register now that's a different story. One worker, slowly scanning things because she was on her cell phone w/ her baby daddy. Minutes after I got to register, there were 7 ppl behind me. One customer in front of me even said something to her bc he stood there at least 10 min before getting his things and leaving. Maybe the DG needs to put in a no phone policy for cashiers!!!

The stores are very dirty and unkempt. I also do not like the attitudes of the employees, but that very's greatly depending on which location I go to. The only Dollar General that I prefer is the location in Headland. Everyone working at that particular store is very very nice. The one location in Abbyville is also a very pleasant store to visit but for the most part, that's just about my limit.

The store in Webb Al. rarely has what u need. There are 2 cashiers inpaticular that have GREAT customer service skills. One inpaticular cashier should NOT even have a job working with customers because her peopls skills stinks. There are 5 or 6 employees that work there. Three are great and one stinks the others I haven't had many interactions with as a PAYING customer.

This is the slowest store in America and they never stock the shelves I mean ever my 85 year old grandma can out work anybody in there in a wheel chair they go to work just to get a free check don't nobody work

I have been going to this current Dollar general over half of my adult life and they always have things stocked neatly and in their proper places. Plus they are very friendly.

Every time i go in this store its a mess dirty floors iles crowed with boxes and items on the floor in the walk way its NEVER stocked with the most important things such as women personal products tissue or soap i waste my time & gas every time i forget NOT to go to that location on reeves street in dothan go over the bridge to the other dollar general THIS IS THE WORST ONE IN DOTHAN dont go there its a waste of time & very frustrating other ppl complained tonight too on items they needed this location will not be open much longer for sure

Shelves are always empty, stock carts always blocking aisles. Rarely any employees to be found except for ONE cashier, and even if there are others, they dang sure ain't stocking the shelves.
