Dollar General

I've been going to dollar general for years. Convenient location, good prices. A little disorganized at times. Constantly hiring new people. Still comes in handy when you just need a few things.

This store is very poorly stocked actually not much of anything on the shelves. If you buy wine they will card you every time, even though the law states if you look under 30 you need to be carded. I haven't looked under 30 in over 30 years. The turn over is high as every time I go in this store I never see the same staff.

Nothing on the shelves, stock carts and boxes in the aisle. I live within a mile and hate going there if it's open. 6/15: checked out with the cashier with an ear phone cussing up a storm. He knew "God damn" well according to him. Never acknowledged me.

New location on South Oates in the best Dollar General in town. Very clean and organized

A couple years later I need to say this Dollar General has gone down hill. It is not stocked very well so it doesn’t have everything another Dollar General would have. I also I went in there and when I went to check out the girl at the counter was on her cell phone the whole time. This will be my last choice to go for small things again.

This Dollar General Store on Hwy 84 west in Dothan,Al at Bay Springs Rd. Is one of the most well stocked and Most cleanest stores in the State of Alabama or possibly the entire Chain of Stores in the Dollar General Chain. The entire staff at this store are all very courteous and friendly. They all seemed to be very knowledgeable of where items were located in the store. Also they most all seemed to know if a particular item that you might be looking for was available in the store or not. I highly recommend shopping at this store. This is the only store in the Dollar General Chain that I felt deserved 5 stars. Congratulations for a job well done.

I have found that dollar general in a whole( some stores not included) don't care about stocking shelves... I wonder if they truly want to make sales... certainly the franchise holder doesn't know...

The cashier/manager Kayla is very rude and disrespectful. If you do not like your job find a new one that makes you happy and not miserable.

Perfect. This is the best Dollar General I have ever been in. It's clean and uncluttered. You have plenty of room to go down the aisles with the shopping cart. I Love it!!!!

CHECK EXPIRATION DATES ON ALL FOOD YOU BUY BEFORE BUYING! The employees don’t check, bought cheese that expired in may (it’s august now) and lunchable expired in June. Hire new employees.

Had what I needed. Bathroom s was really nasty and needed cleaning pretty bad. Floors had paper everywhere on them where they have not been cleaned.

Its a pretty clean and generally non-crowded store. There's a cashier that is awesome and makes his own masks- which are FABULOUS! Like, go there and see his design. They really should make more like them for people who have to work in the public for long hours. He's also just a cool guy.
Don't you love going to cool cashiers? Man, I love that 🙂
