Topic: It can be Doordash even when ordering from Pizza Hut directly.
Why on this planet Earth if I order through the website, would it be delivered by a Door dash driver, which is fine, until they said they didn't get the tip. I don't know how that works (added to their offer?), but I tipped extra. For dried out "tavern" pizza. That was actually pretty bad. And I've loved Pizza Hut since day one. So I'll only do pick up, and it's typically the best when the little short sweet lady with glasses is there or the taller lady if she's still there, she was sweet too.

Absolutely the worst pizza I’ve ever had from a Pizza Hut! Medium thin crust pepperoni so overcooked that it was inedible, and a pepperoni melt that was also overcooked but I was able to tear it apart and eat some of the middle to at least salvage something to eat! The whole pizza was so hard that you couldn’t even bite it! You couldn’t even tear off a piece of the pepperoni without it just crumbling; it was ridiculous!

Personal pan pizzas came out hot and fresh. The lady was nice. The only thing is I ordered 2 meat lovers and received 1 meat lovers and 1 pepperoni. I was already home so I decided the heck with it.

Every time I order from Uber eats and come to pick up my food the associates at the store give me a hard time. I think it is because of lackluster training, they may not understand how ordering from second party apps such as Uber eats or door dash works. Also, I noticed that the employees are a much older group of people so they may need some better training with how these digital apps.

My suggestion to anybody who is ordering Pizza Hut through DoorDash or Uber eats is to just say the name on the order because if you include the name "Uber eats" or "doordash" they will assume that you are a driver picking up for a customer. In this instance I was a husband picking up an order for his wife that she placed.

Upon trying to pick up my food I feel like I was not talked to in a professional manner. I get it, I've worked in customer service before so I understand how frustrating it could be talking to over a hundred customers per day. But at least I would like to be addressed with decorum and respect as you do work for an established corporate entity. I do not want to be addressed like we're in the street or something. The regional general Manager will hear from me as I will escalate this complaint to the appropriate authority because I do not want to be associated as an untrustworthy person who does not pay for his meals. I'm a hard-working man and an uniformed armed service member.

I ordered a pizza and cheese sticks online. When I got to the store they said that they don't have cheese sticks but I had already paid for them online. The lady said she would refund my money and she charged me for a pizza and supposedly canceled the transaction from online. It didn't work and when I saw my credit card bill two days later I had been charged for the Pizza twice and the breadsticks that I did not get. I called the restaurant to get refund as I live out of town. They said they didn't have anyone there that could do it. Also the restaurant was very dirty and instead of having napkins on the tables they had rolls of paper towels. It was the worst Pizza Hut I've ever been in.

Edit...you will see at the end how great this place used to be. The food we just got is nothing like it was before. No extra cheese or extra sauce. They gave us a Pepsi instead of a Dr pepper. They forgot the bottle of water...which they offered to go back and get the water. I would not recommend this pizza hut anymore. The pictures are from a previous visit...our pizza didn't look like these. It's a sad day for Dothan.

It tastes like 1997 pizza hut. I can not describe how good this pizza is. I get this pizza every time we drive up from Florida....our pizza huts down there are Garbage. I have no idea how the rating is so low on Google. Amazing pizza...i own a pizza shop, I would be concerned if this opened up near me. I have one slice left from my large pan....i want to eat it....but I can't. Perfect pizza hut.

This is the 4th time I've ordered from here and recieved an under cooked pizza. The dough was not cooked fully so I wasted my money and time yet again. They need new ovens desperately. I thought they would have new ovens by now.I will not eat here ever again.The service and staff are great but obviously whoever owns this pizza hut doesn't want to put any money into it for things like an oven. Shame.

We have always loved Pizza Hut, but the last three times we got pizza from there, it was very substandard. The last two times we went for the lunch buffet, there was relatively little on the buffet. The service was great in spite of the fact that the single waitress on duty was running herself ragged the whole time. I tried calling corporate office to report the new owner's inability to handle his restaurant, but got no answer, even though I called several times at different times of the day.

Crusts and wheres the sauc I think they forgot it.all I could taste was mushrooms.then the cinnabons looked like they had been tossed across the kitchen and stomped on

This is the second time this has happened. I placed my order online. It say my pizza would be ready in x minutes. When I arrived to pay, my pizza was not ready. No problem. I don’t mind waiting a 20 minutes more. I end waiting almost an hour on both visits and my pizza was just there sitting on the hot bar already ready. No one acknowledged me until they got out plenty of people as I sat there waiting. On the second visit, I was there before people came in and was told twice early on while waiting, my pizza was not ready yet. I say ok. After that, I was no longer being paid attention to. It is because of this service that I will no longer tip at this establishment. Furious.

Awful pizza. It was overcooked and crunchy. We ordered 2 pan pizzas and got 2 super thin pizzas instead. Pizza hut has become one of the worst pizza places but this particular location has to be the worst we've had so far.

I placed my order a day before I picked it up. When I went to get my order, it was hot, but part of it was incorrect. I had already reached my destination, so I had to return to the restaurant. The person that gave me my order tried to argue with me saying that it was correct. I don't understand how someone can argue with you about an order that you specifically made. I know what I specifically ordered and i know what my dietary restrictions are. She wasn't even there when I placed the order, yet she had so much to say about it. I didn't appreciate her attitude. I don't think I will be returning to this store.

If I am desperate for convenience, Pizza Hut is my first choice. This night, they were out of pan crust and onions. I wanted a Super Supreme on Pan Crust. I was disappointed but what I did order was good.

Ordered delivery got a meat lovers and supreme, pizzas were an hour late saying they had to remake them, pizzas arrived wrong they had peppers and onions that we didn’t ask for or either, called the get our pizzas remade, arrive 30 minutes later and were missing the sauce, when we called they didn’t care and were not friendly at all wouldn’t recommend go to papa Johns

We have given up on Pizza Hut in Dothan, AL! Nobody runs the Southside location and good luck getting a real time of when your pizza will be ready for pick up. We waited 2hrs for pizza with others who were waiting on small, simple orders. Nobody cares about quality or service and the workers break health codes and labor laws going and coming. Door Dash drivers are allowed to park in handicap parking spaces and the management doesn’t do anything about it—even when brought to their attention.

I ordered a large chicken bbq pizza, it came with bacon and ham? I don't eat pig meat!! They remake it and it's a medium size. I paid for it but I will never order at this Pizza hut! I will go to Northside where it's made perfect with perfect friendly staff!

Never got pizza. Pizza was ordered and was told ready in 45 minutes. When my order was “ready” according to the app, my order had not even been started. I waited for 45 minutes more and finally walked out like all the other customers.
The person running register could not do the job. No employee took responsibility for expediting orders and it was the worst experience I have ever had. Will not be back.

I ordered a pizza for delivery and after over an hour of ordering never received the pizza whatsoever. I tried calling the store multiple times. I was sent to a call center the first time and they hung up on me. I called again and was put on hold indefinitely. I finally had to call the customer service hotline and cancel it. I didn't even want it anymore and I'm furious. Definitely don't want pizza hut anymore especially not this store. If I could give it a zero I would. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

We called at 8pm. 930 rolls around and we still never heard back, so we called back and got put in the queue. We then called back from two different phones 15 min apart and immediately were placed in the queue when we asked if there was a hang up with our pizza. Long story short. It never showed up and we were never given an explanation where it was. Go to dominos.

I placed an order on the Pizza Hut app for contactless delivery and on delivery instructions to please place order on my car (color/make).

As the delivery time passed it still said out for delivery. A few minutes later my doorbell rang and it was a child from the next building over asking if I had ordered food because it was delivered to their Apt and they had not ordered anything. It appeared to have been opened.

I called the restaurant to report my food had been delivered to the incorrect address and that it had been brought to me by the neighbor from the next building over and appeared to have been opened. He was instantly rude and continued to be rude throughout the conversation. He told me that the delivery driver is a mailman (I’m not sure what that has to do with him delivering my food to the wrong address) and he was sure he delivered to right address. Discussed the fact that I left contactless delivery instructions and he told me the color showed but the make of my car was cut off of the receipt. AGAIN, not sure what that had to do with the driver looking and making sure he delivered my food to the correct address. I asked him to ask the driver if there was a certain color SUV where he delivered the food, he lied and said there was a ….color CAR (color of my car) which was a lie because I walked outside and there was the SUV. I asked him to ask the driver if there were Christmas lights still up at the building he delivered to and that’s when he had no choice but to admin he went to the wrong address because there are no lights on mine.

He also tried to make it seem like I was calling before the driver even got back (driver literally walked in as we were talking).. Not sure what that even had to do with anything because the app never showed my food as delivered and I never got a text update about delivery. THEN….he told me, well your food was delivered if you say the neighbor brought it to you. Just WOOOOOOOW!

Now this entire time I just wanted my food order done over and delivered because I didn’t want the food that was delivered to the wrong address. I was ready to send back the original order when the new one got here.

There was more that happened when he placed me on hold and then accused me hanging up because someone picked up like they were trying to take my order and I told them I had been on hold with the restaurant about an order issue and they transferred me back. But he did apologize for that.

I wasn’t even upset when I called because everyone makes mistakes. But the blatant, immediate rudeness defense mode, and lying was unnecessary and unacceptable. Why the delivery driver flat out lied and the manager (or whoever he was) was trying to uphold him in the lie instead of providing a minimum of DECENT customer service I will never understand.

This has me so upset tonight and I did not deserve to be treated the way I was.

The calling service for delivery (wherever it is), is terrible, but the store manager and staff do an outstanding job and the manager definitely deserves some recognition for going out of his way and doing more than the normal expectations to ensure good service, something that is needed in many other businesses these days. Thank you !

Times are changing in regards to offerings. No longer is the buffet offered, no fountain drinks and if you want water it will have to be bottled. No option for tap water any longer. Service was just so so as the server was multitasking behind the counter. They ran out of hand tossed dough so you either went thin or pan. Definitely room for improvement.

I ordered a large supreme pizza via a telephone call. The gentleman who took my order was very abrupt on the phone. After my husband arrived and paid for our pizza, he found that our pizza was missing some ingredients. No one told me when I ordered the pizza that they would be unable to fulfill the order, nor was my husband told before paying that they didn’t have the missing ingredients to put on our pizza. Very disappointed and won’t order again. Terrible customer service!!

Possibly the worst experience I've had at a restaurant. Order was wrong. Was told it would be remade and ready in 15 minutes. 30 minutes later it wasn't even in the oven. I asked for a refund and was told they don't do refunds. Only store credits. Why would I want store credit if I'm not going back to your garbage restaurant? Also it looked pretty dirty in there

Online order went haywire after someone ordered 60 pizzas for a party. 45 minutes after my pickup time I finally demanded a refund and left. Most likely won't return. They really need to work on ordering conflicts. Online,walkins, and phone orders do not blend seamlessly together. A major problem.

Waited almost 2 hours for my order, after I was told it would be about 20-25 minutes. I sat and watched other customers come in and get their food without any issues, meanwhile the customers that were there prior to were overlooked. Apparently our food was burned in the oven and they had to remake it, AFTER they finished the other orders. I appreciate remaking my food and I understand being busy, but none of this was initially communicated to me. I only got this information after asking of my order status 5 times. And when I finally got my food and returned home, my pizza and wings were cold.

I placed a large order. A total of 13 items totaling approximately $150. Upon entering Pizza Hut I was given the side eye by a white grey headed, older male employee by the name of Timothy. (I’m assuming due to the fact that I had biracial children with me). He finished his conversation with a co worker and then walked away before coming back to ask what I wanted. I advised I was there to pick up carry out order. He told me to move to the counter to check the items. Upon checking, it was discovered 2 pizzas were missing. I placed them in the car and advised him that it was a hand tossed beef and cheese. He told me he needed them brought back in. I brought them back and he got verbally aggressive raising his voice and said you didn’t have to bring them back, show me the receipt. He then walked over and muttered “how people always want s—- for free.” And then repeated my order incorrectly, once again, as a beef and a pepperoni . I said if you would’ve gotten the order right the first time, I wouldn’t be standing here. Again advising it was a cheese and a beef hand tossed pizzas. He then told me to leave and he would bring my food out. I told him no I would be waiting and then became physically and verbally more aggressive. I will be reporting this incident to the corporate office as his aggressive, disrespectful and nasty attitude should never be tolerated but a business serving customers. He should in no way shape or manner be in customer service. His racist acting, condescending tone having. aggressive manner should not be tolerated. And if he didn’t want to do the job why did he apply. You need to work with people of all backgrounds. A straight disgrace to gods green earth. He’s not worth the trees that provide him fresh oxygen. He should have the day he deserves everyday. Do not go to this restaurant under any circumstances.

We tried the Melts. We ordered Chicken Bacon Parmesan and Meat Lovers. The crust was very hard. The filling was good. I don't think we'll try these again. The service great as usual. I picked up my order so I don't know about the atmosphere.

Got one of the box deals for two medium one topping pizzas with Alfredo and cheese sticks on 9/29/23. I could tell they were busy but I've been going to this location since I was like 7 years old, 24 years ago so I didn't mind the wait. Very happy with our order, if you're ordering on a busy night, I recommend ordering well in advance. 5/5

I know this past Sunday night they had two Cooks quit on them so they had one cook and one person cutting the pizza and one taking orders and they were backed up I said they're probably a good hour and my order never got put in the oven within that hour 1/2 yes I lost a lot of money Sunday night just waiting on one pizza

How awesome it was to take you back when they first opened in Dothan.
I've traveled across the U. S. and, to come back to Dothan and had this locations pizza for the first time and "OMG".

I ordered pizzas and desserts that turned out to be 69.78 and they said 30 minutes I waited for 2hours and never received the order this is not right Pizza Hut I’m big mad and I’m never gonna be ordering from this place again.

We haven't been to this Pizza Hut in a long time, but last night we ordered a carry out because the other guy's website wasn't working. The pizza was really, really good. The service was amazingly friendly, and the order was correct. We're still talking about it this morning. Maybe they're under new management or something. A pleasant surprise given the abysmal condition of today's restaurant industry.

We got the family together hoping to rekindle a family memory of having a pitcher of beer while waiting for our pizza. I was hoping to enjoy a great salad bar on brightly covered tables covered with the traditional red and white checked cloths. All while smelling our delicious pizza bake! Sorry to say that didn't happen.
There is no beer
No Salad Bar
No traditional table cloths...
The entire staff was warm and welcoming, and the pizza was hot and delicious! But the empty remnants of the salad bar that is no longer available was a sad reminder of a bygone era. We had a large group of us, so we sat all the way up front. This area seemed to be forgotten and used as a storage area for discarded equipment. The tables and booths were sticky and unkept. The bathroom toilet wouldn't flush as the handle was inoperable.
We all enjoyed our dinner as a family in spite of the disappointments, and again, we loved the pizza!!!. But we really miss the experience of the Old Pizza Hut we all remembered.

Pizza hut there in Dothan was a great place for me and my friends to actually come inside to eat. I called in an order, customer service was very nice, as we arrived to pick out food up, I asked if we could come eat inside and they were extremely nice to me and welcomed us all in. We got great customer service, and out food was so yummy.

I always spend my money with Pizza Hut and pay extra for delivery, but the last FEW times we call they take 5 till 7 mins to answer then the call hangs up!!!! Once we finally get a chance to order they take well over an hour with our food. So So DISAPPOINTED!

Pizza came an hour late and the app indicated that it was on the way and it was still at the store. The manager was apologetic, but she couldn't tell me where it was and couldn't contact the driver because they went through doordash to deliver our food due to lack of drivers.

If there was a zero stars I would have hit it The cashier was rude. Saying that we look like we ate alot because we're monkeys I wanted to jump over the counter but I held my composer.....
