Publix Super Market at Westway

I have been shopping at this store for years and it has never disappointed me. I love to walk around the store and shop all of their deals. The store is also always incredibly clean and the service is always very friendly and helpful.

It seems like at least once a month. They always have great deals on LaCroix soda, which is God's beverage, and I can always stock up. I really wish they would carry, hot tamales, America's number one cinnamon flavored candy. Is the best in town.

I'm happy to report that my previous negative experience with this Publix has significantly improved. The store is consistently clean, well-stocked, and offers excellent customer service. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I'm particularly impressed with the noticeable change in privacy. The past issue of employees sharing customer information has been resolved, making for a more comfortable shopping experience. I now confidently recommend this Publix to others.

Got a deli meat tray today. My daughter picked it up and when I saw it I was very disappointed. The meat and cheese appear to be fine, but they garnished with a bunch of grapes that look to be half eaten. The stems with no grapes are sticking up and look like someone had been browsing. When I order a $30 tray I really expect it to look great, but it wasn't.

I had a problem with my debit card (my fault) and they were so wonderful to help me!! They walked me to my car as I was on an electric buggy full of bagged groceries to get my phone, transferred my order to customer service so I didn't hold up the line behind me and waited for me to get it straight. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE DURING A HARD TIME!

Clean facility. Great quality produce. Different products than other shops. Better quality. Price appropriate for quantity and quality. Well stocked and large variety. Staff knowledgeable on products and locations. They are having technical difficulties with the pick up orders. The customer service employee should receive training on how to handle orders when the technology fails.

You shop Publix for quality and selection. You know, going in that the prices are higher. The shopping experience with like-minded people is worth the higher price.

Everyone is very nice at this Publix. But the main reason to go is the Sushi. I'm not sure what her name is but she does an amazing job and imo it's the best Sushi in Dothan. The store is also very clean.

Every time my Husband and I grocery shop we choose Publix. Their products are a bit higher in price but the quality makes the price very minimal based on other grocery stores who's products are subpar at best. To add even more reasons to why we prefer Publix is their customer service is fantastic. I have never seen employees so friendly as Every single employee is at publix!!! I don't know how Publix screens their employees but whatever it is , believe me, it's working. They are by leaps and bounds the kindest, happiest people I've ever had the pleasure to be a consumer and dedicated shopper due to all of the aforementioned reasons. Went into store at 7pm to get kids a quick dinner after gymnastics. The entire hot deli was closed down, ok I will get them a sandwich…. Nope out of bread!!! I get a few items needing cash for a children’s daycare field trip, used the wonderful self checkout. My fault I did not relate the no cash transaction to not being able to get cash back. Young lady monitoring self checkout was useless and very rude. Will not return to this publix, as times goes the quality of people they are hiring has diminished. I am one strike away from never shopping Publix again.

There are some absolutely amazing associates working at this location. I am horrible with names but the front end manager is absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable. Amelia is a pure sweetheart and I wish I could remember the other friendly cashiers that have been helpful during our visits. We definitely did not understand WIC and they have so helpful in getting the right products. The young lady with the flowers assisted with picking out a beautiful bouquet for a birthday gift to my neighbor and last but not least. The young lady in deli(Velinsa) I definitely spelled her name wrong but she was cleaning up for the night and my pregnant daughter was looking for options. She volunteered to get her an order together. Such a great gesture. I thank your team for being great to us.

I'm sure they are fine grocers but we were there for a one hour session witnessing to people about Jesus and they called the cops on us. We weren't in the parking lot, blocking any traffic or approaching people. We were simply there to spread the gospel if anyone wanted to hear.

I just wanted to share a review from my catering experience with this location. The staff was extremely professional and kind. They ran into some adversity with one of the ovens, but were very communicative and still got me my order. The staff loved all the food. Publix definitely missed in Ozark, AL , many times what I am looking for not in Walmart and that Dothan trips ending with a short visit to Publix. Price wise not deserving 5 star. Am I a chippoo or what, 😆
