I live in Boaz and drive here about twice a month to pick through the cards. I've recently started selling at local card shows and if I need boxes, displays, or Braves cards, I make sure to stop by here a few days before the show. There's a ton of collectibles such as autographed sports memorabilia, coins, toys, and the prices are reasonable. It can be overwhelming the 1st time you walk in but I'm thankful there is so much stuff to look through. The owner is very helpful. I've taken cards here to sale or trade and have been ok with accepting the offer and I've even turned down an offer or two. Either way I will still do business here and will send others to do business here as well.

They have a decent sized area just for MTG. I came in today looking for a starter kit for me and my wife, which we couldn't find. But we found a duel deck from 2016, which suited me just as good. Definitely will be coming back. Old gentleman was patient and nice.

This gentlemen is a cornerstone of Broad St. His shop may be a little cluttered, but he has legendary finds. Amazing prices. Love this business.

Old guy inside is a scam. Took him some Pokémon cards and this guy offered me $400 for my whole collection and it had a holographic Charizard card. Dude took advantage of someone at the time didn’t know what they had.

Drove 2 hours with 5,000 worth of stuff for him to offer me 35 for 150 worth of cards and then he wouldn't even look at the toys that I brought I'll never be going there again. Now it's April 11th and out of the truck load of stuff that I took their sold 8 items on ebay for 1,500 don't take your stuff there just sell it on eBay he wants to check the cheapest stuff you have to say that you don't have anything worth money

Best sealed magic prices and selection I've seen. Store is slightly cluttered and they could offer more mtg product.
I drive an hour to buy mtg from here.

What a great place for collectibles! Large selection. A bit hard to maneuver down some of the aisles because of the amount of things. Terrific visit. Did some Xmas shopping. Will be back.

A good selection of sports cards and a lot of other stuff that I didn’t have time to look at. So much stuff there and pretty good prices on the cards I bought. My only complaint is that it is very crowded with just enough space to walk. Overall a pretty good store 👍🏼.

Mainly comic books and toys not many cards to choose from prices are decent and most cards not in toploader or penny sleeve the ones that is are just in toploader I went to sell cards and I had way better selection them him and talked to him on phone said he pay half of Ebay comps well I got there hour before closing he took whole hour checking them out and said he give me 200 for 2 stacks but he was in a hurry cause he was meeting someone aww t his house so I figured he seem like trust worthy person and took the cash didnt see wat cards he got till I got got home and made me sick he cleaned me out got very valuable cards for maybe 10 percent of wat they go for on ebay I will never take my cards to sell at another shop dude is a crook buying from him may be ok but avoid selling him anything to him

Mike is always the person to see while traveling through Gadsden to hard to find collectibles. Hobbies and Collectibles has been my favorite hobbies and collectibles store for over 30 years. The store has the best inventory selection.

To be the only art and crafts supply store withing a 60 mile radius it seems the prices could be a little more reasonable, they used to be then they went up on everything now I cant even afford to make my holiday items i usually make and sale cause I'd have to charge way to much to make my money back much less any profit.

Excellent shop! Best in town and a wide variety of things to choose from sports cards to nonsport items as well. Mike, the owner is a great guy!!! A must see visit for loyal collectors of any spectrum in the hobby of collecting!!!

Best place to get comics, comics, you name it when it comes to collectables. And the owner is awesome! He knows his stuff. He was a history teacher he said lol. Highly recommended!

Love this place! Owner is a retired history teacher so it's like speaking with a historian on his coins not to mention the comics and sports memorabilia he sells too. It's like a 1 stop shop for collectors. Highly recommended and ill be back!

Generally, I am a bargain hunter. I found a couple of items in the quarter bin and filled several gaps out of his 50-cent bin before looking through his Amazing Spiderman section. It was a lot of fun. There was no pressure. I really enjoyed the time there.

They don't have new Comics, they only carry back issues. Store is in disarray but they have a little bit of everything. Really good prices on silver and bronze age
