I used to enjoy the store @ the Gander Mtn location, but since they moved to the Gadsden Mall, it seems like only a fraction of what SH offers is provided. I did not want to touch on this, but I had a cashier who was named Suzie? and she seemed EXTREMELY annoyed to be there and annoyed when I asked if I could use my 20% off coupon. I enjoy SH but the customer service I received has me questioning if I ever want to return since I guess using a coupon earns you nasty stares and “sures”.

They seemed well stocked on costumes, accessories, decor, etc. However, we went to look at the animatronics in person. They had TWO set up right when you walk in. THATS IT. Not even good ones either. 1 scream that just lit up and made a noise, and the circus ring leader. Highly disappointed. The most plain Spirit Halloween I’ve ever visited.

This Spirit Halloween store was thrown haphazardly inside a semi dead mall. One animatronic and stock was lacking for the most popular items & had a dirty floor. Spirit Halloween,,stop doing this & give us an event in every state like you do at your flagship store. People will travel for it because as far as animatronics go, you cant set up in small stores & Home Depot & Lowe's are competing against you..EASILY!! If we are forced to go to home improvement stores to see animatronics, we will buy there & just go to Walmart for the makeup & costume accessories,,besides it's cheaper anyway.

Terrible service the workers were rude and disrespectful.. no options and it’s so much smaller. Definitely more expensive than Amazon and they don’t offer exchanges for customers who pay full price for an item is ridiculous such a terrible place to go. Save your money order from Amazon

Workers were not helpful at all. Ask them questions and they seemed aggravated and was rude with the answers. Rushed us out of the store so they could close 30 minutes early. Never again will I go back there.

I love the store and all the great things to look at and purchase. I’ve been a long time customer.
However, this is something that I feel is a very unfair practice. I was told by an associate Morgan (former manager in another Spirit Halloween store in Birmingham.)
The sale is 50% on November first and second.. but the large Store animatronics that go on sale starting November 1 for the general public BUT I was informed by this associate they have a list of names to call to “let them know”.. ok let them know what? The store sale is November 1st and 2nd first come first serve . There is no note on the sign out front stating to get on THE LIST ..I was even informed the store manager (as per Morgan) he told one man that October 31st. Was possible? Is this implying that he gets ahead of the general public ???
Yes I’m just a customer.
Every year I buy ONE large item..I
just want a fair shot!!!

I was at the store shopping with my mother when my grandmother came in and was shocked and disgusted when a manager was in the parking lot in front of customers and kids kissing and practically having intercourse with a female employee against a car with there bottoms hanging out she has green hair and glasses we left our basket and left immediately atleast this don't happen in the walmart Halloween section would leave 0 stars if I could gross!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was at the store with my children and I seen a girl with green hair the manager mariyah or mikaylla was making out in the parking lot with a man then with another female employee they was rubbing each other's private areas in front of my young kids I was disgusted and will not go back there again this was so incredibly unprofessional after the manager mariyah was rude to me and my sister and she was the one in the parking lot with a mixed girl worst experience ever I will be reporting this to the company
