Dollar General

Stopped here to pick up a few things we needed, however, couldn't even go in the store due to the parking lot had no places any where due to people parking and walking across to The Falls Christmas Lights. People were making their own spaces not even in spots as well. And we almost got hit head on by someone whipping through the parking lot trying to find a spot. Just my opinion, but you'd think they'd try to do something about that so people could do business there.

This place is a joke, in fact, it's a joke of a joke. 90% of the time when you walk in, there's barely anything in the coolers or everything is picked over on the shelves. Maybe if your expectations are below 0 then maybe it's tolerable. Surely corporate dollar general can't be aware of this store and the state it's in. There's just nowhere close by to go or I would go there.

They have recently made the store bigger and better, and it has alot more frozen foods, isles are redesigned, more items in general. Everything from food items, to cleaning products, pet food and other items, health needs,and even clothes. A GREAT place to shop, and you even get a coupon on the back of your receipt for future use. The salesclerks are very courteous and willing to go out of their way to help. I love this store!

Usually this dollar general only has one person at the counter, and sometimes you have to wait a while because they're busy with other things- However, everyone I've ever spoken to there has been extremely nice, and I always look forward to seeing them. Best time to go is early in the morning before anyone else will be there, avoid it at all costs at around 3, when school gets out.

The store is improving the inside of the store. Only if they could do the same outside. The parking lot is nasty always trash in parking lot no employee goes out to clean it. The same stuff will stay in parking lot for days. All it takes is a broom and a dust pan with a handle. If they run out to smoke they can keep the lot clean.

I was a vendor and this store was on my route. The little short manager Lisa was rude and had way to big of a head. Chill out lady your the manager of this nasty, stinking, outdated store. And to reply to everyones Comments about the line being long and slow. DG is too cheap for that. I don't shop at DGs I'd rather go to a convenient store or Walmart

If you don't feel like going to the grocery store,Good second choice..Prices are a little higher..Most employees are really nice..If you wont cigarettes you better I have I.D. with you!!! They will check it Even if you are 80 you will not get them with it!!!

This use to be 1 of my favorite Dollar General stores to go to & to take my elderly mother & aunt to. Now it's become the worst. Apparently the A/C has gone out. As high as gas is & as inconvenient as it is to go to another store.. that's what we decided to do from now on. The customer service there is fine but I feel like I'm shopping outside & for Dollar General to be a multimillion dollar company..it doesn't sit well with me how they would let the A/C be out in the hottest months of the year. I feel for the employees that work there. I bet that store doesn't even provide them with the proper hydration for working in those conditions

As a frequent Dollar General shopper, I can honestly say that experience depends on which store you visit. The one consistent thing is the 1 open register and long lines. Until Covid, I could usually find what I was looking for. However, it can be amusing to wander around the store.

Best location in Gadsden. Cleaning supplies where scarce. But I found my dog shampoo and the last jug of window cleaner.

A gentleman paid my bill because my debit wouldn't work at this store. Line as usual and stuff everywhere couldn't find my products I needed. Guy who paid my bill was lucky I didn't. I appreciate it, and haven't a clue who he was but wanted to post.

I bought a gift card from the store and the cashier did not mention the code was on the receipt. Like lots of people I tossed the receipt and had no idea what the code was. Thankfully I contacted cooperate and they were able to help me out.
