fabulous men’store. I can not not say enough good things about the quality of service the selection. The store itself is just wonderful lots of help and getting custom shirts done I highly recommend this place if you’re in Birmingham or even local it’s tops on my list.

I mean, where else would you go? My dad, brother, and any boyfriend I’ve had has always been gifted something from Shaia’s- they’re never disappointed. As far as customer service goes, you can’t get anymore personable or reliable. The team at Shaia’s takes the time to understand your style and needs, it’s truly a tailored experience. Whether it’s for a classic suit, a stylish accessory, or something uniquely curated, you know you’re getting top-quality pieces that stand out. It’s not just shopping—it’s an experience that keeps you coming back, year after year (since 1922!).

I am very positively impressed about this store! It is one of the best stores I have ever seen for mans clothing . Was lucky to have walked in the year they celebrate their 100 year anniversary! The selection of quality brands is un parallel. Hats of to this fine establishment! 100 more years of prosperity to you!

Shaia’s is the BEST clothier for men in Birmingham. Excellent customer service with a knowledgeable staff. They outfit my husband and teenagers. Whether you are fashion forward or classic conservative, they have you covered. A Birmingham staple for a 100 years!

11/10 experience! I was needing a new suit for my upcoming wedding and Patrick and the rest of the team at Shaia’s were amazing. I can’t imagine myself going to another men’s clothing store and having a better experience. Extremely professional, kind, and highly experienced staff across the board.

Our wedding was planned for May 2nd. Covid-19 became the reality and there was disaster after disaster. We cancelled, replanned, downsized, and resized to accommodate the changing world around us. At the start, I had expert advice and help from Ben who fashioned two outfits for the preceding parties. The styling, the fit, and the attention to detail was superb. If you like things done right, go to Shaia's. But the story continues, for the actual wedding day we had a tuxedo picked out that was being made in Italy. The factory had to shut down due to the virus and in the few weeks leading up to the wedding, I was facing quite the dilemma. Ben called me for a special appointment to come in and see what could be done from what was on hand at the store. Ben and Ken went far beyond the extra mile to make sure I was not only clothed for my wedding, but the tuxedo was classy, comfortable, and contained the right amount of original. I cannot recommend Shaia's any higher. There were even a few other minor disasters with needing a haircut and my brides' dress needing last minute alterations that we took to Ken because he just got things done. This is where you can truly see Ken's kindness. He helped us in a huge way during our time of need. Shaia's is a five star store from every angle thanks to a helpful, accommodating, and knowledgeable staff.

They have the best clothing and the owner knows the full history and detail of every piece he sells. Made 2 laps around the showroom without being acknowledged. Guess I didn’t look like one of their normal customers. I would’ve had a hard time paying their prices as a first time visitor, but they don’t have to worry about that since I couldn’t even get a hello. Unfortunate

Shaia's is a family owned men's clothing store that is unparalleled as far as service and selection. The store itself makes finding clothes/shoes fun and interactive, while the exceptional staff go out of their way to help you and ultimately build relationships which will last forever. My father first went to Shaia's in the early 1970's where he bought his first nice sports coat and has been a return customer since. The family atmosphere is one of a kind, and makes this store truly special.

How lucky Birmingham Alabama is to have Shaia's. They have the best selection of finer men's clothing short of Italy. Rarely do you find a store like this that treat's you like family. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

My husband has only recently been interested in "nice clothes." He's known Ken Shaia for years but we've not shopped there regularly. I decided to take him there for his 50th birthday a couple of years ago. Not only did we have a great time, we got so many timeless pieces that my husband loves. I continue to shop there and build his wardrobe which is the beauty of shopping at Shaia's: nothing trendy; all classic, tailored pieces that make him feel like a million bucks. We can call Shaia's, describe an upcoming event, and they'll have the perfect ensemble put together when we get there or, better yet, something that will go perfectly with the pieces we've already bought. A great place!

WOW! Absolutely positively the best shopping experience I have ever had. I have an athletic build and finding clothes that fit my physique is impossible. Well, until I met Greg Flowers. He was my consultant, and he gave me the most knowledgable, helpful & educational journey about properly fitting clothes, what a tailor can and cannot do, and how to layer elements together into a cohesive personal style that is all your own. Greg has in-depth knowledge of all the products in the store, how they fit, which brands flatter certain body types, how to build a cohesive wardrobe and what will look good on you in a way that fits your personal style. The atmosphere at the store is relaxing and makes shopping feel like you are strolling around at home chatting with very knowledge and suave friends.

After one visit I am a full convert. If you have trouble finding clothes that not only fit but also complement your very hard-earned physique, then do yourself a favor and go see Greg.
