You can find book 📚 s, comics, movies, records and all kinds of random collectibles. I spend hours every time I go. I just bought a bunch of Stranger Things bust and collectible and they have a ton of game cartridges. I might buy a Nintendo DS because they have such a larger selection of games.

Absolutely love this place! My daughter loves shopping here. You can find some stuff you can't find anywhere else in the area. The staff is super helpful! If you are ever in the Area you should stop by

I came thru to this location on Tuesday. As I entered I was greeted by an employee at the buy back counter. He showed me exactly where the books I was looking for were located. Very pleasant and professional.

I had to use the bathroom upon arrival b/c I was traveling. The bathroom was clean and good order.

Great, fun store! Books, records, cds, dvds, games and more. New and used. Spent 2 hours in here! There was so much to see! My family bought almost 300.00 worth of stuff on this one trip!

Second and Charles is a great place for some unique finds. It also has plenty of books and comics to look through if you're interested. But my biggest problem about this store is that many things are priced a bit high.

I'm only giving 3 stars because of the guy that has worked there since it was BAM. He has outstanding customer service and a fun personality. I hate that his name has been lost to the fog that coats my brain nowadays.
But the book set up is still terrible. No horror section and everything tossed in fiction but barely alphabetical makes for wasted time. I've seen Goodwills with a better setup than this place. I know customers are jerks that don't put things back every time but this is more than that.

Lots of books and other things for sale. A friend found some books there on our visit. A friend took books to sell. Seems like a scam as we had to go back and pick up books. Another customer was doing the same thing and complaining. You might as well sell them online or donate to charity.

I had passed by this places numerous times and never checked it out until my son and I needed to waste a few minutes before an appointment. I could kick myself for not going in here sooner. It is such a charming place! There is literally something for everyone in here; music lovers, movie lovers, book lovers, even toys and plush animals for children, and figurines. They even have record players and vinyls there, CDs too, and some instruments!!! I could stay in this store all day and probably still not see everything they have there. The atmosphere is so laid back and calming. The employees are chill and friendly, yet still helpful and professional. I highly recommend this place for anything from just browsing to finding the perfect gift for someone. Five stars ALL DAY!!!

Its great if you are looking for anything entertainment related, the way i figured out they existed was because i went to GameStop to sell some PS2 games, and they said they wouldnt take them but gave us the address of Second and Charles, i personally think that S&C is better than GameStop in every way, even the damnitt dolls.

The very worse bookstore I have ever been to. The door was open. The associate was there to say we are closed. So you dont want to make a sale? He escorts me out of the store. I will never ever shop here again. Please contact me customer service with your pathetic excuse. Please. Zero customer service. I will be shopping at barnes and noble from here on out.

Good place for used games but someone or corporate placed a whole shelf of anti-christianity and communist books in the Christian section. It had to be intentional if it was not it should be corrected.

I bought a game and I was expecting them to put the game in the case for me at the register but nope. They just sold me an empty game case. I didnt realize this until I got home which was 2 hours away. So I call them up and they say I have to come back to get the game or a refund byt they cant do it over the phone . But I wont be in that area again because I was just passing through. So I got sc3wed.

Literally a store for everyone in my family. The husband loves music and instruments, several of my children are into manga and anime, my 7yo is obsessed with their selection of Pokémon cards, my teens are currently into records and my nerd heart loved it all! If you are like us, do not come in here thinking you will only spend a few minutes. I spent atleast 20 minutes looking over all the candy and snacks that I had only seen online before.

I was still able to find something to buy but the nonbook sections were more organized and tended to than the books. Its a bookstore. I was told that there were no books by a certain author in the store but I found 3 books by that author in 3 different sections. And the employees seemed more interested in when they could leave over the customers in the store.

I bought my 6 string bass there in September 2022 and I love it. Its a SR 406 and it does look like it had been used plenty before I bought it. Theres a great selection of books, games, and other things. I highly recommend going and just taking a look at their selection because you might find something you like.

This particular 2nd and Charles definitely has a focus on pop culture and children Which reflects the young demographic of the area. Was a bit disappointed they didnt have a larger selection of craft books or philosophy books( I personally couldnt even find this section. Doesnt mean its not there, just means I had a hard time finding it with out asking an employee) It was clean and upbeat overall great atmosphere, just a little disappointed I couldnt find what I was looking for.

Love the store. Do not let them talk you into getting magazines for 3 months. I called five times to cancel and it still never canceled. Then I find out that I m being charged four differents times for the magazines. One of which I did not even choose. I never even received two out of the three magazines I did pick. The magazines are through some bogus third party.

Great options for Funko Pops if youre into collecting them. Service is great, and employees are very friendly as well. The only downside personally is some prices are a bit too high for some things, but I do love this store either way.
