For over 40 years the Huckaby family has been involved in the flooring needs of the bi-city area. After working in the floor covering trade many years with their father, Stan Huckaby and his two older brothers opened Huckaby Brothers Floor Covering in 1985. The business grew quickly and relocated to our current location on 3755 Highway 431 North. Now after 30 years, we continue to try and provide the best customer experiences with every flooring purchase.
From the beginning when my wife and I decided the living room rug had to go, we knew Huckaby Brothers Floor Coverings would be one of our choices. We found Cleve Huckaby to be very helpful and a man of his word, On day one we went to the Huckaby show room and was greeted by Cleve Huckaby. He put us at ease and was very knowledgeable and helpful in choosing a product. Our choice was Engineered Wood to be installed over our concrete slab floor. Cleve came to our home and provided us with an estimate to do our install. Their quality of product and affordability is A+. Cleve Huckaby and his team gave us the best customer experience we have had in a long time.

Huckaby Brothers has been amazing. The company installed LVP flooring in our entire home and tile work in my kitchen, and both bathrooms. Overall, they (Bo and Cleve) assisted us with the entire remodel of our home, to include recommending other reliable, trustworthy professionals to perform work outside the scope of their contract.
They assisted us with recommending flooring and tile options to meet our lifestyle and budget. Bo demonstrated great pride in his work and exemplified professionalism in all our interactions. The company’s pricing was extremely fair and budget friendly without sacrificing quality.

Unprofessional and shady. All around a horrible experience. The owner is the one who came out to give a quote. He was late and did not call. This should have been my first red flag. I received a quote for $3400 and asked that they go ahead and order the materials. A week later, when I called to get an update on when the materials would be in, I was told it had not been ordered and had to be approved by the owner. I could go ahead and have it ordered without his prior approval if I come in, sign a contract, and put 50% down. I agreed and said I would be in first thing in the morning. After they closed for the day, I got a text saying the original quote was incorrect and the materials would be $4100. I expressed my displeasure and basically received a reply text stating "Sorry, I misquoted. It's 4100." Of course, I was not okay with this answer and complained. The next day, the owner called and left a message on my phone stating he could get it down to $3000. Now it looks like they are just trying to take advantage of me. I told the person who referred me and he called them to try to get to the bottom of things. (At this point, I'm beyond frustrated and have a million other things on my plate as we have an impending move.) He was quoted $3300. When asked what the difference was between then and the call the day before, he was told the extra 300 is for freight. So, at this point, the price has changed 4 times and the material still has not been ordered. Our house closes in less than a week and, because of their inconsistency and incompetence, we now do not have time to do flooring prior to moving in. Save yourself a headache and being taken advantage of. Just use a different company to start with.

We had a leak in our house and had to file insurance. Called Huckaby Brothers and Hunter immediately came out and started the water mitigation process. He handled everything directly with my insurance company so I didn’t have to worry about anything. Steven did a wonderful job installing the new floors. I am very happy with how everything turned out. Great company, great people!

This is a wonderful company. The entire staff is incredibly polite and accommodating. We had the carpet replaced in our daughter’s room and it looks fantastic! The quality and affordability is A+. They communicate with you and are very efficient. Will be using them for the rest of the flooring in our home. Highly recommend!
