Horrible customer service. Purchased a chain saw blade they had listed to fit an echo. It doesn't fit. Went back in and the old gentleman up front told me they can't refund it because it was opened. Claimed its in there return policy that was hidden under a box of candy on the counter. Ignorant as heck. Horrible customer service. My receipt says refund policy 30 days with original receipt. Reporting the business and the a** hole to the BBB

A few months back when the weather was still a bit cooler I stopped by the Opelika location and bought a new Walls jacket. The guys there referred me to the Phenix City location for a set of coveralls. I drove there and spoke with an older woman who said she'd order a set for me and that it'd take a week or two to arrive. Two weeks passed and when I called back in regards to my order I was virtually cussed out and disrespected by the same woman. I won't return there to spend my hard earned money and I now understand why Mom and pop shops are going out of business.

I purchased a sprayer and first time I tried to use it I found it would not make pressure and leaking around top . I went in to store not for money or replacement just maybe a gasket and without receipt as policy were no help .I went to tractor supply and for $3 gasket they fixed it and I've always done business with Capps but no longer

They have a Very kind & helpful staff. Anything from the wearhouse the sweet guys who work out there, always friendly and ready to load your merchandise. I got some flea pills for my dog yesterday, I will give a updated review on them later. Hopefully it will save me from paying $90 every 3 months for a soft chew I get for my veterinarian. Hoping to go from $90 every 3 months ( not to mention the vet fee to take him in to get it) to $45 every 6 months. Yeah that sounds good to me.

Went into BW Capps in Columbus, GA. I used to shop there a lot, the customer service was always above par compared to similar stores.

Now the store is sectioned off, you to ask permission to look down isles, and best of all, if you ask why it is like that, they will in no uncertain terms let you know you can shop elsewhere.

This store used to be among the best, today I left my purchases at the register and took their advice and am shopping elsewhere.

Hopefully they return to who they used to be.

Great plant selection and friendly staff. I go to buy contractors blend grass for my yard at $125 for 50 pounds it's worth the value. The stuff you buy from Walmart or home Depot tends to Mostly be filler and overpriced.

In normal times I would give this business at least a four star rating, but on my recent visit they were only allowing limited customer's in to the parking lot and store. The owner explained he had five employees out with covid and another employee had quit that morning. After I selected some plants outside, I went in to pay and only saw two employees working behind the counter. Both behind plexiglass sneeze guards, but no masks. Makes be wonder how much attention they were paying to covid guidelines when their employees got infected. This business is usually a well stocked hardware store with knowledgeable workers and has all sorts of lawn and garden supplies. However I would stay away for now
