I contacted customer service when I couldn’t access it due to the second lock and the young lady I spoke with stated the second lock is there when there is a missed payment on storage unit and confirmed there was no missed payments and it was up to date. I have receipts to prove I’ve never missed a payment as well. It was a mistake on their part, customer service stated that they would send a message to the property manager and someone would reach out to me if not that day the next day. No one ever called, I had to go up there and ask why was the second lock on there in the first place when I’ve never missed a payment and all I got was a “I’m sorry” and now the reply from management that the lock wasn’t locked properly.

Really nice and clean storage unit, I did got a climate controlled storage. The Manager Ms. Candice was very nice and helpful helping me find a suitable size of storage and one that's near the loading area and accessible when I get to load my stuff. They also do 10% military discount for every monthly payments which is a plus for this storage unit. Great customer service👍

I have been at this storage for over a year. It is nice and clean, but my rent have been adjusted over $50. While it's a nice place the unit is not a good value for the price. I have several others across the state that are cheaper for the same size plus higher ceilings.
For that reason I am moving

This is my first time renting a storage unit. The Climate control unit was clean and provided rodent repellents, that I recommend spreading after you move in your items. The associates are super friendly. The cost is a bit high but I understand for quality.

I had a friend go look at the unit for me as I am currently out of state and getting ready to move. The lady that helped us was friendly and courteous. My friend was able to take and send pictures of the units they looked and send to me. The very kind lady at alsospoke with me directly and I was able to secure the unit I need. Don’t store your items here. They have rodent infestations here. They say they called pest control, but why do I have rodent infestations in my units. Everything I brought there was cleaned beforehand.

Let me star by saying Lisa is the best. I came in today to look at unit sizes because I wasn’t sure what I needed. She was so friendly and helpful.

While we were finishing up a KAREN in all her glory interrupted us. KAREN was so rude and swearing in front of my 2 year old daughter. Lisa asked her to please be respectful while she tried to help. She is all mad saying she had slipped in water and fell. Lisa apologized, asked where so she could clean it up and to retrieve the camera footage. That set KAREN off again. Her story changed and she wanted a supervisor. Lisa offered to get all her information and to her supervisor but she wanted them right then. KAREN says something about not caring because they are selling and she would just leave a review.

So for everyone that may read KARENS review. Know the truth.

I have been very happy with my experience at Phenix City Self Storage. The climate controlled units keep my belongings protected from heat, cold, and humidity. The facility always looks clean and organized. I feel safe accessing my unit alone thanks to the well-lit halls and secure facility. Some storage places can feel a bit sketchy if they are outdoors and open, but I never feel vulnerable here. The staff has always been friendly and helpful too. I would highly recommend Phenix City Self Storage if you need a secure, comfortable place to store your extra belongings. The climate control and security measures make it worth the price.

I’ve never had a storage unit where I actually LIKED the people in the office right?-Until now. Not going to lie, Lisa is extremely professional and hospitable. She treats everyone with respect, and makes sure her clients are taken care of to the best of her ability. Also, the rest of the staff in office are all sweet as well! I just have only dealt with Lisa for the most part which is why I’m praising her to the extent I am. LOL! 😂 It’s always a nice experience anytime I stop by. Keep up the good work guys. ❤️

This facility and its staff are awesome, especially Lisa. I must say, moving from MS to AL was kind of stressful and storing my things was even worst, however, Lisa made everything so easy and simple to do. She walked me through all of the units' sizes and made wonderful suggestions as to move forward. I would recommend this facility to everyone.

They worked quickly to get me into a unit and then after I got a place helped me downsize into a smaller one. They give military discount

Brandy and Lisa have impeccable customer service skills! They made me feel like I was the only customer in the store and were both knowledgeable and thorough in explaining the rental process. Lisa was even kind enough to give me a tour of my unit and inform me of all entry and exit points. They are a powerhouse team and I highly recommend them to anyone needing self storage!

The lady with the red curly hair is very sweet and nice. I had missed move-in day and she helped me on the spot. And the storage are so clean and immaculate price. If i could rate 10 stars i would.
