First time here, it was quiet but then again it was a Thursday 11:30am.
Waitress was very sweet & checked on me a few times which was great!! My breakfast was good, read chili had a good flavor! Can't wait to try alot more stuff on thier menu!! I'll definitely be back for more!!

It was a nice and simple sit down location. My friends and I went there for a quiet lunch. I had the ham, turkey and bacon sandwich. it was super delicious 😋

My friend got a BLT and my other friend a breakfast sandwich. I think her breakfast sandwich was $5. My sandwich was $12.

Great little place. The owners are super nice and polite.

We just stopped in to see the new menu. This used to be a cool Mexican seafood restaurant. It's now a breakfast and lunch place.

We tried the Ranchero. Decent flavor and made with a smile. Love it!

Next time we're going to try half the menu. Starting with everything chili and cheesy.

My husband and I went there today for breakfast, our 43rd Anniversary. It's a quaint spot with a delightful owner who took the time to converse with us. I ordered an omelet which was very good. It was a lovely experience. I will definitely go again. Thanks for the Anniversary breakfast Tata.

Very nice hometown cafe with American & Mexican fair. Staff very nice, cordial and attentive. Facility nice and clean with booths and tables. Bathrooms large, clean & picked up. Value okay. Coffee $2.50. WiFi not the best but okay. Most Weekdays open till 8:pm. Full menu available all open times. Daisy mention that cafe open just one year ago. First time here but will definitely come back if in the area.

I ordered the biscuits and gravy, I found the biscuits to be on the heavy side but the gravy to be perfectly light and flavorful. Service was polite and attentive. The atmosphere is just very dated and showing serious age.

Four of us had lunch here the other day and we all enjoyed our food and the great service. Maria took great care of us and we look forward to returning. The chips and salsa before our meals was very good, nice warm chips and salsa tasted really good. Now for food, between the four of us, we had a Wet Chicken Chimichanga, Chili Rellenos, Chicken Enchiladas and Chicken Chilaquiles. Everyone really enjoyed the food we ordered and the taste along with the preparation was great. We look forward to returning to this local business and would highly recommend Nana and Tara’s in Downtown Buckeye.

I live in California and when I go visit my daughter in buckeye I make sure I always come here The food is absolutely amazing with some of the best presentation aside from the amazing taste highly recommend to anybody going to buckeye or driving through Arizona it's a little out of the way but well worth it you will thank me later

It's just a casual place to eat. Some locals gather for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Service is good, The cook can't cook hashbrowns right though, a little disappointing. The owner is a nice guy.

My wife had the red menudo, which was mostly broth. The flavor was good, just not enough meat. I had a cheese omelet, which they forgot to add the cheese, the manager did discount the meal. The Omelet was cooked perfectly, just not prepared correctly.
Great atmosphere.
Great service.
We will go back and try their other 45 dishes. They do have a rather long menu.

Highly disappointed me and my wife come here often but recently I’ve brought my kids here and have had to hear the tall waitress with the pony tail cuss so much and say so much profanity saying “ A la verga” so ghetto do better management

I had a quesadilla with shredded beef, pico de Gallo, and sour cream. It cost like $18.00. a little steep in my opinion. My husband had biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon. The biscuits were fantastic but the gravy was very bland. I also had a strawberry slushie with vanilla ice cream concoction that was delicious. The place was very clean. The servers were very helpful. It wasn't a bad experience at all, but it also wasn't awesome. We probably won't go back again.

This place is cute. Customer service good. Bilingual folks. But I feel breakf is best here. Overall an OK place. Not noisy, a very good place to sit and have great conversations. Great coffee. Great pancakes, French toast etc. Great con't service of wanting to know if I needed anything else.

The coffee mug was super nostalgic to my upbringing. I never eat anyone's chilaquiles other than my own. These were the most flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection chilaquiles. The signature pancakes are very good as well.

We absolutely enjoyed our breakfast. The restaurant is clean, organized and everyone is extremely attentive with fash friendly service. I highly recommend this restaurant. We met the owner and she is very kind and friendly as well. And might I add great food and fair prices.

We were pleasantly surprised by this little place. Excellent service, huge servings, great breakfast menu. I can’t wait to go back for lunch! This place is definitely our new “go to” for breakfast. The prices are quite reasonable as well.

Terrible service
My family sat down and waited for almost 20 minutes without even being acknowledged at all, meanwhile two other families come in and are greeted with a friendly hello and are given menus/ drinks but we are completely ignored. Right away when we walked in it just seemed liked the staff and waitress did not want us there for whatever reason. My family has came here for months but you can bet that we won’t ever be back!

Simply awful! My hubby and I went here for breakfast this morning to give it a try. I ordered a pancake with a side of crispy bacon. My pancake wasn’t cooked in the middle. In fact it was quite gooey. My bacon was mostly fat. When we told one of the servers about the pancake (which I didn’t eat) all she said was “oh sorry”. They didn’t offer to make me a new one and charged us full price. We told them was our firs time eating there & will be last time. All I can say is try giving some customer service to your customers. Now I know why Cafe 25/35 across the street has a TON of customers abs this place does not! We will NEVER go back.

The absolute BEST omelet in Buckeye! (I had the 'Garbage' omelet). Fresh ingredients that you could tell what you were eating. Biscuits and gravy was excellent and the service was super friendly and fast to boot!! Will definitely be back!

We come here on a regular basis. Their food is amazing, their staff is superb. Everybody will check on you and make sure you’re taken care of through your entire meal. And you get really big portions as you can see I cut my sausage up to add to my gravy. Don’t judge. Love you have a good day. This place is awesome and if you want really good food and great service and an even better atmosphere go here lol I think that rhymed.

Homestyle comfort food. Delicious, great prices and the staff are very friendly. Corned beef hash was my favorite. Coffee was nice and hot. All in all . We will be returning.

Highly recommend!! Small mom and pop feel but the food is very flavorful. The salsa at the beginning wasn’t hot at all with fresh flavors. I ordered the country fried steak with potatoes and it’s one of the best I’ve had!! Not super coated or fried but amazing. We will be back for sure!

WARNING: What are you were about to read is a very true event. Please be warned.
Have you ever had an event so Dyer that you may have nightmares. Now Substitute that with dinner that you went out and paid for. If I had to describe the cheeseburger that I paid $12 for, the best way to describe it is the events of 9/11 to the brave firemen. This burger was Life-changing to the point where I am now debating on never eating out again. For a Mom and pop café I felt like the love that I was looking forward to was obsolete and I was abandoned at a young age metaphorically with this burger. Very bland to the point of no return. I’m only rating this 2 out of the 5 stars due to the family being nice.

The chilaquiles’ red sauce is made with guajillo chilies, authentic Mexican taste. It’s the first time I have chilaquiles made with guajillo chilies at a restaurant; they just needed the authentic Mexican cheese instead of the cheddar. We returned one pancake that was over cooked, but otherwise my family said they were delicious. Cozy restaurant with great service.

The best Friday Fish Fry in Arizona!
For nearly 11 years I have been searching for great fish in the Phoenix area. For the most part this has lead to one disappointment after another… I then found the Mandy,s chain of fast food fish and it was good… the catfish was good but with the cornmeal batter it was not real tasty and very dry… but that has all changed now! Nana and Tatas has the best catfish in the city and likely in the state! Made to order and super fresh and tasty! Plus their sides are totally YUM! Great homemade potato salad with a unique kick, incredible coleslaw and the fish and it’s seasoning is #1… You have got to try them out for any meal… but plan on the Friday Fish Fry for a night to remember! You’ll see me there most every Friday evening… I’m “Fishing” on Fridays at Nana and Tatas in Buckeye, AZ for the best Fish around!

I absolutely love this place!! The food is so yummy!! The homemade flavor with the special ingredient (LOVE) that only Abuelita's have!! Everything I tried was amazingly good!! Yessenia is so joyful, carismatic and respectful. She made us feel so welcomed and the service was beyond great. I definitely recommend this place 100%!!

We ordered for the first time about a week or so ago and we're happy that the food received was good. My husband & I decided to order again for delivery using DoorDash and I'm sorry to say, but there was a piece of metal in my food, upon inspection it looked like a twist tie you would find on a loaf of bread. I can say that this has definitely put me off from ordering or going in to eat for the foreseeable future.
