I went to buy bra's. I found 3 that would nothing fit and was a reasonable price as they were all in a clearance area (per the sign on top). I got the clearance price on only 1 bra. The rest were marked down but not at the clearance price. I did go ahead and purchased them, I returned them when I found i could purchase the same platex bra's for $7.00 less elsewhere.

The young man Jacob is the best. I was having a hard time with my 1 year old niece and he helped me and made sure I got everything I needed. He even offered to get me a basket but I didn't need one. Then he tried to play with her because she kept running around. Having someone like him working there I will shop there more often.

JC Penney's has got some awesome Christmas decorations out (@ 15% off the price tag!)!! And as always, it has some of the best gifts for all of the family members! Adorable pajamas, matchy- matches for kids to parents! Costume zip-front onesies for your big kid in Grinch, and other Characters!
For the home they have lovely hand towels for the kitchen--or bath. They have really spectacular sets of the popular flameless, pillar candles, that are operated by a remote control device. Some sets were red, so pretty!
They also have several sizes of pre-lighted, Birchwood branches that come in boxes, straight, ready for you to bend the branches to suit the placement of the arrangement. One hint: you will need to place them in a sturdy container and surround the Birch trunk base with sand, river rocks or green and red glass to make it topple proof! It'll be gorgeous though!
Penney's has LOTS of very pretty wreaths, some are more fancy than others. You can choose the price that suits you from $20-$30.00-- less the 15% discount!
They've also got some really cute ornaments of all kinds. These are good if you have a work or church party where you exchange ornaments.
Also on the first floor are lots of great kitchen appliances that you may need to gift yourself if you need something new to help prepare for the Christmas goodies and feasts!
On the 2nd floor is the part where I spend most of my time (& money😉💄) Yes, it's Sephora! Sephora has a lot of the AWESOME sets out now by every makeup line and Sephora itself puts out kits that allow you to try some try-it to full sized lipsticks, or mascaras.
One kit is just all Nude lip colors! It includes a full sized Huda matte lip color, and 6 smaller size Nude lipsticks from top makeup brands.
In the aisle outside of Sephora, you'll find several of the special items offered right now. Lots of Shimmer in Gold or Silver for the Holidays! Special sets by Philosophy, which always produces wonderful skincare products. The bath Cream can be used to shampoo your hair, as bubble bath or on a net loofah to scrub your skin! It's 3 products in 1 bottle! That also allows you to layer your scent throughout your bath, then soften your damp skin with the same fragrance in the body lotion and finally, topit off by spritzing the fragrance in a cologne on your pulse points before you go out the door to work!

Very few employees working the floor. I had to search hard to find someone to answer a question. Even after finding someone, she didn't seem very familiar with the store. No real assistance provided.

When I checked out (after again searching for someone at to do that), they were real happy to take my money.

On a more positive note, there were some great sales prices, and the spring arrivals are lovely.

I recently visited the NLR store to purchase a comforter set, and towels, I found what I needed without any help, but noticed when I got to the only register open, a black lady showed up watching me, not helping at all with customers, I knew then what was going on, then a white lady showed up tag the black lady, and said I got this, she then started folding clothes waiting on me, so my turn I paid for my merchandise and walked out extremely upset, the next day I returned to exchange 2 towels for different colors, went back to the register, she told me to go get what I needed, I was then followed by a white guy with long hair, who made it obvious he was following me,I returned to the register where I asked for the store manager, she called on the radio, and he approached I asked him was he the store manager, he replied yes, but by that time, the real manager showed up he walked off reported all this to her, she apologized for me being treated like that, and she was very sorry it happened, but I will never shop with JCPENNY in NLR again and if I didn't want my merchandise so badly I would have taken it all back

I must say what part is it not to like about JC Penney's. If I was to describe all of the departments and major detail I would say if you was to go to your favorite place back home like friends, family things like that I was saying the beauty Shop would be my favorite sister's room. I say that the jewelry Imperfections perfume store will be my mom's room. also was saying the furniture area would definitely be my dad's. Yeah, jc sweet penny. Love Yall ❤️ 💕

Slow check out clerks and not enough of them. I'm talking about extremely slow. Sad because I usually like their products. I ended up walking out without purchasing.

They con you into buying a ring. Then the care plan. Then don’t hold up to their end of the deal. Then when you call and talk to the supervisor about your new fiances ring, they interrupt you, they are rude and don’t hear you out. They laugh at you. And say that YOU are twisting their words around. She rubbed it in my face that she went out of her way to help us…..I’m sorry you had to do that for a customer. The supervisor over “Fine jewelry” is nothing shy of rude crude and socially unacceptable! She doesn’t deserve her position if she is going to talk to customers that way! And now I’ve been on the phone for 30 minutes trying to get ahold of the store manager and she keeps picking up the phone to avoid her getting in trouble. I’ve spent beyond way too much money with JCP and I can assure you i will never step foot in not only this location, but any of the others for that matter because obviously they are ok with how they let their supervisors talk to customers! I’ll make sure to spread the word about this location! And at the end of all this…..I’m still an unhappy customer whose issue wasn’t fixed.

Bought clothes here, and I asked the clerk if I could return it even if I wear it, and was told as long as I have the tag I can return it (within 60 days). I wore and washed one outfit and returned it, no problem. Another day I tried to return another outfit and was asked if I had worn and washed it, and I said yes. Was told I couldn't return it because of this. Nobody was rude, but I don't appreciate being given the wrong information

Just spent the better part of 30 minutes going through the phone options to speak with a person. After multiple attempts with multiple departments, I was unable to get a single person to answer the phone. I find this odd due to the fact this company has struggled in recent years, yet they seemingly can't be bothered to answer the phone for potential customers.

I can always go to JCPenney & find what I'm looking for and find a bargain or two as well. I've never been there & was not greeted by someone or asked if I needed any help. Even if there is a line at the checkout counter I don't mind waiting because I know the cashier will be courteous & professional.

We purchased both boots for $50 I thought it was a very good deal considering the brown boots with $150 regular price and the gray boots for about $60 for regular price. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. If you're looking for some good deals I would go to JCPenney's at the McCain Mall.

JCP is a pale shadow of its former self as a company, and while I'm rooting for it to make a comeback, the truth is that it's a sinking ship that's taking on water and listing sharply. The store at McCain Mall is better presented and organized than many other locations, with its home store being exceptional post-renovation, but the rest of the store just, like many of the remaining locations, seems out of date and a little depressing.

The central register hub for checkouts is frustrating, as it can make finding someone to help on the floor a bit challenging. There are deals to be had at JCP, which is positive for consumers, but the fact that the company relies now on its reputation as a discount retailer to drum up business doesn't exactly inspire confidence in its viability going forward.

This is a real good location. Every worker who walked by, acknowledged me, smiled, and was very nice. The store was also completely stocked, organized, and clean too. The associate who helped me was really friendly, knew what she was doing, was real familiar with the store, including the sales, the items available, and information about certain items too.

While we were able to fine what I needed, the trip was a disappointment. There was nobody to assist on the floor. The fitting room smelled like feet, and the entire store needs a paint job. When we went to one register the clerk decided to leave to flirt with a man (she completely left the checkout area). We went to another checkout register. There was nobody in line. A family came from the clothes and the clerk looked at me and said, "Please step back. I want to check them out first." We were a diffrent race than the clerk and that family, so maybe that had something to do with it. I am very disappointed. J.C. Penny is not what it use to be.

Shopping at JCP is not as great as it could be. No sales person to be found,not a good or larger selection of nice dresses. McCain mall store is not any better than Little Rock store. At LR store there are a couple of very kind and helpful sales associates.

Not the same as it use to be. I bought some costume jewelry next to finer jewelry and they would not ring up my order and their was no one there being helped.. I had to walk around a ways to find a register and wait behind 2 people with a load of clothes. Then they rang up one of my purchases twice and I had to go back to the register and wait to have them fix it.
I use to buy all my kids clothes there in the 80s and 90s.. they always had good sales. They had some sales going on just not as many sales associates to help.

Some of the merchandise was not neatly stacked for easy selection. Fashions aimed mostly for younger shoppers. If I'm buying jeans, I want new looking jeans, not something that is faded, worn, or torn. I will take care of that myself.

They should be out of business. Went there looking for sheets. Very small selection. All the prices are wrong and they won't honor the prices that are advertised. After choosing two different sets that had a display of them marked 50-70% off I am told oh no not those the second set came from an end app clearly marked at $58.98 and I was again told oh no not these. I told them never mind I don't want your products I walked out. Yes I could have stayed and probably got it for the price they were marked buy my life is to short.
