New Acton Market

My experience here has been great overall. Yes it’s pricey but it’s understandable it is a local business and getting merchandise out to Acton alone must be expensive. However, I recall and won’t forget the kind owner. The owner once saw me looking for an item but I couldn’t find it, he then asked me what I was looking for. We both found it online together on his computer in the office and he said he would order it and it would come in a few days. I don’t know but for him to do that much was so cool because it’s not anything super needed at many stores it’s used to make desserts, it’s like a cream. Sure enough I went back and found it at the store. The moment reminded me about the great things about living in a close community and town working together. I go here for essentials and pizza. They have lots of variety of things it’s pretty good and the employees are really nice.

The absolutely most friendly and helpful little town market. Although prices are a little higher than the bigger market's it's worth the extra prices of items to have this store that is convenient and has most the products one may need at any time and I might add the employee's are always friendly and helpful. The produce dept always displays fresh vegetables and fruit. The deli staff is always friendly and ready to assist anyone. It's a place out of the past, where customer service is high priority and they all seem to remember you when you come in.

Always fresh Produce. Great, freshly made pizza and sandwiches at a Great Price! Fast and friendly service, always willing to help you find what you are looking for. It's always well stocked. I do not drink, but there is a great selection of wine and Spirits as well. Well stocked Pet Food aisle with lots of choices. Coffee Bar and fresh bakery products are also available. Affordable Prices for a Small Town Store too! 5* because there isn't a 10 option!

This store was HUGE, for such a small town didn't think they had full size grocery store. Service was good, and inventory of products were mostly filled. Overall this location had wide variety of products, and cold 🥶 items were very cold. So if your driving on the 14 fwy and you see a town acton pop up look for this location to stock up on your next road trip.

I usually really like this place but PLEASE check dates. I had to get some emergency food for my sick cat and didn't realize until I got home their wet cat food was 6 months expired.

This is a wonderful market that includes a deli/meat market and a coffee and pastry kiosk. I just built the most delicious, fresh and healthy avacado and cheese sandwich with a bunch of everything for a great price and also left with a peach pie baked in house!! So good!

They have a special raspberry mocha right now, 2/2/23, that is delicious!!

My wife ask me to pick up a quart of whipping cream and a cake mix. One other customer in store. When the checker rang up the items I was shocked $10.39 a for a quart of whipping cream (it is 5 dollars at any other store). Cake mix was normal only one on shelf (not the right type) price higher than grocery store but not outrageous. The checker rang up the items and just pushed them down the counter and started helping the next customer, didn’t bag the item or even ask if I wanted a bag. Poor customer service, and outrageous prices, this is a recipe for a dwindling business model. My wife was shocked when I told her how much the whipping cream was. We will not be going back to the New Acton market again (10 year customer). If I can’t find items at the original Acton market, I will drive to Palmdale it will cost less in gas and I will find all of the items I need.

Love my hometown market. It's just a bit expensive. I would love to come here more but I just can't spend that much all the time. I use it more for an emergency when I need something quickly.

Unbelievable. I've been in this market quite a bit and never experienced what I felt was a bit of discrimination . I get it every store has different policies but what I don't understand is why I can't buy myself an alcoholic beverage if I'm being accompanied by an underage family friend. I don't know in what right of mind did the cashier think I was buying beer for a 12 year old, absolutely ridiculous. If a mother buys a bottle of wine but is accompanied by her 15 yr old daughter is the cashier going to demand both of the ID's as well and deny her the purchase of the bottle as soon as she finds out the daughter is underage .I've been in with my younger brother, with my cousin all underage buying a bottle and have NEVER been denied the purchase. I drove straight to the Old Acton Market made the same purchase, and had NO PROBLEMS , I got greeted , and even had a little conversation and a laugh . The cashier there was actually very nice and made no fit about me being accompanied by a 12 yr old , she didn't see the color of our skin or race but 2 customers making a simple purchase.

My friend has land in this area ,so we decided to check it out. It was a 2 hour drive from where we live.Very beautiful hillside canyon homes. Population is low ,almost has an old town vibe.We drove around but was having trouble finding his piece of land. We stopped at this market ,it was fully stocked ,a pretty big store, looking from the outside you would think it was not as big, Cashier was nice,people just minded their own.We weren't there to make trouble just looking for his land. A beautiful place to live! Nice scenic route!

Employees can be rude at times. Family has been living up here since 91. One visit I unknowingly bought rotten cheese that was within the best by dates. Lack of diversity among the employees reflects the attitude of the town.

This is the only market we use when we're in the area... probably out of habit. It's a very well-stocked market. They even have a butcher counter. All kinds of alcoholic beverages. Some household necessities and personal products, too. My ONLY complaint is the prices are double what I pay in other chain stores. A bagged salad was $6.99! So was a jar of salad dressing. And a gallon of milk was $6.29! Acton is about halfway between Santa Clarita and Palmdale, so it shouldn't cost THAT much for deliveries.

My parents recently moved to Acton. I love this store!! They have competitive prices for a small store (obviously don’t have franchise buying power) and a great selection of organic items and fresh produce. Gus and the staff in the meat department are all incredibly helpful and friendly. I will also HIGHLY recommend their made to order pizzas.. order in advance, but absolutely the BEST pizza in town. All the staff at the store are friendly helpful and the store is always clean and well stocked. As far as a little town store goes.. I give them an A++. This is how a store should be run and they treat you like family.

Their prices are outrageous! The only reason I gave them a 4 star rating is because they make THE most delicious pizza & for a very reasonable price. Also their bakery is like heaven on earth, everything is spectacular but the German chocolate cake is to die for! I also recommend their cannolis, they are divine!

There are many great things about the new Acton market, such as variety of choices for a smaller town, reasonable prices, helpful employees. The reason I’m only giving the market 3 stars is because the last time I went it, there were three different adult males not wearing masks. One was coughing without covering his mouth. I have to interact with people who are immune compromised and not having mask requirements enforced in a public market at this time is dangerous. I would definitely give them a higher rating but other people in the community who are trying to keep people they care about and themselves as healthy as possible should be aware that wearing masks inside the market is not enforced.

They have what you need here. I find it is a bit pricy almost like a Vons or Pavillion market. It's very clean organized and well stocked. The staff is great, the parking is okay.

Worker stuff very bad attitude with the members I'm talking personally with me manager of the resort his name Brian very good person very helpful the stuff worker and my members were 2012 they asked me to leave the library or center I try to get internet connected to call emergency call my mom she is in the hospital and chained lady asked me to leave because of coved 19 and I have the most on my face the campground this is first time I've been here it is very very dusty section B trees too law can crash and damage the roof of my fifth wheel and I bet you a thousand 12 equity home life is style they will never pay a dime for my damage I took a picture and I mentioned this to the lady I don't know what your name she's blonde lady over 50 years old again the campaign for me There's the dusty dusty any car pass he sitting outside you're gonna have 2 or 3 bound of dust on your food or a drink or on yourself

They have most anything one might need but the take out pizza is better then any other pizzas from the larger pizza places I won't name names . The new Acton market also prices their pizza at a very affordable price. I would definitely recommend trying it you won't be disappointed!

Excellent market. We stayed at the Soledad Canyon Thousand Trails RV Resort and this market was a very nice surprise. The pizza is good, the meat prices fair and items were fresh. Mask requirements enforced.

Oh my goodness! The staff at this grocery store really made me feel at home. The prices were really high but I get the reason why. Yes, I will be back. Got a peach and mango smoothie which was refreshing.

My dog loves devouring some of the yummy pizzas we buy from the acton market. He will never eat anything from the Original Acton Market across the street. Just the sight of anything from the Original Acton market is enough to make him sick🤮🤢
