Hello everyone, I was here recently, for the first time, and was pleasantly pleased. I ordered a burger, but unknowingly it turned out to be with artificial meat, I asked to change it, aaand, they did it. Handsome guys, I am very grateful to them for this!! Thank you!!!

My mom comes here often as its her favorite fast food spot, so every now and then for years ill get something too occasionally. This "habit" has consistently made garbage, not fully put together food for as long as i can remember. Always forgetting sides and sauces. And the food, for some reason, is always cold. I do not remember ever having a fully hot burger from this location. No other habit location is as bad as this one and its been this way for years. Whoever owns this particular habit needs to do something about it. Bring in trainers from more successful location in SB, hold your cooks more accountable for the food they make, because the quality of food here is abysmal. Ive worked in food service for a decade so im not just some Karen who is complaining for no reason. Ive been behind a flat top grill making food for hungry customers, Ive taken countless orders standing behind a register. The standard of quality at this location is shameful and the cooks/managers should absolutely be ashamed of the below sub-par food they make and willingly serve to their customers. Do better.

The Santa Barbara Char is soooo good! All of their burgers are good, as are their onion rings. I'm not a French fry person but my husband likes them. Their shakes are really good, coffee is my favorite. Mocha is a bit too sweet for me. I love the drink selection with the different fruit flavors.

I had lunch at The Habit today. On my way to sit outside, I tripped and dropped my entire tray of food. The Habit staff helped me clean it up and replaced my lunch free of charge. Such kindness and amazing customer service!

My dog Buddy and i took a little day trip and we stopped here for lunch. everything was superb staff excellent. A nice bonus it is in a nice tree lined mall. It felt like we were in a tiny village. This added a nice touch to our little trip.

For a great salad, we recommend the Santa Barbara Cobb. My wife gets it without the blue cheese, but I get it exactly as is. I think it is terrific.

Weve eatin at several over the years, great variety of foods always tasty. Love the BBQ chicken lettuce wrap sandwich. Great onion rings and tempura green beans. Burgers are always good too.

They always make sure to prepare you meal properly. Of course the food is great, and what i love the most is they never rush your meal, so you know you are getting a meal to their standards. Plenty of shakes and kids menu options, and never forget that they have vanilla ice cream on a cone for $1.

My salad was fresh and the dressing not overly sweet, which I appreciated. The food was ready very quickly and the employee who took my order was quite friendly. My only real complaint is that my tuna was rather overcooked to the point of being dry and chewy.

Exelent crew . Ive work at restaurants so I know how it feels when you get a last minute order after a long day . I was visiting Malibu by the time I got some free time to find food everything was close . Except for the Habit I was hesitant to order so late but I was really hungry an I know the Habit always has great food . when I arrive everyone was so welcoming even tho it was 5 minutes to closing . I was with my Huskies and they where welcome into the restaurant as well. Thank you to the locals for being so welcoming with my huskies means the world to me . And thank you the Habit for the Amazing food and my milkshake . You guys are Amazing thanks for the love .

Came here for the first time and was helped by 2 works. Julia and Eric. They were very attentive to my order and made sure it was correct. If it werent for these 2 employees I dont think I would go back. They really made an unpleasant (the parking lot and people in it think they own the road or lot) visit a nice one.

So ate the Agoura Hills location, downhill for sure. Last time I ate at a Habit was 2018, Thousand Oaks location. Very very different now. I will just point the major differences now, the burger patty was closer to fast food thin rubber than the char I am was use to. The teriyaki char had no pineapple on it, no teriyaki sauce anywhere on it. Just a side of teriyaki sauce. Then the side... Onion rings were thin and way different than before. These use to be thick and crispy, barely fit in the big ranch cups they use to have.. Now they look like Burger King onion rings. After reading, Yum! Brands bought Habit and took it downhill. I am going to Santa Barbara for an original char from the original owners.

If you have never had the Santa Barbara Char... I dont know what to tell you, but you are MISSING OUT! Greatest burger EVER! Be ready for a food coma after though. Highly recommend the sweet potato fries also.

Great burgers. Good quality beef. No ground chuck or miscellaneous bits. Standard burgers are cooked to medium retaining moisture and flavor.

Awsome burgers and fries. Had the Santa Barbara burger. Fresh avocado, grilled onions, cheese add bacon. Side of onion rings. Throw a couple of onion rings on the burger...perfect. Prompt and friendly service. Easy to order at the counter and they text you when its ready.

This Habit has the best staff and customer service. I had placed a delivery order through uber eats and the driver never showed up to pick up the order. I called the restaurant 10 minutes before they closed and they were kind enough to wait for me and they prepared a new meal and gave me the meal for free. They do know how to treat their customers. Definitely coming back to this restaurant. Thank you to the manager and his staff. You guys are amazing!

I seriously love this place. I ve been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. The burgers are great! (Great alternative to in n out) shakes are tasty and the fries are good. Also you gotta try the Santa Barbara style it s very unique and very filling. The customer service is also great they are always friendly, the service is quick, and they have never messed up my order. Thanks Habit! You guys rock!

Ordered online and thought I added some garlic fries to my order. Apparently I didnt add it to my order, and when I came to pickup the manager comped the fries. Really appreciate this during a busy lunch hour. Will keep this exchange in mind when Im thinking about what to get for lunch.
