I love this place. So European, it feels like you are somewhere in Italy. Very friendly staff. Most delicious pastries and it's freshly make here everyday! Birthday cakes a phenomenal too! Their boxes to-go looks so beautiful. I go here a few times a week.

This last time the man working gave us a free sample which was so sweet. I also am a huge fan of their cakes. They do have a slightly high price tags but they are all incredibly decadent and packed full of flavor

Carrara’s is one of my favorite places to go to! It’s one of the most authentic Italian cafes I’ve been to out here. The coffee is so good and the pastries don’t just look pretty, but they’re actually delicious. Everyone who works here is so nice and goes above and beyond! I wish I knew everyone’s names but from going there as often as I do I can honestly say Tallin, Danica, Alir, Sarah and really just the whole staff is so sweet and they make you feel so welcomed! Alir makes some of the best lattes I’ve ever had and Tallin decorates the foam on the lattes and the desserts in a beautiful way! I love everything about this place and would highly recommend :)

I’m so glad to find this place! I don’t like sweets , but this place is definitely worth to check! I tried few different desserts and totally fall in love! Quality of pastries has significantly decrease, the cheesecake doesn't even taste like a blueberry cheesecake anymore, it is more like a blueberry gummy. Not worth $8.00+, service is terrible too. I ordered a couple of things that I was charged for but were not placed on the box. It wasn't even busy.

Yum! Great pastries and now they serve gelato (made in house). The coffee beans they use are good quality. Not bitter or fruity, it’s just right!
Staff is nice.
Wish the interior and seating can get an upgrade and be more clean and comfy. Besides that, it’s a wonderful cafe.

They had good coffee and had 4 or 5 gluten free options in the individual dessert case, which is so nice in a bakery like this, items were labelled too. My mom had this small cake that was like a chocolate mousse - it was really good. I had a small red velvet cake, which was a little dry but otherwise good. For GF there was also cheese cake and a regular chocolate cake I believe.

It used to be really good. The portions now are really small, they have raised their prices and the food is just average. The menu has not changed for a long time. It is ok for lunch, but not what it used to be.

Instead of concentrating on providing rice experience on to go box. Concentrate on keeping things simple. Putting 2 items in big box to show off the shop name ruined the product and lost appetite. Added photo might help.

One piece of pastry costs $8 because of this box only I guess.

We visited during the heat wave, or maybe it's just summer heat!

The medium gelato cup gets you 3 flavors! It's so fun to select 3 flavors, you don't have to choose just one. The quality of the gelato and sorbetto is very high, great ingredients and the flavors are amazing.

I got the passion fruit cookie, salted caramel and strawberry rose gelato. I loved them all!

The two kids also loved their gelato. The gelato is served with a beautiful wafer cookie that is thin and crisp, and really makes the presentation wonderful.

It was a hot day, a busy day for gelato, the bathroom could have used tidying up, though it was clean.

Thank you for a great experience, our new favorite spot we will definitely be returning!

Since I have wanted to go to Italy for several decades and never been able, this is the closest thing I can get to besides Ferraras little Italy in New York. Still doesn’t taste as good as the real Italian bakeries of NY, NEBO or Chicago, but close enough and I’ll take it! Sfogliatelle is really authentic here! Can’t wait to come back and try some of the coffee drinks. The raspberry shortbread cookies are just to die for. It is very expensive here so just for a special occasions

Nice pastry shop. Coffee too. So much to choose from!

They served 12oz cappuccinos so I opted for a cold brew with oat milk. I would have enjoyed it more if the oat milk had not been flavored. I did not like the flavor but drank half my beverage anyway.

Tried a plain croissant which gets a fail from me. Cost $3.00. Not a bit of flakyness. Was mushy. Looked a lot better than it tasted.

Tried one if their pastries, had a chocolate filling. It was tasty but at close to $8.00 I wouldn't do it again. Didn't find it that special.

The box and presentation was the best part. LOL

Would try again for a differnt choice.

The best coffee and desserts between Ventura and Woodland Hills, and perhaps much further.
Coffee - espresso, Americano, cappuccino, are all superb. They have real full cream, yes cream, available to make a hot dessert out of your Americano ... as you expectantly dissolve the golden crystals of raw sugar in it.

The desserts are simply heaven on earth, showering your taste buds with divine sensations, and making you glad to be alive.
.
Service is superb, and the manager, Talon, is the ultimate host and barrista - a 5 star experience.

Try their coffee and desserts well before you die, or head off to the Himalayas for your enlightenment!

Delicious spot that had yet to disappoint. The pastries are always fresh and delicious with fritteles being a favorite among my group. Went in the other night to get goodies since it was my birthday and everyone was happy with the selection.

These guys are top notch! I have walked into this place and the decor is amazing. The espresso beverages are incredible and so are their other menu items!

Just stopped by there the other day. Talen was helping me. I truly hope that he gets taken care of over there. He offers high quality customer service - very attentive and super awesome!

Stopped by because the coffee shop next door to them was closed down. Nice little spot that had coffee.

I tried to order a “flat white” with almond milk but they didn’t know how to make one which was ok because the regular latte they made me with regular milk was excellent. Customer service was excellent because they were willing to YouTube, how to make one but I just stuck to a latte.

I definitely recommend this spot I’d come back again. It’s a bit pricey but worth it for the flavor & right temperature that you get.

Fantastic, Italian family-owned, pastry shop and cafe with each member specializing/mastering in a different element of cuisine creation. The manager, Josh, is very kind and takes customer service seriously. He custom made an excellent flat white for me (see pic). Awesome selection of afternoon tea cakes and sweets with a very European feel. An example of the pastry artistry is the sfogliatelle with perfect layers of flaky heaven and a heavier-than-it-looks custard filling with orange zest and a subtle fragrance reminiscent of cardomon (last pic). Exquisite cake selection. Genesis, one of the employees, was also very kind. The Moorepark location has a full-fledged restaurant with an awesome menu. Check it out!

Really pricey! 6” cake for $30 😱. Also paid extra for writing on the cake and they didn’t even secure the piece of chocolate that the writing was on onto the cake, so it obviously moved in the box. Now it says “Ha birthday tyler.” Booo. For such an expensive cake, I would’ve liked to present to the recipient a proper “Happy Birthday!”

Espresso is delicious, really on point, and the most beautiful pastries I have ever seen, and not just your basics they're doing a deep dive into Italian delicacy. But also the tiramisu looked bomb and comes with a chocolate spoon. Will be back next time driving up the 101!

Had to step in to check out the pastries here, they look so good and was pleasantly surprised with the taste! Not sugared down like other places, I don't like overly sweetened pastries. Light and fluffy, a must try.
I took home the GOLOSA and BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE--> devine!!!
Can't wait to visit this spot again.

This is an example of a dying breed of eatery where an enormous amount of effort is given to making things authentic and more importantly delicious because they can be. Apart from the fact that tables aren’t cleaned often enough, I fully recommend going here for your pastry or coffee needs.

I love there fretellis and jonas but not into the mouse like ones. Good for a little treat now and then but a bit out of my price range for a whole meal...$13 for a ceasar salad.

Really enjoy the location of this pastry shop nestled in the Whizin Center. We had ordered the cappuccino, berry cheesecake and lemon mousse (I recommend this, see lemon picture). The cakes are amazing as well. We had it for my dad's birthday. The best part is it is affordable. This location has on site seating

Damn this place is awesome! Small hole in the wall bakery. Famous for a number of items such as the Max and the David. Both are amazing. The glaze on the Max is just amazing. Flakiness in the croissant is perfect. My favorite thing we had was the fresh ham and cheese croissant. Piping hot out of the over. It was the best I've ever had. Super impressed by it.

One of My favorite pastries. Everything I had are delicious and coffee is good too. I like assorted mousse cakes, dark chocolate with hazelnut on the top, white chocolate with rose berries, hazelnut pistachio, rum baba...... you also can have small bite size.
I always like to go back when I think about yummy pasties.

Overall a good place with good deserts. I’m really trying to grasp all of the outstanding reviews. Yes the service is good, the people who work here are great. The deserts are good, not crazy best I have ever had. Had the pistachio hazelnut tart/mousse/ cake(?) tonight and at best it was ok. Expected more, it was bland. Sorry.

Beautiful cakes in different sizes! They are semi freddo and are best 1 hour sitting outside of the freezer. They can even write a message on a white chocolate disc for a special occasion. The cakes are pricey and it took some time before someone came out from behind the counter to describe the different flavored cakes. Definitely check it out for the mini semi freddo at the bottom of the freezer case!

Awesome dessert in a clean environment. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the pastries so feel free to ask. It's pretty close to the freeway so it's nice to stop by and pick something up. I don't live in the area anymore but I still stop by now and then.

I am an espresso snob haven't gone to Starbucks for coffee in over a decade they make great espresso here and also have excellent desserts!
the girl behind the counter has been trained how to use the espresso machine not just handed a cup...

Finding this place was such a pleasant surprise. The owner was super friendly , the espresso was amazing... the pastries that we tried were all good.. It's such a quaint spot for enjoying coffee on a Sunday morning with friendly staff. I would def go back if I'm in the area.

A rum baba, 5 mini lindt cookies, torta del nonna, velina, and a cappuccino had me running in circles, dancing on tables, and doing the hokey-pokey. One of the highest ratings on Yelp can't be no slouch.

I went a little over-the-top with what I tried. Of course, it's for you -- not for me. All excellent. When I couldn't quite finish, a delightful gold box (from Italy, no less) wrapped it all up and made it special the next day.

It's perfect for a cup of fine coffee and a pastry or two. A bit of Italia is missing from the ambiance and the experience, but what lacks in the large space with few tables and a glow light makes up for it with amazing texture, big flavor, and quality ingredients.

This place is very yummy when it comes to desserts. We were on our way to Santa Barbara and my wife needed something to crave on! Yelp it! and We went and tasted all their popular desserts and pastries and OMG! So yummy! We will come back again since we live much closer now.

This is one of my favourite spots for Italian pastries. Oh sweet cheese!!! On my neverending quest for the best cannolis and sfogliatelle in Southern California, Carrara gets my vote on both fronts. My only fake complaint? Their cannolis are so tiny! But the shell is so delightfully crunchy, that maybe it is ideal to have a higher shell:filling ratio. Also, the service is hit or miss--I have been helped by super duper helpful and friendly and warm people and also by one somewhat curt person. That is a very minor thing though, because as long as the pastries stay consistently delicious, I'll keep coming back.

Can someone say Mousse? Im a sweetoholic! Anything that is mousse, or creamy is my weakness. Carrara Pastries will probably give me diabetes one day. I cant resist their pastries. I try to avoid this place but I live so close that I can smell the aromas at home. Anyways nothing more to say about this place other than its amazing.

The name of the pastries are funny, didn't catch their names or do we even know how to pronounce them. The cheesecake is ridiculous delicious! You have never tasted anything like this, creamy and the texture sooo yummy. I didn't like the young lady that attended to us, she had a nasty attitude, I really like their pastries, the place but Not their service.

Wow, it's like I took a vacation to Italy! Everything from the flour to the chocolate, and even the "to go" boxes are all imported from Italy. Needless to say, this place is a real find. The pastry chefs are truly brilliant!
