absolutely delicious food with huge servings. I ordered fesenjan which is my favorite stew. I couldn't figure how to upcharge to the albaloo polo so I ordered a side of it. A generous amount of rice came with each entree so it ended up taking us four days to finish all the rice!

Went here for lunch with my wife today. It was our first time visiting. We ordered the Maral plate for two (I’m unsure of the name exactly, but it gives you three types of rice, and 4 different types of meat. OMG…some of the most tender and flavorful meat and best rice ever. This is just amazing food, its super upscale without even trying to be. No crazy sauces, reductions, no gimmicks…just meat seasoned and cooked perfectly, so tender (chicken was like marshmallowy soft). The rice with the lima beans…just amazing. The lima beans turn to butter in your mouth. With pops of sweetness from the grilled tomatoes and currants in the rice. My wife sat there in silence for the longest time. I didn’t know if she was disappointed or having a food-gasm. Thankfully, It was the latter. Haha. The plate for two was sooo plentiful, we didn’t even make a dent in it. We had enough to bring home for like two more dinners, for sure. We have four kids, and I think this “plate for two” could easily satisfy everyone. Maral Cuisine…five stars! The servers were nice. Two thumbs up! 100%. If you are in this area, do your taste buds a flavor and give Maral Cuisine a visit.

We went there for the first time on Saturday to celebrate my birthday. I was enraptured by their Koubideh (ground meat) kebob and Joujeh (chicken fillet) kebob. I invite anyone who misses Iran's juicy, tender, and flavourful kebobs to try Maral cuisine.

Ordered 4 sandwiches for to go - my sandwich got cancelled cause they were out of vegetarian option so I didn’t get to taste it - 2 of the sandwiches made incorrectly- asked for no lettuce and both came with lettuce. Side orders were 2 fries and 2 salads I ended up with 3 salads and 1 fries.

Called and made a complaint and I was asked to go back to the restaurant! I’m sorry it’s 2024 you should be able to void a transaction.

Every time I get take out, they skimp SUPER hard on somag, butter, & onion & bread as if it’s 5$ each. To top it off they don’t put utensils at times so really you don’t get any service or proper due care as you should when going and getting food. This is a Persian restaurant, you can’t have a proper Persian meal with 1 butter & 1 somag . That’s not how this world works.

Very high quality food, service and atmosphere. I had the beef koobideh and rice, and the dinner was phenomenal. The service was really prompt and all of the food was fresh and delicious. Very reasonably priced and the portions were HUGE!

If you’re in the area I definitely recommend popping in for some amazing Persian food. As travellers from Toronto we were far from disappointed, in fact very impressed with the quality of food, the attentive service, the beautiful restaurant and even how quickly the food came out. If looking for a persian restaurant near Agoura Hills you will not be mad about this one!

Great food and service. My only criticism is the decor. I mean have at least one persian painting, statue or something. I just didn't understand the motif at all. They had this huge screen showing images of various destinations in Eutope and etc. I mean would be that hard to show images of Tabriz, Shiraz or some other scenery from Iran...something. The only thing Persian was the food, which was great but come on.

I come here a lot with my son for their brunch and bakery. Lately, I started to come in for dinner (Persian food) and wow! All their meats are so good! The rice is also great. Their staff are always very friendly and attentive. Love love love it thank you

Great place to be for authentic Persian food. The dining room has plenty of seats for large group and family gatherings.

Had a great coworker lunch in Dec 2023 and ordered 2 family dishes to share with 7. We all had enough chicken and beef and ended up with 3 tofu to-go boxes of rice and chicken to take home. Very nice and fresh food and we love the 4 varieties of rice served there.

We are visiting from Chicago. Came here for dinner. We ordered lamb kabobs and sheekh kabobs. The portion was large. The food was amazing. Not too salty, oily, or dry. It was just perfect. The pita was okay- best eaten if hot otherwise got too dry

We had Maral cater our 3 parties, 3 weeks in a row with guests ranging from 20-35 people for each party. The food quality was consistently excellent. They delivered the food within 5 minutes of the delivery time which is more than acceptable. Highly recommend them for your next event.

We drove last night with my family from Palmdale to this restaurant. It was worth it. We got to sit outside. Service was excellent. Food was delicious. I told them it was my first time there and the server was super nice helping us with the menu. I forgot to ask his name but I noticed he was the only one with all black uniform. We also got pastries to go from the bakery. Even though they were busy with a party, they managed to make us feel welcomed. Thank you for great service.

By far one of my favorite places in the area. My niece had it catered for her wedding and the food was a big success. My family and I decided to try going to the restaurant and we were NOT disappointed, staff was great and food was amazing as well. We definitely recommend Maral!!!

5/14/2023 update. Be sure to sit outside if you want a great dining experience. Also, try the trout. My favorite though is the chicken with cherry rice.

Really delicious food in Agoura Hills, and you have to try the chicken #65 which is the Albaloo Polo (Cherry Rice). Gorgeous yellow and pink rice with sour cherries, grilled tomato. (Watch out for the jalapeno though.). Chicken is moist and tender. Sit outside if you can for an even better experience, with a nice cool breeze. Try the lentil soup (comes with lunch) or choose the salad if you prefer. Me, I like the soup. Large portions, so be prepared to take leftovers home.

Maral Cuisine is one of my favorite local restaurants. I dine here at least one-two times a month. The service is outstanding, the food delicious. It is also conveniently located adjacent to a delicious bakery, which also has great delicacies.

Maral has fresh warm bread at your table as a starter while waiting for your food. Their lunch specials are a healthy alternative to fast food at comparable prices. Their lentil soup is outstanding and I usually order a separate to go order to take home with me in addition to my order at table.

Stopped in for an order of take out of cherry rice. It was very good and it had plenty of cherries. I would say for me, it is the second best cherry rice I have had at a Persian restaurant. It satisfied and hit the spot.

My favorite is the vegetarian #55 Maral Dish; their House Salad and dressing is so yummy. We usually get hummus to start and share with the larger family. The hot tea is also excellent. If with a few people they have a great sharing option with 3 meats and 3 rices.

I’ve been eating here for at least ten years. The food is excellent. I normally get the beef koobideh and my husband will get gheymeh, gormeh sabzi, or salmon. The staff is really nice. Alex is always friendly and welcoming. I know I’ll never have a bad meal here. I’m currently eating left overs from lunch that are cold.. and they’re still SOOOO good! Persian, is my fav middle eastern fare! Food was good. Priced alright too. Service could have been a tiny little bit better, (but I WAS there during the Holidays)...I personally, prefer LIGHTING, to be a tad lower/softer...for ambience. You don't want to feel like you're in a DINER, due to the lighting. But when I'm in the area, I'll be back!👍

Took the food Togo, got the boneless special, salmon, and two soups... The chicken was super dry in the special, the salmon was dry and pretty bland... the beef and rice were both excellent... The Sabzi soup was not too my liking (and I've had it lots of times were it was much much better) the eggplant soup was fantastic...

I have tried this place at least twice before. last time it was about 5 years ago and the other time it was before it changes name to marral cuisine.both times I was impressed with the food specially kabab barg ! so here is the problem , I just saw some one had left a review saying that he was charged twice and scammed! customers have no reason to lie, also other scenarios where the waitress was rude ..etc.. but that double charge just makes me sick and I am afraid to go to this place which I had planed to , so food quality is one thing but stealing from customers is a whole different thing. I wouldn't be going there, ever, even though I know that I can just pay by cash! I am about 34 miles away and I would have drove with friends to this place but its not going to happen!! this is horrible, by the way you'll never know who's credit card they are double charging , A COP MAY BE !!
I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't already been under investigation!

I highly recommend the chicken koobideh with salad & a side of salmon a la carte. I also tried the white fish entree and it was great. Also their lentil soup is amazing too with their small thin pieces of flat bread with butter.

Just be aware that the portions is massive, I would say one entree can probably feed two if you’re a small eater. Great Persian food spot with excellent customer service.

The hubby and I had dinner here before attending a concert in the area and really liked the friendly and prompt service, the food and the spaciousness of the indoor space. Our favorite was the appetizers and the wonderful rice dishes. Recommend!
