Our goal is to provide a unique and exceptional experience to our customers. All our drinks will be made on the spot with our exclusive tea leaves imported from Taiwan.
We have 12 different types of teas that we use a special espresso machine to freshly brewed. Each tea gives the drink a different feel.
Our drinks are customizable, giving our customer options to choose their own tea base, milk base and toppings.
Our drink options are designed to be pleasant for all age group. From original teaspresso, to milk tea, fruit tea, yogurt drinks and more.
We make most of the toppings in house, which is a difference maker, because it gives the drink a different feel and texture.
Ordered the Four Season Mountain Tea with 50% Sugar and 50% Ice. This is a strong tea with a mild bitter aftertaste. It’s quite pleasant if you’d like a strong tea flavor. The sugar and ice levels I chose were appropriate in my opinion. Service was relatively quick, likely this is not a common order so they might have had to create a new batch; I suspect their other more popular drinks have batches ready to go so orders may be ready sooner. Location is nicely designed with nice tea design touches, a decent amount of tables and chairs if you want to sit down or possibly have a study space. Location is in a high traffic area and there is free parking in a shared garage situated behind the store.

I ordered the Pouchung tea latte this weekend. The tea is simply stunning – the flavor is strong and delicious. It is hard to believe but it preserves certain tea fragrance that I could only find from tea brewed in a teapot. I order the tea with very light ice, so it stayed rich and did not get watered down. If you enjoy good tea, Formosa Aroma is definitely a worth-visiting place. This tea has quickly become a new favorite for me. Highly recommend to try!

Their tea is brewed with espresso machines, hence the prices.
The seasonal pink guava lime green tea was great. It was so refreshing on a hot day. The mango pomelo sago was good. The pomelo pulp made the drink sour, but citrus fruits don't bother me too much. Maybe it's better to get their tea drinks here.
Some tables here have outlets! They really thought of people using laptops/electronics here. Bathroom is in the back.

Thank you SUPER much AGAIN, Formosa Aroma.
You ALWAYS surprise me with DIFFERENT flavor of teas.
Now My new FAVORITE is Formosa Berry Sangria. Taste Grade A
It tastes like Hibiscus tea and added with fresh strawberry and other berries.
The atmosphere is ok but the space and seats are limited.
The cashier lady is always nice. (I encountered 2 different ladies and they bothare friendly)

There are many tea options and I would recommend the pouchong green tea as it had a strong tea flavor especially when ordered with 50% sugar. The four seasons tea was good with a lighter tea flavor. The tea is quite customizable. The server was very patient with any questions we had and the shop was clean with a great atmosphere to stop, sit, and talk.

Really nice boba shop that focuses on the tea aspect. They have a huge menu that can be a little overwhelming at first. I'd go with one of their popular recommendations as some of the descriptions of the teas are hard to figure out. I got the rose cream black tea, and it had a very fresh and fragrant cream that really stood out. We also got the pouchong green milk tea, which had a very strong tea flavor. The line was long but went pretty fast. The staff are pretty knowledgeable about the drinks and can help you find the one that fits you. It's always good to have a boba shop like this that is serious about the tea.

This is a very nice tea store that has a lot of aromas! You can select a particular tee and you can optionally add it if you want to make it into a milk tea! They offer several options for different milks available, including oat milk and premium options like organic milk! There's also an extensive topping list. I had the red tea milk tea and I added caramel to it! There's just a very good authentic tea flavor and it's probably one of the better milk tea options around this area!

I was really disappointed with my visit here on a Sunday afternoon . It took an unusually long time for the drinks to come out, even though the shop wasn’t too busy and the staff that make drinks either looked confused or laughing while making my order. When I looked around, the place seemed poorly maintained – tables weren’t cleaned, the floor was sticky, and the counters looked messy. For the price they charged, I expected a cleaner and more efficient experience. Not sure I’d come back

Tried to make a phone order, but was immediately put on hold by the girl on the other line. As I'm waiting, I hear her taking orders from several different customers. After being made to wait for ten whole minutes, I hang up and try calling again. The line is busy, of course. But what's insane is that it stays busy for another ten or so minutes. This girl was going to make me wait twenty minutes on the phone as she tended to in-person orders first! What's the point of phone orders then? They need to fix their system.

This used to be my go-to boba spot, but it’s really been going downhill lately. It seems like they hired new staff, and now nothing tastes the same. I ordered a white peach iced tea with light ice, but it came filled to the top with ice. Then, I ordered an Iron Buddha tea with regular ice and got none at all. It tastes very water down at all, my daughter was picking up my order and saw them adding water into the tea... I’ve given them many chances, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

I’m willing to try this place again, but it wasn’t a great experience. It was kind of chaotic inside and the way the counters were set up was a little weird and there was nowhere good to wait for your order. Just subjective opinion.
I got the caramel pudding tea. The tea itself was lacking. It was pretty watered down tasting to me. I didn’t finish it as it didn’t seem worth the calories. The caramel on the bottom was pretty good but there could’ve been more. Pudding had a good texture.

Went for the first time with friends after dinner and was amazed to see how well this place was run. It was organized, and the menu was very well done.
They have their full menu by the entrance in case there is a long line. Plenty of seats are available and my guesstimate is it accommodates 30-50 people inside.
You can make your own boba milk tea too! On top of that, you can also choose from their best sellers on the digital signage if you are overwhelmed.
Restroom is clean too and smells fresh. I went to the restroom after ordering and by the time I got out, my drinks were ready.
I highly recommend this place.

I wanted to like this place but it was so mid. I got the wintermelon milk with no adjustment (100% ice, 100% sweet). It just tasted like super watery condensed milk with the barest hint of wintermelon as an aftertaste. Too much ice, but that's on me, I'll specify light ice next time. Service was meh, and it was super muggy and hot inside. Their AC needs help. Not worth coming to this place especially if I'm paying $6+ per drink.

To be perfectly honest, most good tea leaves are meant to be brewed and served hot to bring out their flavor. While its refreshing to enjoy a perfectly mixed fruity iced tea, I am pretty sure the quality of the tea leaf is irrelevant in this kind of drink. Having said that, this place does serve perfectly mixed fruity iced tea of many tempting varieties that taste good and refreshing especially on a hot summer day. Also doesn't hurt is the tea room nice decoration with buckets of exotic tea leaves on display that most likely will never be used on your drink.

One of my favorite tea places in SGV! There are variety of options of tea! (Oolong, jasmine, black, etc.) you can also customize your own dairy/non dairy option. The boba is standard, chewy and soft.
There are several indoor seating, but does get fill up quick. Sometimes there is a short line, but moves quickly.

Drinks are good, but this is not a good place to do work. The workers aren't friendly, they play loud music, and they are super loud in the kitchen—beeping alarms go off frequently and they constantly blend drinks.

Love that they offer at least 1 caffeine-free type of tea (Rooibos Tea). Possible wifing space (bring your laptop, study here). Only maybe 1 or 2 small table seating with outlet access.
$7ish for a Rooibos Caffeine-Free Tea with almond milk and boba, 30% sweet, regular ice amount. The 30% sweet was a still a bit too sweet for me which I should have expected because I chose almond milk vs oat milk. Boba was fresh, chewy and soft.
Free parking in the garage.
Located in the same plaza as Lunasia.

Heard about how great the tea and toppings here are so came here to try while I was in the area. I ordered the Sea Salt Foam Jasmine Green Tea. The menu and pricing is a bit different from other boba places in how you get charged for almost everything in the drink- from the milk (in a milk tea) to each topping you add. It's like a build your drink format. They do have some drinks already set so you could choose that, but you can also edit the tea for that too. The drink came out to cost $7!
The line to order wasn't that long when we came but it did get long once we got in line. The service was alright, not super friendly staff. Drinks were ready in less than 5 minutes too. The sea salt foam tasted different than other places and the jasmine tea was also more aromatic and strong. I should not get milk tea with the sea salt foam next time though. The portion was normal sized, but small for the price.
I could kind of see why the drink costs that much but to be honest, it wasn't exactly super special to cost that much. I would rather spend a few dollars less to get a similar tasting sea salt foam tea. I am curious about some of their other drinks and topping but not enough to go again if I am not in the area. I would recommend just giving it a try while you are in the area.

My family brought us here while we were visiting LA, and the wait for the boba was pretty long, but it was worth the wait! I love good tea so I was so excited to see different oolong teas from different regions of Taiwan offered. I ordered the Oriental Beauty milk tea with 50% sugar level. My sister got the Mango Sago Pomelo and she loved it. It’s comparable to Yifang’s mango sago pomelo! My husband got an oolong tea with cheese foam and he looooved it. My kids got the brown sugar milk with 0% added sugar. I wish they would open up a branch in DC/Maryland! I already crave it.

The crème brûlée iced tea with jasmine green tea and boba was good. The tea itself had a good strong tea flavor, and the boba had a good texture. I loved watching them torch the crème brûlée top. The ordering and waiting portion of the visit though was really rough. It was extremely busy and crowded. I ordered through Uber Eats, which seemed to help cut down on the wait time as the in-person line was out the door. However, our drink definitely was not ready when promised, and it was also difficult to initially confirm whether or not the order was even received. Glad I tried, unsure if I would return. Also, I’d recommend regular sugar levels for these drinks. I got 50%, and it was not sweet enough at all.

Formosa Aroma is now one of my new favorite boba spots. You absolutely must check out this place if you're a tea lover. They offer an impressive array of tea options, so you're bound to find something you'll enjoy. You can also customize your drinks to your heart's content with their wide range of tea and milk options. The staff is incredibly friendly and provides excellent recommendations. I especially adore their boba; it's made to perfection. While the drinks here aren't exactly budget-friendly, the price-to-quality ratio is quite reasonable. You definitely get more bang for your buck compared to Chicha San Chen, which also offers a variety of teas but gives you less for the same price.
Quick tips: There's plenty of free parking in the structure at the back, which is shared with other restaurants in the same plaza.

Popular Taiwanese chain for boba. Walked here after lunch at Borneo and there was a long line but it moved fairly quickly. It was a 20 minute wait to order at the counter. Credit cards accepted. There are tables indoors as well as benches outside that aren’t affiliated with the cafe. You can customize your tea choice, sweetness level, ice level, and toppings. I kept mine simple and I got the Iron Buddha with boba. The boba was plentiful and the 50% sweetness was a good level. No food for sale. They call out your order as it’s ready. It’s kid-friendly.

The rising popularity is a testament to the attention to detail for tea drinks. Formosa even uses extractors that are designed for coffee. The variety available here is also creating an experience that will keep you coming back.
The space isn't large on busy weekend days, but you can certainly find this location a great place to hang out during the weekdays. Parking is still located behind the storefront covered.
Be sure to let the staff offer their selection and suggestions. They do know a thing or two.

I've been a regular customer at this boba milk tea shop for the past two months, starting from their soft opening. Initially, what drew me in was their exceptional, genuine tea taste . I appreciated the owner's dedication to continually refining their formula for the best taste. However, I've observed some changes and inconsistency over the past two weeks. Despite consistently ordering my favorite, the brown sugar boba milk tea with oriental beauty, I've noticed a decrease in the tea flavor and an increase in sweetness. Particularly in these recent two weeks, every time I order, it tastes different, and looks different. Additionally, the inconsistency in how they prepare the boba with sugar ratios is affecting the overall taste of the milk tea. I'm uncertain if it's due to the owner's reduced presence during these past two weeks, but it's certainly not a positive development for a boba store that has only been open for two months.

I tried this place multiple times since their soft opening. Definitely come during the weekday if you do not want to wait. On weekend the wait is up to an hour just to get your tea. The line to place an order seems long but it goes by pretty quickly.
They brew their tea on the spot like chicha sanchen, so that explains the long wait. Teas are definitely very strong and refreshing. Usually I can still fall asleep like a baby with coffee or tea in my system, but not their tea!! KEPT ME AWAKE ALL NIGHT AND DAY LONG LOL...Out of all the teas I tried from this place, My favorite gotta be the ROSE CREAM FOAM JASMINE GREEN TEA. The cream foam is very soft creamy and taste just like the rose! I lovee! not many places can make anything relating with rose correctly you know!?!
The Jasmine Green Milk Tea is my least favor as its kinda bland. I dont know what happened there, but the tea in this one isnt as strong as the other teas!.
