Love the delicious food and fast and efficient service here! The dining area is outside. It’s not fancy but there’s plenty of seating! Good place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner! It’s been around as long as I have been on this earth. It’s a very stable and consistent Restaurant! You really can’t go wrong here. I recommended highly!

Looking for a real Mexican food restaurant in LA, we were very excited to try, food is good, but a lot of flour tortillas for my taste ( I like corn better) and it misses. A bit of spice. Nice experience overall but we were expecting more.

Love this place! I've been coming here since I was little. Everything is so yummy! Love their loaded nachos and fries! All their burritos, bomb! Lol taquitos and hard shell tacos with guacamole, yummy! Even their bean and cheese burrito, one of my favorites! Had taquitos to start lol so hungry, didn't take a pic. Then, I started on this huge breakfast burrito, barely got halfway.. saving it for later😋 Can't forget their green salsa, I put it on everything! 🤗😉 This location is the best! Their staff are always nice, the service is quick and it's well kept, it hasn't changed! Love it lol

The lady would not give me chili peppers. She said that they charge for them. I’ve received them several times from this location and have never been charged. The Covina location has them out with the hot sauce and you serve yourself. I’ve never been to a restaurant where they charge you for the little yellow peppers.

DANGEROUS OBJECT Found in MY HARDSHELL TAC0!! I ordered a beef taco and I bit into my hard taco there was a tooth pick imbedded in the beef ! I took a bite and the toothpick lodged into my upper roof of my mouth ! I almost swallowed it and I had to stick my finger in my mouth and dislodge it out of my mouth close to the back of my throat ! I called to complain but of course no ansewer !! I don’t trust this place anymore . Everyone looks careless and always talking more than working !

To pepe's finest mexican restaurant Owner(s).

I been to a couple of your locations from Hawaiian Gardens to Alhambra cities.

First concerns is please avoid over cooking all types of meats with too much salt. I seen before you can offer the small size salt packages if customer request it after alls. For the good health concerns do alls a favors NO MORE TOO MUCH SALT IN ALL NEATS.

It would be much better in your menu to add more 4 roll tacos, 2 tacos shells, 2 enchiladas, 1 more sope for a minor additional fee .

Think about it on how to make your food menus for food more volume and more attractive when customers wants more food for their money spend.

Last and least please STOP charging all your customers additional bank fees if customer pays with Debit CARDS.

By the city compliance and all financial BANK institutes if your customers pays with a debit bank cards is consider to be same as cash payment.
In other words money has been debit out from customer act. and deposited to the business accounts electronic way/ process.

Please make sure you have train all your employees and post signs on the wall no charges when paying with debit bank cards only.

PLEAZE DON'T MAKE ME REPORT YOU TO THE LOCAL CITY WEIGHT AND MEASUREMENTS COMPLIANCE DEPT.

Very busy but well worth the wait if you like fast Mexican food!!
My wife loves the nachos with chicken, no green sauce, and Jalapeños. My go-to is the OG Bean and Cheese burrito. There is lots of red sauce!!!
The kiddos love the nachos, tacos, and the kids' bean and cheese!! The staff work hard and fast, and the food is always consistent and good!!!
If you want to sit and dine at the location, parking can be tough but doable.
Overall, it's a great place for lunch if you're passing through!!!

This place is really dirty.They shouldn't be open.I've been sick the last ten times i've come here. I don't know what they're doing.I don't think they're cleaning things.I seen cockroaches and rats and nobody wants to listen to anything. Violent explosive, diarrhea and vomiting, excessive sweating heart palpitations. I was hospitalized.

The lady would not give me chili peppers. She said that they charge for them. I’ve received them several times from this location and have never been charged. The Covina location has them out with the hot sauce and you serve yourself. I’ve never been to a restaurant where they charge you for the little yellow peppers.

Ordered a bean and cheese burrito and some nachos. The bean and cheese burrito was served cold and the barely had cheese and the tortilla was stale. The nachos were also served cold with limited toppings. This place used to be so good, but as the prices went up the quality of the food plummeted.

Good food. But anytime I order online. Something is ALWAYS missing... It's expected now. They don't pay attention to the modifications for the food. And don't even try ordering a drink. You wont get it. It's def best to go in to get your food so you can check everything before leaving.

This place is fantastic. No wonder the drive thru line is always so packed. I recommend going to the window instead. At the moment they don't do the tipping ipads so you don't have to worry about tipping. It's more like fast food. The food is top notch, amazing but expensive. Expect to pay $30 for two people. Try the asada fries and wet burrito

If you’re craving some authentic Mexican food, head straight to Alhambra. The staff is super friendly and quick on their feet, making sure you have a great time. And let me tell you, the food is to die for! The machacas burritos, hart tacos, and agua horchata are absolute must-tries.

The seating area let's you breathe in a LOT of exhaust from the drive thru line, and the taquito plate used to have full sized almost the length of the box taquitos, now they're about 30% smaller for the same price. They did heap in guacamole to both the taquitos and the rice and refried bean portion of the plate, but they're still noticeably smaller than they where just a few months ago.

It’s a great spot But the high school kids that work there are sweet polite kids learning but they should know what the menu is and what each of the meals consists of. The guacamole is from a bag not fresh that was a miss for me some things are not freshly prepared there.

I didn't want to write a review because I wanted to give them a chance, but I’ve had enough. I spent $55 and ended up throwing most of it away. I ordered 4 soft tacos and 2 hard tacos. The tacos were done correctly, but the other items were completely wrong.

I ordered asada nachos with guacamole, and on the side, I asked for just the chips, meat, and shredded cheese. When I got home, I found that there were beans, sour cream, and tomatoes on it, which made the chips soggy and inedible.

Now for the breakfast burrito—this is probably the worst one I’ve ever had. I can't believe they ruined a breakfast burrito. I remembered that the last time I ordered, it came with beans, so I specifically asked for no beans this time. When I got it, there were no beans, but they added rice. On top of that, it was prepared wet burrito style with sauce and melted shredded cheese. I had planned to save it for the morning and eat it while driving to work. How am I supposed to do that? The salsa ruined the entire thing. They use fillers like beans and rice in everything to create the illusion of a bigger portion.

Asada Fries - Not great, doesn't stand out. Asada hard, no flavor. No juicy finger dripping goodness, just lame d fries. Better to go to the Original Pepe's down the road in Rosemead.

I came here to pick up an asada burrito and a Al pastor taco. After waiting 30 minutes for my order I finally left. Employees were talking about me in Spanish thinking I didn’t know how to speak it. There’s many other better options out there, I don’t recommend for anyone to waste their time coming here.

In the area it's in there aren't too many choices when it comes to Mexican food. So this place takes advantage. I just paid $8.00 for a bean burrito, that's it. So for the flavor it's definitely a rip off!

The people are rude as hell and have NO customer service skills whatsoever. No respect to customers. I dont know if they are tired from the rude food delivery service clientel but they need to fix themselves. So gross the way i was treated when i came to them with nothing but kindness and l respect for my food being wrong. Disgusting. And the food is mid. Not even good. I'm dropping a star. I asked for a chorizo breakfast burrito. Normally they add all the fixings. This time they forced me to choose between bean and egg!! What! I thought they were kidding. Nope. I got just the chorizo and bean. NOTHING ELSE. And then they billed me 10 BUCKs for it. No man. Cmon. New hire? Dont know but damn man. 10 bucks for 2 pieces on a a tortilla?

Pepe's is a long time restaurant establishment in Alhambra. I was glad that I finally got a chance to try it. It was a take out order. I ordered the breakfast burritos and my friend told me it tasted very good and I agreed. The Pepe's here is a self-serve style restaurant. They provide some basic tables and chairs for their customers to eat there and there is no waiter. So set your expectations accordingly.

The reason I do not give them 5 stars is because they didn't give me exactly what I ordered. I ordered my food online it might have something to do with it.

Pepe’s is a really good chain but this specific location is horrible. Go to the one in Downey. Best location in my opinion. The burritos here is all tortilla with hardly anything in it. Reminded me of a microwave burrito smh.

Pepe’s is my favorite place to go when I am HUNGRY and need a quality meal for a good price with great service. My family and I have been going to Pepe’s for years and have been there at all times of the day. Whether you want breakfast, lunch, or dinner Pepe’s has great options that will satisfy you. I went last night and bought hard shell tacos( they were cold) bean and cheese burrito and rolled tacos ( cold again)
All my family woke up at around 1am and had bad diarrhea and nausea. Will not go ever again and advise others not to.

The problem with this place is the consistency. Today I got a burrito with nothing but grease dripping from the bottom. I'm talking like atleast 3 tbsp of grease. Tablespoons of GREASE! Why? People have health problems based on diet and you're going to not even acknowledge that? I also didn't get the chili sauces I asked for even though it was left in comments and there to read right on the receipt. CONSISTENCY man. I mean I got a refund so I don't care anymore but, ... this really starts to help people decide if they wanna go back.

EVERYONE WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. PRICES WERE SURPRISINGLY AFFORDABLE. HOWEVER THE BEEF SEEMED TO LACK FLAVOR...HUH

local mexican restaurant that's been around since i was in elementary school. the food is great especially the hard shell beef tacos. i highly recommend grubbing here when you get a chance and in the mood for some mexican food. overall good place to eat.

This place has been around forever! The food is consistently delicious and I have never had a bad meal. It is an old school drive thru; tables out in front under an awning and cars lined up circling around the small building. I hate to even post because it means they will be busier than ever, but I have to give them a shout out for always satisfying my hunger. The green Chile pork burrito is my favorite.

Past 2 times I've came it took forever for some nachos ..I've been coming for years and never took 30 mins.the first I've they took this long I gave the benefit of the doubt but today being the second time how is it that I'm wai30 mins 2 people got their food ahead of me and at that one of those people order nachos

I will never eat here again and I been eating here since a youngster, I order a asada burrito today I should of took the sign when I first open my burrito it was super greasy that the tortilla was wet, I started eating it and when I was chewing I bit into a bone, I never heard of asada having bone in it so I don’t know what asada they using over there.
I should be able to eat my burrito without needing to worry about losing teeth.
Don’t waste your money here, there’s better places you can go to that really care about what they serve, trust me I been coming here since I was young.

Been coming here my whole life. Food is great, friendly hard working employees. Today I had a small issue with a couple of burritos ( never happened before) Jose was very kind, quick to resolve the issue and generous enough to go above and beyond for my trouble. I did decline but did appreciate the offer. I will remember this experience in the future and will be happy to return. Thanks Jose!

California burrito was loaded with meat. The tortillas and cheese were fresh. The red salsa was tasty and had just a little spice.

We sat on the patio and watched as they moved cars every 30-50 seconds for the most part.

Good crew and friendly as well. I'm glad we stopped here in our way home from LA.

I will definitely be coming back.

When they say the nachos are 9 dollars… they MEAN IT. You will for sure be getting 9 dollars worth of nachos. I consider myself a hefty guy, and even the small nachos would get me absolutely stuffed levels of full.
Keep in mind that this is a more Mexican-American type place, so they use shredded cheese and those kind of slightly watery frijoles. Overall though, I love this place and their nachos. Drive thru can take a little while but it’s always worth the wait in my opinion.
