Love the delicious food and fast and efficient service here! The dining area is outside. It’s not fancy but there’s plenty of seating! Good place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner! It’s been around as long as I have been on this earth. It’s a very stable and consistent Restaurant! You really can’t go wrong here. I recommended highly!

Looking for a real Mexican food restaurant in LA, we were very excited to try, food is good, but a lot of flour tortillas for my taste ( I like corn better) and it misses. A bit of spice. Nice experience overall but we were expecting more.

Ordered a bean and cheese burrito and some nachos. The bean and cheese burrito was served cold and the barely had cheese and the tortilla was stale. The nachos were also served cold with limited toppings. This place used to be so good, but as the prices went up the quality of the food plummeted.

Love this place! I've been coming here since I was little. Everything is so yummy! Love their loaded nachos and fries! All their burritos, bomb! Lol taquitos and hard shell tacos with guacamole, yummy! Even their bean and cheese burrito, one of my favorites! Had taquitos to start lol so hungry, didn't take a pic. Then, I started on this huge breakfast burrito, barely got halfway.. saving it for later😋 Can't forget their green salsa, I put it on everything! 🤗😉 This location is the best! Their staff are always nice, the service is quick and it's well kept, it hasn't changed! Love it lol

If you re craving some authentic Mexican food, head straight to Alhambra. The staff is super friendly and quick on their feet, making sure you have a great time. And let me tell you, the food is to die for! The machacas burritos, hart tacos, and agua horchata are absolute must-tries.

The seating area lets you breathe in a LOT of exhaust from the drive thru line, and the taquito plate used to have full sized almost the length of the box taquitos, now theyre about 30% smaller for the same price. They did heap in guacamole to both the taquitos and the rice and refried bean portion of the plate, but theyre still noticeably smaller than they where just a few months ago. Parking: Parking is accessed through the back alley behind the restaurant. Its all nestled somewhat inconveniently between the drove through line so getting in and out is a bit of a hassle. Definitely park in the nearby residential areas or on the street if you can.

It s a great spot But the high school kids that work there are sweet polite kids learning but they should know what the menu is and what each of the meals consists of. The guacamole is from a bag not fresh that was a miss for me some things are not freshly prepared there.

I didnt want to write a review because I wanted to give them a chance, but I ve had enough. I spent $55 and ended up throwing most of it away. I ordered 4 soft tacos and 2 hard tacos. The tacos were done correctly, but the other items were completely wrong. I ordered asada nachos with guacamole, and on the side, I asked for just the chips, meat, and shredded cheese. When I got home, I found that there were beans, sour cream, and tomatoes on it, which made the chips soggy and inedible. Now for the breakfast burrito this is probably the worst one I ve ever had. I cant believe they ruined a breakfast burrito. I remembered that the last time I ordered, it came with beans, so I specifically asked for no beans this time. When I got it, there were no beans, but they added rice. On top of that, it was prepared wet burrito style with sauce and melted shredded cheese. I had planned to save it for the morning and eat it while driving to work. How am I supposed to do that? The salsa ruined the entire thing. They use fillers like beans and rice in everything to create the illusion of a bigger portion.

Cool local spot with some feel good food. One of the first places I starting going to when I first moved to LA too. The breakfast burritos got me hooked, though their other items (there are many) are good too. Vegetarian options: Given some options are just bean/cheese or fries, thered be something to eat. Just dont expect a full meal of a main, side, dessert, etc. Parking: There is a small parking lot in the back with maybe 4-5 spots and then street parking.

Asada Fries - Not great, doesnt stand out. Asada hard, no flavor. No juicy finger dripping goodness, just lame d fries. Better to go to the Original Pepes down the road in Rosemead.

I came here to pick up an asada burrito and a Al pastor taco. After waiting 30 minutes for my order I finally left. Employees were talking about me in Spanish thinking I didn t know how to speak it. The people are rude as hell and have NO customer service skills whatsoever. No respect to customers. I dont know if they are tired from the rude food delivery service clientel but they need to fix themselves. Im dropping a star. I asked for a chorizo breakfast burrito. Normally they add all the fixings. This time they forced me to choose between bean and egg!! What! I thought they were kidding. Nope. I got just the chorizo and bean. NOTHING ELSE. And then they billed me 10 BUCKs for it. No man. Cmon. New hire? Dont know but damn man. 10 bucks for 2 pieces on a a tortilla? Pepes is a long time restaurant establishment in Alhambra. I was glad that I finally got a chance to try it. It was a take out order. I ordered the breakfast burritos and my friend told me it tasted very good and I agreed. The Pepes here is a self-serve style restaurant. They provide some basic tables and chairs for their customers to eat there and there is no waiter. So set your expectations accordingly. The reason I do not give them 5 stars is because they didnt give me exactly what I ordered. I ordered my food online it might have something to do with it.

DANGEROUS OBJECT Found in MY HARDSHELL TAC0!! I ordered a beef taco and I bit into my hard taco there was a tooth pick imbedded in the beef ! I took a bite and the toothpick lodged into my upper roof of my mouth ! I almost swallowed it and I had to stick my finger in my mouth and dislodge it out of my mouth close to the back of my throat ! I called to complain but of course no ansewer !! I don t trust this place anymore . Everyone looks careless and always talking more than working !

Pepe s is a really good chain but this specific location is horrible. Go to the one in Downey. Best location in my opinion. The burritos here is all tortilla with hardly anything in it. Reminded me of a microwave burrito smh.

Pepe s is my favorite place to go when I am HUNGRY and need a quality meal for a good price with great service. The problem with this place is the consistency. Today I got a burrito with nothing but grease dripping from the bottom. Im talking like atleast 3 tbsp of grease. Tablespoons of GREASE! Why? People have health problems based on diet and youre going to not even acknowledge that? I also didnt get the chili sauces I asked for even though it was left in comments and there to read right on the receipt. CONSISTENCY man. I mean I got a refund so I dont care anymore but, ... this really starts to help people decide if they wanna go back.

This place has been around forever! The food is consistently delicious and I have never had a bad meal. It is an old school drive thru; tables out in front under an awning and cars lined up circling around the small building. I hate to even post because it means they will be busier than ever, but I have to give them a shout out for always satisfying my hunger. The green Chile pork burrito is my favorite. I will never eat here again and I been eating here since a youngster, I order a asada burrito today I should of took the sign when I first open my burrito it was super greasy that the tortilla was wet, I started eating it and when I was chewing I bit into a bone, I never heard of asada having bone in it so I don t know what asada they using over there. I should be able to eat my burrito without needing to worry about losing teeth. Don t waste your money here, there s better places you can go to that really care about what they serve, trust me I been coming here since I was young.

Been coming here my whole life. Food is great, friendly hard working employees. Today I had a small issue with a couple of burritos ( never happened before) Jose was very kind, quick to resolve the issue and generous enough to go above and beyond for my trouble. California burrito was loaded with meat. The tortillas and cheese were fresh. The red salsa was tasty and had just a little spice. We sat on the patio and watched as they moved cars every 30-50 seconds for the most part. Good crew and friendly as well. Im glad we stopped here in our way home from LA. When they say the nachos are 9 dollars they MEAN IT. You will for sure be getting 9 dollars worth of nachos. I consider myself a hefty guy, and even the small nachos would get me absolutely stuffed levels of full. Keep in mind that this is a more Mexican-American type place, so they use shredded cheese and those kind of slightly watery frijoles. Overall though, I love this place and their nachos. Drive thru can take a little while but it s always worth the wait in my opinion.

It s a nah for me bruh. The rice looks like it was beamed down outer space and disentegrated on its way here. The Chile relleno was NOT a Chile relleno. The beans were ok. The horchata was good. Save your money and don t get the side of guac. For the quality of the food, I would expect that this would be a lot cheaper. After going to a place like chonitos, this is a dump.

Love this place! Ive been coming here since I was little. Everything is so yummy! Love their loaded nachos and fries! All their burritos, bomb! Lol taquitos and hard shell tacos with guacamole, yummy! Even their bean and cheese burrito, one of my favorites! Had taquitos to start lol so hungry, didnt take a pic. Then, I started on this huge breakfast burrito, barely got halfway.. saving it for later Cant forget their green salsa, I put it on everything! This location is the best! Their staff are always nice, the service is quick and its well kept, it hasnt changed! Love it lol

Pepes on valley in Alhambra.. Ive been going there for 40 yrs.. Price is right...but more importantly the quality & Consistansy has never changed. Its the bomb.. Ive have traveled all thru this country and others..& I always compare,.. Pepes..sets the bar... Ill always, where ever I live.. Come home to .... Vegetarian options: Ive got to say,,recently after 2 attempts at a Chile Relleno. It sucks, a scrambled egg and an Un cooked pepper is a total rip off .
