AWSOM Wings Pizza & Burgers

This review is for delivery. I ordered the wings (all flats), and they were the tiniest wings I’ve ever seen...maybe they added two extra to make up for it? Lol! The flavors were good, but the wings were a bit dry and, of course, tiny. On another note, we also tried the cheese balls, and they were surprisingly good! I expected them to be a greasy bomb, but they were actually tasty.
Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but I’m not sure if Awsom will be my first choice in the future.

Been at this location many times including the Montebello one as well. My bf and I have always had a great experience but this time around the wings were so small and the price went up along with that! Our server had spilled water on us which we completely understand, accidents happen. But she never offered to refill the water she spilled and on top of that she only came to check on us after we got our food one time. She didn’t even give us our check or anything. And when she cleaned she left a lot of water on the floor and the platform our table sits on, creating a safety hazard for us and other customers (she did put up a wet floor sign), however I feel like a better job could’ve been done. On top of that she left the dirty towels on the floor too, I guess she forgot they were there cause she didn’t see us after she first came when we got our food. We saw another server that wasn’t ours, more than her. I hope it was just an off day and that this isn’t what it has turned to. I feel like myself and my bf are very good patrons and are very understanding but it just felt like one thing after another was going wrong and made us disappointed because we really do love this place so much & we remember having a long convo w the owner when the name had first changed from alondra’s to awsom. For reference, the first picture is of todays food (august 2024) and the second is of the food from earlier this year in february (2024)

Came here today for my lunch cheat meal. Got the Cali Burger lettuce-wrapped along with a small salad to sub fries and some Mild Buffalo wings. They were very attentive, not too expensive, and portion sizes came out good. Not sure about the bad reviews. Chicken wings tasted fresh, probably due to people ordering them often.

So, I'd definitely come back.

Great place to eat! The hot wings are crispy and delicious. I also ordered the philly cheese steak and it came with fries. The strawberry lemonade is very good. Free parking all around. Clean tables and good customer service.

The staffs are very friendly and nice. The food is amazingly tasty. I love the cheese meatballs. The service is fast and the price is reasonable. However, they promised to give me a complementary icecream for my birthday this evening, but they never brought it to me. I guess, they forgot.

Takeout review: Satiating. My first time ordering from here was not disappointing. The portions are substantial and everything tasted delicious. I do wish the Tennessee hot chicken sandwich had a little more kick to it, though.

Alondras Hot Wings are unbelievably good! The wait time was 5 seconds. The staff were on point and the pizza, a solid 10/10!!!

Best spot for wings, hands down, was the O.G. Alondras Hot Wings, in Alhambra. Throw back spot, reminding me of when I stumbled upon this gem, when I was attending grad school off of Fremont @ the USC KECK MEDICAL Building. Unbeknownst to me, this fine establishment, which is decorated and inspired by Italian Mobsters throughout history, as its theme...has changed names, and is now AWSOM Wings. Wings are still bomb & on-point.

Flavor and quality changed since the new ownership. It’s no Alondra’s, but it’s still good. We like $1 wing Wednesday’s. Cheeseballs are definitely not as good as they used to be.

Ordered on uber eats. Food arrived 45 minutes after I placed the order but the food was cold. The drive is only 13-15 minutes but there was no heat whatsoever. Called the restaurant and the manager said it’s not their responsibililty and blamed the uber driver. No recompensation or applogy whatsoever. Felt like they took food out of the refrigerator and lightly heated it. Never eating here again.

Been here a handful of times with my family. It can either be a hit or miss! Pizza can either delicious or disappointing. Went in on Friday April 5th 2024 around 5 pm & something was off on the pizza, it was not good so we barely ate 1 slice each. Fast forward we all have food poisoning for a few days now🤢 idk what happened but be careful with this place. Sadly not going back. I gave 2 stars because wings and Buffalo fries are extremely delicious. Also no baby changing station sucks!!!!!

They are known for their hot wings and pizza. The varieties of wings, pizza, sandwiches, and appetizers are great. The venue is clean and spacious great for large family dining. The servers are friendly and helpful. Parking can be a challenge at peak times and weekends but there are parking structures around the area.

It used to be better, wings got more expensive. The staff isn't as friendly anymore, and they aren't as quick to attend you. There service is slow now, 10 minutes to serve me another beer? On top of that it had too much foam. Asked the waiter for a new one and she rolled her eyes at me. Learn to pour!

It took them several months to fix the baby changing station. Like, several months. So much so that another customer mentioned it to me and shared her frustrations as well.

So they finally fixed it and it is absolutely disgusting. It's very dirty, there's loose gravel or sand on it. It truly looks like it's never been cleaned. This place is supposed to be a family friendly establishment but honestly this is the reason I haven't gone as often as I would.

The food is amazing but honestly I don't go very often because of this.

Whole families went for Valentines Day, we were all very satisfied and happy, which can be a challenge with 4 kids. The cheese balls…DAAANG SO GOOD..it was happy hour, beer selection was good and great price. It was an AWSOM time😎

As an avid wing-eater who enjoys wings and flavor, I have to say this place is top notch. Their burgers, their pizzas, and everything on the menu is delicious. Especially the wings. If you want chicken wings that are full of flavor and cooked well, please pay AWSOM a visit. They have a great drink menu, and a great selection of beer. Their wonderful service is also to be noted. Also, if you’re a spice chaser, you have to try their atomic wings. I am a regular here, and truly enjoy the food and this establishment so much. I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you Danny, Daisy and everyone else for the delicious food and top tier service!

Delicious! I had the nachos and they were so good with chili and tons of toppings! The owner was so nice and the waitress was very helpful! Definitely recommend checking this place out! Happy Hour Specials too!

By far, the best hot wings in LA hands down and the atomic sauce is killer. Their pizza is amazing as well, and the drink of choice is peach ice tea.

We found this place on a whim. We wanted wings and a sit down, but not a chain restaurant. This place had excellent food. We enjoyed Buffalo wings, basket of fries, a burger and beinets. My son said that was the juiciest burger he has ever had, we call him the cheeseburger connoisseur. The restaurant had a gangster theme to it which was fun. We will come back again.

Want to start off by saying that our waiter was awesome. He was really great and tried to make our experience better. Unfortunately the food was not good. The buffalo chicken was super sour and totally inedible. The pizza sauce tasted canned and like it contained a lot of sugar. Beer is $9 a glass, pretty overpriced. Ended up being $60 for one person, so I don’t recommend this place unless you’re just looking for a spot to watch the game.

I had place an order for wings to be ready at 2:00. And the manager put it for the next day at 2. There no manager on site to complain. The server were rude. Yes I was upset but I’m the costumer. And the customer is always right. Th fact the a restaurant doesn’t have a manager is mind is crazy to me

Supreme pizza was really good. Pizza dough was nice and fluffy. Toppings were good. Tasted exactly how a Supreme pizza should be but with a fluffy crust.

Tried this place after driving past it many times! I’ve only gotten takeout and honestly their wings are much tastier than the other places I tried. I’ll definitely try to eat in restaurant with other things when I get the chance to!

The manager or owners really needs to find help fast!!! The waitress and worker were the only two running the front desk and I felt so bad for them. They were trying so hard to keep up with dining, takeout, and all orders in general. The owner needs to realize this problem and address it immediately. My order was sitting there for half an hour while me and 6 other carry out order customers were standing near the bar. The entire dining area was full of 30+ while waitress is trying very best to accommodate everyone. While standing there for 30 minutes, I seen a party of 8 walk in and stand there looking so disappointed not seated yet. I can only feel for the employees there and really hope management wakes up and hires help. My food was cold and I didn’t even care. It was still delicious to me.

Had boneless - Mango Habanero, Thai Chili, honey barbecue, and Cajun dry rub. Had bone in - Mango Habenero, Honey Barbecue, and Teriyaki. The Mango Habenero has a kick for my palete, but the others were delicious. The parmesean Fries were Awesome and delicious didn't leave a single one when we left. The American Hamburger was tasty. Had a few spirits, not sure if the ice was off but the colors and flavors seemed a bit off. The atmosphere was good, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Had a good 1st impression and would definitely come back for a visit.

Had dinner there 07/29/2018. When I received my credit card bill, I was overcharged $1.00 for the tip ($11.50 instead of the $10.50) I spoke to someone Lynette and she said she would take care of it for me. It's now 4 years later and I never heard a word from this establishment. I've never been back but that's not a way to do business!

Food is below average, watch for your bill, bartender will charge you more than the actual price of drink is. Also, watch for your credit card make sure you get it back after you pay, they somehow like to lose credit cards. Bad food bad service

Thus location has the worst and rudest manager ever encountered. When we arrived at the restaurant at a out 9pm he only asked hiw many people were in my party and only told us it would a 15 minute wait. They gave us a table at 935. As we approached the table it was dirty with food on the table and the floor. He's response was" the kitchen closes in 10 minutes, you can either sit here like it is ot not, your choice and just walked away. He then came back and proceeded to be rude and said he has the right to refuse service, wouldn't Even give us his name or in another information to make a full complaint because he said it was against the law. Will never visit this location again!

Disappointed with this Alondras location in Alhambra. Not only did they have us waiting longer than our wait time, they also just about got our whole order wrong. Made sure to verbally confirm with employee on the phone while making my order that we wanted bread bowl. We got no bread bowl. Offered us wet wings. Wings came dry. Pizza had more crust than cheese. They also forgot to provide us utensils. Staff seemed unorganized. Should of gone to Montebello.

Service and quality were really good. The Lemon Pepper wings and the Chile Lime wings are thee best. Great bang for your buck! We swallowed down the wings so quick we didn't even get pics of it. Although they no longer carry Modelo beer, the beer selection was good. I had the Cheve and the West "___ " IPA. Great atmosphere and plenty of TVs to watch the various games playing. Will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

Hot dog places are usually all the same, plain and simple and all taste the same, but Alondra's Hot Wings, Pizza, Pasta is a completely different story. This is what a real hot dog should taste like... seriously the best hot dog I have ever had. Their concept is pretty catchy actually and even though it's "dirty," the restaurant itself is very clean and sanitary.

I've been going to Alondra's since the Montebello opening. Their wings are still amazing. However, their pizza has changed a lot. Sorry to say I didn't enjoy it this last time. Of course, everything is changing in this world. But I definitely would wish their pizza was the same

The wings are good, the pizza tastes like the dough was frozen but the ingredients do make up for the dough.

The overall service it great. Great service and good atmosphere.

That being said it,they kept me entertained by all the televisons being on and the conversation with the wife made sitting there a great time. By the way she is great and only a young Selma Hayek would make me think twice..lol.

I like alondras. But its too expensive. If I could give a 3.5 star I would.
