This spot offers a great assortment of dumplings, meat pies, and a decent pan-fried bao. If you’re looking for a meat-forward place to grab lunch, this is a very solid choice. The food arrives relatively quickly given that the food is freshly cooked.
The staff are friendly and attentive. Orders came out together and piping hot, fast refills of water throughout, and they quickly replaced chopsticks when I dropped mine.
The restaurant is small, with only 4 or 5 tables, so expect a potential wait during peak hours, but it’s well worth it.
Parking is generally easy on the side streets near E Main Street.
Highly recommended: Lamb meat pies and the pork and seafood dumplings.

Been wanting to try this pie house for some time, finally got the chance to try it last Sunday. Their dumplings and pies are awesome, they taste great and very flavorful. The dumpling skin is thin, the meat is juicy, doesn't have any aftertaste. However, I suggest going there for their dumplings and pies. Their noodles are subpar, it is under flavored, noodles are way too soft, and especially for the beef noodle soup, there are only 3 small pieces of beef in it. With that being said, I will definitely go back for their dumplings and pies.

We came to try the food and had low expectations, but the food was delicious. We got minced sauce noodle and 2 dumplings dishes. All was very delicious. The minced sauce noodle was one of the best minced sauce noodles in SGV. Not too oily, but it has deep flavor. Dumpling... was superb 👌 👏. Highly recommended. Simple, not too expensive and delicious.

The hole in the wall you've been looking for. I never fancy dumplings / buns, but when I tried their fried buns, they won me over. Skin is even, thin, w/ the right consistency. Savory inside and out. Tried some of the soups that were ok. Recommend the buns/dumplings.

Drove by this place a lot while we went shopping at Good Fortune Market across street. My husband is a big fan of pan fried buns so we decided to check it out. Before came here, I looked at their menu and it had extensive and authentic flavors for dumplings and pies. That’s how I knew they were legit!!
We came on a rainy Saturday around 11:30am there were only two other tables. I feel on a nice day it would be busier.
For food we got:
- pork scallion pie (5/5). Wowwwww a must try!! It was so juicy and flavorful. The outside is perfectly crispy. This is our favorite and we definitely will try other flavors next time.
- pan fried chicken mushroom dumplings (5/5). I love the dumpling skin as you can taste the slightly chew and that’s how you know it’s handmade!
- cucumber salad (5/5). Very refreshing and balance out the richness of all the fried dumplings.
- pan fried bun (4/5). This is probably my least favorite although it’s still pretty good. It doesn’t have much juice as I thought it would like the pie. So I’ll stick with the pies next time.
No fuss service. You order via QR code and food comes out around 10-15 minutes. They have a sign to explain the 15 min wait due to all handmade to order which is well worth it!! This has become our new go-to for weekend brunch.

Lovely food and cozy, quiet atmosphere on a Sunday night. We ordered fried pork dumplings, wonton soup, pork scallion pie, and some pork noodles. Savory, freshly made, piping hot! Pictured are the dumplings and the pie, the dumplings are 10pc but I forgot to take a photo until after I ate some because it was just too good.

This place was so good! We had the pork and green onion pies and they were so juicy. We also had the pork and celery dumplings and the chicken and cilantro pot stickers. Both of those were really good too! We also ordered some pork and cabbage steamed buns but all of the portions were bigger than we expected so we took those home as leftovers. They also have a pretty spicy chili oil that was probably some of the best I've ever had. Absolutely delicious and can't wait to come back soon.

This place is tiny! Glad they have an extensive kitchen to cook all sorts of things, but finding a seat to sit down here is super tough.
The food is great, but I'd rather get it to-go.
My friend insisted on sitting down though. So when we changed to sit-down, the person asked us to add a tip amount. A little off -putting, because I was going to put down cash for tips, but since he asked before actually being served, I put the minimum. Even then, it almost wasn't worth it. They were super busy, and we had to grab our own plates at certain points. They seemed a bit disorganized, but I'll give them that they tried their best to accommodate everyone.
They have a lot of wasted space. The old space facing out front can seat more people with high stools like a bar, but they put their junk in there.
I'd come back for the food, but do your best not to stick around beyond that. Heck even trying to get an estimate took longer than it should have.

Im super excited to share my discovery of Min Min Pie House in Alhambra, California! This cozy gem is easily missed, but trust me, its worth a try if you love Chinese handmade pie dishes. Walking in, I didnt see anyone to greet me, but the open seating and QR code ordering system made it easy to get started. Scan the code, choose from English or Chinese menus - so convenient! A friendly middle-aged lady arrived shortly, offered water, and let us know we could order through our phones. We ordered: sweet & sour soup, fried stinky tofu, lamb scallion pie, pork cabbage baozi, fried leek dumplings. All orders take a bit longer since everythings made from scratch. Dishes are perfectly seasoned; just add soy sauce or chill sauce to taste. And most of all, the place is owned by locals, with hands-on kitchen staff. When paying, the owner asked about my experience and shared their passion for handmade dishes. Only frozen dumplings are available for home purchase due to limited staff. Min Min Pie House is a hidden gem! Dont miss it if youre a fan of authentic Chinese cuisine. Give it a try and enjoy!

Their chicken meat pie is so juicy, it s our go to dumpling-ish place! It always amazes us that the pies aren t oily. For a healthier option, we ll get the tomato egg soup. The cucumber salad is a must for its flavor/crunch but also to offset the heaviness of the Meat pies.

I came to this restaurant for the first time today. I felt so comfortable eating. I ordered pies and steamed buns. They were all freshly made. They were delicious and juicy. The millet porridge was also very fragrant. The dumplings cannot be made fresh but frozen, because it is difficult to wrap them, which is understandable. I want to try the dumplings next time I come here. If they taste good, I can buy a few bags of frozen dumplings to take away.

This place is amazing! Very lovely people!!! My fiancé and I went to eat here out of the blue and they were very sweet and attentive. We order a lot to take home which was 3 sets of steam buns and the lady said it was a lot, man it was a lot but we took them home. Mind you, when we got home we were sad cause the food were so good we immediately wanted to go back and order more! We only had a total of 8 of the steam bun out of 24 (which are very filling) but once we got home, we somehow finish them all once we were hungry again. If I could rate this higher I would... definitely coming back next week!

The soy milk here is delicious, and the pancakes and fruits are also very good. The leek boxes here are freshly baked, not fried like many other places. The freshly baked ones are delicious. You can try them here for breakfast. In addition to street parking, there is also a parking lot behind it, but everyone should pay attention to the signs. Some require permits, and some do not. Be sure to read the signs when parking to avoid being ticketed.

Zelle or cash only. Small nothing fancy. The food is very traditional, i saw the lady making everything as we ordered. The steam and fried dumplings were my favorite. The seafood pork bun was good but the smell was very strong, ha! Ill recommend to get a different ingredient if you are too sensitive to smells. They can get very busy so be patient or just do a pick up order.

Pros include delicious food and they sell frozen dumplings! My fave was the pan fried buns. Cons include being a cash only business (or Zelle, but that s kind of odd because you get taxed on transactions over $600?). Also their soup dumplings were not soupy. Wish they also had salty soy milk, but this place is more northern Chinese instead of Taiwanese.

We were there around 10:30 am on Tues. It was not crowded. There were only 2 people working making dumplings, cooking, cleaning, waiting, ringing up orders. The place is small, we were able to make a table for 6. Most tables were for 4 and some tables for 2. Dumplings were really good. We had pork and cabbage and pork and leek. They were juicy and tasty. Green onion Pancake were thin and Crispy but a little oily. Note: its cash only eventhough they have credit card stickers in the door

Very kind and attentive service, and the food was delicious! We got the 1. Pork and green onion steamed buns (8 total): huge portion, dough was chewy with lots of meat 2. Lamb and Cilantro pancake: also lots of meat 3. Pork and chinese cabbage dumplings: Dumpling texture and meat flavor were very good Overall, I ll definitely come back and support the new, local restaurant on Main Street
