Here for the beef hot pot. We had their signature appetizers, beef shank, fresh cut beef, beef tripe, wagyu beef, rice noodle, fries tofu skin, duck blood, and some veggie s. I would say everything is fresh and up to expectation. The things that impressed me are the fried tofu skin not just the taste but also the aroma of it. Also their shacha sauce is definitely homemade and it indeed tastes good and has its own special flavor. I still prefer the other one in San Gabriel more as their soup base is more flavorful and the rice noodles are much better.

We ordered the signature beef hotpot set, the oyster pancake, a pork claypot, and a soup noodle. The beef cuts and the pork meatballs are unique. They all tasted great and didn't suffer from a dreaded common occurrence where every dish tasted the same, like it's made from one sauce. Service was pretty good too. Price wasn't too bad, $115 before tip for those said items. As far as I know, this is the only place that serve this style of beef hot pot (one reviewer said otherwise). Place is kinda small so i can see waiting maybe an issue, the Parking space is right just for the amount of tables they have.

I used to really enjoy the food here, but after two unfortunate experiences, I can’t see myself coming back.
On my first visit, I found a huge cockroach in my noodles—right after I had almost finished the entire meal. The owner I spoke to then was understanding and professional, which made me decide to give the place another chance.
Unfortunately, during my second visit, I was extra cautious because of my previous experience. Despite this, I found another bug in my food—a leaf bug. I informed the waitress, who kindly had the kitchen prepare a new bowl for me. However, when I mentioned this issue to a different owner while paying the check, the response was dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of acknowledging the problem, she insisted their vegetables were “washed very carefully” and showed no real concern or apology.
Finding bugs in my food twice is alarming, but the lack of accountability and empathy on the second visit made it worse. Once trust is lost, it’s hard to regain. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

Food was way too expensive, hotpot was just water and corn with fish balls. No broth or seasonings.

老板让他的朋友在我们眼皮底下插队直接入座,当排队的人是眼瞎的。
Have to be friends of the boss to get seated, otherwise wait in line forever. Very bad management. Come if you enjoy watching boss’s friends eating
