Normally, I don’t have complaints about this place…granted…the food is ok,..this past Thursday (09/05), I had an issue with the service. Around 5:30 pm, I entered the place on Valley Blvd in Alhambra, two gentlemen were been waited on and a lady with three children were waiting for their order.
I’ve had an issues with the server , a Hispanic lady with poor social skills and not very good English. She had messed up my orders in the past. It has got to the point, that if I see her behind the counter, I want to turn around and leave. I should have taken my own advice.
I ordered two sandwiches, a six inch, ham and pepper jack cheese on white, not to be toasted and and foot long turkey and pepper jack cheese on Italian, to be toasted. As I was getting my chips and drinks, a sandwich was being toasted…the six inch..I told her that she put the wrong sandwich in…she gave an attitude…which she’s done a more than one occasion. I told her to forget the order and was putting back the drinks and chips. In broken English, she said to me “You no come back” and that I wasted food. Didn’t she had the power to ban people.
Getting back to the lady with the three kids, I heard that she ordered meatball sandwiches…but the meatballs weren’t ready and to come back in 10 minutes…she did and was told that they still weren’t ready…the lady asked for her money and was told that she didn’t no how to refund and that she would make something else.
Her kids wanted meatballs, she said that she would wait.I don’t know that was settled because I was leaving.
This lady is the exception to the type of service that I have received in the past. I come there, maybe every other week.
If I ever come back…I will try to make sure that she is not the one making the food.

Jun 29, 2024 at 6:30pm I arrived at subway alhambra location 1020 E valley boulevard, when I arrived With my husband we were told they didn’t have salads. I said “before you had” he said “ we have I plate and you can have your sandwich in the plate”, I said ok, but he gave me less that have of the plate, like if I was ordering a half of 6 inch on a plate with 4 half way empty spoons of tuna, he did not want to put more because he said it was going to hard to close the lid which wasn’t true because the plate was less that half way down, service was the worst, I asked if they had churros and the lady said no because they were frozen, I said but you don’t given frozen. I can make them. I said give me 3, when I went out of that store I promise I would never be back, the salad wasn’t good the cueros were still cold and wet inside, hard to eat. People were not welcoming and had a long face I understand they were tired but they need to offer good service I rather prefer a machine taking the order and serving fair portions.
I came to this subway from far away because 6 years ago I had the best service and the best tuna salad with good portions and finely cut the vegetables by hand. This time I got completely disappointed and I swear I will never come back. I hope this review help you to avoid a bad experience.

Made an order in the Subway app to pick up from this location. The store closed EARLY & no one answered the phone. There was not a sign in the window to explain why the early closure, all the chairs were missing from the dining area, and there was a set of keys on the floor just inside the locked doors. Not sure what happened - maybe they all walked out (it’s a crazy world now-a-days). What I am sure of is that I want my money back. There’s no way to cancel an app order and I was charged for food I never picked up :(

I have been going to this subway various times and overall the service has been great until tonight. I stood waiting while the employee took his sweet time putting away crackers and eating as he was in his lunch break. He finally turn around and asked me what I wanted. I gave him a detail list of the subs I wanted and guess what he still asked me what type of bread I wanted when clearly it was noted on the list. He first gave me the wrong tripe of bread. Second he gave the leftover chicken which was the last of tray while he went back and got a new tray of chicken and didn’t even took the time to add some to my sub. Never got bacon with my chicken and never told me they were out. Or offered a replacement for my bacon. This employee clearly didn’t care or understood the meaning of customer service. If he truly hates working he should just quit. Wasted my time and money on my worse experience in this Subway

I placed an order through the subway app, however at checkout I received an error message stating that an unexpected error had occurred, and to create a new cart. I didn’t think anything of it until a moment later I received an email stating that subway had charged my credit card for the transaction that supposedly had an error and didn’t go through. I called the location to verify if the order had gone through on their end, but no one answered. I then went to the location to verify if my order had gone through since no one would answer the phone. At the restaurant I gave a brief explanation to a worker what had happened, and he proceeded to roll his eyes and walk to his register. He then said that he didn’t see anything on his order list, and he wasn’t sure what we expected from him. We asked him who we could talk to, a manager, or a corporate number, and he said he didn’t have any number and to go to subway.com. At subway.com they have no callback number, only a complaint form that you need to submit. I understand the app problems were not directly the employees fault, however the anger and the level of attitude he gave us was uncalled for. He made us feel as if I we were criminals and all we wanted was the food that we had been charged for. When we asked for his name, he told us his name was Allen, however after we called the restaurant later that evening the same gentleman answered the phone as Paul. As we walked out of the restaurant he told us welcome to LA with a condescending tone. Please avoid using the subway app at all costs as it steals your money, and avoid this subway location as they have the worst service ever.

As someone that doesn’t go to subway that much, I had a good experience today! I didn’t catch the guys name since I was in a hurry but he was super helpful today and so kind too! Bless his heart! Also a dodgers fan?! That’s super cool! He deserves employee of the month!

This Subway is pretty good, the staff are friendly here and helpful. They put together a good sandwich. Ingredients generally are fresh and I've never had any complaints at this restaurant. The restaurant is kept clean and looks fine.

Very very rude, we wanted to get sandwiches but I needed to use the bathroom. The worker yelled and said hey there are no public restrooms. My husband said even for customers. He said no you need to go somewhere else. So we left.

The man working evening shift @ July 7, needs to be fired honestly. Shouldn t belong in retail or fast food. Unnecessary rude to everyone and when people couldn t decide right away, he was taking deep breathes and subtle growls. Slamming the sandwiches and ingredients. Had to bite my tongue on this guy.

Today, Sunday, 9:45am Feb 2020 Employee was very helpful. My complaint was that all the tables were dirty, left by the night crew of the previous day. With the high virus concerns, I was not too happy. Sat night crew should be reprimanded.

I rarely write reviews. One thing I understand about Subway chopped salads, because I eat one every day, is that salad makers are instructed not to slam the blade up and down into the salad but, rather, to slide the blade through the salad along the edges of the bowl so that everything doesnt get violently slammed into mush. In addition, they are supposed to wait to add the lettuce to the mix until other ingredients have been chopped, because the lettuce is already shredded and to chop it turns it to mush. I know theres is a lot of suffering in the world, and I wont presume to know what my Subway server is dealing with today. But with a sullen attitude she turned my salad to mush AND she literally refused my reasonable request to cut up my bacon and pepperoni so that she could slam it into mush along with the rest of my salad. I dont live here, but my daughter does, and there are other Subway shops near her. Add the fact that they dont have any unsweetened iced tea, a basic staple of Subway sandwich shops all over the United States, and I wont be returning to this one.

Sandwich was good, but the woman who mde it had no idea what went into their rotisserie chicken sandwich. She didnt know what bread or veggies or what kind of cheese. I had seen a menu online which described it & thats why I ordered it. She was clueless, so I tried to remember. Wont go there again.

It says that I opens at 6AM! Arrived at 6:28, closed. So the sign on the store front now says 6:30. Waited in the car, no one opens the door. Called, no answer. No breakfast, not happy.

Fast, fresh, and friendly. Made it my way: tuna on Italian herb with red onions, toasted, with all the toppings I LOve. Can t get any better!!

If I could give a zero star I would, got a sandwich this morning from this employee, skinny guy, been there for a long time, you think he would know how to talk or handle a customer by now, but all I was asking before he makes the sandwich is make sure the price is $4.99, but soon when I asked him, he got irritated and told me to look up the price myself, and even makes me feel stupid saying the price is everywhere even on the window cant you read? I got pretty pissed after that, thinking hey if you fed up with the job why dont you quit? Than when I ask for a cup of water, the water taste funny so I got some vitamins water this guy knock the drink cup off my hand and spell all over the floor! Oh well now you gonna have to clean it up yourself! The whole situation could been avoided if this guy had some customer service skill but oh well he should been fired!

Never had any bad experiences here. Not much to say other than its like every other subway. They do keep it clean, which is good so you dont end up sitting on lettuce or meat.
