The Alhambra Aldi is fantastic! We always grab their pita bread to make pizzas after shopping. The staff is super helpful and has amazing energy. The only downside is the "quarter hustlers" who ask for carts, claiming they need them to shop but just collect quarters. They can follow you around the lot, which feels creepy. Aside from that, we love this store!

This market could be your favorite or one that you're not a fan of. They have been adding new locations across the country. It's a small market that sells almost entirely food products. They're known for their low prices and acceptable quality goods. In order to use their shopping cart, you have to insert a quarter in and sometimes struggle to get the cart back for your quarter. The products seemed that they're not taken care of that much. When I was there, it seemed that they had run out of bags for produce. I'd love for them to stock items into the shelves, but then again, you're still paying lower prices here than elsewhere. It's a bit like a distant relative of Trader Joe's.

Oh my goodness, the cashier with the purple hair is so rude. After ringing up 2 items, I didn't like the ridiculous high price. i asked if she can take it off and she said she cannot. She was too lazy to ask her manager to take it off. They seem to hire just anybody. I don't think I will go back to this location.

I used to love coming into this Aldi. Michael gave us a bad customer service experience. He was following us through the store while we shopped. At the end he also got the nerves on asking for our receipt. He should be security. Felt very uncomfortable and won't be coming back to shop here again.

Unfortunately the worst store. Aldi used to be my favorite store when they opened in 2017 but recently I see more crowds , less stocking of items. Even if the store has items stocked it will be gone within hours especially during Wednesdays. I would prefer to go to other Aldi stores

Unfortunately the worst store. Aldi used to be my favorite store when they opened in 2017 but recently I see more crowds , less stocking of items. Even if the store has items stocked it will be gone within hours especially during Wednesdays. I would prefer to go to other Aldi stores

They require a quarter to unlock shopping carts & there were no baskets. Had to leave and go to Target across the street because it’s 2024 & I don’t carry cash or change 🙄 I literally never leave reviews but I just felt like that’s such an inconvenient and oldschool policy that it needs to affect their rating.

I like the low price the have, cheaper than COSTCO for a lot of them. On the downside, not a lot of selections. Item you buy may not be there next time. Time at the register has improved since they added the self checkout. Still don't like to have to look for a quarter to get a cart in this day and age where I almost never use cash.

Definitely less expensive than most grocery stores but all sale items were sold out day one of sale and the variety of items is more limited than other grocery stores. I would plan to have to supplement by going to another store.

I shopped here for the first time; mostly no name brands but prices are nearly 50% cheaper. Not a lot of variety but your dollar goes much further here. If you're struggling like everyone else in this economy making ends meet, give this place a try. You check yourself out and you pack your own groceries so don't forget to bring bags.

I love Aldi. The Alhambra Aldi is my go to grocery store because it has cheaper prices on groceries, especially shelf stable goods. I also like their special deals that are products from other countries. For the special deals, you need to make sure to grab the things that you like because they may not be available the next time you visit.

This my go to market for a few things. Especially some wine, kombucha, and fruits are a great price. Especially strawberries and berries. They also have a home accessory asile that is pretty useful.

I always find what I need. I was happy to find so many great cheeses and meats for my Christmas charcuterie board. Great prices on cheese, chicken, fruits, and veggies. There was a helpful associate to assist at check out that went to the back and got a heavy cream. Self check out is card only, no cash.

This place seems so depressing inside, maybe due to the lights being so dim. I just went for a dressing my friend had that was super tasty: zesty Italian, aldis brand!!

Bought a couple more things but not my favorite place to shop for sure. Maybe I'll go again...idk

A fancy Aldi that has Self-checkout which makes things faster. I went on a noon weekday & there were so many peeps doing their grocery shopping, I guess Alhambra is a pretty well-off neighborhood to have so many customers & self-checkout. I like looking at the weekly Wednesday Aldi finds but I guess since this Aldi is so busy, many finds get sold out quicker. Grocery prices are still the same across all Aldi. I think since there's self checkouts there was much less waiting for 1 cashier to scan your items, tho there is still at least 1 cashier line in case you want them, Aldi cashiers are already on a timer so they are kinda forced to be fast.
Nice bathroom, quick service even with lots of customers, same items as other Aldi.

Love Aldis. Not overly huge like costco or target or Albertsons. Good produce quality and small enough to pass savings on. It's somewhere between Costco wholesale pricing and an Albertsons like mom and pop kind of chain. Good deals can be found and it's a tidy little alternative to the main Chains. The parking, like most shared lots, is hit and miss at times.

Always like coming here, some really good deals. My one complaint is, seems everytime i go, theres a couple of things in my shopping list that are always out of stock. Either things fly off the shelves fast and im always late, or they just stop stocking them. All in all, its a nice place to do some shopping.

I have never been to one of these markets, and now I know why!! I was brought here because of social media and let me tell you something it was like walking 🚶‍♀️ on a last chance purchase store!! Why do I say these? Well, to start the store is almost empty 😕 😬 didn't find the items I was looking for, and the shopping cart needs a quarter to use it wich is good like that it forces people to do the right thing by putting the cart back were belongs, but in my case my quarter was stuck and I wasn't able to get a shopping cart out I went in to ask for another one and the cashier told me No that one is mine! I told him ok. Ok , I look elsewhere 🙄 👀 😒 I mean, I was going to give the quarter, but I guess not! Anyway, do not recommend or maybe find out before going if they are fully stock like that you do not waste your time.

Cómo cerca de las 9pm hoy 6- de mayo 2023 fuimos Aldi market es la segunda vez que vamos. Desgraciadamente el cajero que me atendio no nos quiso atender nos mandó a la máquina muy groseramente. Nosotros mi esposo y yo fuimos con el cajero porque llevamos una botella de vino y pues teníamos que mostrarle la identificación. El hombre parece que no le gusta trabajar porque la primera vez también fue grosero. Le pregunté algo y te dice grosero y no mira a la cara te señala y el volteando a otro lado

This is my favorite new store with their prices and no questions return policies. I stopped going to the 99c store after they went hog wild, doubled and tripled their prices on less than fresh produce. So much for 8% inflation :)

Aldi's is owed by the same company that owns Trader Joe's but has different things you can't find at regular stores or the same things as Trader Joe's. They have reasonable prices and lots of keto snacks and unique items like banana milk and ghee. It's fun to explore. They have a limited number of vegetables but you can't buy a lot of things individually. They come in packs of two or three. It's a fun experience to go there. They take EBT also as a form of payment as well as credit cards and cash.
There's a nice man that works there at nights and he always greets you and calls you "young lady" as he asks you how you're doing. I am 53 years old! Haha.
The one drawback is you have to have a quarter ready to stick in the slot to get a cart, but you get it back if you return the cart to the same place you got it from in the front.

One of the largest, newest, and safest Aldi's in the Los Angeles region. Aldi consistently has the freshest produce for the lowest prices. Even lower and better quality than Costco occasionally. They don't quite have the selection of other supermarkets, but they certainly play to their strengths

Decent price on house brand. They have an interesting shopping cart setup. It requires a quarter to unlock it. The quarter is return to you when you lock the cart backup. The problem is I don't carry cash with me. So I had to shop without a cart. Kind of annoying.
