CHICHA San Chen - Alhambra

Currently in soft opening and it’s as good as the other locations but with less of a line. Highly recommend this place and you probably can’t go wrong with anything you order here. They approach how they brew tea in a way I haven’t seen here in the states.

Take the making tea to a new scientific level. I've never seen so much measuring, checking temperature and weighing out the exact amount of tea, water and anything else added to the tea for a finished product. Truly a made to order cup of tea that is much more flavorful than the average boba tea shop. Worth it!

Kind of expensive for a 12oz cup of tea but the tea flavors are on point. Konjac jelly has a really great texture and their mousse is thicc.

You're here for the experience of one of the best boba tea shops coming out of Taiwan. Their focus is quality tea that you can really taste.

Came here during their soft opening a few days ago and I have never experience any Chicha location that empty. Obviously this will change once their officially up and running. During peak times, it's up to an hour for a drink because of how many orders are queued up.

Bad service - Was not allowed to add more sugar to drink because by company’s standard, “Perfect”, is the most amount of sugar they can add. The drink was simply not sweet for me and they insist on not letting me add more sugar to my drink… Very stubborn staff and does not care for customer experience.

Many milk teas have similar names, so it s easy to order them incorrectly. After waiting in line for half an hour, I got a milk tea without milk (the online description of a tea with the same name said it had milk). I told the clerk that I could pay more and asked them to add milk. The clerk said that it was all prepared. I was not allowed to do this, and I was asked to pay for another drink. But I just want to drink milk tea with milk... Anyway, I waited in line for more than half an hour and drank a cup of tea that didnt taste good.
