My wife and I come here 2+ times a month as we love it here. The food is freshly prepared and is always delicious. Zach took our order today and he and everyone all ways makes us feel welcomed.

September 2024: braised beef & mushrooms and tomato basil soup are mouthwatering. The organic green tea was great.

July 2024: Food and drinks are great. We ordered the delicious grilled grass fed steak, braised beef & mushrooms & garlic shrimps with tomato basil soup. Their watermelon pineapple is refreshing. The place is clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

had an exceptional dining experience at Urban Plates, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Robert and Angie. Robert, in particular, stood out with his helpfulness and friendly demeanor. During our last visit, he not only assisted us with our meal choices but also answered all our questions with great patience and knowledge. Casual atmosphere with reasonably priced and delicious food. I had a hard time deciding because they had many items to choose from, hot dishes, sandwiches, salads or combo options of sides and protein. Asian chicken noodle salad was flavorful and chicken was grilled and tender. Large portions. They have many gluten free options as well as vegetarian. Order at the counter and food delivered to the table. Was busy but food came out quickly and staff were super friendly.

I come here often and absolutely love it. The staff are always helpful and friendly, and the quality of the food is very high for the price. Just about everything I've had has been very good, but the grilled chicken dishes and the mashed potatoes are excellent in particular.

We just moved to the area and Urban Plates has quickly became a favorite spot of our whole families. From the delicious food to the amazing staff (shout out to Sandy and Zach!) for making the whole experience amazing!

Urban Plates is such a great spot! The food is always fresh, and the variety on the menu makes it easy to find something delicious. Sitali and Nathan work there, and they’re amazing—so friendly and helpful! I had a great experience, and the atmosphere was super welcoming. Definitely a place we’ll keep coming back to!

I came with my partner and we had an outstanding dinner. The environment was welcoming and quaint, complimented by unique indoor greenery. Our servers, Izzy and Loli were exceptional, greeting us kindly and providing a lovely atmosphere for us two. I got the grass fed burger with lightly seasoned fries, while my partner got the bleu cheese steak sandwich, and the food was just incredible, seriously! This is our new favorite restaurant in Aliso Viejo and we’ll be coming back more times than we can anticipate!

I’m not sure if the meat is cooked in big batches and then meals are created but my sandwich was terrible. The chicken was cold. The bacon was cold. My fries were cold. We had to literally go home and put everything in the microwave. It was my first time here and my last unfortunately.

Super yummy! 😋 Stopped in for a quick lunch before getting to a meeting and had a great experience at Urban Plates. I was serviced by Zac, who was kind, patient, and very knowledgeable about the menu. I appreciate that Urban Plates has something for everyone and that the menu features vegan, dairy-free and gluten free options, a with everything made from ingredients that are clean and wholesomely sourced. I went with Zac’s recommendation when deciding between two options and it was a great choice!!

Despite it being lunchtime, my food came out quickly and was nice and hot and very good. I’m grateful that Urban Plates is somehow able to keep prices reasonable while still providing quality meals for the community. Very helpful for the college students nearby, I’m sure! Thank you Urban Plates, and thank you Zac!! I’ll definitely be back.

Atmosphere is an uncertain warehouse, meaning they don’t fully commit to that look. Sort of cafeteria style.
Went there for takeout Thanksgiving. They couldn’t find my call-in order. Turns out it was under my first name. Oh well. Food was excellent. Price was too. Their marketing was superior bc I waited till last minute and had to use Google. Their name came up near the top and I otherwise wouldn’t have thought of them.
Great meal. My guests loved everything. Me too. I mean I loved everything too. The food, I mean.
