FOOD POISONING Got good poisoning here from their nachos. I suspect it was the sauce, which felt barely room temperature. It must have been sitting out for quite a while. It was the only thing I had eaten that day, and the symptoms developed a few hours later. Because of this food poisoning I was unable to enjoy the rest of my weekend at the park since I was confined to my room and bathroom for days. I tried contacting Disney after seeing my healthcare provider - to at least notify someone this happened on property. I lm the end I left feeling frustrated from being shuffled around different departments l, and then ultimately never contacted. This unsanitary issue seems to continue to happen here as I see other reviews mentioning food poisoning. Unfortunately this not the magical experience or customer service this company used to stand on. What a shame.

Had the burger, lobster nachos, and a pizza port blonde to wash it down. The nachos were hefty and tasty. Couldnt say the same about the burger... It would have been a lot better if the burgers bun was toasted and the onions were cooked plus a bit more sauce on the burger. The ambiance was nice.. sat at the bar, service was on point, highly recommend trying this place out.

We checked in on the app and were happy to get a spot pretty quickly. I got a mocktail and it was a fun little soda drink but we also got a drink like an iron mule drink but it was a pretty strong drink ;). Great refreshing outside seating area at the bar with plenty of cute pictures and friendly staff all around ready to help you. I loved this little eatery and definitely want to try more here.

We were visiting Disneyland California Adventure on a Monday and around 7:30pm, we tried to eat at a few restaurants but were not able to secure a table without reservations. One of the restaurants recommended us to try the Lamplight Lounge. We put our name on a wait list and were told that the wait was 30 minutes. But we got lucky and only waited for 15 minutes to get seated in the restaurant. Lamplight Lounge serves bar food. The food menu was limited but has an extensive drink menu with variety of selections especially the cocktails. Food pricing was reasonable for a sit down restaurant at California Adventure. This restaurant is located right next to the water of Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure. The interior is decorated with Pixar memorabilia. We sat inside at booth table, by the bar, with a bunch of cars under the glass. We have the beautiful view of the pier, the Fun Wheel, Incredicoaster and Silly Symphony Swings. The food was decent for a lounge. After our dinner, we asked the hostess if we re able watch the World of Colors show at the restaurant. The hostess told us that they could move our group to an outdoor table so we could watch the show at our seats. The best part was that they didn t even pressure us to buy drinks or additional food to sit outside and occupied a table. In fact, the waitstaff was so nice and brought us hot and cold water to have while waiting for the show. The restaurant actually closed their doors before the World of Color show which was at 9pm. This prevented other people at the park to rush in the restaurant just to watch the show. The World of Color show was spectacular and the little ones in our group (and the adults, too) were mesmerized and it lasted over 20 minutes. Beautiful, panoramic water view and the lovely, attentive customer service will bring us back to Lamplight Lounge when we visit Disneyland in the future.

Went here for lunch. The food tasted great at the time, but put us out of commission after a few hours. It seems one of their food items might have given us food poisoning. Had to end our day short due to it. Probably once in a blue moon thing. Good tasting food, but beware.

I had considered Lamplight Lounge as one of better choices for food at Disneyland, but my recent trip proved it s just as bad as the park s stalls that sell overpriced carnival food. I ordered chilaquiles and they were disgusting. The chilaquiles were SO DRENCHED in sauce that some of the chips dissolved into the sauce. It felt like I was eating a hearty soup instead of chilaquiles. I salvaged what I could because I was starving. To top it off the service was alright. The server only checked on us once right when we were about ready to head out. I had told her of my dissatisfaction with the meal and didn t offer any sort of discount or apology. I m not entitled to either, but still, a nice thing to offer especially when I m paying $22 for this meal. Thoroughly disappointed. $22 for a meal reminiscent of pig slop? No thank you. Do better.

Lamplight lounge, located at Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure, is one of the most popular sit down restaurants in the park, and reservations are often hard to get. You ll need to keep refreshing the app to snag a spot. Recently, when the World of Color show was closed (from 9/9 to 10/22/2024), it was a bit easier to get reservations around dinnertime. However, now that the show is back, trying to walk in without a reservation will likely result in no available tables. We got lucky during our visit for the Oogie Boogie Halloween Party and managed to grab a 4PM reservation (the restaurant closes at 6 PM on event nights). One of the highlights here is the Lobster Nachos, famous for a reason! At $26, a bit pricey but definitely worth it. The restaurant also offers a great selection of beers. My husband was torn between two choices: Pizza Port Honey Blonde Ale from San Clemente, CA, and Mother Earth Cali Creamsicle from San Diego, CA. The server was super nice and brought him two small samples to try before deciding. We both voted for the Cali Creamsicle at $15. As for drinks, my cousin and I each got a non-alcoholic 2319 ($8), a refreshing mix of strawberry, coconut milk, pineapple, and Coke so good! With the sunny weather and the backdrop of the Incredicoaster and Ferris wheel, it s a perfect spot for snapping some photos. It s also a great place to relax, people-watch, and take a break. Definitely a spot worth checking out!

Made a reservation here for lunch. My partner had the monster nachos with steak. I had the pork chop with polenta. Nachos I would rate a 4.0. The pork chop at 3.8 out of 5. A very Latin rub on the chop. Nice flavor and looked beautiful but arrived to table cool. The nachos had great cheese etc but needed some sour cream. They also arrived a bit cool. The atmosphere was kinda fun. I would not eat there again. Folks only drinking at the bar seemed to be having the best time.

Excellent service and atmosphere was great!! However, our party of 10 waited quite a while for undercooked chicken and pork dishes, an overcooked salmon dish and steak nachos that had a couple bites of steak and cheese that was barely melted. Disappointed to say the least. I expected a much better meal, having spent as much as we did to spend the day at the park!

Awful queueing and welcome arrangements for a pre-booking, restaurant was late opening for brunch and guests forced (for no real reason) to walk halfway back down the boardwalk. No entrance sign. No explanation of how to check in on display. Reception desk completely abandoned. Instead of asking where wed like to sit (in an empty restaurant) it took three attempts to sit us at a table which met our requirements. Food took over an hour to arrive and when it did the eggs on the Benedicts were raw after we had requested medium. Instead of re-prepping the food it was reheated with different eggs. Food itself was a salt bomb and lacklustre. Up there with the worst restaurant experiences Ive had anywhere over three continents. I still tipped the poor server however, it wasnt his fault. Great location, absolutely wasted and crying out for a competent restaurant manager. Not in keeping with the standard elsewhere in Disney Parks, unless things change - avoid, go to any other DCA eating spot instead, theyre all miles better.

The price was reasonable as well. Came out to be just under $100 for 2adults and 2kids Kid-friendliness: Two choices of side and a mill or drink of choice. View of the paranormal view of pixar land.

My family raved about the lobster nachos (not being a seafood person, I didnt have any). I had heard they were small, but they definitely were not. The view across the water is just gorgeous too, especially around sunset. Service was practically nonexistent, though. They were pretty rude at check-in, and then they didnt offer us any straws for our waters or really pay us much mind at all during our meal. Regardless, wasnt a big enough deal to ruin what was otherwise a very nice meal.

I was in a Wall-E themed outfit, so of course I had to get the Find Your Spark cocktail! The patties of the Angus Beef Sliders were so juicy and it paired well with the Toasted Hawaiian Pretzel Buns. My wife and I were here for our anniversary trip and decided on the Lamplight Lounge for dinner. That was an excellent idea! After having spent an entire day in the park and being extremely tired, we arrived and were seated immediately. That was a good start. Our server came over in a short manner and took our requisite water order. We already knew what we wanted and got the Lobster Nachos and Salmon Poke for appetizers and we both ordered the Salmon PLT with fries. The nachos and poke were on our table in about 10 minutes and were amazing! The Nacho ratio of Lobster to chips to toppings was beyond phenomenal and they were extremely tasty to boot! The Poke was amazing and had a great amount of both Salmon and accouterments. Our sandwiches were next and did not disappoint. The salmon was prefectly cooked and mixed well with the pancetta and aioli. The fries were pretty solid as well! The atmosphere of the restaurant was lively and fun and was very well appointed with Pixar memorabilia. Overall, if we were going to be in California Adventure again, we will definitely be back!

Hostesses were extremely rude and unprofessional. When asked - would it be possible to switch a table? , they answered - no, because you re a low level walk-in. We only give the best tables to guests who made reservations. If you want to switch a table, you gotta wait another one hour outside, standing exactly at the Pixar Tshirt, only move when I call you. Ok I understand the logic - but why the need to attack a customer who is trying to dine at the restaurant? A power move to ask a customer to stand at an exact location for an hour, or else would lose the chance to dine at your place. Ok - I will just leave and dine somewhere else in the Park. Thank you for your great heads up. If you want to be mentally and or physically dominated by Lamplight Lounge, if that s your thing, please dine at this place. Remember to walk in. Do not make a reservation.

The food and wait staff were very good. We had a 7:40pm reservation which the restaurant was not ready when we arrived 5 minutes early. Around 8pm they tried to seat us in an area where the kids would need to eat in their lap, which I told the hostess wouldn t work. She explained we would be required to wait another 45 minutes for a real table, despite having made a reservation months in advance. We were told it s the best they can do, while seating an adult group five minutes later at a real table. My issue is I had to complain to the manager who got our wait down to 20 minutes, but it was still poor management and planning on the restaurant s part. Don t over book and you won t have these issues. Also, don t blame your customer based on our preferences - the fact that we have young kids - as the reason for the issue. Lamplight knew we had young kids. They tried to pass the blame on us rather than apologizing for overbooking our time. 3 stars based on our poor experience. They have great views of the water / light show. Just be weary making reservations here. Reservation is a loose term with management.

My son and I just ate a Lamplight today for lunch. We have eaten here before and had a wonderful time. So, today all was good - food wise. Service not so good. Our waiter forgot to put in our orders or forgot to pick it up from the kitchen - either way it was not stellar service. Finally got our food it was ..eh, probably because it was sitting around for awhile.. The worst part was when they gave us the bill , it was one price. I gave them my credit card to pay, the bartender took it and as I am watching he started whispering to a couple other bartenders. He brought the bill back to us with 18.00$ more added on????? I asked what happened his response was he didnt charge you for a drink OK stuff happens, I get it ....BUT , all the whispering right in front of us, no mention to me at any time about why the increase, and then to receive a higher bill.....left me to wonder, Wow, DISNEY customer service is slacking. Lets be real all the bartender had to do was bring the issue immediately to my attention by explaining what happened. No big deal , right. But that is not what happened. Provide better customer service DISNEY, Dont just change the bill without taking accountability for your mistake - hoping a paying customer wouldnt notice . Well, I noticed. I didnt appreciate the oh well attitude from the bartenders. No apology was given to us. Paying the extra money on the bill is not the issue - the way Disney @ Lamp light lounge handled it was rude and unprofessional to the customer and from my point of view , sneaky as well. It was like they thought I wouldnt notice. No such Luck DISNEY, do better!!!!!! For a place that prides themselves on customer care....AGAIN , do better DISNEY , you failed at that today.

The al pastor pork chop is phenomenal though, its actually the best pork chop Ive ever had! I cant recommend it enough, it was probably the best meal we had during our Disneyland vacation. We had heard good things about this place and how hyped up it was so we wanted to try it out. We heard you are supposed to get on the waitlist in the morning so that is what we did. We walked up and got on the waitlist in person. They texted us when the table was ready. We went downstairs and outside on the dock/pier area. We were given the brunch menu. It was then that we realized there are two separate places. The full restaurant upstairs, and the lounge which is downstairs and they have two separate menus that you cannot mix and match from. We ordered three alcoholic drinks, and one nonalcoholic. We had heard these concoctions were amazing, but to us they were lackluster. We ordered the flautas and the chilaquiles to share. It was definitely sharable. The food was good but nothing to knock your socks off. The bill for 3 alcoholic drinks, one nonalcoholic, and two entrees was $125, so be prepared for Disney prices if you know what I mean. To us this meal was not worth $125 in the slightest. The atmosphere was cool being around pixar pier but even the service was what you would expect at a casual dining restaurant elsewhere. We left feeling underwhelmed and confused as to why everyone said we had to come try. My advice is do some research beforehand to understand the layout of the restaurant and the menus, and what menus they serve when. See if anything spikes your interest, otherwise the hassle of trying to get a table and make it over there when they text you I think is not worth the hype.

The lobster nachos werent amazing like how everyone raves about them. We had 5 people, 5 entrees, 2 had issues with them. One was a kids meal that was supposed to be an allergy meal. The pasta that we ordered had a metal wire from a scrubber. We flagged a waitress and told her, she said shed tell our waiter. Our waiter comes back with another pasta, but the pasta had goldfish on it, which is the part of the meal that has the allergen. He must not have realized this because he left it then he came back to ask if the first one had goldfish. He eventually returned with a third bowl of pasta. Another one of our entrees had a hair on it. Im not sure how they cook things here but whenever our waiter came back with the replacement, it was very fast, so fast Im not sure if they remade the dishes or if they just picked things out. Our waiter never really apologized or acknowledged the mistake other than taking off the charge for one of our meals, which was nice, although it was two things that were messed up. Food was just ok.

The Lamplight Lounge at Disneyland California Adventure stands out as a unique destination with its full bar, offering a refreshing array of adult beverages not commonly found within the park. Our visit encompassed both brunch and dinner experiences. Brunch was a true highlight, featuring a delightful array of dishes that left a lasting impression. However, the dinner offerings fell short in comparison, with a somewhat limited selection. Its important to note that reservations are typically necessary, although spontaneous walk-ins may find luck on occasion. Lamplight Lounge remains a convenient choice for guests seeking a relaxed dining experience accompanied by a well-crafted cocktail while exploring Disneyland California Adventure.

We went to try their famous lobster nachos and we also ordered a salmon blt. Sadly it just wasnt worth the hype or the price (2 drinks, lobster nachos and salmon blt $95) . Our order took like 45 mins to get it and when we did it was cold. Im not talking lukewarm no it was cold you could see it in the cheese. We wouldve said something, but our server came by once to drop off the drinks and then to return my card after I gave it to someone else because he never stopped by :/ I was pretty disappointed, but the ambiance of the place itself was nice. We sat outdoors and it was a nice clear day the view of the pier was nice as well.

==2024== Advance reservations are required. If you have the Disney app on your smartphone, you can check in and receive a notification when your seat is ready without having to wait in the store. This time, although it was winter (the outside temperature was around 5 degrees Celsius), we were shown to a seat outside. I didnt feel too cold because the heater was on my back. Due to the weaker yen and higher prices, I felt the prices were higher than before, but since the portions of the meals are large, its just right that I feel like I may not have ordered the amount of food I ordered. Its perfect for having one luxury in one stay. This is a restaurant for adults.

We went for dinner to celebrate our twin s birthday. We were sat outside in an area that had no heater. We were cold. The restaurant has a very limited food menu. The potato skins are actually more like hashbrowns. These are not potato skins at all but they were flavorful however they were cold. The Brussel sprouts tasted good but also cold. The salmon BLT my kid ordered was quite nice. The burgers were okay, but again, cold. Regarding the birthday, Being a Disney restaurant, we definitely were expecting some Pixie dust . There was nothing special, this is not the usual in a Disney Park. The only positives: 1. The lady with bangs and glasses in charge of refilling the waters and clean the table. She Did a great job. I am sorry we didn t get her name. 2. The location with a nice view of Pixar pier. If you go later in the evening, you can watch the World of Colors show from there.

Server was rude Food was good but the service towards the end was really terrible. My group and I were not being loud or obnoxious inside of the restaurant yet our server gave us attitude the moment our initial server had to go on break and introduced the new server to us. We were aware and moved on with our time in Lamplight lounge enjoying our food and decor. We are over the age of 21 and some of us ordered alcoholic beverages since we were sat by the bar area and wanted to try the fun-themed drinks. After all more than half of the menu was alcoholic drinks. We all showed our IDs to our initial server and mentioned to the host before being seated that we are of drinking age since they asked us and we informed them with proof. My friends enjoyed their drinks and offered those who did not order alcoholic drinks to try theirs. As soon as we passed them to each other, the second and rude server who was tending to us immediately snarked at us and we apologized for any miscommunication or misunderstanding that occurred. We explained to the server that we are of drinking age and just wanted to try the drink our friend offered to us. We all showed our IDs again and she said, Okay, but I cannot have you all pass drinks like that again. We were all baffled by that comment and explained to her we are paying customers who have the right to try each other s food and drinks if we want to. She does not carry the Disney etiquette at all either. We left multiple complaints about this server and we did not leave a tip for that server yet we noticed in the bill she already included a 15% gratuity for herself only since it included her name and not the initial server to which we tried to tip but had no way in doing so without also tipping the rude server. We were cordial and respectful (even though she was not so respectful nor nice with us) towards this server and even asked why it was a problem to try each other s drinks which we paid for and showed all our IDs prior to ordering them. She only shook her head and gave us a smirk. Not a complete answer to make us understand why it was a problem to her or the restaurant. She never checked in on us, never asked if we wanted more water, never was around to ask for anything else and whenever we tried to call her attention she would ignore us. The only time she came around was to grab our plates without asking if we were done and for the bill. Very rude service from her and I hope she is aware of her attitude towards others that may face her as their server. I will not be name dropping but I will share our experience that occurred at Lamplight we only wanted to experience that Disney magic yet she ruined it by her attitude towards us for no apparent reason. I hope the manager or whoever hired her looks into her service because that was very rude of her to react/act like that towards us.

We had the Salmon PLT, the Cheeseburger, and the Nachos. All were good, but the sandwiches were very saucy and messy. Ordered a Gin and Tonic, but got a Gin and Soda water..... not the same, so not as good, but thats ok. The beer was very good. Finally got a reservation here after refreshing their dining webpage for days. I was so excited hearing and reading so much about this place..... I was thoroughly underwhelmed especially for Disney standards. A lot of cool decorations but the ambiance was relatively ordinary. My nectar in the rye was very imbalanced. I love spirit forward drinks but this one wasnt it. Maybe it was the ingredients or something but it was just a funky (not in a good way) drink. The lobster nachos were pretty tasty and its just a huge heaping pile lol. Not exactly the easiest way to eat nachos but hey, theres a lot. I wouldnt say its anything spectacular though... and I wouldnt say its worth the reservation/wait times at all. The al pastor was something else. The meat itself was quite tender and had great flavors. It was a little bit dry but thats why theres sauce and polenta! The pineapples and veggies made it perfect. However, theres just not enough of it or the polenta so that was disappointing as a whole. I heard nightmares of rude cast members here but I didnt really get that. Except when World of Color started and I asked my server if I could go watch outside, which she said of course. When I stepped foot outside a CM instantly barked at me telling me to get out or find a seat. Food: 7/10 Service: 5/10 Vibes: 8/10 Value: 4/10

This place used to be called The Cove Bar until a couple of years ago right before the pandemic. It was my favorite restaurant in DCA until they completely changed the menu and not for the better. The famous lobster nachos are still on the menu but they arent nearly as good as before, are far smaller portions nowadays and they cost a lot more than they used to. The alcoholic drinks arent as good either. They now taste REALLY watered down! (Perhaps to make a lot more money.) It seems that the quality that Disney Dining had at its restaurants both at the Disneyland Resort and at Walt Disney World have really drastically declined recently. (My family got extremely sick eating at a restaurant at Walt Disney World last year!) The only real perk of eating at Lamplight Lounge these days is the light show at night, but the long waits and the price for food and drinks here really arent worth it any longer. My family now prefers to eat outside of the DL park over Disney dining. Its far cheaper than eating inside the park and its a far better value if you are willing to put up with the inconvenience of leaving and re-entering the park. The servers are nice here but they get really busy and it really makes it difficult to leave on time after finishing your meal.

When: 8/19/2023 around 2:30pm Overall: (9/10) The food was delicious, definitely some of my favorite food in the park. The view is cool if you get to sit near the water. The inside of the resturant was a little underwhelming for being such a popular disney resturant. It had cool elements, but sitting outside was a highlight. The service...THE SERVICE was awesome and really made our time there especially all the food recommendations! Server: Kenny - His service was 10/10. We are so lucky we got him. This was my first time and I had no idea what to get I asked Kenny for recommendations along the way, both food and drinks. He is clearly a fellow foodie who knows his was around the menu. He gave us both food and drink recommendations that we ended up loving!! He shared his love for various food and drinks and was so attentive to our needs. His high level of service really made our whole experience and left us feeling so happy about everything. We were so thankful we had him serving us. If youre a foodie, hopefully you get Kenny! What we ate: Lobster Nachos (7.5/10) - they are a larger plate of nachos, check other peoples photos. It was a little soggy at the bottom. It was good, but if you like nachos it was okay, the lobster and the tortilla chips are really the highlight. Nachos in SoCal are bomb and cheap, so its hard to compete. Its really about the novelty of it being a scoop of lobster aside from that its like your basic nachos with shredded cheese, peppers, beans and pico de gallo. Ask for extra lobster sauce on the side, THAT SAUCE IS GREAT! and goes well with alot the dishes. Kung Pao Bao (8.5/10) - These were very flavorful and exactly what the name suggests. They are 3 Kung Pao Baos that are delicious if you love a mix of sweet and spicy, in a perfect little bao bun with peppers. It was probably the simplest dish we had, but I loved the sauce on the meat! Potato Skins (9/10) - 4 Deliciously battered mashed potato cakes that were fried to perfection with two sauces. It kinda reminded me of little corn bread cakes. Brussel Sprouts (9.5/10) - If you like brussel sprouts you need these. They are so cheesy and some of the better ones Ive ever had. Salmon PLT (9.5/10) - This was a Kenny recommendation and it was a hit at our table. So well balanced between the salmon, the sauce, bread and veggies. Even though we were starting to feel so full everyone loved it. It wasnt too fishy and it was well constructed and an interestingly good sandwich. I would have given this a 10/10, but even though I like tomatoes, the small tomatos inside it were a little too thick for my liking. I thought it took away from some of the bursts of flavor of the sandwich, because I was biting into a little juicy tomato. But to each their own. Ill definitely be coming back!! Kenny also recommended going to their brunch. Sounds delicious and we will be back. Kid-friendliness: We had a 6 month old with us and they made it pretty easy to dine there, they had a smaller high chair and where we sat outside it wasnt too noisy.

We made a lunch reservation two months ago on June 2. It says they open at 11:30am. So when we arrived for lunch yesterday (August 2), we saw they didn t open on time. When they did open and one of the the upstairs hostesses called our name, she took us downstairs to the downstairs hostess area. When one of the downstairs hostesses called our name, she actually tried to seat us along the bar! When I asked, why is she putting us here, she said, Oh, it s first come, first served for walk-in s. That, to me, meant our reservations were not honored! After clarifying we had a reservation and was confirmed, we were reseated in the lounge without an apology. We eventually received really good and friendly service from Sal (our server), and had the best lobster nachos I ve ever eaten. This is the only reason this place is getting an additional star/point (2 out of 5). Upon leaving, none of the hostesses (downstairs or upstairs) bothered to acknowledge us by, at least, thanking us for coming in or saying to have a nice day, etc. Yes, this is what I will remember about this place!

Food took forever to come out and each guest was underwhelmed with the quality and taste. Stone Fruit Salad had three pieces of fruit in it. Burgers sucked. Even the pickles and fries sucked. I absolutely love this Pixar inspired restaurant. Decorated with beautiful art work from their hit films. We seated outside and the view was amazing. We love people watching and we went during July 4th. Beautiful weather and it wasn t that crowded. After we check in with our reservations (highly recommend, 60 days out from when you want to visit via the app), we did had to wait 10-15 minutes for our table to be ready. After that we got a text and head on downstairs. I absolutely love the tater skins and al pastor pork chop. The tater skins had a delicious savory caper sauce. It was so crispy and fluffy. Never had them done like this before. The pork chop was spiced and Smokey flavored. The creamy grits and the spicy verde sauce tied it all in with the roasted vegetables. The jerk spiced Cornish hen was okay, didn t care too much for the collard greens. Their version of a mule was great and the goofball punch was a nice refreshing non alcoholic beverage. Service could ve been better. After they gave us our drinks and meal, they never came back for refills. Had to flag someone down for our ticket to pay. Other than that, I will definitely stop by again. Great sit down restaurant at DCA.

The nachos were very poor there wasn t one bit you could recognise as lobster and it tasted more of salmon. It wasn t good for $23. The screaming kids on the next table didn t help. The server never checked on me until I had finished (leaving half of the dish) and when I complained about the nachos just got a sorry about that have a nice day. No attempt to put anything right. I told the people that seat you on the way out I wanted to make a complaint and nothing. They smiled politely and nodded. They didn t take any details and it was clear they had no intention of attempting to put anything right. I was just politely brushed off. I even had to ask are you even going to mention it to the kitchen ? Oh and the total time for this two hours !!! Over $50 dollars and two hours for substandard nachos and a drink !! Very poor.

Food We ordered the famous Lobster Nachos. One of the items you must get here. We also decided to give these a try too : Michelada (with Modelo) Cheese Burger Watermelon Mint Mocktail (forgot the name of it) We enjoyed everything, and loved how the steak fries were nice and hot out of the fryer. The burger was very hefty and filling, and you could order the beef the temperature that you want it. One great thing to note is that they are mindful of allergies, so make sure that you do let them know. They do give you a allergy menu, but keep note that the menu is basically just listing out what is in the menu they have instead of having a separate menu that you can order. Hope that makes sense. Would definitely go back just to relax here and get some more food and drinks, a good break for adults from the waiting in the long lines. Until next time !

They have two vegan lunch options: the Brussels Caesar and the Pastrami-spiced Impossible Burger. I wasnt very hungry, so I ordered the Brussels Caesar, expecting a salad-like dish. However, I was surprised by not only its size but also by the very flavorful complements. The dressing was packed with flavor, and the addition of vegan cheese made it even more filling. If you prefer something lighter, this might not be the best choice for you, but otherwise, its a delicious and not boring dish. The ambiance was chill and fun, and the decor doesn t let you forget you re in the Disneyland Adventure Park. The service was really quick and the staff was friendly. My only complaint is that they were out of their only vegan dessert option (Brownie), so I didnt get a chance to try it. All in all, I highly recommend this place!

Love how they subtly play Electroswing. Thats always such a nice touch. We got a reservation to sit inside the restaurant but when we went it was so busy, so they sat us outside, usually would be an issue but the weather was actually nice and the view was stunning so no complaints. The Al Pastor pork chop was so delicious and the sauce is spicy but in a good way, the cheese puddle under is so heavenl and really cuts into that spice. I got the goofball island, one of my favorite drinks here however its a hit or miss sometimes. This time around it wasnt as sweet, but last time I got it which was a year ago, it was very sweet. Cant complain I drank it anyways. Truly a place for people who appreciate animation/ film/ Pixar movies in general or want good gives.

We were excited to get a reservation here for our Disney Vacation. The Lobster Nachos were delicious. They had lots of lobster and it tasted great- not too fishy. But the chicken salad was mostly the core of a head of bitter tasting lettuce so was sadly more stylish than delicious and not really edible. We highly recommend the 2319- a very yummy slushy with pineapple and Coca Cola which sounded weird but tasted great!

Wonderful experience here. Suck a beautiful view of the park, water and Mickey Ferris wheel. Food was delicious and extremely reasonably priced. The pork belly bao buns were the perfectly sweet and spicy, and the pork belly itself was so tender. My kiddos got cute little kids meals that were well worth the price and tasted great too.

The salmon burger was juicy and not dry, but the fries that it came with were my favorite. The lobster nachos are always delicious. My friends really liked the al pastor porkchop. I asked the server about the secret room and she says it s reserved for parties of 8-10 people and it s completely random so you can t request it or anything like that. Good luck! Service was amazing.

We came here back in September 2022, and we were blown away by the lobster nachos - they re so delicious! The portion was massive, and it filled us up. We had a good view of the water and the Incredicoaster, and the service was great. We can t wait to come back!

I was fortunate enough to be here on Jan 1st. on my birthday. It was my first time dining here with my wife by my side. The menu they have after 4pm. is just plain bar food so if youre expecting to have dinner here after those hours, all they have is a very small selection. I got the Lobster nachos which were very delicious and my wife ordered the burger. We had great seats outside next to the fireplace accompanied by some drinks. We were just in time to watch the show World of color! The restaurant was nice enough to allow us to stay for the show even though they close at 9pm. I will definitely come back to this place because it has a nice view in California Adventure right next to the faris wheel and seems to be in the middle of all the magic and the staff was very nice and comforting.

The service is good The food is not bad The reason for the 3 stars? ..I purposely get up early to reserve this restaurant 60 days before I want to dine there . I get the very first time slot (11:30) .I arrive 10 minutes early and check in .and then I am taken to a table in the cold and when I ask to be reseated they take me to the bar where my knee implant can just hang and cause me uncomfortable pain and when I tell them that to a table that the chair is lower than the table. We had to actually reach up to the table for our food. I might note the table seating all occurred in a 2 minute time span where we kept getting told we already have people for those tables .ridiculous. The person seating us made us feel uncomfortable. She acted like we were a total pain for not wanting to sit in cold, sprinkling weather .at a bar (the knee problem plus nether of us drink) We accepted the last offer even though there were at least 30 normal tables just sitting there empty. For this reason alone not sure I would book here again

This is always a must-stop on my Disney trips! I ve been 3 times now for both the lunch and brunch menu. My personal preference it towards lunch for the absolute must-have lobster nachos. Yes, they are as good as everyone says. The drinks are creative and fun, plus if you re lucky enough to be seated in the secret room, The Office, then you re sure to have an awesome time!

This was a cool location to sit on the water...thats about all I can say thats positive. The food was sub-par, especially the lobster nachos which tasted like cat food. Really not sure what everyone is raving about there. Service-wise, there was a solid 40 minutes between sightings of our server, and even when we did see them, wed get our incorrect order. When people are spending $20 on a burger and ask for it medium well or medium as our party did, dont serve essentially raw ground beef. Drinks were fine I suppose but that doesnt make up for it. We spent a lot of money on a pretty mediocre experience...I cant recommend this place over some of the much better food I had around Disney.

This was not worth the time or money and frankly was a big waste of our time in the park. The process to check in is not consistent. We checked in at our reservation time for a party of 6, and there was a wait from there. The hostess confirmed that we needed a place for the stroller and not a high chair. We got a text within ten minutes to be seated, so we go to the line where they say to return to be seated after check in, and a different party of 6 waltzes in and cuts the line. Even though I tell them hey were waiting too, theres a line here, the other host seats them. They get a booth indoors and we, a party with 3 kids, sat outside in the cold. I mentioned it to the cast members who seated us and I said the check in process really upset me. He didnt even acknowledge me. He just ignored everything I was saying! Didnt tell me who I could talk to so other guests dont have to experience the same thing. It was terrible, terrible customer service, especially for Disney. And then we had to endure sitting in the wind/cold weather with no heat near us just waiting for so long. It took 2 hours to get a drink and an appetizer. Our lobster nachos were so meh and not worth the money. It was really tasteless imo. The brussel sprouts were better. We didnt like the mocktails, though my one cocktail was decent. It was not worth the freezing cold and wasting two hours of our day in the park, and definitely not worth the money. I did not have any problems with the quality of the food or service anywhere else at Disney on this trip. I cannot emphasize enough how terrible this experience was, and I would tell anyone who asks to skip the Lamplight Lounge.

This trip we decided to check out the cocktails to go line. Dining reservations can be booked up to 60 days prior to your visit and sometimes if you are lucky you can snag a walk-up reservation if you get into the park in time. However there are times when you are just not sure what you will want and you wing it. My Mom wanted to try the Lamplight Lounges holiday drink before it disappeared for the year (Rumchata, peppermint Schnapps, and probably some cream topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon and a cinnamon stick garnish) so we decided to hop in the standby line. One group is allowed to go up to the bar at a time to get their drinks. There were about six groups ahead of us and I waited about 15 minutes before it was our turn. The bartenders and staff keeping an eye on the line are great. Waiting in line isn t always a bad thing, you can meet and chat with new people and it helps time go by. The drinks were great (same price and same size as you would get if you sat down) only difference is they are in a clear yellow to go cup. Of course the Lamplight Lounge has tasty bites and a variety of specialty drinks all with an amazing view (especially if you can get a reservation time close to the earlier World of Color show) but if you are looking for a cool, tasty beverage to wander around the park with (besides wine or beer) the to go line is the way to go!

Amazing place. I would recommend getting the nachos. They come with a ton of food and are one of the slightly cheaper options. I had the pork chop, it was delicious, however I thought there would be more than what was served. I all of it was absolutely delicious tho. I wouldn t recommend getting food for your kid here. The portions are tiny and the kids food isn t very delicious. You would be better off getting them dinner at one of the quick stops and then sitting down to eat here.
