Located inside fantasy land in Disneyland. This is a great place to take a rest from all the fun you’re having inside the most magical place.
There’s many seats available and ordering food is easy.

There is a free water fountain in case you want to rehydrate. Bring your little ones here or yourself got some pizza and quick bites

Red Rose Tavern - Disneyland Park, CA (Fantasyland Section)

Once upon a time, they had an amazing vegan patty but sadly, that's been removed from their menu. In it's place for the plant based option is the "Little Town Harvest Bowl" - "Quinoa, Roasted Mushrooms and Cauliflower, Arugula, Tomato, Tavern Potato Bites and Spicy Lime Aioli".

Normally, I'm not a big quinoa fan, most times I've had it .. it tasted bland to me and I imagined the dish would be an "earthy/healthy" sort of dish, which is great, but not what I was looking for at that moment. My wife wanted to try this however so we ordered one.

It was actually much better than I anticipated. The seasoning was really good, didn't taste bland at all, and the spicy aioli had a small but lovely *kick* to it, really helping to elevate the dish.
I had imagined the potato bites would be actual pieces of potato but that wasn't the case for our dish at least, as instead of "potato bites" it was full of tater tots, which wasn't a problem for us πŸ™‚

All in all, it was a good choice for us. It comes out of the kitchen super quick, it's a tasty bowl and probably more on the healthy side than not but doesn't taste like one might expect health food to taste (I'm sure the tater tots played no small role in that lol) and will probably end up leaving you fulfilled for a few hours at least.

The cheese pizza suck it was like a little kid made it for the first time barely any marinara sauce which didn’t matter anyway because the sauce was tasteless, I felt insulted for the price I paid for some kids pizza project. The Mac n Cheese was so tasteless and pasty you have glued two pieces of paper together with it. I don’t understand why Disney puts its customers under such horrendous torture by forcing us to eat their crappy food when there are so many well known establishments outside of Disney like Pizza Hut, Domino’s, Papa John’s, etc. In general most of Disney’s food is gross. Don’t fall for the bloggers they are paid well.

Horrible experience.

Woman who took our order was LISA P. She was rude during the whole transaction and got our order wrong, leaving out one of our drinks.

When I asked if they served beer here, she scoffed and said: β€œthis is fantasy land, we don’t serve alcohol here.” On their menu, it says β€œask about our seasonal brew.” Just a little misleading.

BUT, I will say whoever was playing GASTONE (from beauty and the beast) did a terrific job of making my daughter feel welcome and taking a pic with her. HE was fantastic πŸ‘

It also gets super busy in here and it can be hard to find seating. I did notice as we were leaving that there's a little room in the back right corner of the restaurant that I guarantee most people don't know about. Theming was pleasant. Just wish the food wasn't so... sad.

Visited during Spring Break which meant there were crowds of people all over the park so we needed a quick bite to eat while getting on more attractions with my family. We mobile ordered our food to skip the standby queue as it is more quicker. I opted for the Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich which was around 15 bucks, as it also includes a choice of tater tots or a cuties orange. The burger was phenomenal as it had chicken, bacon, cheese, and spinach on top of it, great combo if you ask me. My kids also loved the flatbread pizzas. Overall, a great quick service restaurant which is budget friendly.

I was so excited to eat breakfast and I got to the restaurant at 10:50am, where they told me that they had stopped serving breakfast, even though they are supposed to serve breakfast until 11am. The staff were incredibly rude when I asked about it, and I pointed to the huge sign display that still showed only breakfast options. They just shook their heads and told me "lunch only," very short and rude. When I got to the front of the line to order at 10:56am, they wouldn't even let me go up to the cashier until it became 11am. They literally just had me stand there at the front of the line until breakfast "timed out" without letting me order.

While the food was decent, it didn't quite match the excitement of being in Disneyland. However, the cleanliness and tidiness of the interior created a comfortable dining environment, allowing us to enjoy our meal without distractions.

My family ate at the Red Rose Taverne this past week, week of 3/18, and it was easily the worst food in Disneyland. I cannot recommend the food here, nor the atmosphere.

The food was barely edible, we all felt sick afterwards, and couldn't even finish the tots with the convection on it - it was the worst tasting thing we've ever had. But what made it worse was the smell in the restaurant. It was worse than the bathrooms at the park. I'm not sure what happened. But the meat in there smelled spoiled, the building smelled moldy, or sick, and just concerned how the health department hasn't gone through there.

Please don't lump this with our Disney experience. We had a great time, but when it comes to food, don't come here. Go to Bengal or Tikki or the carts through out the park. Especially go to the foods out in the District or the hotels, or at the California Park. But don't eat here. It's sad because I continue to see people eat this food here, and it's horrible for you and your family and tastes horrible. Especially not worth what you're paying for.

I went to try the famous Grey Stuff, but it was St. Patrick's time, so all they had was the Green Stuff. It was delicious! I love mint chocolate, so it was a wonderful treat, but even my husband who hates mint ate almost half of it because apparently it wasn't too minty for him! All in all, it was a yummy dessert. Sweet, but not too sweet. I'm not a frosting person, so I was worried that all the cream on the outside would be too much, but it was fine - and again, not overly sweet. I liked it, but won't get it every time I'm at Disneyland.
Oh, and mobile order is a plus!

One word: average.

We chose this quick service because of the reputation it has, and it has the Grey Stuff dessert. We were left slightly disappointed. It was just average food, nothing magical or special. I got the Salade du Jardin (9.99). It was a kale mix salad with roasted chickpeas, orange slices, dried cranberry, and a citrus vinaigrette. It lacked kale... it was just mixed greens. And with the oranges and the vinaigrette, it was too citusy. My partner got the Provincial Cheeseburger (13.29) with potato bites. It was a Big Mac. For dessert, we got the Grey (Grave) Stuff, which was renamed and accented with a grave stone for the Halloween season. Always delicious. That and Gaston roaming around the restaurant interacting with guests is what saved the experience. The restaurant itself is spacious enough. It has inside and outside seating. Looks like a tavern from Belle and Gaston's village. I would try it again for a 2nd chance.

Burgers were dry and overcooked. Terrible. I'm pretty sure they'd been sitting under a heat lamp for 30 minutes before they were served. The red velvet grey cake stuff was flavorless sugar paste. Chicken fingers were passable.

Disgusting. Ordered chicken sandwich . Tater tots fried till they were hollow grease lumps. Gummy tasteless buns, fake processed cheese. A frozen formed chicken strip they called a filet. Poor sad little dried up shard of something salty like bacon.
So many people just standing around not working. They could be making fresh delicious food.
Skip food at Disney period. I’ve tried so many restaurants in there. All frozen, warmed up garbage. Being in California you would think there would be some pride in the quality of the food they feed people. Sad.

The breakfast here was amazing. Beware this place does not open until 9am so my family had to wait a bit to order as we were not aware of that. But we walked right in at 9 and got our food immediately. Everything was hot and so delicious. I totally recommend the Gourmet Breakfast Sandwich. The English muffin was toasted so it had a bit of crunch against the fluffy eggs, and that maple spread added the perfect touch of sweetness. The sandwich is great!

This place is just simply amazing...Disneyland nailed it with busy parents on the go and in the need for a quick rest and refuel. Food is hot delicous but most of all it's served rather quickly. Plenty of seating in this establishment, pick between outside or inside dining. Food options vary from cheeseburgers , a chicken cordon Bleu sandwich, or some delicious Flatbread options. Kids menu is loaded as well. A must try over and over again.

I absolutely love this place. The staff is nice, helpful, and friendly. The food is consistently good. I love the gray stuff but the holiday gray stuff is my favorite. The tenders are tasty and pretty meaty. The tater tots are so good and crunchy the gravy is really good and not to salty. The strawberry tea was much better once we added some water. The location makes you feel like you are in a Disney movie. The Red Rose Tavern is a must try. Ten out of ten totally recommend. The chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich is really good. Doesn’t taste like chicken Cordon Bleu but the chicken is really good. The cold brew coffee was horrible. Must be Joffrey’s coffee. Which is terrible in my opinion. The tater tots never disappoint. Cause who doesn’t love tater tots. Please bring back the fries. Nothing beats the fries. We tell everybody to go there for the fries but there’s no fries anymore. Fries are a must!

I love the theme of the Red Rose Tavern, its really cute inside and reminded me of a good neighbour hotel somewhere in Germany.
We ordered the mickey pancake and the "Grey Stuff"
The food itself is tasty. The grey stuff is kind of like a pudding frosting with maybe Oreos in it. It's extremely sweet and way too big for one person. I was good after two bites. The pancakes are fluffy and of good flavor. The bacon was a little cold.
I had to take one star away because of the plastic plates and cutlery.
Disney can do better and more environmentally friendly, right?!

We ordered these short rib tater tots. My expectations were incredibly low, but they were incredibly tasty. We also go the pepperoni flatbread. This was also very good. Keep in mind we had eaten at the Pizza Planet, so compared to that literally cardboard with sauce would have tasted better and probably more filling.

Food was ready fast. We were able to find seating inside fairly easy, though had to wait a little bit. Food was normal levels of disney, but the portion sizes were excellent.

Visiting the Red Rose Tavern during Christmas Festivities, the menu had the holiday twists added. We needed to try the Holiday Cold brew ($6.29) and the Holiday Grey stuff ($6.49)

Holiday Cold Brew had eggnog flavoring to it, a decent cold brew. Good balance with sweetness and portion was okay. Would order again. This was our first time trying the infamous Grey Stuff. The holiday portion seems to be the additional sprinkles? A little piece of red velvet cake sat in the middle of the gray mousse, all on top of a red sugar cookie. This dessert was straight perfection. We will be ordering one for each of us the next time we come. Super tasty! Definitely take advantage of the mobile ordering!

So so so overpriced but what isn’t in Disney. Just a tad disappointed in the taste and quality of the meal. The hamburger was so dry and tasteless, with condiments it was fine. Fries were actually the highlight of the meal! My mom got a flatbread Margherita pizza which was also pretty good. Atmosphere was really fun, Beauty and the Beast themed obviously :). Probably pretty fun for kiddos. LOTS of seating options. I also got the pineapple night light and the taste was OK, but the menu said it would have pineapple purΓ©e on the bottom and it kind of just had chunks, had a cool flashing light ice cube in it though LOL.

The chicken was amazing - crispy and well-portioned. Ask for extra sauces, like ranch and BBQ, that they only have behind the counter. Grey stuff is super sweet and tastes like Oreos, with a nice cake filling atop a sable biscuit. Skip the flatbread, it’s a bit soggy with too much cheese.

The Red Rose Tavern line is always long and takes forever. The food is okay, but I’m mostly reviewing on this seasons cold brew. It is STRONG and WEIRD. The workers told us to stir it because it’s very strong, so we did, but it doesn’t have enough cream to balance out the super strong coffee flavor. I was a barista for years, and I really do feel like it is not going to be appealing to most people. It’s too strong and the caramel apple syrup makes it taste more like medicine and less like a yummy sweet drink. I really wouldn’t recommend paying $5 for something that is a risk. The flavor just really wasn’t enjoyable for us and unfortunately it was a waste of money.

This location only accepts mobile orders, so make sure that you order on the app well in advance of your visit, otherwise you might need to wait 40-60 minutes for the next window of availability. The biggest complaint, like all Disney food, is that you'll pay a highly marked-up price for a meal with little substance. But at least most meals here taste good.

As far as DLR quick service goes, this place is pretty good. This rating is a Disney specific rating, not a general restaurant rating. That would be more like 2 stars. However, for DLR quick service, it gets 4 stars. If you understand, or are familiar with DLR/WDW eateries, you'll understand the difference.

Red Rose Taverne is located in Fantasyland to the right of Pinocchio's Daring Journey, before taking the trail to Frontierland. RRT is a vast improvement to The Village Haus; I don't think I ever received a hot, or even warm meal in all the years we've been going to DLR. RRT has some new menu items and is re-themed for Beauty and the Beast.

The re-theming was supposed to be temporary starting in 2017, but still remains as of this review.

This restaurant that I visited was located in Disneyland, CA. You have to order and pay off their app and it shows a demo that your food is being prepared and once it's ready it'll show a green light letting you know to come inside and get your food. As with any food place located in such a setting the food is expensive. A small plain burger, bun with piece of lettuce and small order of fries (honestly a Big Mac looks more appealing) was nearly $12 and that did not include a drink! One order of fries was cold! Pretty disappointing. There are a few other items on the menu besides burgers such as chicken nuggets, chef salad and pepperoni flat bread (now the flat bread was GREAT!) and kids meal's. They offer a selection of vegan items, gluten free and soy free. Something for everyone!

Once your order is ready you go to the front entrance and show the door attendee. THEN your allowed to go inside and get your order where you can sit down and eat if seating is available or come back outside to the tables where you sit and place your order online and wait for it to be prepared. Just save your spot or it'll get taken!
