I had a fantastic evening last night at the ranch. Completely consistent food and steak temperature. The cocktails are always amazing. What made it the best was our server Brian. He was very attentive, but not overly. We had another amazing experience at this. And I look forward to coming back again soon.

I have to say I think this is by far the best steakhouse I've been to. In my opinion, it beats Ruth Chris. For appetizers the Cornish hen fried was delicious as appetizer. The macaroni and lobster what a delicacy. The 50-oz porterhouse steak what's two juicy to a perfection.

12/23 Been one of my favorite restaurants for several years. They usually have room at the bar if you don’t have a reservation, and the saloon next door is also super fun. Their lamb with polenta is fantastic, and they are always changing the menu with new and delicious items that never disappoint. The Ranch definitely knows how to correctly cook meat, and I am excited for their recent Michelin recognition!

Excellent service, our waiter Jesús was fantastic. We had two of the dry aged delmonica steaks and they were brilliant, perfectly cooked and very tasty. The scalloped potatoes were a little disappointing in comparison. The appetizers were good, nice tasty scallops and oysters, but I was very disappointed in the sticky toffee pudding. The wine list is very good, too, though they could decant the wines a little better (we had sediment in the glasses). Overall, I would definitely recommend this place, just skip the STP dessert and go with the waiters recommendations.

I have been fortunate enough to eat at some high end steakhouses. The Ranch is no exception. The service is top notch. Thee team at The Ranch is intentional, friendly, and intentional. They are very knowledgeable of the menu and our server, Joe, was able to offer insight on every menu question we asked. I ordered the prime rib which came with house scalloped potatoes and creamy horseradish and au jus. The cut was perfectly cooked, very tender, and full of flavor. The horseradish combine with raw horseradish was perfect. The au jus was flavorful and added just enough to the already flavorful meat. I finished my dinner with the Hazelnut Crunch Bar, which was amazing. I would recommend this single point restaurant to anyone looking for an amazing dinner. It is not a cheap date, but I would still say it is worth every dollar. The atmosphere is just right for a date, dinner meeting, or just a dinner. I will definitely go back when I am in Anaheim.

My friends and I went to this restaurant for the first time. They brought some bread with butter as starter. The bread was so delicious with 6 different flavors (such a great idea). The bread definitely was a 5. Then we ordered ahi tuna and artichoke as appetizers. The artichoke had too much garlic, overwhelmingly. The tuna was average as well. For entree, we ordered pork chop which was delicious and juicy, accompanied with some vegetables. The accompanied potato and bacon and the sauce were not great. Overall, I gave them 3 as the appetizer and the accompanied vegetables of the entree average for such an expensive restaurants.

Made a reservation which required a credit card to hold the reservation. I was told to call before 8:30pm the same day to cancel the reservation. I called back 3 times and left a text message from 7:30 to 9:00pm to cancel the reservation and requested a return call to confirm the reservation was cancelled. It s 9:02pm and still waiting for a call that the reservation was cancelled as requested. I expect better service from a high end establishment such as the Ranch. Food has always been excellent in the past but the owner should be made aware that he needs to improve the booking/cancellation of reservations.

Tonight was my first time at The Ranch. I ordered lamb chops and green bean casserole at the bar. Green bean casserole was excellent. Unfortunately, the lamb chops were fatty and greasy. Will not be coming back any time soon. There are many other resturant options in this area with better quality of food, especially at this price point.

Went here with my family for my wedding anniversary and had a wonderful experience. My wife and I shared the dry aged Delmonico and the kids shared a prime cut New York strip steak. Our waiter Brian took exceptional care of us after finding out we were here for our first visit and congratulated us when he learned of the occasion for the visit. Because we opted to share plates, the kitchen staff was happy to divide up the New York strip and beautifully carve up the Delmonico. Brain gave us suggestions for appetizers, cocktails, and also dessert (the quail and the beet salad were fantastic). We will definitely keep this place in mind when we want a top tier steakhouse dining experience.

Amazing food and service. First time here and was completely satisfied. I see these one star reviews and I automatically assume the customer was a pos. Customer isn t always right. If you want cheap steak and a nanny at your every beck and call go to Applebees. My reservation was 630pm wa seat at 625. Had drinks and apps by 630. Main course was served about 5 mins after we finished apps. Water refills happened without asking and as soon as our drinks were almost done the server was asking if we wanted another order. 10/10. Only down fall is price. But you pay for what you get. Food was EXCELLENT and I never write reviews.

Took my family to this restaurant. The food was awesome, but the service was absolutely terrible. The worst place I ever been to and the server was the rudest I have ever met in my life, asking me to clean up the table before he could grab a plate off it, the waiter job is to make the customer have a pleasant experience not to clean the table !! The waiters name is Joe B I hope the manager sees this post and Goes over customer service with the Server. I cannot recommend this restaurant Server Joe B was rude to everyone at the table and unattended, not asking us if we need any refills on drinks or checking back in on us after the meal was Served. We even decided to skip dessert because of the Server He made us feel uncomfortable like we were bothering him.

Cheers to The Ranch for staying consistent on quality ingredients throughout the changing economy. For the past 4 years we have seen a steep decline in 4-5 star restaurant quality, and our ongoing hunt brought us to The Ranch where it was an oasis of everything subpuerb. Shot out to a wonderful and very flavorful filet, a menu that reads like a fun adventure, and service that is truly impeccable. Keep it up Ranch, and dont waver: forwards ever backwards never! Note: Go here over Mastros, Flemings, Ruths Chris, and As.

I ve been coming to the Ranch restaurant for several years now for special occasions. Although I don t normally leave reviews I just want to feel heard. I went yesterday to celebrate my mother s 62nd birthday. I ordered the quail and the artichoke appetizers which were both phenomenal. The sauces they came with were amazing and I couldn t have asked for a better start to our family meal. Also, the Gin and Juice cocktail, I mean really, one of the best I have ever had, period. For mains we ordered the porterhouse done medium, twice baked potato, green beans and mushroom and the salmon. Where do I start. The salmon was basically raw and the snappers were not cooked. I m not a big advocate for complaining about food and I rarely do but when a dinner is almost $500 with tip I feel maybe the restaurant needs to know about my experience. I was really there for the porterhouse so I didn t get bothered. The steak with medium rare and the section next to the bone was blue rare and center cold. It was not seasoned and when requested to have it cut it was cut into maybe 5 large pieces total. This was very disappointing. The green bean appetizer was not cooked fully and the ends of the green beans were still attached. If that was not enough the bearnaise sauce was good, my wife s favorite, however the wine reduction sauce was 100% burnt. I requested a change in sauce and it came the exact same way. I was embarrassed to say anything and so was my wife and mother. To sum it up we took most of the food home and got full from the appetizers. I only get to have a dinner like this once a year with my mother and I just feel like I was let down on so many different dishes when the reason I came is because I have the utmost faith in this restaurant. I hope this was a one off occurrence and hope this gets corrected in the future. Previous experiences and yesterdays experience are night and day. God bless.

The Ranch is an exceptional restaurant that perfectly blends elegance with delicious, satisfying food. It s upscale without being pretentious, and while the prices are on the higher side, they aren t unreasonable. Each dish and cocktail is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, making it my top choice for a fancy date. I highly recommend starting with the quail tenders and beet salad. The menu offers an interesting twist on comfort food, making the whole experience even more memorable. Im a big fan of this place.

What an experience steaks are steaks which I think everyone will agree on. What separates the Ranch is the level of detail, service, ambiance, and SAUCE. My NY strip was cooked to perfection (only cut that is prepared sous vide) and JESUS was on point with everything my palette desired. Incredible service that rivals the Michelin restaurants I ve dined at. GM Chad put final touches on a dinner that I will forever remember. Kudos on the whole team and thank you for a memorable dinner

Feast your eyes on this review, where the grub was nothing short of lip-smackingly divine. The steak? Oh, it was a carnivores dream, grilled to a point of perfection that would make even a Michelin chef nod in approval. It wasnt just food; it was a flavor symphony playing the sweet tunes of Mmm and Ahh. And lets talk service - our server was like a ninja of hospitality, always there when your glass whispered for a refill, yet invisible when you wanted to savor your bite in peace. Attentive doesnt even cut it; this server had a sixth sense for when to appear with that Everything to your liking? charm. If youre looking for a place where your taste buds can throw a party, this is it!

I m rewriting my previous review because I wrote it from a broken heart. The sadness has begun to subside and I can admit when I say or do something wrong. I said some things I didn t totally mean, I was speaking from total devastation. I ve called this place home for nearly 10 years. I ve celebrated so much of my life here, built incredible friendships and made countless memories. However in the last two years, changes to management and suddenly enforcement of rules with no warning and no grace have turned this into a cold, cruel place. Everyone who cared about customers and who wanted to provide customer service that would bring people back again and again have been fired or have left because of all the changes. The regulars have left in droves. I attempted to celebrate my birthday here with my friends from church and from the dance community on Friday, Aug 9. Someone I considered a friend quickly and aggressively approached me to take down my decorations and when I referenced my many other parties and other peoples parties that have had decorations I was gaslit about my recollection being inaccurate. I have photos to prove my point. The manager, Alfredo, came over and aggressively handled the situation and offered me the opportunity to leave if I was so unhappy with the rules. An opportunity I certainly wanted to take but I had nearly 30 people on their way. I felt backed into a corner and fought back tears as best I could. I cried 3 different times throughout the night because of the harassment from Alfredo and security. If the rules are suddenly enforced, fine. But have some GRACE and understand the experience from our side. We ve been used to things happening a certain way and if you fired people because of it, just let us know what to expect. Educate us, don t come AT us. Alfredo is aggressive and intimidating. As a woman, I became fearful of him every time he approached my group, and it happened frequently. A friend finally asked him to please leave me alone because she witnessed his actions and words towards me all night. Whether we were standing in the wrong place near our table in a section of the restaurant that was COMPLETELY empty or too many people were ordering food from our table or being told all the things I ve done there for years are no longer acceptable, we were under constant scrutiny. I was humiliated in front of my friends every time he d come over to address things. Rather than pull me aside he d be a tough guy towards me and again and again back me into a corner to the point of feeling intimidated and unsafe by his bulging eyes and flaring nostrils. As a woman, being under constant surveillance by 5-6 grown men who watched my every move made me EXTREMELY uncomfortable and completely unsafe. This used to be an extension of my home, of my family but I was treated like a criminal. I d cringe every time I d look over and see security and management literally watching my every move. I grew up in a law enforcement home and was taught to always be hyper aware of my surroundings and I was hyper aware of how many men were constantly watching me. It was very disturbing. I used to defend this place and I have tried bringing in new people to help regrow the community. This place means A LOT to me and to the people who have been loyal patrons. It s brought so much life to us and to be treated so poorly is truly heartbreaking. I decided that night, before I got banned something I had to find out through a third party because they don t have the decency to spare me further humiliation that I will not be coming back to support this place. There are many other places around that don t police FUN quite as much. Of course rules are needed for the dance floor to keep people safe but the other rules are drastically changing the warm, welcoming culture this place once was. Be careful where you decide to spend your hard earned money.

All the beef is grass fed, which translates into much leaner steaks and prime rib. Leaner and I think less flavorful. I ordered prime rib and found it to be a little dry and bland. The cocktails are sophisticated and the collocated country dance bar is very popular. Very pricey for being just meh. For prime rib, I think summit house or even Gullivers is better.

It was not only beautiful to look at it but unique to eat! Last, we topped it off with espresso which was perfect and better than most other American coffees. Thank you Ashton for the great recommendations!

Only irritation was the bus person kept wanting to have us pack up food before we were done with meal...kept saying not done yet like 5 times..finally just said pack it up will eat it at hotel. It reminded me of olive garden where they want to turn over tables as fast as possible. Was hoping to enjoy after dinner drinks but was sat, fed, clean up in 1hour with a 3 people table. Nothing for nothing but for a 800 dollar tab would have like to relax. But overall it was good food.

Great ambiance, excellent food, service was good as well. Here s my recap: - porterhouse steak ($165) - was recommended but was just ok. Probably wouldn t order it again. I originally wanted the ribeye, but I was told that it was too marbled and not as good as the porterhouse. I m going to come back for the ribeye. - ceviche (3 ways) - very good! - bread - there were 6 different types of bread within the loaf. Not sure how they did this, but it was tasty. - creamed corn - the flavors were good but the texture of the corn was off. Not sure how to explain it but it was too chewy. - mushrooms - good. Didn t love the flavor of the sauce but it was cooked well and texture was perfect. - lobster Mac - so good. Must get it. - prime rib - very good. Wish it was a bit warmer but it was great. - salad - Caesar and chopped both were ok. Nothing special but solid. Definitely coming back. Overall great time.

Ordered steak medium came in well done. Order oysters, they were frozen. (Makes think if it is really farm to table.) Manager said to pick a desert for the inconvenience thinking it would be free, ended up seeing it on my check, so I paid for the desert. Maybe if I go again I will change my rating. Sorry still bitter about paying $680 for terrible service and food. Almost forgot, dont order the teramuse, you can get a hole cake at Whole Foods for the Ranch price.

With love in our hearts, the February meeting of EDDC was held at The Ranch in Anaheim. Cocktails are our appetizer of choice so we kicked things off with a Lock, Stock, & Barrel, The Ranch Water, and a Cucumber Martini. Harder on the wallet than the liver, the drinks warmed us up sufficiently for a bottle of Domaine Serene which didnt disappoint. Country Fried Texas Quail was next and while denser than chicken, the meat was flavorful with well seasoned breading that wasnt overwhelming. Steaks were on everyones mind so we dug into the Bone Marrow-Crusted Cape Grim Grass-Fed Filet, the Prime Angus New York Strip, and that nights special, Prime Rib. All of the meat was expertly cooked and the quality of meat was evident from the first to the last bite. Sides of cream corn and sweat potatoes rounded out the feast. Over slight protests of satiation, dessert was ordered and the Sticky Toffee Pudding didnt last long enough for a proper photo. After dinner we moseyed over to the saloon and were thoroughly entertained by the intoxicating combo of live country music, dancing, and cold beers.

The Ranch never disappoints. You may have to make reservations several days in advance but it is worth it. The parking is easy (self-parking or valet). The ambiance is dim and had a classy but not stiff vibe to it. Great for anything from a date, to business dinner, to celebration. My absolute favorite that I order every time is their prime rib with scalloped potatoes(currently $78). It is cooked to your preference and just perfect. I have tried many of their appetizers including the artichoke, ceviche, and carpaccio and they re all winners. Do not sleep on their desserts either! Any one of them are excellent. Expect to pay around $100-150 per person

My boyfriend and I love coming to The Ranch. The service and food here is amazing. We have been here multiple times for special occasions. We are always happy when Jimmy is the one servicing our table. They always help us feel welcome and comfortable. We are so thankful for people like them which are hard to find. We look forward to coming here for years to come. Thank you Jimmy !! We appreciate you :)!

I made reservations for Valentines Day the week prior. On Monday February 12th, 2024 I called in to cancel my reservation. I was told the reservation was canceled and I also received an email notifying me that the reservation was canceled. Tonight I just received a notification saying The Ranch had charged my card $100. So I called in letting them know that I called on Monday & canceled that reservation. I was then informed that I needed to cancel 4 days in advance not 2. Which at no point in time when I called in on Monday was I told I d be charged $100 for not showing. And nothing in the email said I was going to be charged $100 for not showing. Just that this guy at the restaurant said it was on Open Table when I made the reservation. (Never saw that) But if that were true then it would have been nice to have been told on the phone when i called in that there would be a $100 cancelation fee. I probably would ve reconsidered canceling. The gentleman I spoke with had a tone and demeanor about him that let me know he could care less that I m out a $100. Apparently his pockets are pretty deep and $100 to him is mere chump change and didn t have time to actually show any sort of empathy for the conversation. He told me there s nothing he can do to help me. Even when I informed him I ve got no documentation saying I m being charged $100 and was never told on the phone when I called to cancel. He still said to bad. I let him know I d be filing a dispute with my credit card if he is unwilling to do the right thing, and he said then that s what you should probably do then . So that s what I m doing. And I ll be happy to take my business elsewhere from here on out. As we ve frequented The Ranch regularly. So we ll see if I get my $100 back or if that s the last $100 they ll ever get out of me. Seems pretty silly to upset a customer over a misunderstanding of a cancellation fee. But in the end if it helps them keep the lights on, I ll chalk it up as charity.

I successfully won the auction bid for the Dinner for Two with wine pairing at our neighborhoods annual BBQ. I happily paid more than the listed value, and the experience exceeded my expectations! Our server, Jimmy, was exceptional in accommodating my dietary needs and communicating with the chef. Jimmys attention to detail and gracious service impressed all four of us at the table. Its no surprise, given my positive interactions with Jake Williams, the Marketing Manager, who arranged the dinner experience, Hope, the lead Hostess, made sure to communicate my requests to the server prior to my arrival. Finally, meeting Jordan OBrien, the general manager, was wonderful, he graciously checked in on our table and personally escorted us next door to the Saloon after dinner. The Saloon was a blast with a great band and wonderful guests enjoying themselves dancing all night. Purchasing a table is also well worth it as we enjoyed the evening comfortably. The outstanding generosity and hospitality starts from the top, making The Ranch a truly commendable establishment. Vegetarian options: They are willing to work with the vegetarian and dietary needs. Dietary restrictions: The hostess, our server, and the chef worked together to accommodate my dietary needs.

We dined here on Saturday night and had a fantastic experience. The food was great, but the service from our amazing Brazilian waiter was what made the experience so outstanding. We were a rowdy bunch of Australians, and he went above and beyond to make sure we were having a great night. Excellent food and wine recommendations and an unforgettable night. Thank you!!

I had high hopes for this restaurant based on the reviews, but I was sorely disappointed. It was my sons birthday and he requested this restaurant. We ordered ceviche trilogy, our waiter mentioned there is a blue carb which there was none, and how could you mess up onion soup? Which they did, tasted somewhat too sweet, the worst dish was the organic Jidori chicken with extremely over powering taste of liquid smoke, and leathery skin, besides the smell and taste of the smoke there was no other flavor, the clam chowder soup was tasteless. I gave it a two stars rather than one because my husband liked his Chilean sea Bass, but disliked the onion soup. My son liked his cowboy ribeye, but he disliked the clam chowder soup. It felt like they were cutting corners to save costs. I dont recommend this restaurant, overrated and overpriced for quality of the food they serve.

Management is terrible. We have been going regularly for a while. Manager shamed me for not spending a certain amount, even tho I was not told there was a minimum. I am not able to stand or sit on barstools, so they have accommodated me in past. They ruined our celebration for my daughter s birthday. I would suggest not spending your money only to get treated so poorly. Manager, Alfredo behaved extremely unprofessionally.

Great steak house with excellent service. If you are looking for a great steak this is the place. Along the same price point as Mortons but with MUCH better flavor and service. We went for our anniversary. They have a large selection of wine and spirits with an amazing selection of whiskey/bourbon. I had their house Ranch Select Bourbon. Very smooth with hints of caramel and banana---think banana fosters sauce with a kick.---no strong banana scent or flavor just a note.

I took my husband last year for his birthday. The food was average. Mac n cheese is bland and flavorless. The steak they gave us have a big chunk of fat that is too overwhelming for the proportion of the meat. The server, I dont remember her name, was condescending and she thinks she is better than us. We did not like the cocktail she recommended and she blamed us because we asked her for it. I was about to not tip her but my husband was too nice. Overall they lacked of compassion for serving people compared to the reputation of the establishment. Everything looks upscaling on the outside. In the inside they were soul empty. I bet they only care for potential customers whose social status is above the average or up to their standards lol. We paid for them to eat and ended up feeling like begging for the favor.

Do not order the Delmonico steak. Huge steak they charge you $30 to share with one person, $60 to share for two and so on... without inform you in advance. Regardless of the sharing charges, we are very disappointed at the chewy beef that cost $158. It sure doesnt taste like 28 days aged steak. Server will tell you the 60 dollar bottle wine is OUT, he will recommend the 100+ bottle to go with your meal... I took off my previous recommendation for this restaurant. The only reason I still give a 3 star is the the General Manager and Server are professional and courteous. Also, their appetizers are still fantastic.

Extremely high priced. Plus, they charge $250 (towards food and beverage) for a table. That being said, the music was really great when we were there. 95% Country which is awesome. Overall, probably not a place to go just for a chill night of line dancing due to prices and policies.

A group of 6 of us went to The Ranch restaurant in Anaheim last night. There were no complaints. The service and food were amazing. Our total bill with tip was $900.00 just so you know what you are getting into. We started with drinks from the bar, a bacon old fashion, ginger mule, and a mezcal tequila mixed drink. Everyone enjoyed their beverage. At the dinner table, we started with several appetizer, ceviche trilogy, oysters, 5 onion soup, and apple soup (the table raved over) along with a wedge salad and Ceasar salad, both were very good. These appetizers were incredible. Everyone had steak for dinner. The steaks of choice were the 16-ounce NY strip and a bison steak. Our sides were twice baked potato, ginger Brussel Sprouts, and Lobster Mac and cheese. All were delicious and are made to share. For dessert, we had creme Brule and the peanut butter and jelly bar. Everyone loved the creme Brule, and the reviews were mixed on the peanut butter bar, I thought it was delicious. We loved the whole experience and had a great time.

Corporate Christmas party dinner. The food was relatively decent. However, upselling and pressure tactics to inflate the bill was clear specially when it is a large party. A la cart menu was presented as a set menu pushing every one to choose several courses as if they were included. Indiscriminate water bottles, many of which remained on the table. Wine pouring into empty glasses for those who already have other drinks to deplete bottles quickly. These tactics are unethical business practice and a turn off. $300+ per person is way over priced for what you get. Will not go back or recommend.

Excellent Venue. We hosted a 75-person dinner in the Hospitality Room. Alyson and Nick were quick to respond and very accommodating to our specific requests (and worked within our budget). The room was perfect: Enough space to mingle in front of the fireplace or out on the shared terrace. The service staff, John, Sam, Ino, Jorge & Marilu along with the team were very friendly, and the service was Michelin level. We chose the Oak menu w/ Salmon and Steak options. The steak was cooked to order. Our guests also loved the Maryland Blue Crab Tacos (passed hor oeuvres).

Food, atmosphere good but noisey and been there 5 other times but costs have soared. Two dinners ,two sides, soup no desert and salad were $260 before tip. This option is gone for us now. We have too many other options at half the cost. My wife says we do not have to come back. The server in fairness was outstanding.Merry Christmas to all PS we did only order mid range entree too Parking: Parking is limited and had park 300 yards from restuarant

I booked this while visiting the area, as it was listed in the Michelin Guide. It was quite an underwhelming experience. The food was good, but not spectacular, my water went empty more than once when I payed for bottled placed next to my table, and I ordered a glass of wine recommended to be paired with my meal that never came. The staff was pleasant and apologetic, but quite underwhelmed for a $100+/ person meal. I missed how this made it into the Michelin Guide.

Have been a regular at this spot. We often go for meetings, they have a great space upstairs for conventions. Went last night and they added a really obnoxious charge. If you get a big entree like their cowboy ribeye, 58 oz, then you can only share it with 2 people and each additional person requires an additional $30 charge. Its a lot of steak, we ordered a lot of sides and apps. So we wanted to share it between 4 people. They were going to charge us an extra $60 which is for what? Theres not more steak. The extra plate? Or knife? Or you just want people to waste food or have 20 oz of steak to take home? This is like buying a car, and finding out you have to pay extra if people want to sit in the back seat. I am tired of these extra fees being tacked on, slipped in and popping up whenever you do anything. Now apparently, if you want to eat family style at a restaurant. Im Chinese. We mostly eat family style and so do most Asians so its a tax on being Asian apparently. Whats next guys? You have to pay to use the restroom? To sit in the chairs? To have the lights on? Id rather you increase the cost of your meals and stop with the fees, leaving a bad taste in my mouth. I will not be coming here as long as this fee is going to be enforced. Mastros doesnt have it. And Im going to encourage all the meetings and work functions to also move away from this place. Its a stupid way to make a little more money for a place that already makes a ton of money. Your greed has lost at least one customer.

We were there for a 90th birthday party and were given a room to ourselves which was a nice touch. The problem was that the waiter recommended the special house margarita. a heads up on the $65.00 price would have been appreciated. We would not have ordered them and truthfully they were not that good. also the birthday girl was supposed to get a free dessert but we were charged. The food was pricey but worth it for a special outing.

Wonderful, elegant, and traditional! I adore the lamb chops; they are cooked to perfection with a golden brown sauce that is also deliciously scorched. More varieties would be nice. However, our eating experience is fantastic and ideal for a special event or a date night. The music complements the topic, and I love the service and the setting overall.

The steak was the best I have ever had. The bone in Delmonico which I shared and even had some to bring home. All the sides were top notch. service was good but host when we first came in had a superiority about him. The reason I gave it four stars was they changed their very comfortable barstools to these cheap uncomfortable ones. They also changed their dining room chairs. By changing the stools and the chairs they lost a lot of charm in the restaurant. .

But, beyond the amazing food was an exceptional server, Ian. Ian was friendly, attentive and funny. He served a table of 5 hoteliers (who know a little bit about the service industry) wonderfully. With just enough attention to keep us happy, without bombarding us with contstant questions or water refills. Ian is truly an asset ro the restaurant.

Once you are seated at your table, everything is wonderful, but the uncomfortable process of going through the pretentious hosts is fatal. Several years of knowing the dynamics of this Restaurant and this time it was the worst attitude! Come, eat, but prepare for an unpleasant first meeting!

We are frequent customers and the food is excellent, the atmosphere too, in general it is a very good place. The service of our waiter was impeccable, which is appreciated, the only issue we found is the poor attitude and education of the reception staff (Hostess). It makes no sense to book in advance with exact specifications for our visit and for them to do the opposite and respond If you dont agree, you can wait for a table to become free, approximately one hour, these are not the manners or the treatment that you wait

My husband and I were in the mood for a good steak dinner after a long week so we decided to try The Ranch in Anaheim. First impression; The location is strange, within an office type building, with zero ambiance and a view of nothing. The restaurant is large, like a moose, but the lighting is nice and helps distract from the size. Take note- If you like cute, romantic, or cozy ambiance, this is not your place. It s very loud inside as well. Drinks (martinis) were decent but not anything special. The service was good, knowledgeable, and friendly, and the food was seasoned well and delivered in a timely manner, But the temperature of the food ($170 Porterhouse steak, green beans, loaded baked potato) were all served at room temp, not hot at all! We as most people, like our food delivered hot at the table, so this was a big faux pas for us! For a steakhouse at this price point everything should come out of the kitchen hot and fresh. The best items we had were the bread and the wedge salad. Needless to say we were a bit disappointed in our experience and will not return. We have a list of our favorite restaurants we frequent and sadly this one doesn t make the cut.

The Ranch is a fantastic restaurant the strikes the perfect balance between being fancy while still serving delicious satisfying food. It s a bit upscale without being pretentious, and while expensive, the prices aren t insulting. All the dishes and cocktails have clearly been designed with care and attention to detail. Came here to celebrate a birthday, the food was pretty decent, some of the most tender meat I have ever had. However the service was terrible, server Jose provided service based on how much money money you would spend here. My plus one and I order an entree and one cocktail each, however I guess that wasnt enough as we had watched him provide service to other tables in his section and neglecting ours. Only times he came by was to take our order and present the check. The restaurant is nice. For the price however the service from our experience could be greatly improved, as a first time experience we definitely will not be coming back. The mushrooms ARE TO DIE FOR. The mashed potatoes were definitely a contender. Everything was prepared nicely and correctly, especially the steak! service was top notch. We came at 530 for my husbands special birthday dinner. The complimentary dessert was also amazing. I havent stopped thinking of this place when I think of steak so were planning to come back for our wedding anniversary. It maybe a bit pricey but for a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary its an EXCELLENT choice.

I have been here twice, once last February and two days ago. The first time I had an excellent experience and the food was great. This time, maybe because it was the day after a holiday, I found the bread a bit too dry (tasted like it was from a day or two before) and the menu had been changed for the worse I have to admit. Always great the ceviche dish. My advice is not to rely on past experiences and check the menu first. Also the sommelier explaining wine to a table that was not so close to ours was a bit too loud, I understand an 8-person table should hear at the same time but not at the expense of another table when you have a $300 tab for two

This is a famous steak restaurant in Anaheim. While traveling, I wanted to eat the highest quality meat somewhere, so I picked this restaurant and made a reservation. I went to dress up. From the moment I opened the door, I felt like it was expensive, giving off a luxurious feel. Of course, the meat is also great. We couldnt eat it all (heres a photo of how big it was compared to our hands). Above all, I liked the onion gratin soup. Although it was a weekday, the place was pretty crowded. There were many people who came for anniversaries and such. By the way, the inside of the store is dark, probably to create an atmosphere.

The servers and hosts were very kind, but we got there at 7:30, they sat us, we were greeted, and we were never offered to take an order while we waited for the rest of our party. Because of this, at 8:43 our table was finally ordering, exactly when we were asking for the check for the one drink we got (we had a evening funeral to attend so we had to leave). We didnt get the chance to eat anything and left very hungry. We think the issue was the poor servers were scattered. They had tables all over the restaurant so they couldnt be attentive AT ALL to us. Its just plain disappointing, especially when we drove from Pasadena to celebrate our friends birthday.
