Campitelli Cookies

I used to love this place, I'd be able to get a half dozen cookies under $10. I don't know when this happened but out of nowhere it's now over $14 for a half dozen cookies. That's A LOT for a half dozen. The cookies are okay, but if I'm going to spend close to $15 on six cookies, I am going to go to the Campitelli's in Brea. The cookie selection is way bigger and they make the cookies a lot better at that location. It's a shame.

Go there every Friday for lunch. Noticed the last 2 Fridays they are skimping on the meat (I get the honey turkey). Has anyone else noticed this?

These people do not practice safe handling or cleanliness!!! Please be careful if you have a peanut allergy and come here, I purchased an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie and it was on a separate tray from the peanut butter cookies but I still got an allergy reaction because apparently they don’t keep their peanut dishes separate from non peanut items. When I went to tell the owner Karen that they should be more careful with the dishes, she and her husband both told me why do I go there if they have peanuts. Contacting health authorities!!!

This little quaint old style sandwich place serves the best tasting sandwiches ever!!! Even though you pick your items, they must make your sandwich with love because it tastes just like when your momma made them. You won't be disappointed. Being diabetic we couldn't do the cookies but they looked soooooo good!!!

The best cookie shop in SoCal. An institution in Orange County and rightfully so. Semisweet chocolate chip cookies are the top tier with a good hand size cookie and packed with chips. Not too crisp on the edges to still have a slightly soft center that doesn't crumble on you. Great mix of seasonal flavors and 10+ standard daily baked for you. Hand made quick and simple sandwich built to order make it a nice lunch stop off or after work carry home dozen. I travel for these cookies and will always stop in when I can

This is a review of the cookies, because that’s the only thing I’ve had from campitelli’s. These cookies are the cookies that I now judge every other cookie against. No other cookie has beat them. The cookie bars are the best cookie I’ve ever had, and I’m a cookie lover so pretty well versed in cookies.

Good cookies, BUT the owner does not believe that masks help with COVID-19. She told me “it will just go away” and “even if one gets it, it isn’t that bad.” And “I don’t wear a mask and haven’t gotten sick.”
Staff follows her lead.
I wonder what other science she doesn’t follow?
Washing hands?
Water temperature when washing pans, etc.
Covering coughs or sneezes?
Is there a 5 second rule if cookies fall on the floor before being sold?
Do they even clean the sandwich prep table?
This is a sad moment. I support small business. But I won’t be going back. : (

From the warmest welcome when you walk into the door, the coziest decor that surrounds you, and the best cookies that I’ve ever had, it’s everything you could ask for and more in a restaurant (the sandwiches are so delicious as well!). Highly recommend!

Boyfriend love the butter toffee and chocolate chip walnut cookies. They do have sandwiches and appetizers in addition to cookies. But go there for their cookies, because my mom ate my white chocolate chip with macadamia nuts cookie before I even finish unloading the groceries.

A nice variety of high quality cookies. I usually go for the sandwiches and I'm rarely disappointed. Good customer service. A little on the small side so it's a little better for to-go orders.

Omg the cinnabomb cookie was so good - a cinnamon cookie with frosting on top. I’ve never eaten something so good before. The cookie was moist and perfect. The girls are very nice, quick and efficient who work here too. I also ordered a half tuna half salad combo and it’s as if a mom has made it. Love it

I have been going to Campitelli Cookies for decades and you won't find a better cookie anywhere! They are all made to perfection, but beware they are addicting. They are always fresh, soft and what a variety to choose from. I highly recommend Campitellis to everyone! This place can turn you into a cookie monster.

The cookies sign drew me in, first time in, but decided to order the stromboli as well. No room to sit and eat so told em to pack it which they did except for the cookie for which I went in for. I 'll travel back for the cookie but no more stromboli. Ralphs across the street is a better deal.

My Recommendation for the Sandwich: Chicken Breast, whole sandwich, wheat roll, extra mayonnaise, extra pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, extra onions, peppercinis, and the Italian dressing! It is absolutely amazing! My Recommendation for Cookies: The Lemon Sugar cookie is amazing! Butter Toffee, Chocolate Chip, and Double Chocolate Chip.

I have a story that involves Campitelli's super delish cookies and how it saved my bacon. I was a Sr. project mgr for a GC here in OC; they assigned me to do some warranty work at a Catholic middle school in RSM we just finished, BUT there was a major problem! The bldgs leaked like swiss cheese!!! :( When I showed up to meet the Owner and stakeholders, I could see it in their eyes - they wanted to break my kneecaps. Outside of an upset girlfriend, I've never received so much hate, dirty looks, and being spoken to at that certain accusatory tone.

I knew I had to fix this relationship otherwise I'd get zero cooperation from Ownership. In these situations, I turn to food. There is a saying I'm gonna butcher that says you attract more flies with honey than vinegar. Sounds dumb, but there is a simple truth squirreled away in there. Anyways, my "Honey" was Campitelli's Cookies. When I returned after giving them these cookies, Ownership's attitude, demeanor and willing to cut me some slack to allow me to do the warranty work COMPLETELY changed. Of course they didn't have lovey-eyes for me, but more importantly, they did not want to kick the cr@p (at least it was not shown outwardly!) out of me at first sight.

After bringing these super delish cookies a few more times to Ownership, they were very civil to me and the hostility I rightfully deserved, was not served on a platter called "hate." Man, who EVER thought cookies could add to calming an angry Ownership mob? I'm here to tell you, these cookies did the job in saving my bacon and I believe a major reason I received the cooperation I did from them was from these delsih cookies.

Outside of my story, these are my fave cookies! They are super delish, but be careful, they're addicting! Highly recommended! Go now and try them!

This place has the absolute BEST cookies I have ever had. I buy their cookies for other people as thank you gifts, or to take to parties or whenever I can and everyone raves about them. Please, go buy/try their cookies, because I really want this place to stay in business until I die. I cannot live without their chocolate chip cookie bites. Oh yeah, they have soup/sandwiches and some other deli stuff that looks pretty good, but I don't waste my appetite on that stuff, I want their cookies!

ordered cookies 3 days in advance to pick up 10 boxes of Christmas cookies at the suggestion of a friend. Called in my order to speak to a rude girl who gave the impression that she was doing me a favor by selling me $200.00 work of cookies? Told me they were "booked up till 3 pm" for me to pickup my cookie order. Upon arrival, there was no one in the bakery except employees. the same rude girl was at the front counter for me to pay for the cookie order. the cookies were not ready for my pick up so I ordered a single cookie from the case while I waited. She did not listen to what I asked for and gave me the wrong cookie. After paying, I looked into the bag to find that I had been given the wrong cookie as I reached into the bag. I had to say excuse me several times before she acknowledged me...I told her that she gave me the wrong cookie I asked for...she offered to take the cookie but I told her I had touched it. so she sold me the correct cookie instead of offering me a free cookie for HER mistake??? After leaving with my order, I contacted the owner Susan Campitelli to suggest that maybe this rude girl should not be the first impression when a customer calls or comes into her store. She basically offer no concern for the rude girl in the front of her store explaining that they are so busy this time of year?? I will never go back and the friend who referred me, her husband called in an order as well getting the same rude girl in which he was made to feel like he was inconveniencing this rude girl with his order for his business contacts. He cancelled his order on the spot and both of them will never do business here again as well. These are cookies, they need to appreciate the fact that they are busy, (if in fact they are that busy) and treat customers with respect...the customers keep them in business...certainly not their rude employee!!

Good cookies and decent sandwiches. Food's kind of expensive but it's primarily a cookie store (which they're not cheap). Cookies are good and campitellis is sort of a staple to Anaheim Hills.

This is the perfect cookie. A soft crisp on the outside and perfectly gooey on the inside. Very generous portions of chocolate chips inside and they always taste like they just came out of the oven. Just one bite and your satisfied! (Although I always go in for more!)

When you walk in, you feel like you're transported back into simpler times where cellphones didn't exist and all you needed to make you feel better was a cookie. :)

Their cookie display case is mouthwatering, and there are a lot of choices!

Since it was my first time, I dived straight to the "discounted" area where you can get a bag of "Misfits" for $3 (6 random cookies).

Usually these are day-old or broken cookies. My bag didn't have any broken ones though, and it was mostly chocolate chip with 1 Snickerdoodle, and 1 Macadamia White Choco Chip.

THEY WERE SOO GOOOD.

I LOVE CHEWEY cookies, and these were SO CHEWY and MOIST!

Regularly priced cookies are $1.25 each and they're decently sized.

But if there are Misfit bags available, grab them!

I wish they are open on Sundays, because that's usually when I go to the theater nearby! :(

I was looking for a meal for under $10...found it! Had a vegi stromboli. It tastes great. The girl behind the counter was very helpful and allowed me to use the hidden restroom to wash my hands. That was cool to see what happens behind the scenes of this quaint little bakery and deli sandwich shop. If you are in the Anaheim Hills area, this is a must have for lunch and desert...which is cookies! Enjoy!
