Starbread Anaheim

Senorita bread does not taste the same at every shop. I’ve been to the Starbread in San Francisco and San Diego. It’s handmade so they can be different size and different finishing. For example, the butter coating or the custard filling. It varies by when you get it and who rolls it.

Our 5:30am batch look dried because only the bottom layer has the butter coating. But for sure, they still taste soft and airy and addicting.

We also got the strawberry and ube mochi donut. I was surprised at how soft and chewy it was and not dried out after several hours.

You can get nutella senorita bread pre packaged. They are slightly larger. I don’t prefer these because it’s a bit on the dryer end when it’s pre-packaged.

Senorita bread can be heated for 10 seconds and it tastes just like when it’s fresh. Great for parties.

I wish I could take credit for finding this place but they are all over social media and like a moth to a flame I came. The señorita bread just hits. It’s sweet and buttery and warm. Put that concoction in an IV bag so I can mainline it. I will most certainly come back for more. Next time I’m picking up a pack of their pilloweee soft rolls they had a display too. I should have just given them my ATM card and PIN # right there on the spot.

I waited for a bit to get my order but was so happy that the boxes señorita I took home were freshly baked. So buttery, soft, and hot. We can't wait to get home to eat some. I also tried some of their malasada - Ube, cream, and mango. The lady who helped me at the counter was very nice.

Starbread Bakery is a bread lover's paradise! Our visit was centered around trying the señorita bread, and it was an absolute delight. The bread practically dissolves in your mouth, and it's served fresh and hot, straight from the oven. Their assortment of bread and the irresistible hot pandesal only add to the experience. Cheese pimiento bread was a bust. I can't find any cheese pimiento in it. Spanish bread was a dissappointment. It was not as I expected. Totally different from the other Starbread location. Too small and chewy.

Nice clean bakery with a good assortment of Ube flavors and pastries. Their senorita bread is absolutely delicious. Plenty of parking spaces in the town square that they're located in.

Been coming to Starbread in OC for a while now and have always has a great experience, have always recommended this place, today though when I came by they failed me, will stop recommending to friends and family. Stopped by to get a box of senorita bread and as I was driving decided to grab a piece out of the box and I grabbed one from the bottom, let me tell you the bread was hard not even warm, like they put some olds ones on the bottom and just put fresh ones on the top, very disappointed.

The location is at the corner of this small shopping center area and it's a small establishment that can fit about 4-6 people comfortably but more can fit and wait in line inside but it would be too crowded.
The staff was welcoming and nice. We purchased the 15-piece señorita bread. We waited for about 6 minutes and we received a fresh batch. It was sweet, fluffy, and warm. It was some delicious goodness. 5/5 I loved that we received fresh señorita bread.
They also have other bread items and desserts on display as well as drinks.

There are a lot of parking spots but since this location is located where many other establishments are located it can be hard to find a parking spot luckily we found one.

I also purchased a brownie with walnuts and it was decent since it didn't taste fresh and it was too sweet for my liking but if you like your brownie sweet you'll like this brownie. 3.5/5

I recommend the señorita bread, especially since it's made fresh to order.

Open at 6am! Quick service and Tasty Senorita bread. Make sure to air out as it is hot when you get it and the box tends to get moist. Food : 4/5

Been coming to Starbread in OC for a while now and have always has a great experience, have always recommended this place, today though when I came by they failed me, will stop recommending to friends and family. Cheese pimiento bread was a bust. I cant find any cheese pimiento in it. Spanish bread was a dissappointment. It was not as I expected. Totally different from the other Starbread location. Too small and chewy.

They had us waiting for 6 minutes. One of them talking on the phone. We can see 3 employees in the back playing with the fridge laughing when they could have been helping the line that was forming outside. One of the employees that helped us gave us attitude and gave us a dirty look. I will not be coming back

Love the bread here. If my review was solely based on the bread it would be five stars. We come all the way from Huntington Beach to get it. This time around we were thrown off a bit as there was a whole bunch of people smoking right in front of the store. We walked in and 2 older men were at the front counter having a conversation but did not once look at us to see if we needed something. After about five minutes a girl came from the back and helped with our order. Then all the people smoking out front came in and went to the kitchen to work. I know you can do as you please with regards to your self with smoking but as a customer it is definitely a turn off to 1 have to walk thru all the smoke & then see them all go into work in the kitchen.

Its señorita bread. Havent tried anything else like it. First time trying it was 2013 in South San Francisco and a few other SF bay area locations. Sooo happy when I moved back to OC to find more Starbread bakeries around. They make em to order. Hot out the oven, sweet, light, buttery, and so delicious!

I ve been waiting to hear back from the owner, and I still have not received any call. It s been about three weeks I call from time to time to request to speak to the owner. It s always a manager answering the call and saying that the owner where it goes there and she ll relay the message, but I am pretty sure she does not because the complaint is about the manager. The products are really good, but if you have someone running the store with a manager, such as this one, also reflects on the place. So I am writing this review, hoping to catch the attention of the owner unless the manager also controls this she would probably delete it.

OMG my coworker brought some into our shop, and the Senorita bread was super BOMB!!!! They are small and look like garlic bread, but make no mistake they are super good with a sugar taste and soft texture. Its a must.

Ive had señorita bread (from a different bakery) and it was huge and just the perfect bread to satisfy your sweet tooth. The señorita bread that I got at starbread bakery is drowning in sugar and butter so its way too sweet and greasy. Id think that because the cost of food has skyrocketed they would DECREASE the extras (sugar and butter) in this bread. Just a recommendation.

Someone I work with brings the Señorita roll pack in once a week and it s amazing best thing I ve ever eaten from a bakery! Definitely try this place!! Really good Señorita bread. Got there right before closing and it was still warm and yummy! I don t know what I expected but I was surprised by the sweet underside. I d highly recommend you try them if you never have.

Went here for the senorita rolls and we were not disappointed! They re like a combination of a Hawaiian roll, a crescent roll, and a lightly glazed donut. They taste amazing and I m glad I went for the box of 20

Located in the corner (same plaza as Zankou Chicken). Everyone comes here for the star bread that is always piping hot. You will always buy a lot. The donuts are okay on the sweet side. I have tried all their panda flavor items which are exceptionally sweet and have no panda flavor. I only buy pan del sal and star bread.

Yesssss senorita rolls. I can eat 20 of these in one sitting. They re divine. When you get them warm, the buttery sweet goodness, you won t be disappointed. They have several other treats as well. I usually try something new each time plus the usual box of senorita rolls.

The señorita bread is their star at Starbread. Its small, served piping hot, and disappears faster than David Blaine. They serve other types of breads too like donuts and dessert which are all pretty good but if you go to this tiny, hidden gem then youre really going for those hot señoritas.

We were looking for señorita bread and tried a couple places but the taste wasn t there. We found Starbread on Google and decided to try it. The señorita bread was light, fluffy, and buttery. Just amazing! Hot and fresh every time I stop by and pick up a batch of senorita bread. I have gone right at six a.m. when the open and as late as 5:45 p.m. when they are about to close. Staff is friendly and prices a great! I bought a big box and took them to work. Everyone LOVED them!!!

Who drives 30 miles one way just to buy bread...we do. If youve never had Señorita Bread you have to make the trip out here. Light, fluffy, slightly sweet and buttery smooth taste. I cant say enough. I guarantee you wont be able to have just one. We ordered 2 dozen and I dont think theyll last till tomorrow. Theres only one place in So. Cal that has it and its at Starbread Bakery. They also have malasadas, donuts, pastries etc. but the Señorita Bread is worth the price of admission. Come on down and support your local community/business. You wont be disappointed.

The quality and taste and texture of the Star Bread seemed to have lost its stars. It deteriorated the way it used to taste when it first started whenbit first opened. The taste did not last long.its buttery taste was lost....besides the size

So excited this bakery is opening up in OC! This business use to be a Zumba place. Its at the far right end of the plaza as you drive up. Cant wait to see how it turns out. I will update the post once they officially open. Updated 5-1-2020. They are open! Oh my goodness. The Senorita bread is delicious especially when its hot! The Ube Square is moist and the filled bitso bitso are all really good. The pull apart mini apple is yummy with apple compote..I just love that. And their cupcakes are fair priced.
