Parkestry Rooftop Bar & Lounge

Inside the JW Marriott, valet only, and a great spot for date night. It's valet only, but $25 with validation. The atmosphere is top tier with couches, oversized chairs, and a view. They had a Dj when we got there, but she wasn't playing anything but music you'd hear in Hollister. Shame, because they have a nice space for a dance floor.

It wasn't crowded when we came but even after it picked up the service was still on point. We got the sliders, nachos, and tacos.
The sliders were good, not as juicy as I would have liked, but still flavorful.
The nachos were the star of the evening Lots of depth from the slow cooked meat, which was very tender, perfectly crunchy chips to hold loads of toppings.
The tacos were spicy so if you're not a fan of spicy food then pass on them.
I would recommend this place for a date night, drinks with friends, or anyone you're trying to impress.
We took a walk around the hotel and it's really a beautiful place. The attention to detail and the design are very nice to look at. We enjoyed exploring after our evening on the rooftop.

Had so much fun at their summer Saturday brunch! Went to their special pride event which was a total blast! The staff were so friendly and attentive, food and cocktails were great! They just added this booze bag which is a great deal and so cute! Plus you have views of Disneyland which is pretty cool! Highly recommend checking it out for brunch or for their normal evening hours!! They also have a live DJ at brunch and live music/DJ some nights so it definitely is a vibe.

We went to celebrate my birthday and the service from the entry to exit was EXQUISITE! Kenneth at the door heard it was my birthday and sat us for the fireworks. Rogelio was our waiter and was super attentive and friendly, when things were moving slow he was sure to update us. As we were leaving, the manager helped us take pictures and had an amazing conversation with us. I would 100/10 recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a sexy night out with friends or significant other I would do it again!

This place was good. It would be a fun place to go with a group of friends as well as a date night. If you go 7:30 or later, you’ll get to catch the fireworks! The Raspberry Revelry was our drink of choice, very sweet, so be prepared for that. I had the roasted half chicken and my boyfriend had the salmon. Both were very good! The atmosphere was uplifting and fun! I recommend giving it a try!

Would suggest making reservations, as it gets quite packed. Great views of Disney's California Adventure and Disneyland.

I don't know if the show was different on the day we visited, but we were not able to see Disneyland's fireworks (other reviews showed pictures of them, so I thought they would be visible). We could appreciate California Adventure's show to some extent.

This place was so cool! Definitely make a reservation, but when you come into the Marriott, go to the second floor, then walk outside. Turn right and in the corner will be a host stand. The host will take you into the "secret elevator" like you're a VIP! The seating and views here was amazing. We spent WAY too much money on one meal each and two drinks, but it was such a great place to bring friends or coworkers.

I recently visited the Parkestry Rooftop Bar on top of the JW Marriott, and I could not be more pleased with my experience. From the stunning views of the city, to the delicious craft cocktails, to the admirable service I received, it was truly a five-star experience. The bartenders were very knowledgeable and accommodating with my drink requests and made sure that I had the best possible experience. I also enjoyed the delicious food offerings, like their gourmet meatballs, which were cooked to perfection. The overall atmosphere was relaxed, yet elegant, and I could have easily spent hours enjoying the views and the company. Highly recommend this gem of a rooftop bar!

Service was absolutely abysmal. It was not even a busy night and it took 20 minutes for the waiter to come back with a Blue Moon, which only requires a bottle cap to be taken off. It got so bad someone from our party had to complain to the bartender and he had to personally bring the drink to our section, I suppose it takes a while to bring orders when you re socializing by the bar with the other staff. The included gratuity might as well be highway robbery. Wings tasted like they were microwaved. Avoid this place at all costs.

Great views, passable food, poor and unprofessional service. Ingredients missing on food items that we were not notified of while ordering. Chef is attempting to be creative with flavor combinations, but falling short. For instance, adding sesame to a dessert just made it taste like seaweed salad rather than complement or enhance the other ingredients. It was an unwelcome distraction. If you re staying at the hotel, highly recommend grabbing a cocktail and enjoying the views. But eat elsewhere.

Didn t have the best experience here. Had a reservation and the host asked me to wait while she found a table. My friends and I were celebrating a birthday and once everyone was there the waiter told us he could only serve the gentleman in the group one drink because they appeared too intoxicated and then couldn t serve them anymore. That was not the case, we just wanted to have a good time and this clearly wasn t the place to do so. The energy in here was just not good, it felt as if we were being judged. Definitely would not recommend. The only reason why I gave two stars was because the one drink I had was pretty good.

Stress on New Years Eve! Made a reservation here for New Years Eve and they cancelled it without any ado. I made a reservation for New Year s Eve at this place and I did this as early as November 29, 2023. There were two options on JW Marriott s website for New Year s Eve reservations: regular seating (no cover, just order ala carte) and a NYE Experience with a cover of $110 per person. We have already made arrangements for dinner and after checking all NY Eve experiences in the area, we realized we just wanted a simple countdown to ring in the New Year. So I went ahead and opted the regular seating option. I gave my credit card to guarantee my reservation and I immediately received an email confirmation. On December 30th I reconfirmed my reservation and Parkestry returned my call and reconfimed it (I trusted the JW Marriott name so much I only took note of one name Alexis. The other one I failed to note). At 4:00 pm on December 31st, I received a call from the place s management saying that they are cancelling the reservation because of a glitch in the system -- they really were not offering regular seating for NYE. And on the side, they gave the weather as a reason ( besides it s been raining ). I told them I took screenshots of everything and I was willing to email it to them, but they said it was not necessary. The only option they gave us is to be at their restaurant with the NYE Experience and pay the $110 per person cover. After I ranted and raged at how last minute this cancellation is, they gave us an option to be at the Lobby Bar for ala carte orders. The Lobby Bar where it is usually solemn and quiet, not festive at all. If they had a glitch they should have communicated this as early as a week after I made the reservation. We felt like management wanted to first make sure that they get full capacity and then discard those whom they don t need, or compel them to pay. Make reservations at this place at your own risk.

Super discriminatory- we were told to come back another time (no clear amount of time given), and when we inquired about a wait, they couldn t give us an answer just said come try another time . To add insult to injury, other groups were told to wait five minutes and would be seated. And lastly, the host followed us into the elevator and unofficially escorted us out for some reason. We never made a scene, or asked uncomfortable questions. So the whole encounter felt discriminatory and really unnecessary.

Went in as a walk in was told there s a private event and to come back and check asked how long oh not sure just check back and see how things are!!! Really!! You as the host should be able to tell us .ok so we can wait around? No we still have to clean up .okayyyyyy .so another party comes in and asks to be seated - they waited 30 mins so they came back and so they got seated! The fact that we were in casual clothing impact I m sure had zero impact!!!!! DO NoT go here!!! Apparently making 6 figures in casual clothing don t want your money

Staff indifferent, not helpful, poor service, did. Not honour reservation as there were no chairs available and no attempt to find any. Bar was dirty while we waited. Had a wonderful dinner and drinks somewhere else. Don t waste your time at this place ..

Was excited to come here for the Disneyland fireworks. The vibe was that of a lively rooftop bar. Fun atmosphere, but far from the best place to catch the fireworks. Service was pretty slow and it is my pet peeve when the food comes out before your cocktail/wine. Next time Ill stuck to the JW Executive lounge.

It was a bad experience from the beginning. Valet parking was a hot mess. The waiter wasn t friendly or helpful at all. We ordered the sliders and the sopes and both seemed thrown together. The seating was very uncomfortable to top it off. Don t recommend

We expected great food but the menu has changed to a very limited items. The meatballs were cold, the poke were 3 very small bites tiny little chips. The hot tea was cold : ( NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!$$$

Reservations are recommended and the staff was completely nice and helpful. The fireworks usually start around 9:15pm.

From the moment I arrived, Rogelio went out of his way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. He took the time to explain the menu and make recommendations based on my preferences, which I found very helpful. Throughout my visit, he was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that my needs were met without ever making me feel hurried or rushed. What really stood out to me was Rogelios knowledge of the bars offerings. He was able to answer all of my questions about the drinks and their ingredients, and even made some suggestions for new cocktails I might enjoy. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the service I received from Rogelio at Parkestry Rooftop Bar. His commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience is a credit to your establishment, and I will certainly be returning in the future.

Absolutely loved this quaint rooftop bar. They are so welcoming from the moment you arrive. When you go up the elevator and enter the rooftop, you are taken by the gorgeous view of the city. You can see some Disneyland attractions and a great sunset. Drinks were all made with highest quality ingredients too. Had mai tais, wine and craft beer. All were perfect. (a little pricey, but the view made it worthwhile) They have a simple, but elevated bar food menu. We ordered the pork sopes, ABSOLUTELY DELISH, and the buffalo chicken sliders, also delish, but SPICY. Julie, our server, was kind, courteous and answered all questions with a smile. We will be back.

Literally just had dinner here and aside from the nice staff the ONLY other good thing is the view. The food is TINY OVERPRICED portions and you only have 90 minutes to stay and eat. You dont really even get to enjoy the view. Never again.

Make a reservation. The view is nice, depending on what side of the roof top you sit, you either get Appetizers or Dinner. The One-man band was very nice played a variety of musical.

Came here to eat and watch fireworks for the 4th. Ambiance and views were great. Some seats you can see the Disneyland fireworks from. Its probably better labeled as a lounge/restaurant than just a bar. I don t know too many bars that allow kids in. Food was terrible and overpriced. I d be fine with overpriced if it was at least good food. Buffalo chicken sliders were just shredded chicken tossed in buffalo sauce. Poke was was okay but $20 for 2 tiny portions on a 4 round tostada. Charcuterie board was a joke. I would ve been better off eating cold cut turkey out of my fridge. Bread was meh. The only thing decent to eat on that board was the mozzarella. I really wanted to like this place. If they can figure out their menu then this place could be awesome.

Amazing experience. Christmas work party on the roof. Amazing atmosphere, food and view. 9pm fireworks from Disney. Staff was very attentive. Parking was a little crazy but A++ all around.

Beautiful view, friendly staffs, the food was okay. We were there for a bday celebration, the lounge chairs and little tables to share among 10+ of us were just not comfortable. My salmon was actually pretty good, it came in a regular size plate which was expected due to the price but I really didnt have any proper areas to put my plate. Ended up placing my plate on my lap, and it was just too awkward. And forget about enjoying my french fries at the same time, I can only hold one plate a time. They should just offer tapas style food, smaller plates If they cant accommodate customers with proper size table for dinner. At the end we still have a great time but definitely wouldnt go back for dinner there.

Venus is an excellent server!!! We brought our daughter there for her 22nd birthday and Venus went out of her way to make it a memorable night for all of us!!! Great roof top dining and view! Would highly recommend!

My party had an incident that occurred here and one of the party members suffered a severe allergic reaction due to one of the items we ordered that they claimed did not contain peanuts. We had to leave the restaurant right away and ended up paying $400 for an epi pen to relieve the symptoms. Reached out to management and Joshua the manager claims to be investigating further but its been two weeks and I have not heard anything back. Someone needs to follow up with me regarding this incident because this is NOT the way you treat guests who trust your staff with severe allergies. I gave them ample time to investigate what happened but not owning up to the mistake is not ok. Completely disappointed with how management handled this. I need someone to reach out to me with a resolution now.

Was a pleasant and beautiful experience. Staff was polite, friendly,informative and helpful. The mood was joval and exciting. View of Disneyland and sunset breathtaking. Will diffinatly return, already have friends and family members inquiring...LOL Food delish, drinks on point and dining area vary sheek, clean and comfy Thank you Karla for making my sons Birthday celebration a memorable one!

Horrible service, basic menu and over priced. They double charged my card and I was stuck disputing the charge. The basic view they offer is not worth it. I definitely expected better from them.

Had a good time here, came right before sunset. I enjoyed the ambiance. Park at the garden walk if you come here. Enter through the second floor. The sliders and pizza were delicious.

My Mom and I went to the Gardenwalk for a Spooksieboo event and were lucky enough to get a spot at the Rooftop bar. The food and drinks are amazing but the view, oh the view is amazing! Weve missed grabbing a drink, some food and socializing over the past year +. We felt safe sitting at the bar and we got back that sense of normalcy again. Sitting, chatting and seeing DCA all lit up from the Rooftop Bar was just an amazing evening. The avocado toast and margarita pizza are really good. I dont really think you can wrong with anything at Parkestry. Overall a great place to sit, relax, and enjoy!

Not good experience. Preferential treatment to others. We had to ask for Everything . We wont be back. Spent over $800 on brunch for party of 8. Rooftop Atmosphere was the only plus we experienced. Manager went to every table but ours. No problem. Lots of other choices for us to enjoy.

I don t know where to start, this place is at JW Marriott in Anaheim...very nice and trendy place, so my expectations were very high base upon the location. This place is at the top of the hotel but things went seriously down. Our waiter was nice but the service was extremely slow, when finally the dinner arrived...it was horribly bad. The salmon consistency was like a jello, the steak was overcook then they offer the special for the night and it was worst the pasta was hard and very dry. To top things up we ordered room temperature water and guess what: It was hot. The only things that were good: the wine and the view. Do yourself a favor don t go there to eat...seems that this place just to drink and hangout. I gave only one star for the waiter.
