Mimi's Cafe

You can definitely feel the decline in patrons that eat at Mimi’s Cafe. This location used to have 30-45 min waits on a Saturday night. 10 min tops on this Saturday night. Maybe 10 other tables eating. Looking forward to them revitalizing their brand and regaining the allure they used to have. Great food at a decent price. Now, OK food at a high price. Not a good recipe for success. The meatloaf felt very premade and generic. Not home cooked. Thin and lacked real flavor of great meatloaf. If it wasn’t for the gravy, would have been pretty bland. The thick hearty slice of moist delicious meatloaf is gone I guess. The potatoes were not bad, again, lacking any real flavor, except the gravy. The tomato basil soup was a bit thick but had decent flavor. The cheese sandwich could have used a thicker slice of bread, as the cheese to bread ratio was a bit off. The fries were lackluster and not crispy or hot. They were down a cook or two so service was a bit slow. The waitress was kind and did her best to keep up with the flow. Normally would have tried a desert, but felt like it would have not been great and would have taken awhile to get. Over all, not great…. Truly miss the old Mimi’s and their great food with good portions and flavor! Maybe someday.

What a perfect place..,we enjoyed a great breakfast at Mimi's Restaurant ..The service was very friendly and attentive with good suggestions and fast service. I don’t usually eat at chains as I prefer local restaurants, but we did so out of convenience. Mimi’s was a great surprise. They started us off with bread and whipped butter that was very good. I ordered the turkey dinner, wife got the pot roast and the kids all got soup and sandwiches. Turkey comes on stuffing with gravy, cranberry’s and two sides, I ordered the garlic spinach and the au gratin potatoes. The turkey was so moist and tasty, stuffing was really good and the spinach and potatoes were both delicious. I would go back just to eat this meal again. I used the bread to make a little turkey sandwich with stuffing, turkey and the cranberry sauce. I am skeptical about ordering other people’s turkey or pot roast as it tends to be dry, but Mimi’s doesn’t disappoint. It is a French pot roast and it is very flavorful. The kids liked the French onion soup and sandwiches. They came with fries which I tried and they were good. My daughter got the tomato bisque with her sandwich and I did try it and it was delicious.
Our waitress was very nice and attentive and everyone else helped out with food and drinks so we were never waiting for anything.
Restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. Super convenient to walk to if you are staying at one of the hotels on Harbor or even having a good sit down meal if you at at Disneyland and want a break.

I have to say this place is amazing. I love the decor, and the way the restaurant looks at the staff is amazing. The bartender / server was a great, very nice gentleman. I was a bit disappointed when I ordered my shot for the morning. I expected them to have don July but they only have patron which it was okay but very limited options breakfast it self was delicious could make a few comments about the French tost it was very overwhelming sweet the egg portion was a little low but enjoyable although I do question the quality since the eggs were very dry and had a strange texture of sand paper but other then these small issues I definitely recommend trying this establishment

They are very friendly and everything was fast. It is a place with space for large or small families. The food was a little bland this time. The burrito and the peanut butter mocha drink were difficult to eat with enthusiasm. Coffe taste more like water.

We enjoyed a great breakfast at Mimi's. The service was friendly and attentive with good suggestions and timely service. I ordered the crab cake Benedict which was perfectly cooked and seasoned with great potatoes. Our table also enjoyed the Crepes, and omelet. Would highly recommend for a great breakfast or brunch while visiting the parks.

We had breakfast before going to Disneyland here. It was attended well at the beginning and the food is fine.

The upset thing is that we ordered a latte and drip coffee. When we got our bill, we were charged with two hot chocolates for $9.98. When I asked the server why we were charged for hot chocolates while we had latte and drip coffee. He said that’s how we do for the order. It doesn’t sound right to me as the bill should be clear for what we ordered and charged accordingly, not randomly with a different name of the order. From what I know, drip coffee price should be cheaper that hot chocolate. I suggest the manager would take coutions to this matter for clarification.

I wish I'd gotten her name. Our waitress was awesome. Every question I had, she answered. My part of the order was difficult, but she had a great attitude. I wanted to know what kind of dressing was on the salad 🥗. She got the brand name for me. I'm very glad we ate there.

This place was so delicious. Coming from Louisiana where food is a love language, we were pleasently surprised with Mimis. I had the turkey dinner and my husband had the grilled chicken. It was flavorful and amazing. It was the best home cooked food away from home. HIGHLY recommend!

Was staying at a neighboring hotel and came in for breakfast with a party of 8 before we hit Disneyland. Big menu to choose from but the couple of eggs Benny I didn't really want so I went with the huevos rancheros which were decent. If you have kids coming, I think place one of the best kids meals I've seen. All the kids meals come with a little bit of everything, I was way more impressed by my 6 year old nephew's meal than mine. Shout out to our server and not dying on his hill on being corrected about mistakenly giving us a NY strip instead of the a sirlion. It took some internet research and checking with the kitchen staff a couple times to convince him that it was the wrong steak but he took as an education in meats that day so I commend him on that. But really it was kitchen staff's fault, so the criticism is on them. To the cooks; please be mindful of the steaks you pull for the orders because there IS a price difference.

I cant tell you how bad it was. They use cheap low quality ingredients, the food even looked disgusting, tasted weird. Awful experience, they don't have good service. I regret going and spending my money there.

This is a fantastic family-friendly restaurant with an incredibly convenient location right across from Disneyland. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. It's a perfect spot to relax and refuel during your day at the park!

I'll start by saying I liked our waitress, but the food was terrible. I'm not sure how this place has a 4 star review. Kids Mac & Cheese w/fries was $10.99, and it was Kraft Mac and crusty fries. Definitely not worth the nearly $200 spent.

Best Mimi's there is. We went in about 15 minutes before closing on a Sunday night. The woman that greeted us was so kind. We just wanted some muffins, so did not stay and eat. The whole interaction was just wonderful. I believe her name was Monique. The restaurant was clean. The other employees were smiling and chatting with the few customers remaining at tables. Will definitely go back when I'm in the area.

Service was great for a large party. We were in town visiting Disneyland. We had 29 people and they sat us timely. Our waitress did a great job the entire night. However, the food was not great. All of my kids ordered the chicken strips, which tasted like fish sticks. None of them really ate them and complained of the taste. Wasn’t overly impressed with the food. With the higher prices, I was expecting better food.

Made a reservation on Open Table and we were very excited to eat here as we’ve always eaten here when we are near Disneyland. Tonight, we walked in, there was 1 table of guests there and we saw one server. The server saw us, twice, and did not acknowledge us. We stood in the front of the restaurant for approximately 10 minutes and no one greeted us, thanked us for waiting, or came to ask us to wait for our table. When we left the restaurant and it wasn’t until 3 of our 4 person party was already out the door, that someone said something towards our family. We left and probably won’t return; especially since both the parking lot and the restaurant were EMPTY!

We love Mimi's and eat here every time we visit Disney. My only complaint is many dishes are more sweet than they should be. Jambalaya and French onion soup for example.

Great menu, food, and espresso. Prices are reasonable. HOWEVER, the BACON avocado omelette only comes with two strips of bacon?! For $19 I expected more. I would rather go without potatoes and a muffin if it means more bacon.

My entire family is very disappointed. Mimi’s used to be our go to for years when we went on family vacations to Disney. This trip was no exception. Unfortunately our Mimi days are over. Our first indication should have been the almost completely empty restaurant at 5:00pm dinner. My husband’s eggs tasted super fishy, my moms blended drink had cheap cool whip in it, my husbands crapes were a thick undercooked wrap with a weird lemony cream cheese inside, my moms corn chowder soup tasted like they dumped a cheap can of cream corn into it, my French dip was completely flavourless, and their muffins which we used to walk out with a dozen were dry. It cost us $110 for a horrible meal for a family of 4 when we paid less at Tony Romas the night before for a superb dinner. If Mimi’s keeps this trend up I can’t see them lasting. Needless to say we won’t be returning.

BEST CHICKEN AND WAFFLES. i ordered on doordash and when you order things on doordash you kind of have to expect they’re a bit cold and soggy but SOMEHOW the chicken was sooo fresh and crispy and the waffles were fluffy and it came w butter and syrup. so good

Looking for a decent breakfast before a long day and stopped here. Service was fairly quick and orders taken, but unfortunately food was meh at best. Poached eggs over cooked and avocado toast on basic white toast, bacon soggy and don’t have hash browns. Vibe is basic and nothing really stands out. Next time I’ll opt for something else. Mimi’s was a miss for our family.

We had a large family group for our Disneyland vacation and wanted a place where we could all eat together on our last night in town. We called weeks ahead and were put in touch with Monique. Monique was a pleasure to work with, very attentive, and made the planning very easy. She was accommodating and confident in their ability to cater to family members with special dietary needs. The night of our meal could not have gone better; Monique and her team were amazing, and we felt very well taken care of. It was the 'cherry on top' of our vacation.

We dined here 2 nights in a row during our Disney vacay. Both nights we enjoyed our food. I ate the turkey dinner and it was really good. My kid loved the burger and fries. My husband is really big on hamburgers and said they were really good. Severs were very friendly and it was never too busy.

After looking for a place to eat near the hotel, we discovered Mimi's Cafe. Not very busy, but the service was excellent (might have been the manager). I had roasted turkey dinner, my spouse had the pot roast. Both dinners were amazing! After our first day in Disneyland, we returned to Mimi's for dinner. We were recognized and greeted by the most accommodating man who had served us earlier. I had the roasted turkey dinner ( again), my spouse had the steak salad. Excellent! We might have gone back again, but there wasn't time.

We enjoyed a great breakfast at Mimi's. The service was friendly and attentive with good suggestions and timely service. I ordered the crab cake Benedict which was perfectly cooked and seasoned with great potatoes. Our table also enjoyed the Crepes, and omelet. Would highly recommend for a great breakfast or brunch while visiting the parks.

2日間連続で行きましたが、口コミ程のお店ではないと思います。特に朝食、大した食事ではなく、一般的なアメリカ朝食で、リーズナブルではないかな。
でも、一回くらい食べてもいいかもしれません。
夕食に食べたニューヨークステーキは焼き加減が良くて美味しかったです。

Nos encanta venir :) la sopa de tomate y la de cebolla son muy ricas. Como postre, el muffin de miel y avena es de lo mejor! Nuestra mesera fue muy amable también.

The atmosphere was great, but the food left a lot to be desired. My daughter’s mac and cheese looked and tasted like it was straight from a Kraft box. My wife’s meatloaf was covered in sauce, but flavorless. And the salad she order was very dry. I ordered the three course meal that included a delicious corn soup. But that was the highlight of my meal. The jambalaya tasted as if someone had stuck it into the microwave to reheat. The molten lava cake we took to go was cold and dry. Will not be coming back to this place.

Great spot near Disneyland. Met a friend for breakfast and had no issues with parking or waiting. Food was excellent and service was fine.

Nice place, the ribeye wasn’t worth it for the price we paid, good taste, but a bit hard to cut. All other meal were good and tasty. The service with Marisol was very fast and nice. A must is the chopped Cobb salad.

The restaurant is very good. We love to have breakfast in there. I found the waiters service a bit messy. There were two taking care of the table and they asked the same questions all the time. That was a busy day. They were trying their best and they were very friendly.

The more people in your party the better service you will get. I went with a party of 2, took the waiter 40 minutes to get us drinks . The waiter had a table of 10 and it took him 3 minutes for serve their drinks . Our server not once asked if we needed anything extra . Took 45 minutes to get basic waffles . Okay food, bad service.

I've gone to Mimi's for over 20 years, including this location. I hadn't been to this location for a few years and I was incredibly disappointed. $17.50 for a salad that has brown lettuce. The free bread is now sliced white bread. The cheapest menu item is about $17. This place is nothing like it used to be. Very sad what has happened to Mimi's. Used to be such a great place for a decent salad or sandwich. Never again!

We had a takeout order
The people were very friendly and very quick with our order.
Food was good. We did the basics hamburger. Couple of the turkey dinners.
And, a steak. Steak was still hot. I forgot to grab some pics. But it was standard stuff. Hot and good.

Two visits, 5* both times! Food was phenomenal. Price is amazing. Service was totally above average. Atmosphere was good.
I don't give stars out easily, but this restaurant has earned it big time.

Posted feb. 22, 9:43a.m.- I did a online order. Ordered corn beef hash plate which came with eggs potatoes and a muffin, my lady got alvacado bacon omelet which also came with a muffin. Neither 1 of us got our muffins and the corn beef hash I ordered wasn't corn beef hash. More like shredded beef and dice potatoes. My potatoes were over cooked and dried and my lady's bacon looks like it been out since last week. I wouldn't recommend this place. Especially considering there are alot of better places to eat around here.

A experiência no Mimi's foi excelente! Comida deliciosa e serviço impecável. Pedi o Roasted Half Chicken, frango delicioso com arroz branco.Super recomendo para que está de passeio na Disneyland, pois foge dos fast foods tradicionais.
