Been to this Restaurant many times with the family, had a great Experiences. This last time unfortunatelly we were seated outside. The seats outside are very unconfortable, i cant help but to think they were designed that way to prevent people from seating for more than a few minutes.

I love this place! We always come here for lunch, our favorite meal is the crispy fried chicken plater with green beans, biscuit, mash potato and gravy, the pasta and side salads are always delicious as well. The service is always super nice and courteous. Food is a little pricey, but when at Disney you have to be prepared to spend, but is totally worth it. You can dine inside or out on the patio with the beautiful view of the castle.

This is a great character dining restaurant because it is located in the park and the characters come to you while you dine. Not to mention, the breakfast foods aren't bad and it's a buffet so you definitely get your money's worth. They have mickey shaped waffles, french toast, country fried chicken with really good gravy, biscuits, made to order omelets, eggs and bacon and all types of beverages and even fruits and yogurts. I think the price is less than $40 pp which is definitely worth it to see the smile on my kids' faces when they see the characters walk around and give them special attention.

Coming to Disneyland, you have to at least do this experience once...or twice.. or multiple times :) A great selection of breakfast. From Mickey waffles to omelettes. Enjoying breakfast while Disney characters come by and visit to say hi and take a picture (using your camera or phone) is such a magical touch. It is also a great way to avoid the long lines to meet characters that you may see throughout the park. This experience also includes a free picture with Minnie that is available to download on the Disneyland App when you first enter.

This is our favorite character dining. We love that its in the park, you get great photo opps with characters, specifically Minnie. Be sure to have the Maxpass with Photopass and all pictures will be included for free with that. Buffet breakfast, customize your own omelette, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, pastries, fruit, yogurt, mickey waffles and french toast with Banana Foster toppings is a must try.

I’ve been here a few times for breakfast.
Characters are only available for breakfast and they are always worth it. I’ve had some great and memorable interactions with the characters here.
The food is buffet for breakfast and Mickey waffles are a must!

After going in the past we loved the characters dining but today we had a soso experience as the food lost in quality (not that it was great before). Less choices, plates and bowls are midget, you have infinite queues to get like an omelette,… it looks like everything has been changed since Covid but in a very sad way. Also they offer almost no healthy food (only 3-4 basic fruits including frozen strawberries to freeze your throats).
Was our last time spending so much for so nothing :/

I am writing this review with the hope that someone on the Disney staff see it and try to make a change.
Normally, I love this place and so do my kids, but this last time was different. My child and I experienced the "Chip" Character talking to a cast member asked how long was left and they were acting visibly upset when she stated "Twelve more Minutes" throwing their hands up in disappointment and stomping away. My child asked me why "Chip" didn't want to be there. I made a quick explanation, but it was uncalled for. In addition to that there was a cast member who was very rude to our party of 6 when asking him if the characters were coming outside since it had been 30 minutes into our meal with no character visits. For such expense this behavior is unbelievable out of line and should not go unnoted.

We have always loved this place for breakfast, but this time they missed the mark. We had reservations. They sat us outside (never been outside before) we asked for shade and they gave us a barely shaded table. We had long lines for food. Not one person checked on us or took plates. Jello was horrendous. We were there over 90 minutes and saw 3 characters. It’s not worth your valuable time in the park.

Cafeteria style, buffet in plastic plates which is too expensive for what happens in this place and what you get. Menu is so so! Even if you have an appointment you stand in a line to get your turn to speak to someone who gives you table...Since this is buffet, you have to go and get your food. In the meantime "characters" may visit your "area"(section of restaurant where you eat) so you may miss them..
We got visited by all characters except one (Tigger). We finished our breakfast, got photos & signs of all characters but Tigger never visited us or area where we sat. We had to checkout our hotel by noon, and we thought we will meet Tigger on our way out. My child kept calling Tigger with autograph book, but this character totally ignored even though he/she was right over there. Then another rude server passes by us and yells that he visits only tables. We ate, we paid for photo, we paid for cake, what else did we have to do to get this character to our table and spend 30 seconds with our child? Anyway we left disappointed.
So overall I wont recommend this place. However one of the staff member was an excellent person who bagged our special cake in hurry and really took care of us! Kudos to him, and talking to him was the only sweetest thing in that place that happened to us here!
Suggestion - visit Goofy's Kitchen, Storyteller's cafe or Napa Rose (Princess Breakfast) for superior experience! You can meet many classic Disney characters for free at Mickey's Toontown

This is one of our favorite parts of the whole trip. So magical. If you are on the fence, and have a kid who loves the characters, totally do it. Our two year-old is still talking about it 6 weeks later. Worth every penny to hear her remind us a few times a day that "I saw Minnie. I saw Pooh. I saw Tigger."

And of course the food is good, the atmosphere is fun...definitely worth it!

I went there on my daughter's 10th birthday ,we were super excited . I wanted my daughter to have this experience that people talked so much about. And i knew it was cheap but sice they charge adult prices for the kids 10 and up , i thought they would have good food , but food was the worst part of the experience. The worst breakfast buffet i ever had , the Mickey waffles were the only decent thing i found . $30 each ,even my 10 year old, hurt ! The Interaction with the characters was the best of everything , they take the time to talk to everyone , they visited every table. Woupd i do it again ... no i wouldn't.

Be sure to make a reservation! Dining with the characters is a wonderful experience. Whether you are an adult or child, it is exciting to interact and take pictures with characters you usually do not encounter in other areas of the park. As for the food, it is delicious. Since it is buffet style, it was great to eat a hearty breakfast and avoid having snack cravings later on in the day.

We loved our visit with Minnie and her friends. Lots of characters walking about giving plenty of time to both children and adults. They really made you feel like you had their undivided attention. Breakfast was great, we had one member of our party with food allergies and they were well looked after by staff who prepared separate food for them. So much fun getting photos with all the characters.

The characters were great. They were very engaged and entertaining. The staff was also great. They were polite and inviting. The only issue that I have was the value. The value was so far from the price on this one. I believe it was $31/person and the food was about what you'd expect from a continental breakfast at your local hotel chain. The drink options were diverse, but all very low-quality. The food was fresh, but also lacking in quality. The coffee mugs were either all dirty, or all permanently blemished.

Tried almost all the dine in characters in Disneyland but this one is the most disorganized. They called us in without saying that they will be sitting us out. It was cold outside so we don’t want the table so we have to wait again to get tables inside. I can’t believe you can’t get food for your kid in the buffet zone, the server will only give one plate per person. That’s right, the server will hand over the food for you, so if you have little ones, you and your husband/wife/partner will have to take turns to get food for you and your kids or bring them with you on the line so they can give you a second serving/plate with the entree’s. The choices of food for a buffet was also lacking, specially there were little fruit selection and the omelette wasn’t made that good. They need a lot of work on this one, food, service and the place needs an update too. You can see the stains, and dark/dirty/old curtains if you look closely. And of course the characters, the tables are so close together and the characters wouldn’t fit in between tables so you and your kids will have to stand up to get your photos taken. Try somewhere else if you want to dine in with characters, Goofy’s Kitchen or the Story Teller cafe would be better.

NOT VERY DISNEY!
We bought and made reservations ahead of time for breakfast with characters. A few in our party misplaced their paper tickets.
They had receipts and Disney still would not except that they had already paid.
Disney made them pay again (wanting to hang out with grandkids)and told us to go to the town hall and they might be able to help with a refund. The town hall sent us back to the restaurant.
This paper ticket seems a little silly along with the policy for lost tickets.
No one in the whole park could help and they'll gladly take your $$.
The food and characters was good for the kids.

Best Place To Meet Disney Character's
Published 6 years ago
I cannot recommend this character dining enough! It's buffet style and all you can eat but that's not the best part. The best part is the characters come to your table and interact with you and your group! Whether you're a party of adults or have kids! They have 4 sections and the characters rotate through each section so if you see one you want to have pics with just wait!
Breakfast had scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, make your own yogurt parfait, waffles, french toast, a breakfast sandwich and omelette station. Food was good. Definitely a recommend!

Had a great experience with the kids and grandkids at this character breakfast. Our reservation was early enough that it seemed like we had all of the characters to ourselves for awhile. They interacted with the grandkids exceptionally well, and the grandkids left with memories they'll have for a lifetime.
Food was good for buffet style breakfast, nothing overly fancy, but we'll worth the money for the experience with the characters.

Minnie and Friends Character breakfast at the Plaza Inn provides an efficient way to meet a constant parade of ten to twelve characters. Our seating included Minnie, Captain Hook, Pooh Bear, Chip & Dale, Fairy Godmother and more. Buffet style dining offers breakfast basics including the popular mickey shaped waffles, however getting the kids to eat was a challenge with the constant distractions. There are cheaper ways to meet characters, but none that avoid extensive line ups. Worth it as a one time experience.
