Poached Neighborhood Kitchen

Today was my 3rd visit to this place. I cannot say enough positive remarks about it. The food is wonderful, I have trouble deciding every time... so many great choices, but the service is the main thing. Everyone is friendly, and efficient (not easy to achieve), welcoming, knowledgeable & professional... Just lucky, or great training? I can't say, but I have worked in the service business all my life, and I have an adage: "Happy Employee = Happy Customer. This they have at Poached..... I will be back... soon. BTW, this time I had the Tomahawk Pork Chop, The Wife had the Ricotta Pancakes with Blueberries, & Lemon Cream delicious!

Best Brunch ever! Light and crispy waffles with perfectly seasoned chicken. The salad was bright and acidic and the fruit was extremely fresh. Also, the counter service helps the food get there quicker than a diner, and it removes the need to tip a waiter.

I was apprehensive about the price. Seemed on the steep side but figured I’d give it a shot. The quality ended up being really good. The hash browns are really strong! Probably my favorite part. Their unlabeled hot sauce on the table was great too.

I ordered the Chile Verde Benedict and it was good. The hollandaise sauce might have been fighting the chile verde a bit much. Didn’t quite mesh for me. The eggs were poached perfectly.

The only downside really was that the EDM music at 7am was a bit too much, but not a deal breaker. Also, I could tell my water glass was washed in the same dishwasher as the egg dishes. It did not smell good.

Overall a positive experience and would go back.

Great place for breakfast. The coffee is strong and the service friendly and quick. The options are plentiful and not the usual breakfast fare. Their Machaca was chock full of peppers and had a great taste, not your usual greasy meat. The scramble came loaded with sausage and the hashbrowns had a delicious crispness to them. Would definitely visit again to try some other options…or get the same thing. Bathrooms are exceptionally clean, too.

I got the short rib omelette and I do agree that it needs a little more salt and less vegetables inside. The Hash browns was good. Overall it's pretty decent but I'm not exactly sure if I would order this again. I gave this place 4 stars because I have not tried anything else their yet.

First time here and absolutely loved it. During the order process the staff was very accommodating of adding/substituting what we wanted to make our meals perfect. The atmosphere was very light and bright. We sat outside on a beautiful day. The food was delicious and of exceptional quality. Our coffee was always refilled as well as our water without any requests from us. Very attentive staff and will definitely be back.

Service was great. Food was excellent. I had the chicken sandwich. Comes with fries. It's the shoestring type fries. I found out they make their own ranch dressing. It tasted pretty good but you can really taste Dill weed. You walk in order. Pay your for your meal then go sit down and wait for your food to arrive. They serve beer and they have water. It's called Vero. The water is really good.

Lovely place the second we ordered we got our food. It’s such a quick service and the food was amazing. The plating was really good and it had more than we even thought it would have better than the photos. That’s what I like about the place would definitely go againand still has a lot of potential.

Ordered breakfast to-go and it was a seamless process. They had my food prepared quicker than expected, and had it ready for me as soon as I got in. Everything tasted great as well!

This place has the best eggs benedict in town! The eggs benedict here is very good. The hashbrowns however were actually just as good.
The service was quick and friendly. The restrooms are also clean. The atmosphere also looks pretty modern and clean and well maintained.

This place was way overpriced, and the service was terrible. Every employee you talked to seemed like it was an inconvenience to ask them for something. I would not recommend this place for the price.

$3 for a single piece of side toast!? And it was stale too. Didn't bring our drip coffee, something about the 'barista' is going to bring it for you...for drip coffee? And the coffee maker at home makes better coffee than what the barista brought us. Good thing I had a cup before I got there. I got a side of 3 eggs and they brought it on a small plate it's falling off of. Not a very good experience.

I love this place! From start to finish everyone is so attentive professional. I truly appreciate they remember myself and my family. The food is great as well. It’s extremely consistent in terms of the food also. Definitely a family restaurant where you can have a fabulous baby shower or just a Sunday brunch. Top notch

Great breakfast place--place was very clean and the food was pretty good! We ordered the classic waffles, churro waffles and short rib omelette. Churro waffles were a teeny bit dry but had the texture and taste of a churro. The short rib omelets were packed with shredded short rib goodness. My wife and I split the two dishes and the combination of sweet and savory hit the spot. Kids liked the classic waffles as well, although it could've used a little more syrup and a little less whipped cream, but that was more a personal preference.

We did like ordering before we sat down--that way we didn't have to wait for the check. Food was served promptly.

We would definitely go here again.

Wow where do I start. I had the choice of El Torito or here. I made the wrong choice. I walked up and was told 15 minutes inside or outside. I said it doesn't matter the only thing that matters is we have a wheelchair. They make you seat yourself after waiting 15 minutes they will point to your table but then they want you to order at the counter so they obviously do not work for tips and so just don't care. They do not have cocktails but soju and Bloody Mary mix. I went with a beer. No brand names just some breweries stuff they just assume you will like. I did go with the Mexican version and skipped food because everything has eggs and if you're allergic they still won't substitute.

I’ve been coming to this Poached in Anaheim Hills since it opened and everything is always so good. Can never go wrong with the chicken and waffles ,that red Chilaquiles one of my favorite AND just ordered the machaca plate today for delivery yes delivery,is was soo delicious with their crispy hashbrowns and multigrain toast so good🤤

Tried out the new Poached restaurant in Anaheim and safe to say the breakfast was top tier! I have been to the other locations and they seamlessly are now offering the same, great experience here! I downloaded their app and placed my House Benedict for pick up. The app was so easy to use and I got a free waffle on my first order!! I also got loyalty points that I can use for future orders!! LOVE LOVE LOVE

Quiero felicitar este restaurante, porque en mi caso, por mi estado de salud, hay alimentos que no puedo comer y ellos realizaron los ajustes en el menú de manera personalizada, sin inconvenientes y agradezco en especial a Carlos, porque se nota su experiencia y su buen desarrollo de atención al cliente que detecto mi necesidad. If you look you will see I never do bad reviews but this is an exception based on our experience with the manager. Our food was incredibly salty and after expressing our concern his answer was a we haven’t had any complaints today and walked off. I even told him I’m not upset but disappointed and let him know the service and staff was excellent and it’s our first time here. We purchased an item they recommended and again crazy salty.

Fast breakfast sit down, wow was it good! My wife had the regular eggs benedict, I had the breakfast burrito 🌯 😋 Kids enjoyed pancakes and bacon. Fresh squeezed OJ omg

Poached is a hybrid restaurant. Meaning you order at the counter. You sit at the table and wait for your service. The food was good but the service was better. However, a restaurant like an IHOP or a Denny's would be comparable but less expensive.

Bit confusing when we arrived since we had a reservation but it’s an order and sit kind of place. Outside patio was shaded and lovely. Indoors is also very cute and welcoming. Great simple decor and furniture.
Food was excellent, would definitely come again! Gets busy around 10 am so come early to avoid a wait.

First visit here and “WE WILL BE BACK”. The ladies taking your order when you enter were very pleasant and friendly. The entire staff was very professional, friendly, attentive and amazing. Food was excellent and the wait time was very short. Highly recommend this establishment. We had the egg sandwich and avocado toast and highly recommend BUT I would say every plate looked so good. Great value for the price. 👏👏👏👏

The food tasted great and is served fast and hot. The service is amazing. It's a sign of a well-run place when everyone working there seems happy to be there. I've been twice and don't feel the need to go anywhere else but Poached for breakfast—one of the best dining experiences I've ever had.

So excited to have this place in Anaheim Hills. Love the open air floorplan. Super bright; excellent vibe inside with good music and comfortable chairs. Food was great and even though it was fast casual, service was great too. Quality ingredients from their water all the way to the ketchup on the table. Coffee was surprisingly good too

The avocado toast with poached egg was very tasty. Loved the microgreens on it. Also had a lavender latte that was very good. A welcome addition to the local breakfast scene.

The eggs Benedict short ribs were very perfectly cooked, with lots of yolk. The short ribs were juicy and had a little kick, which I really liked. I would return for the Benedicts, but a lot of the other menu items were overpriced in my opinion.

Poached Kitchen is amazing! Their food is spot on, service is excellent and the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous! Such a great addition to Anaheim Hills. Definitely my new go to brunch and lunch spot.

The first thing I immediately loved about this place is that it is not loud. The music is kept at a low volume, conducive to enjoyable conversation. A big plus! The outdoor seating is lovely, but even the indoor feels open and airy due to the layout. The food was great! We had breakfast tacos, breakfast burritos, and pancakes. The service was quick too. The only less than ideal thing we experienced is that since you order prior to being seated, you don't really have a server assigned to your table and in our case nobody brought drink refills unless we flagged someone down as they ran past. Overall, it was a great first experience and we are thrilled to have such a desperately needed breakfast option added to the Anaheim Hills area.

Nice little place to eat and chill. Kinda over priced. Very clean. Food wasn't anything exceptional. I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of flavor in the short ribs in the omelet. It seemed to be missing salt or something. I'll try something else next time. Maybe I got the wrong dish?

This place is amazing!!!!! This place has healthy, clean food. Even their ketchup has no high fructose and no corn syrup.
I really enjoyed the service. I feel like they treated me like a queen very clean nice environment and the food was amazing. I give this store a rating of a 10.
