Obnoxious security camera that is very loud when ANYTHING passes by. All night for the past week tenants in the units around this place have been hearing “No trespassing in this area, video surveillance is being recorded”. This goes off every couple of minutes when an animal or bird flies by or even a car driving in the road.

Visited here while on a trip to Anaheim and I'm so glad I did. I'm familiar with their mango cart beer, but I was very surprised by the large selection of beers and seltzers on draft. I sat at the counter inside but they have other bar counters outside and a huge patio sesting area.

The staff was friendly and I enjoyed the huge baked pretzel and the flight of four beers.

Shitty ambience McDonald’s brewery.

Went here Friday night and every bartender and waitress was rude.

Only nice employees were the professional busser and the young African American woman who brought out our horrible food.

Junk place dusty tasting beer don’t waste your clams.

They have a server based system and prefer you don't go up to the bar to get your drinks, but it takes forever to wait for a server. Can't even enjoy yourself because you're spending 20 minutes flailing your arms around waiting for your server to notice you every time you want something.

Even worse, if you don't close out with your server (and why would you when it takes 20 minutes to do so?), they force a 20% tip on you when they close you out the end of the day. Essentially rewarding the server that ignored you with a 20% tip because you didn't want to wait forever to close out with them.

They need to just let people get drinks at the bar, and if someone orders a lot of drinks or food, give them a table number and have a server bring it out. Every other brewery seems to have it figured it out except this one. Definitely don't prefer coming here but every once in a while I'll find myself here and its the same experience every time.

I had a bad experience when we got there we didn't get at all I have to go to front and ask for a server and they never came by to ask us for food or menu. There were not that much of people inside the building. I very disappointed. We were by the pool table and waited for a server to help for about 25min. It's a ridiculous about the service.

So beware on Game Days, their parking lot, turns into a PAID parking. $20 to park for a spot that is usually free of charge.
Lots of space instead! Picnic tables and open ledge seats. Main bar was only open, not the back patio ones.
Other than that— great chill vibes for a drink or snacks before Angels game (which is literally down the street from here. Can see it from bench seats outside), or in our case 5 min drive from Honda Center for PBR!

In theory it’s a great spot. The food is just not good and overpriced. The drinks are okay. I don’t think I would ever come back just because for me at least the service was consistently poor the three times I’ve been here. The first time was the worst, as I felt stupid walking around trying to figure out if we seat ourselves, if we have to check in to order, etc. I had to ask three different workers just to get a straight answer on how it worked and they were annoyed at me. Just not very welcoming. Also, the three times I went the servers were subpar at best. Consistently waited 20/30 minutes to be acknowledged. The servers always forgot things I asked for (I had to ask for drinks I ordered several times- and I mean getting up to find the server because they were nowhere to be found) and they would never come back to check on us until they brought the bill. For the high price tag and the hassle with parking (and the disgusting bathrooms) it’s not worth it to me. But someone who doesn’t mind all that I think would have a great time.

Great place with a nice outdoor patio. Relaxed vibe, I am sure when there is an Angel game it gets crowded... didn't try the food, but the beers were good👍. Okay I have been here multiple times now, this is such a fun spot! The food is great and they have lots of seating areas and games to play. The only problem is the limited amount of parking and if there is an event at the stadium it will be worse, get there early because lots of people pregame at this great spot😃.

The absolute worst service i have ever gotten from a waitress. She was rude from the start. The bartenders were great! I really wanted to like this place since its right across the street from the angels stadium and seems like a great place to pre game.

The waitress, i didnt get her name but she was extremely unfriendly and her attitude when she approached our table was not what i was expecting. "Are you ready? The bartender told me you wanted to order food, im here." I had asked the bartender how do i order food, at the bar or at the table? And he said he was going to send someone, sure enough that someone was horrible.

I think the place is OK. I would say 4 stars for groups, given the ability to accommodate huge size/parties and relaxed atmosphere for talking.

But, beer wise and parking and ambiance altogether - would give it a 3.

We came on a Saturday night a few months ago, and it was a bit long to grab a beer, with only 2 people working.

We haven't gone back since, nothing wrong at all. Just think there are far better places to spend your time and money for beer. Really convenient spot though for Angels game pre- or post.

Very low quality food, beers drinks are not very interesting, servers don’t really care what you think, they just want to throw you a drink & have you f off. Not many people in there, almost dying out crowd on a Saturday with a game across the street, hottest summer temperatures and all kinds of Olympics games on all TVs, is a sign things are not so hot at this place? One bar was closed already too.

I don’t get it. I will left minus 5 starts if I could. Came to have a lunch my wife and I. We cannot eat spicy food so I asked first for guacamole and chips but not jalapeño in the guacamole the server came back say that they guacamole it was already made with jalapeños and they cannot make a guacamole without. Lazy chef. Then I ask for chicken wings with bbq sauce and the server came saying that the bbq is spicy too and they don’t have a regular bbq. I don’t get it so people that they cannot eat spicy food cannot eat at this restaurant or is just the chef that made all food first thing in the morning and he doesn’t want to work extra . We will never come back to this place again. This chef should be fired right away . Lazy people. How long it takes to make a guacamole? Owner of this place if you want me to come here and show the chef how to make a guacamole en less than 5 minutes let me know . I will be glad to show that person ( not a chef) how to run a kitchen.

Beers are good, but worth the wait and cold food? Or incomplete orders? Not for me.

Btw. They charge parking even if you are not headed to a game across the street. They don’t do that next door.

I recently visited Golden Road Brewing in Anaheim to catch the Champions League game between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund. The atmosphere was electric, with fans cheering on their teams – especially exciting since Real Madrid came out on top! It was a perfect spot to watch the game with a fun and lively crowd.
Wide selection of pub fare, but limited options for vegetarians and vegans.

Good beer and decent food, but they need to work on their service. Been here over the last 5 years or so and often wait up to 30 minutes for anyone to come along. I've gone up to the bar to try to order to help them out, but often get turned away. If you flag someone down they try to find your server by literally asking individual severs. No organization, but often a lot of staff standing around, usually just talking to each other. It doesn't matter if it's busy or if you're only one of few people there; prepare for a wait. After getting rid of some of their better food options, maybe not worth it.

Coming on game day, my party knew it would be really busy (Angel's game). That being said, about 4 parties of 4 sat down nearby us, all were helped before us. The gentleman manning the bar (we decided to grab a drink from there directly as it took 30-40 minutes for our server to come to us) was not friendly and was rude when I said I didn’t have a tab yet - almost snapped at me “Onlh people at the bar can have a tab.” Ok dude, calm down - also, hi? How are you? 😂 This was my first impression.

Our server didn't tell us sauce was extra - I wanted one side of ranch, my friend with me hates sauces. She brought us 2 and charged us $.75. She didn't tell us it was extra, and we didn't want two (one of them was $.50).

It took an outrageous amount of time to get helped, the parties who sat after us got food before we even ordered.

I called to ask about a pending charge of the $60 bill in addition to my $60 completed transaction. The person on the phone had an attitude of "it is what it is, can't help you." When I asked to speak with a manager, more of the "sorry can't help you" attitude.

Update: the pending charge of $60 in addition to a completed $60 charge still hasn’t fallen off 4 days later. I have never experienced this anywhere else. It’s unacceptable. My bank said it was bizarre as well.

I've been a server and worked in operations and service industry for a long time - all of this is entirely not cool. The only answer to all of this should be "So sorry you had a poor experience." They asked me to hold to talk to a manager and I didn't have time for that, so I let them know I wouldn't be back.

Support a local brewery instead of a corporate-owned one like Golden Road, who will also have a poor attitude if you have anything to share feedback on. For the record, I was entirely respectful, nice, and calm in all the interactions. Disappointed.

Good overall brewery, especially in the outdoor area on warm days. Food is fair to not that good (in comparison to similar places) and is overpriced, but the drinks are good, many are $9 each.

Service has consistently been poor in comparison to similar restaurants and breweries, with the staff often rude or not attentive. My fiancé and I are visiting California from Ontario, Canada and were looking for a brewery to stop at in the afternoon for a quick bite and a beer. I found Golden Road online and it looked to be what I was looking for. It did not disappoint.
This place is HUGE. There is so much indoor and outdoor seating. There are nice big windows, a beautiful bar, tvs, and just the overall feel of the place is awesome. The Mango Cart beer was honestly the best beer i've ever had. Even my usually non-beer-drinking fiancé had one. The fried avocado tacos were amazing. Our server Ryan was great. He was very friendly, especially when he found out we were fellow Ducks fans. We will definitely be back.
My only complaint is that we can't take this place (or 12 cases of beer) home with us.

There are some heating lamps outside if you are there at night you just have to find an available table with one since they have a limited amount. The servers were quick and checked on us frequently so our drinks were constantly filled. They have parking on either side of the building but it was full the night I was there and a lot of people had to park on the street. Making this review after about 4-5 visits.

1. This place deserves to be on kitchen nightmares for how bad their food is. We tried nachos, burger, mac and cheese, and a couple other sides. Everything was completely bland and tasted like school cafeteria food (low quality ingredients). Was definitely not an isolated incident we ordered food on multiple visits and everyone was always in agreement of the poor quality. I promise it won’t even taste good if you’re drunk or hungry😂

2. Mine and multiple other people in my party got stale beer on more than one occasion.

3. We had extremely long waits 50% of the time. When we entered, we found multiple instances where tables meant to hold parties of 6+ and had 2 or 3 people seated, indicating mismanagement by hostesses.

4. On one visit where we were a party of 8, the server added a 30% tip for himself on the final bill by default. We didn’t notice then since we had too much to drink. We found out by calling the place the next day and was only provided a receipt after saying we’d have to dispute the charge with our credit card company.

5. On another visit our servers switched halfway after food and drinks were received. After paying the bill the new server came back and said “sir you forgot to add a tip to the bill” and when I said “I know” she then proceeded to repeat herself 4 times getting louder each time, attempting to shame me in front of my best friends into tipping. I was gonna leave a cash tip for my server that gave me the food and drinks since this new server didn’t do anything for us. I finally held my ground and told her “I’m not leaving a tip” which made her storm out in frustration.

Reasons listed go from least to most important. The fact that food is their smallest issue is scary. Unfortunately will not be giving them another chance. Even if you’re looking to celebrate and this is the last place in Orange County, go pickup some beers from Trader Joe’s and pizza. You’ll have a much better time.

I'm a sucker for popcorn chicken, so I'm a fan of anywhere that offers it. Everyone else ordered tacos and enjoyed. The portions were a normal size (but some would say on the smaller size for American standards).

My boyfriend and I rented the private venue at Golden Road Anaheim for his 30th birthday this past weekend and it could not have gone more perfect! First off, Marilu, our event coordinator, was so kind, communicative and explained everything we needed to know. The room had a dining area, private bar, and private restrooms. We had a Halloween theme for our party and the staff even offered to dress up for our event! Ruben, our server and attendant for the night, was also spectacular! He was so friendly and on top of our needs the entire night, whether it was drinks, food, cleaning up, or changing up the music.

When we arrived for our event an hour before, we were stressing about decorating and setting up for the party. Well, our worries melted away as we stepped into the venue and saw that they had already set up all the lighting, music and decor! They helped us add all of our spooky Halloween touches to make our vision come alive. They even put together a little birthday card with a gift, which was just above and beyond! All in all, if you are interested in renting out this place for your next event, do not hesitate!! The staff and venue are the best of the best and we will definitely have Golden Road in mind for our next event! Thank you so so much for an unforgettable night! ☺️

But our favorite part was how many other dogs were there and the dedicated dog playpen equipped with poop bags and all. Golden Road Brewing was our early dinner location before the Angel game Saturday night. Overall experience was pretty good. It was busy and loud (to be expected). Waitress was pleasant and attentive. Food, on the other hand, was VERY disappointing. My Classic burger was barely warm and completely dry, like it had been in the corner of the grill for awhile and just discovered when my order came through. Cheese was supposed to be cheddar but looked like plastic American that overpowered everything. Luckily I asked for my sauce on the side so was able to peel off the cheese slice. My son chose a different burger plate and said it was just OK. (The fries were good! Lol) In hindsight, I probably should have asked for a new burger. Instead, next time, I will go elsewhere in search of better food.

This place doesn’t deserve not even a star I went there w my family and there was lots mess with our order my family wasn’t treated with respect and they were so racist!! Yes especially their manager that big lady who was useless. I Guess her name was Morgan she was called due to the situation and she was no help I’m not sure who though she was fit for that position she is nothing close to have management talents whatsoever!! This place is great location but needs a totally different management team

Saw a poor girl tonight get totally embarrassed by a bartender because she was accused of having a fake ID. They called the cops and everything and after making a big show and being so accusatory and rude to her, it turns out the cops confirmed it was a real, legit ID!! What happened to innocent until proven guilty?? He made her feel so bad and yelled at her in front of everyone for NO REASON, we all felt so bad for her. Learn better customer service skills and stop bullying your customers. We won't be coming back because the whole scene the bartender made was so uncomfortable. It was so dumb and pointless, you ruined her night and now lost some loyal customers just because you're bad at your job and wanted to act like a big shot. BOOOOO!!👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

About 15 of us gathered at Golden Road as the first part of the celebration of my son Erik's 37th birthday before joining several others at the Angels' game tonight. Because the attendees were sort of struggling in, I decided to order several items to share. I ordered short rib street tacos, grilled shrimp tacos, a wild mushroom/grilled onion pizza with white sauce and two types of cheese and the brisket nachos. Personally, I had a slice of the pizza, one of the shrimp tacos and some of the nachos. Everything I ate tasted great. Those who ate the short rib tacos said they were great, too. Our server MaryLou recommended the Irish Red. Excellent recommendation! She did a great job!

Jaime was on top of it. She checked on us (a party of 8) who all showed at different times. Brought food as soon as it was done even if the rest of the food wasn’t done. Family oriented. Songs welcome.

Love the environment on the outside patio on a nice summer day!! Ordering is easy enough outside you can either walk up to the bar or order from the ever circulating servers making their rounds. We were lucky we got our server jalen, he gave a great recommendation on a seltzer and was super attentive. We’re local - so we’ll be back for sure!

Got the Bavarian pretzel which came with a delicious beer cheese. Only complaint is that there was only a small cup of the beer cheese. For such a large pretzel, more beer cheese would be necessary.

This review is long overdue! I've been to multiple Golden Road locations, but this is hands down my favorite! Great spot to grab some pregame drinks/food before heading to Angel Stadium. Super spacious area with plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. There are TV's everywhere featuring different games so you can kinda consider this place a hybrid brewery/sports bar.

Service has always been spectacular especially during those weird pandemic times. Every server we've had has provided an exceptional experience from start to finish. Kudos to their recruiting and training staff!

Food is your typical junk food so nothing to really rave about but they do offer a ton of vegan options for all my plant-based Yelpers out there. And remember, this is a brewery so you come here for the booze, not the food

I've tried pretty much all their beers even the canned ones they sell at grocery stores and without a doubt MANGO CART on tap is the absolutely best! So refreshing anytime of the year, day or night. For a while this was my go-to party drink for any occasion.

If you're keen for a fun, outdoor, sports bar-vibe brewery - head to this Anaheim location!

I have not actually been to this location. But I called them to ask about parking when there is an angel game going on. The guy who answered the phone was very nice and upfront about everything. He said if you get there two hours before game time, the angels charge $20 for parking in Golden road’s parking lot. Even if you’re only going to Golden Road! He also said they will give you five dollars off your bill at Golden Road.

If you get there say an hour after the game starts, it’s free parking in their lot. They’re usually are spaces.

So whoever answer the phone gave great information and was very helpful. I’ve just been trying to find time to go!

Awesome, fun brewery! Very cool, open concept and loved all the outdoor seating areas. Bars located both inside and outside to order drinks. Inside has seating as well, along with a small merch shop and TV's for watching the game. Great beer as well! There are so many draft options to pick from! Can't beat the Mango Cart, though.
It does get very busy when the Angels have a home game!

Gotta go! 11/10 - heavy hitters hiding.

Know them for their mango cart, but they also bat strong at the plate with some great IPA’s and heavy hitters. Great food and beer, what more can you ask for?!

Bartenders and Doug (dude with the shades) are gentlemen and scholars.

Like most breweries: Good beer, good vibes.

My "LA style" mango cart was actually just with rimmed with tajin. Thought it was something a little more special but it's pretty much that--still good though and adds a nice pucker!

The cauli wings were surprisingly good with a nice saucy batter and a good texture when you bite into it.
