Ding Tea Anaheim

Didn't even know this place existed until this weekend, but sure am glad i stumbled across it. The place is very clean and cozy and the tea is fantastic. I got the jasmine green milk tea and fell in love at first taste. It's very mellow and mildly sweet but not overpowering. I'll definitely be making a future purchase here.

Gave me burnt rice and no straw for my boba drink. This is my lunch. I have to eat this because I have not eaten all day. I did schedule ahead of time, so it would interfere with the food rush.

Disappointed!

It's not great. The boba overpowers the drink. The service was poor. They weren't the friendliest. It gets an extra star because the decorb is really nice and Instagram worthy but that's the highlight by far. My personal recommendation is to go to the 7 leaves across the street if you can. The tea is better there for sure.

They need to update their menu on google maps because I thought their milk teas specifically one milk tea I wanted was gonna be $4.10 but when I went to the actual location it’s $4.35 and to top it off, they charge extra a topping and to make it a large. I spent around almost 6 dollars for a Milk tea :/ I guess what’s cool is that they have snacks on their menu unlike other Boba shops that don’t but unfortunately they ran out of the chicken wings and the calamari (I wanted the calamari). It’s probably the tea they use because my milk tea come out eh, alright. Not the best I have tasted. I didn’t stay in that location for too long because the environment itself is pretty dead. I probably came at the wrong time when it’s not busy.

My favorite part about this place was the customer service. Specifically my server, Kyle. He was so kind and caring. Unfortunately I dropped one of my drinks on the way out but they helped accommodate the situation. I felt that Kyle really put in effort to make my experience as best as possible. Thank you Kyle, you deserve a raise.

Drinks are ok, but customer service not the best. I had a buy 2 get 1 free promotion code but they didn’t want to honor it even tho it hadn’t expired, according to them that promotion was a glitch in the system and that’s why the couldn’t do it. Really!!! If it was a glitch in the system how come it was in their tablet when I signed in.

Today was my first time going there and the staff was friendly and professional. I would give a better review but, the cashier hadn't given my sister her receipt so we didn't know what know what number were. The lady didn't call us while we were waiting outside and there were 5 people who ordered after us and they had received their drinks first. Second me an day younger sisters drinks we minty and bitter. I had ordered jasmine green milk tea and the drink had a bitter mint taste. While my younger sisters was a strong mint taste rather than vanilla. We didn't order mint or any special order for our drinks. I would maybe go again but the drinks tasted as if they didn't clean the cups in-between. :(

no wifi or bathroom - - compared to 7leaves across the street which has both and ample study and seating space. It's a shame because the drink options are nice

Drinks are ok, but customer service not the best. Hip place to grab some milk tea boba. You can also customize your drink by reducing sugar by half or so. Their boba is cooked well too.

I would give this place an absolute zero this is NOT boba if you really want to drink good boba drive yourself to garden grove to get real boba I ordered four bobas and it was supposed to be 21 dollars and I have him 25 the cashier only gave me a dollar back her was supposed to give me 4 dollars more and they hadn’t gave us a receipt which was so unprofessional I would rate this place a zero not one star never coming back to this place again and I’m letting everyone know about this place 🤮🤢 this is not a place to get “BOBA”

Only been here a few times for coffee and sweet potato fries they have always been fresh and consistent. I appreciate the hospitality the employees are always friendly and helpful :)

Came to order a brown sugar milk tea… did a pretty sloppy job. It taste like a regular milk tea when Brown sugar milk tea usually stands out. First time coming … LAST time coming. Terrible service at night so i dont recommend going at night.

This place is the WORST DINGTea. Absolutely worst, drive to garden grove if u want your drink made correctly.

Update: Apparently it is the same thing, it’s just sooo bad that I couldn’t believe it was the same drink that I’ve been ordering multiple times at other ding tea. 2/10 on taste. I should have drove to the ding tea on garden grove.

Great service, fast. Following the CDC GUIDELINES. establishment request to wear a face mask. And you wait outside for your drink to be ready!. Current hours 11am to 9pm.

Good selection and the tea taste not bad. I recommend 50% sugar so that you can taste the flavor the tea as opposed to just plain sugar.

I’ve always enjoyed coming to this Ding Tea but there’s one moment that makes me so happy to visit this specific location. I went in and I was wearing a Haikyuu Jersey and when I went in to pick up my order they were playing one of the OPs!! It made my day and honestly nothing is ever going to top that customer service!

Me personally I don't like tea but my kids told me how good it is thought I try it did not like it and the jelly boba I did not like either maybe what I got idk but it was my first time and it was just nasty to me in my opinion cuz I don't like tea anyway.

Not as great as many of the reviews say. Ordered the "HOT" Hokkaido milk tea. It was luke warm. Not that great of a taste. Had the cold lychee one too, before. It was not great that time either. Maybe I'm used to the traditional places.

Great little boba shop that is a little small on the inside. The drinks are delicious and the service is pretty fast here. Only reason why I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars is because apparently this chain is franchised out and the rewards system isn't uniform across all locations. Annoying!

It's a beautiful little tea shop to hang & relax! Great service, workers are friendly, the shop is very vintage & fresh. I definitely recommend the taro tea with Boba😊

Favorite Ding Tea location. Amazing customer service from Christina! Every time I come here, she always makes excellent recommendations on what to order. I love that she also reminds me of new menu items as well.

Parking here can be tricky because it's a lot shared with other businesses in that plaza. Love the video games and study areas as well!

Definitely one of my go-to places for a tea drink.

The interior is pretty nice. They got a good amount of seating and fancy wall decorations for your social media posts. They also have a TV mounted on the wall with an arcade controller for two attached - the games are classic arcade games: some you've heard of and some you haven't.

I'm not crazy about add-ons so I haven't tried too much of them, but my go-to is their "golden boba". It's their only boba option I believe...I think they have a different taste than regular boba, but I honestly can't tell too much. I wasn't too crazy about the coffee jelly, but maybe it's because I got a coffee milk tea and it was a bit too much coffee for me.

My favorite thing about this place is the level of customization you can give your drinks. You can pick how much ice you want and even how much sugar you want. Not many tea places I've been to allow you to customize the level of ice or sugar - if they do then it wasn't presented to me in the fashion that Ding Tea presents it.

The only issue I came across, ever, was that it was a bit too hot inside one time and they had a fan circulating. Not the highest of tech, and it wasn't really working, but I was only there for a drink to-go. I can see how it might've been annoying had I dined in.

Aside from that, everything has been A+. Friendly staff, a wide arrangement of delicious drinks, and a solid location too! I tend to think tea places are in crowded venues...but this one has plenty of parking and is easily noticeable when you're driving by.

My favorites: Thai tea and winter melon. I get all of my drinks half sugar though. I suggest you get your drinks at face value though and go from there.

As always Ding Tea is delicious, clean, reasonably priced, and courteous. This location stays true tho that business model. Very happy that this new shop is even closer to my home so that I can indulge my tea jones more than once a day!
