The food was good. Drinks were tasty, especially the cookie butter latte was both our favorite! Breakfast sandwich was good.
Not the greatest of service applied here. Definitely doesn’t carry the welcome in gesture or greeting. We had put our name down on waitlist, once we got the phone call that our table is ready to come in. As soon as we walk in the girl points to our table from across the room says “ you guys are sitting at that corner table. “
Did take some time for food to come out which we had finished our drinks, never got checked in on but once our food was delivered she was immediately trying to step away we had to stop her to ask for another round of drinks as she still was trying to walk away slowly. So then of course she brought one wrong drink back. Also take some time for her to bring back our card so we could leave.
The restaurant is small. Parking lot is crowded.
In my own words this is a one time place.
Just decent, not memorizing.

SUPER good breakfast spot! However if you’re looking for a quick sit down you’re not going to find that here, this place is super tasty so there is always a line/ wait. For a party of 3 we waited about 20 minutes to be sat down but it was 100% worth it. The lavender lemonade was so amazing, a perfect balance of lavender and lemonade, the breakfast sandwich was equally as tasty. Because I don’t eat pork I took out the bacon and added guacamole and it was still super delicious, 10/10 would recommend!

I looked for the best restaurants and I’m not disappointed. I had the bulgogi Benedict and a matcha lavender latte. The latte was too sweet for my taste but very delicious.
They were super nice. We went on a Saturday morning and we had to wait, but the waiting is worth at the end. I feel like the Korean fusion with the breakfast I usually have, its very tasty. Something uncommon and exquisite.
Also I had a Mexican phone and one of the waiters offered her personal phone to be able to call me for my table, that was super sweet.
And thanks for the manager! My friend forgot her purse and they saved it for her even after the closure hours. An amazing experience since we arrived and very nice about what happened to us. I’d definitely recommend this place.

WOW 😮 why didn’t I know about this place @8thhauscafe I had the chorizo toast which has eggs, esquites, aioli sauce and hot Cheetos . Weird combination but it works. Check them out but call in advance because the wait time is about 1 hr. #brunch #anahiem #toast #esquites #eggs #mimosa #food #eats #eddie #chorizo #avacodo
Guess who is back, sorry I have been MIA, but I had to stop by @8thhauscafe in Anaheim to have a little brunch. First it was the red velvet waffles with s’mores and strawberries, let me tell you this melts in your mouth. Second dish is chilaquiles with chorizo and eggs with a nice green salsa kick. Both are great and amazing love coming here. Check them out if you are near by just make sure to come early cuz they have a good wait time. #brunch #eddie #eats #chilaquiles #waffles #eggs #anaheim #salsa #mimosas #early #velvet #red #review #tummy #food #foodie

the food is great... however, the service is HORRIBLE!! the girls that work there have a horrible attitude! the girl who sat us was extremely rude and impatient and bit-chee... after talking to her manager, who didn't seem to care at all, the server talked to the other girls and they all the ignored our table for quite a while.. i waved my hand and she looked me straight in the eyes and looked away, continuing to ignore us... we have been offered ANYTHING at this point.. not even drinks, coffee, nothing... finally we had to get up again and walk to to their little hidden corner and requested service immediately... the place is extremely small, so it was obvious she was being a brat on purpose.. had to talk to the manager again and asked if he allows all his customers to be treated this way and if he doesn't like paying customers... finally got service at that point... the servers are in need of a serious attitude adjustment... why do they have a server job if they don't like being a server!?!?! never going to this place again... i can find tasty breakfast food anywhere, and won't have a rude ego maniac server to ruin my morning

I was really excited to try 8th Haus, but my experience was far from delightful. The atmosphere was cute, and the menu had a lot of tempting options, but unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended.
I ordered the “Red Velvet” waffle, which sounded amazing. However, when it arrived, it was overly red and the flavour’s just didn’t work together. I pushed through, hoping it would get better, but about 10 minutes after finishing, I felt sick. I ended up throwing up right after leaving the restaurant.
I can’t say I’ll be returning anytime soon. It was just an off day, but I left feeling more than disappointed—definitely not the experience I was hoping for. Proceed with caution!

Found this place randomly and we're so happy we stopped. TikTok popular spot! When we arrived, there was a long line of people, but thankfully, we were taking the food to go. We tried their Ube Horchata latte, waffle, and cream Brulé waffles. The drink took a few minutes to make and they brought it out to us. The food only took 15 minutes and the presentation was aesthetically pleasing. The drink was so yummy too - it was sweet. There are seats inside but it's a bit smaller. Parking is easy.

So we got the tirimisu french toast and a breakfast sandwich that came with potatoes. The potatoes and the peach iced tea I drank were the only thing we really enjoyed. The french toast has too much of a dark chocolate flavor, when I eat french toast I expect something sweet not bitter. The breakfast sandwich was really good, except there was a white hair in it, which ruined my appetite. The facility was nicely decorated and our waiter was very kind. I think the other reviews overhype this place too much, the food has good presentation but the flavor simply isn't there. I would go back only for that peach tea though, it was amazing!!

This place knows how to build a BEAUTIFUL plate. More than that, the food on the plate is absolutely delicious. We were coming from out of state on vacation and finding this restaurant made us tempted to move out here. We went multiple days and tried a few things on the menu; highly recommend the lattes in general (especially the cookie butter and the ube horchata) and the tiramisu French toast, but everything we had was delicious.
Food was excellent, plating beautiful, atmosphere/vibe great, and it's a good price point for what you're getting. I really need the locals to keep this place in business so we can come back the next time we're on vacation!

I would give this place about a 4 stars. The service was great. The place is very small and not as clean as I would have liked it. We sat next to the Window and the window seal was absolutely dirt and nasty to look at while had to wait for my food. Only about 8-10 groups can fit in this tiny restaurant.
As far as the food everything was very over the top and full of sugar. Like a instagram photo op type of meal. None of the waffles or pancakes options were just regular, it was covered in chocolate, ice cream, sugar, you name it it’s covered on top. I can have sweets so that kinds of sucked. Also all the drinks were very over the top full of sugar and sweets. They did have tea but it was over priced. 3+ dollars for a cup of hot water and a tea bag no thank you. I did taste a bit of everything and while it’s all covered in sugar it was good. The shrimp and grits were surprisingly delicious and my sandwich was amazing.

The food was AMAZING but the service was terrible. The girls working there all have attitudes and were unpleasant. The location was sketchy and the building itself was run down. There isn’t a formal waiting area so if there isn’t a table available they will ask you to wait outside in the freezing rain until they come and get you…. Regardless if you have a small baby with you as we did.
Very disappointing that our experience wasn’t great as the food was yummy and picturesque.

We couldn’t be happier to stop in here. Everything we ate and drank was amazing and the ladies were so kind and sweet. The presentation was also impressive. Honestly disappointed. They told us an hour wait but we waited maybe 15 mins. First the Ube matcha had no taste of matcha at all and just slight taste of Ube but it is way too sweet for my taste.
Then the food, I was looking forward to the Ube waffle, the texture was great and it tasted ok but there was again no Ube taste at all. The spicy pork quesadilla was SO SALTY! I had to drink a whole cup of water for it (which isn’t provided and I have to ask for it). The bulgolgi Benedict was underwhelming as well, did not taste anything special.
Overall, I don’t think I will go back. This place is kind of overrated.

WOW.....we loved this little breakfast gem!
Everything about it was great....service was fast and friendly, the menu was different and creative, and DELICIOUS!!!
I was able to taste the Chorizo Avocado Toast ....AMAZING.....the combination of flavors was so nice! Slightly spicy chorizo, cooling avocado, enquires, and topped with hot chito dust!
I ordered the Bolgulgi Benidict....this is a must try if you are into something different! The combination of flavors, the tender seasoned beef, perfectly cooked eggs and kimchi all paired wonderfully together! My only minor wish would have been warmed kimchi....the cold kimchi really cooled the dish quickly.
The people we were eith had the chilequiles, and the SoCal Benidict.....both looked great and were thoroughly enjoyed!
The four of us also got the Red Velvet Waffle to share something sweet.
WOW....must try....even though the server said we must try the Ube Waffles!
All in all, 8th Haus Cafe is a must try when you are in Anaheim! I know if I'm ever in the area again I'll make an appearance!

This is a great little restaurant that has unique and delicious food! I came for the first time with a friend and tried the Spicy Pork Quesadilla and was blown away by the portion size, presentation, and rich combination of flavors! My friend ordered the French toast and was equally impressed. While the place is small, it is charming and has some eclectic decor. The service was good, though they were a little busy - but the good was so good that I didn't mind the wait one bit. We sipped tasty mimosas while waiting for our food and we will definitely be coming back soon.

Amazing hidden gem. I found out about this place by Internet.
My 7&10 year old loves everything.
They got tiramisu French toast and waffles. I was debating between salmon toast and chilaquiles. Of course I went with the chilaquiles, amazing flavors, not so spicy. Everything was well put together. To drink I had an Ube latte but I felt it too heavy for me. My husband had a mimosa and it was the best mimosa ever. Service was excellent, I made a huge mess and they were quick to help us all out.
The only thing was the place was a bit too small. Other than that...... we will be visiting again!
P.s a mimosa is a must !!!!

Its been a while since a meal actually left me impressed and 8th Haus did exactly that! Getting on the waitlist was easy and we waited less than 10mins, however, in hindsight with how good everything was I would’ve easily waited 2hrs. I wish I could remember the servers name, but the service was hospitable and efficient. We ordered two lattes and they came out quick and delicious. Everything was so balanced and not too sweet but perfectly flavorful. The same goes for the Cinnamon Pancakes. There were so many textures and flavors but they all came together so well and again, was never too rich or sweet. The breakfast sandwich, albeit a simple sandwich, was packed with spices and cheese that helped make each bite truly as good as the last. It was really an excellent meal and I can’t wait to come back!

Well if you have not eaten here yet, you need to today. I am very impressed with the unique breakfast choices. I ordered the mushroom roast and it was simply delightful! A tomato pesto maybe ricotta ? with mushrooms on sourdough with a truffle oil and egg on top. So tasty! I also ordered the lychee panna cotta and was not disappointed, it was so incredibly good with fresh fruit like mango and blueberry. The panna cotta was surrounded by a chia pudding. Wow. I ordered the bulgogi breakfast to go and it looked amazing. Coffee was actually good. They had fancy cold coffee drinks, I saw people drinking them, they looked terrific. I also liked the odd decor with random scotch bottles on the wall and a beautiful wall painting of a lady. The place is a wee bit tight but worth the wait! I will def come back to try more dishes!

Not sure if had my expectations set too high for this place but my experience was underwhelming. We got the mushroom omelette and bulgogi benedict. Both plates had fresh ingredients and were decorated beautifully. Individually, the components were fantastic. However, all the flavors, despite their complexity and harmony, did not offer enough intensity to leave a memorable impression. I also thought everything wasn't salty enough. This is a must try if you are in the area.
We got the Strawberry Matcha Latte and that was a bit too powdery for my liking.
We also got the Tiramisu French toast which had a great flavor and i loved the abundance of fresh fruit to pair with it.
The Chorizo Avocado Toast was amazing. I still crave it. The sauces and the hot cheetos made it special, with just the right amount of spice.
Lastly the spicy pork quesadilla was good. It was just the right amount of spice. It was a generous portion and a bit messy.
The ambiance wasn’t too special and could be worked on for it to compete with the food performance.

I’ve never been to a brunch spot with such bad service. The girl with pink hair was sweet but the chubby girl with a velvet shirt was really rude and passive aggressive. Anytime we asked for condiments we received attitude back I didn’t know they hire high schoolers? Thought the age restrictions for restaurants was 18 and over? Anyways, I asked for certain accommodations they could not meet, the food was greasy and not cooked right. Besides the presentation the food was mediocre, would not recommend 1/5. If the service was at least great then this wouldn’t have been a bad experience. The energy and atmosphere was awful do not believe the positive reviews lol

This place has been recommended as a breakfast option, I finally was able to try it out. I really enjoy this place cant wait to try more items. The place is small there is a bit if a wait if you dont mind. I really enjoyed the decorations very homey vibes in my eyes. Parking was a little difficult to get not sure is because of the time we went.

This is the best breakfast restaurant in Anaheim. The food is very tasty, regular portion sizes, and aesthetically pleasing.
There was a wait, but that doesn’t matter we will definitely be coming back.

I had the chilaquiles, as a foodie from SF I can honestly say these are amazing, the sauce is perfect a little heat a little and perfect balance in flavor. The tortilla is still a bit crispy and soaking up the amazing sauce, the eggs were cooked perfectly
Highly recommend this place

I absolutely love their Ube waffle! It's such a beautifully plated dish and tastes just as good as it looks. It's light and fluffy too, not heavy like most waffles. I usually put syrup on my waffles but this needed none, the sauces provided were enough with the sweetness of the Ube. Highly recommend.

I visited 8th Haus Cafe with a group of 4 other people on Easter weekend and it was great ! waited only about 15 minutes to be seated( plz note this is not the average wait time, we were lucky!). The staff were super patient as the party members trickled in. Small place but great atmosphere, big portions, and tasty menu. I had the Bulgogi Benedict and it was DELICIOUS. Also had the horchata ice latte which was yum. Everything from here looks and tastes good . Awesome brunch spot !

I was quoted an hour and 30 minute wait time. Within an hour from signing up for the waitlist, they called me to let me know that my table is ready. I pulled into the restaurant within 7 minutes of the phone call and they informed me that my table had been skipped. I was then seated 30 minutes later. Food was okay, not worth the hassle.

Was blown away by this breakfast place, my wife recommended it and was glad she did because this was probably the best breakfast I had while in southern California. Atmosphere was great and the breakfast was delicious.
