Our first trip to Anaheim, we did a Google search and read reviews before choosing this as our breakfast spot. So glad we did! The place is warm and cozy and the staff are so welcoming. It’s a family run restaurant, mother, father, daughter, cousins and uncle… pretty rare and beautiful to see. The food was just delicious! Every bite was a delight to the tastebuds. Great flavors, fresh ingredients and perfect seasoning to everything we ate. We enjoyed it so much we came back for breakfast today too. This could very easily become a regular spot if we lived in the area. Saw lots of regulars come in and receive warm, familiar greetings. Just an overall great experience and highly recommend!! These folks know what they’re doing!!!

Had good food, I felt this place needed more attention to detail. Ordered the chili cheese omelet, which was excellent. I then ordered a side of chili to pour extra on my omelet and was told it would be about a 10 - 15 minute wait due to cook having to "thaw" the chili. My husband ordered an extra egg with his breakfast, which he did not get. Hash Browns were home made, which I loved. The place could use a little updating, too.

Went here twice while on vacation. Very intimate "family diner" type setting. Food and service was great! Has their French toast breakfast. Brother had a burrito that was massive and delicious! Basic breakfasts all around but they were reallg good! Small building, only a few tables at a time but theyre quick so the wait wasnt long. Family-friendly.

We discovered this place upon leaving another restaurant due to lack of parking on a street sweeping day. We drove around and gave this place a try. It’s a humble location but once we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised with the service. The servers were very nice. Coffee was smooth and food was even tastier. We went for the Mexican Breakfast menu and it was a whole lot of food. Servers were friendly. We will go back again.

We are tourists from Texas. We wanted local breakfast off the beaten Disney path. It was ABSOLUTELY excellent! Great variety and diner-like atmosphere! Service was very attentive! From the french toast to the homemade hash browns with omelette, delish! Highly recommend to all visitors!

Great House Omelette and hashbrowns, with generous thick cut bacon. A true classic diner experience, certainly not the fanciest, but exactly what you need for a great start to the day. Pancakes were a little dense, but the rest of the standard breakfast fare was great.

I have been coming here for years and if a small, local place can survive the pandemic, that should indicate the local community says it's good. Always friendly staff, with a grill out front so you can smell and see your food coming out, this cafe can get a little busy at times but it is worth it.

A great family run breakfast spot. We ordered strawberry cream French toast which was amazing a little sweet but amazing. We ordered chiliquilas, chili Verde with eggs which was the best and also recommended their surf burrito. Service was great. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Smaller restaurant with family vibes. Seating indoors and out. Clean restrooms. Jimena was our waitress. Even helped us find stores to go shopping after we finished. Parking was available all around the building. Great place for authentic Mexican food.

My family and cousin have be coming to Country Cafe for many years. My cousin will drive over 45 minutes just to eat here. Today was not a good experience. It was a really busy morning at the cafe. We were happy they were busy since it is a family restaurant and we want them to stay open. We have been coming here for many, many years since we moved nearby. Probably over 15 years. Today, We enjoyed our food and each other's company; we were celebrating my cousin's birthday. I was not aware there were people waiting to sit down, my back was towards the door. I turned to say goodbye to one of the servers who I thought was my friend, and he kept repeating I have people waiting, I was about to say I'm so sorry, but the server turned away and focused on the other person. We walked outside and that same server made this comment when he went outside to call another customer "some people take advantage" I was really surprised at his attitude. This server could have told us I have people waiting. We would have understood. This is supposed to be a FAMILY and FRIENDLY restaurant . The people used to be so friendly and welcoming. I don't know what changed. We won't come back because this is not the first time servers have been rude, inpatient and not very friendly. We left a generous tip because we enjoyed the food and service from our waitress. Whatever happened to people talking to people. This experience left a bitter taste in my mouth. This was so hurtful because I thought we were friends and loyal customers.

Went in with my 3 buddy's for breakfast. Our server was super friendly and professional. We ordered breakfasts of different varieties. The coffee was hot and fresh and the food was amazing.

Great atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Fantastic server. A much appreciated reprise from the nearby Denny's or IHOP.

Highly recommend.

This place can be intimidating at first because everyone in there seems to know each other well, like locals and the bartender are good friends.

When you go in, just find an open seat and try to get a server's attention as they past by. If the place seems rude at first, trust me - just order and enjoy. It's a down to earth place and people are enjoying themselves like a big family gathering. Food and drinks are great!!!

This little hidden gem is amazing!!!! My family and I were in town for Disneyland and wanted a breakfast spot before we headed out for the day. I did a Google search and found this little place. Not only was the food absolutely amazing, the service was impeccable. Our waitress was the sweetest, most attentive person and the other staff would stop by to chat. Such a friendly atmosphere and amazing food. Definitely try this place. We will be back!

Yes absolutely a 💯 yes and recommend, the young lady with the short pixie hair cut was Rockstar awesome and super sweet and she was cool for showing us difference to know how to order based on the menudo bowl size.
Very small shoppe, but we made it work for my mom, who was in an electric wheel chair. The establishment has the best coffee I have ever tasted, and I don't believe they use foldgers coffee, haha. Eould recommend the menudo it can be with or without homeny. The tortillas were fresh and super soft.
I would highly recommend for a day breakfast with your family and loved ones it definitely defines the term "comfort food" for your soul!

Reasonably priced breakfast options for Anaheim not too far away from Disneyland. The portion sizes are quite large for the price and could easily give Denny’s a run for their money. Food was excellent tasting especially for being in the $10-15 price range though anything more expensive than that would be disappointing.

Food is great. Portions are a pretty good size. I got a chance to try the Chilaquiles and Huevos a la Mexicana. I didn't expect the variety of options. This is definitely a small hole in the wall type of place. I live nearby and bever knew it existed. Definitely recommend for any one thats looking for and authentic breakfast. You will leave full.

Just had the most delightful breakfast at Country Family Cafe! Don't let the simple exterior fool you, this place is bursting with charm. Ricardo, our server, went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience. I dare say it's the best value breakfast you can find in Orange County. This place is a must if you’re staying in Anaheim or going to Disneyland. The food and service were all above and beyond, 10/10 recommend!

We saw some reviews about this place having high wait times, so we called ahead to make sure there was seating available. When we arrived around 10AM, the place wasn’t very busy. Our server, Sophia, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and have a great experience here.

I ordered the spinach, mushroom, and cheese omelette and my partner ordered the chorizo and eggs. Immediately we saw that the portions are well worth the price (not that this place is expensive, but you’re definitely not getting tiny portions). My partner loves spicy food and Sophia brought him the habanero sauce. My partner said that his chorizo tasted fresh, like it was bought from a meat market, and that the habanero sauce tasted like it was made in house. We asked about the sauce and Sophia confirmed that it’s made in house and a family recipe. If you like spicy food, definitely ask for the habanero sauce!

Besides the food and service, the place seems well kept and clean. The people are friendly and our food was delicious and well worth our money. We’ll definitely be coming back here next time we’re in Anaheim!

We stopped here a few days ago for breakfast during our vacation to Disney. We spent 4 days in Anaheim, and I have to say this spot was the best food we ate during our entire trip. Between all four of us, we had bacon, sausage, eggs, French toast, and pancakes. Everything came out hot and fresh, and the coffee was amazing. The only small negative thing that happened was when we first arrived there wasn’t a table available and the waitress said it would be a 10 minute wait which was no big deal for us. They don’t have a waiting area so instead of standing in front of the door blocking the exit/entrance we stepped just outside the door (there’s windows all around so we could be seen standing outside the door from inside the restaurant). A few minutes passed and another party arrived and went inside the restaurant. I noticed they went in but didn’t come out to wait and they weren’t standing at the entrance. We came back in and saw that they were seated before us in the table we were waiting for to be cleared. We stood there at the register for another few minutes until another waiter noticed us and seated us. My suggestion would be to take names of parties and seat in the order they arrive like most restaurants do. When you choose to seat another party before one that has already been waiting, it can make a customer feel like they aren’t welcome in your establishment. I don’t know if it was intentional or not but it did have an affect on the experience. When we saw that they seated another party before us, my husband said we should just leave and find somewhere else to eat, but I didn’t want to try to find another place to drive to and possibly have more of a wait. The food was great so that made up for the initial impression. I would definitely come back if ever in the area.

There’s a reason this place has such great reviews! Wonderful hidden gem in Anaheim. If you live in the area or are just visiting for Disneyland, this is an excellent spot for Mexican/American breakfasts. My husband had country fried steak and a side of biscuit and gravy, and I had the menudo! I have had a lot of menudo in my life, and this is probably one of the best bowls of menudo I’ve ever had. Perfect balance of hominy and tripe and all the fixins of cilantro, onion, limon, oregano, pepper flakes, and corn tortillas (you get the option for flour or corn too, I bet the flour tortillas are so tasty!) The prices are reasonable, the staff is super charming, and you can just tell there’s a whole lot of love and care that goes into this establishment. Thank you for a delicious breakfast!

A long time friend of mine and I ate here for the first time the other day food was pretty decent via search Google for good biscuits and gravy is how we came to this location and there are waitress was amazing I cannot remember her name but I know she was the niece of the owner and she was awesome she offered great service beautiful beautiful personality and we really enjoyed chatting with her
My friend also collects coffee mugs from places that we visited or he's visited and she was very quick to assist in that

We were looking for a breakfast place around Disneyland and found this place. I will definitely be coming back when I am in the area. Great people working here.

As the name says, it's a place to go with your family. The food is excellent, very tasty. You have to try the french toast .... Mmmmm ... Yummyyyyy!!!! And the lumberjack is excellent!!!! Next time will try "menudo". Date: 12/30/2022, Time: Near 11:20 AM ---- The 2 waitresses were excellent too, the one who was with us she look alike Penelope Cruz but much beautiful and very very kind and ready to help if you need her. Excellent!!!!

They couldn't even make a grilled cheese sandwich after 3 attempts such a disappointment. Returned my food untouched and they offered to make it again. No refund on the money I spent.
