Panera Bread

Honestly can’t believe Panera is even still in business. If people believe they don’t get good value for their money at Chipotle anymore, they haven’t been to Panera in the past 4 years.
How they can get away with selling a rather small cup of soup and “half” sandwich (more like 3 bites) for $15 is beyond me.
Not sure why I have them another shot today, but once again I left hungry, disappointed, and thoroughly upset I just blew $15.

Haven't been in a really long time. I was intrigued by the pick 2 so I asked what it was. She let me know it's any two items on the menu. I picked a half salad and sandwich which I didn't realize was $9 each so a total of $20. The bottom of my sandwich bread was soggy but the rest of the food was good. You also get chips, bread or an apple as a side. I also put in my phone number and she let me know I had a reward for a free bakery item. Overall a good experience as I needed somewhere to eat and take a zoom call.

I come here often and try different things because this place is amazing! The manager David is always here uplifting the place and keeping the place nice and tidy, he actually recommended a few items in which I just fell in love with. This morning I stopped by and got breakfast and claimed my morning drink. Thanks guys for working so hard appreciate everything you’ve done & making my day smoother.

I'm a huge fan of Panera, and I enjoy the ambiance they have in their restaurants. This one is kinda bland tho. Doesn't feel like the Panera I'm used to. It's a bit more pricy probably cause it's close to the stadiums, but definitely a better choice compared to the Panera by Disneyland. The service at this one is much quicker and not as busy at all.

I placed an order for 18 bagels on Wednesday at 1pm for them to be picked up on Friday at 3pm.
On Friday at 3pm the bagels I ordered were not available. Unacceptable!
Why did I place an order if they don't pay attention?!?!

Not a good first time experience tbh!
I had to wait a long time compared to the other places to get my order.
Seems like they had enough staff to fulfill all the orders at a decent pace but they could not do it!
The overall taste was good! It would have been if they could have more options for vegetarians under their food menu!

The food was good and the service was nice. The only thing I highly recommend is for the bathrooms to be cleaned daily and more than once during the day/night. Sad to share this but there were feces on one of the women’s stall door handles that my mom saw and decided to not use the restroom. Also the men’s bathroom has feces next to the toilet paper on the wall. Please keep it clean.

The night shift seems like they are high and move slow as a sloth how long does it take to give me a bread bowl? Service is not how it used to be. Very rude worker and they just talk to their coworkers and don’t seem to work or get the order right. Do better and also why only a half a cup of soup why not fill it especially for the price

Update. Finally open inside. But service is slow. Seems understaffed frequently. Prices are expensive, $18 for two new fast bagels is a lot.

This place has had the inside closed since they opened about 4 months ago. It would be nice to sit on their patio.

I joined the free trial for their Sip Club, it's worth it if a Panera is anywhere close to your daily commute. If it has a drive thru, even better.

This Panera Homes a Homless woman all day and night , there should be a limitation on to which a diner can stay in the dining room. It makes it very uncomfortable everyday seeing the same filthy homeless woman in there All day and night till they close she uses the women's restroom as her shower roo. As well I've been in there with at the same time her smell is VERY STRONG and she leaves the toilet a mess , I've called to the manager about this and all she had to say what do u want me to do as long as she pays for her food .... there needs to be a time limitation on to what guest can stay so this is not her HOME !!! Very very uncomfortable

Great service, very kind cashier..my kid dropped his fruit cup by accident on 4/6 around 10:30am and he kind kind enough to offer a new one. Hope all employees on restaurants were like that. People would come back. Thank you 🙏🏼

They have terrible service. You ask for things they say they have it. And when you get to the window, they say they're out of it. Their website is horrible. I don't know how they're still in business. But this location is the worst ever always out. Out of everything they need to shut this location down, please.

Decent Panera. Didn't like the signs everywhere limiting time allowed in the store. I'm sure it's for a reason but that's what I like about Panera is the relaxed, sit awhile atmosphere at most locations.

Is this Panera in a questionable location? Cups are hiding behind the counter, so you have to wait twice to get one. Signs about loitering everywhere. Not sure why they have a 90 minute Wi-Fi sign when it is barely serviceable. I usually use my own device for internet.

Gone to this location multiple times since it opened and I've yet to have a good experience unfortunately. Long wait times, incorrect orders and felt sick after my most recent visit due to some questionable arugula. It's a bummer, but this Panera location has struggled to give good service since it opened and this illness is the final straw. There's another one on Harbor near Disneyland. Go to that one.

This store is located on State College and Katella walking distance from the Saddleback Church. This location is clean, fast service, and staff are friendly. It offers plenty of food options such as bagels, sandwiches, salad, and soup.

If you want to study or want to finish a project, this is the right place to go to. Definitely recommend the place.

Okay, some of this might be the location and as such a necessity. I am used to having the cups right by the fast order screens, nope, behind the counter. The green tea tasted a bit off, the lemonade was empty, and the plain tea was broken / behind the counter. Still love the Panera drink package. We had skipped the nearby one on harbor because parking looked possibly a nightmare due to the proximity to Disney.

3.5 stars. Thank you, Panera, for existing, and for offering an alternative to McDonald's at 6:30am. Thanks also for being affordable and mildly nutritious. You're a little pricey, but I wouldn't mind paying more for even better quality - it's not like WholeFoods is open that early.

This Panera Bread is the worst one I've been to. The lobby is a dirty mess, with food on the floor and dirty tables. Staff never greeted us, nor helped us order. We had to use a self-service machine. The food was mediocre at best. I definitely will not be coming back.

Though the food was good, the overall service not so much. The drive thru line took a long time just to order and there were only three cars in line. Then when I got to the window, the employee was not very friendly especially when asking a question while checking my order. Also when I finally opened the bag of chips, they looked like someone had stomped on them. I wont be returning to this establishment anytime soon.

We were staying at a nearby hotel during our Disneyland vacation and went here several times since we have the sip club. The coffee was horrible and even had grounds in my coffee cup. They would be out of coffee. When we wanted a cup of tea there was no hot water. The sodas were awful as well. The only good think was the lemonades. This place was not busy at all so they would have had time to refill the empty carafes. We ended up choosing to go to Starbucks during the last half of our vacation.

Can’t help but to feel bad for employees who have to deal with dumb customers taking their sweet time to freaking take an order . I waited over 30 minutes at drive thru only to find out the customer kept making everything complicated . I had to tip them employees. And who the heck gives 100 bills to them? They ain’t your bank. Stop trying to rob them fr y’all! Break down your bills pls! They don’t take 100s!

The service is terrible... Someone needs to re-train the staff at this location, they give you an attitude just for asking a simple question. The food is ok. It all depends on what day and hour you go... there is not consistency in the food some days it is delicious some others I should have eaten somewhere else.

Constantly making orders wrong or late. I like to use the order ahead feature but they regularly send the email/notification that the order is ready and then begin preparing it. Today I waited 20+ minutes for toasted bagels with about 5 people in-store/in-line. Couldn't recommend this Panera less.

I have to start off with saying I love Panera....well other locations!! This one absolutely sucks!! They never have bagels...yes even early in the morning. Waited in the drive-through for 15 minutes to find out. It's a shame since it's the only one in the area surrounded by nice apartments, hotels and businesses.

Food was good, service was timely. The only issue I had with this location specifically is that they allow homeless people to sleep in their establishment.
I specifically asked for the manager and was told that she would take care of the situation immediately. I waited 20 minutes and nothing happened. The lady who was taking our order was very amicable and had great customer service skills.

This is a failure on management and I hope she gets a performance review reflecting her poor leadership.

The workers are extremely rude at this location. I am part of the rewards member program and every time I have stopped at this location I’ve been met with a rude attitude. Today the lady who took my order too long to simply hand me the cup and then continuously questioned me about the drink I ordered. She had a nasty attitude throughout our entire interaction.

Stopped by for lunch, having some soup and pastry. The main person or one of them handling the kitchen counter, a plus build lady with eye glasses had a grouchy face, never smiled and greeted. Looked like asking her more questions or needing more condiments would only invite side eyes and agitate her further. Likely she had a long day or worse a long night, still carried in her. Or the hustles and bustles of the holiday season hadn't served her well. More often than not, also hard to find napkins here, not sure it's their way to fend off patrons due to short of hands and no need for more business, or their way of playing tic tac with the homeless. For crying out loud, it's a nice neighborhood surrounded by shiny condos and commercial properties. that's petty and cheap, understandably topping it off with disgruntled employees!

I typically avoid this location since they always seem to be out of an ingredient and their app doesn't usually reflect this. They either will substitute without asking or will just not include the missing item without saying anything. They also seem to lock the doors about 40 minutes prior to their advertised closing time.

I am big fan of paneera bread I have every day breakfast & mostly luch also form paneera . It's good & healthy but this place servies is so bad form the tato girl this morning 11 am server her Name is Samantha or something owww waht a bad behavior she used bad word for the costumer that's to bad . form today I am never ever come back this store & I dont recommend either my friends & family's for that bad server behavior. This is to much server needs to smile & need to good behavior with customer. Totally opposite.

Clean Quiet Fresh Yummy and Convenient

We were staying at the Marriott on the block but decided to skip their free breakfast and walk here instead. We were glad we did.

It wasn't busy at all - almost had the place to ourselves. Generally can't go wrong with Panera Bread food, so we enjoyed a delicious breakfast and scone before walking back to the hotel. Conveniently across the street from Anaheim stadium if you needed a quick bite to eat before going there to catch a ball game.

No one was by the cash register, so I used the order pad and after waiting more than 15 minutes and watching everyone else who came after me receive their order - I flagged down a worker to ask when my coffee drink will be coming out. It appears sometimes the drink orders are not received - so they had no idea I ordered a drink and paid a tip.

Lesson - don't use their pads to order!!!

I’m saddened to give this place such a low score because the food can be so good. Something needs to be done at this location though because we’ve had to wait for our food, no exaggeration, for over an hour on 3 different occasions (weeks a part). There’s rarely an apology and there’s no notice that the wait is going to be astronomically long. Since they first opened, my order has been wrong on at least 4 occasions. I will certainly recommend this Panera Bread once they have things sorted out. I know right now people are short staffed - but there’s got to be something done at this establishment. Typically what this location does to show something is majorly wrong is by putting out cones at the drive thru to close it, which I’ve seen at 1:00 pm before and then it took over an hour to get the food. I should have known better.

Everytime I try to order food here they seem to be out of stock of most of their menu items. Might as well go to another Panera bread that is fully stocked. Plus they have this weirdly placed railing that forces people to need to walk around and into the drive thru lane to get inside the building, rather then, you know, walking straight from the parking lot like a normal designed restaurant.

If I could give a zero star review I would! Never have I seen a fast food restaurant give no attention to guest inside thier dinning area! Bakery items were not even offered after placing order. Waited 30 minutes while on a work break and asked for a refund. No time to stop for food on the way back either. Manager on Duty didn't even process the refund properly and had to pay me out of the cash drawer! Please stay away from this location unless you have hours to wait for mediocre food at best!

Came in hoping for a bread bowl w/soup but there were no bread bowls. Thought I'd just have a bowl of soup w/a baguette but ... no baguettes. Plenty of parking (I believe most people drive-thru), inside there were hardly any patrons but the dining room looked unkept and the trash area was piled high. This place hasn't been open that long to look/be in such sad shape. Disappointing.

I go to this Panera pretty often so my review is not based on a one time visit. Let me start off by saying that this staff is full of people that clearly don’t care about their job & it’s probably the reason this Panera has the worst service. I can be standing at the register for 10 min before anyone acknowledges my existence or takes my order. The drive-thru is a ridiculous wait… about 15-20 min with 2 cars ahead of me. And not only has the iced tea machine not been functioning properly for over a month now but their tea tastes rotten, old, and expired for the last 2 weeks. It’s absolutely disgusting and clear that the staff don’t bother changing it or making a fresh batch. I’ve always loved Panera but from the few in Orange County this is definitely the worst one. I hope a new manager can come on board and address these horrible customer concerns and reviews because it seems no one cares there.

I usually like Panera Bread's food and have tried different locations.
I ordered soup and sandwich and food wasn't hot. If food was microwaved then it wasn't timed well. We ordered dine-in so at least we are expecting our food to be great and it wasn't busy when we came.
Customer service wasn't great too.
Will I still go to Panera Bread in the future? Yes but not this location

This Panera is consistently slow with orders in the drive-thru. I have frequented many Paneras, and there is no excuse for the amount of time one will spend waiting here. With 2 cars in front of you, you will be waiting approximately 10-15 minutes per car and there is no way to leave the line. I have waited for 40 minutes once. The last time, we ordered Mac and Cheese, were told it was out, and then we were stuck behind 2 cars for 30 minutes just so we could leave without ordering. Panera needs to look into the issue at this location.

Placed a huge order today at 12pm, the app said the order was too large to be picked up asap so they scheduled it for 1:30pm. Totally understandable, I ordered $130 worth of food. To ensure my order was received, I tried calling the store 6-7 times but no one picked up. While trying to multitask at work, I figured they were swamped and felt reassured because the app showed my order as confirmed. However the problem arose when I arrived at Panera to pick up the order at 1:30pm. No one could even locate my order and finally the head employee found it on a printed sheet of paper in back. She told me the system was down all morning so they hadn’t started my order yet. I asked how long she said 30 minutes but others were ahead of me…. I understand others are ordering but that’s not something you tell a customer who ordered at 12pm. Order was actually ready pretty fast, she was 100% correct it took 30 minutes. Went out to the car and wanted to double check the food to make sure everything was there. I was missing 2 sandwiches and a salad. This is what really made me upset. To have a system down. Fine. To make me wait 30 minutes to correct a mistake. Fine. But to hand me an incomplete order after I paid $130 for it is just not ok. Next time I need to place an office order I’ll try the other locations. Maybe they’ll answer the phone so I can avoid this in the future.

Do not go there for lunch they take such a long time to serve you that you don't even have time to eat your lunch. Also, they often don't have many of the items on the menu available

I've been always coming to this place 3 times a week. Never had a complain employees are friendly today is the first time the manager approach me his name is Adrian. What a disrespectful individual for managers like him is that great companies like Panera lose great customer...

Your typical Panera. Food is overpriced but fresh. Portions are small but probably better for you anyway. I love their Turkey BLT. Cheddar broccoli soup or French onion soup is another go to. The chocolate chip muffie is bomb but this location seems to sell out before two.

Just ordered through drive through. Really craving the napa almond chicken salad and instead of a sandwich we were given a cup of the thai soup, which was not even good (Would rather have any other soup) Not only that, my second pick2 item was the asian salad which had a hair in it. Seriously disappointed.
