Ive loved funnel cake since I was a kid. Usually the best place to get them is at the fair because they usually cook them to order. Thats not quite the case at The Stage Door Cafe. Seems like they may make them just a bit ahead to keep up with orders. While I can understand the need to keep the lines moving, just a bit underwhelming for the price of $9.49 plus tax. The actual funnel cake is not overly sweet, but quite soggy except for the outer edges. I have had them with and without the toppings so unfortunately its the same no matter. Its also luke warm which is how youll know they arent made fresh.

My daughter got chicken strips, they were fine. I had a chicken Caesar wrap, worst chicken Caesar wrap I ve ever had. It was 90% lettuce, I pulled most of it off and could have made a good sized salad with the mass quantity. There was very little chicken in it, more beans than chicken definitely.

Slow, the girls are rude, nobody cares about customer service or communicating with people. Saw one girl spend 15 minutes trying to communicate with a man who didn t speak English and she struggled big time and didn t care to try a different way in order to make the situation better. Ordered everything on the app while 3rd place in line and it was ready before we got to the counter. Jumped to the mobile pickup line before it was ready though and the girls kept telling us we re a safety hazard and to go outside when it was 3 bottled beverages and that s all we ordered and they were gonna take their sweet time getting us 3 bottles drinks from the fridge.

cast member who took my order was rude and the food was terrible. Dont get the chicken tenders and fries! The chicken felt like it was rubber and the fries... (Mcdonalds probably has better fries) So Miss Attitude at Stage Door calm down and Disney perhaps learn to stop having food sit in that heat lamp when business is slow.

Interesting reviews. I ve been eating these corndogs for as long as I can remember and I ve never had one that wasn t fresh. They ve been consistently hot, tasty, and with the perfect amount of batter. What s disappointing though, is when they serve breakfast until 10 o clock and they run out of breakfast chimichangas by 9 AM. Stage Door Cafe is the only place you can get the breakfast chimichanga. Unfortunately, we were starving and reluctantly ordered the regular chimichanga (beef and bean). There are definitely pros and cons to mobile ordering. You really have to plan WAY in advance when you think you re going to be hungry. Don t mobile order when you re haaaangry.

Corndogs are too salty, needs about 30% less salt and they should add maple syrup to the batter. Oil needs to be a more stable temperature, was greasier than it should be normally for corndogs. But service was good.

Corn dog, and chicken fried steak sandwich were good enough. French fries were small and not very crisp. Same as the Fish and Chips. Not much flavor and not crispy at all. Very disappointed. For the cost of food here, it could have been much better, tastier. Small servings and not a lot of options. When you are going all day at a park like Disney Land, you are spending tons of money already. It would be nice to be fed well. Not having kids still hungry. Over priced and not the best food.

Review №108

Skip it! With a drink and meal it s $15 per person and mediocre food at best. Fries taste exactly like Jollibee but way more expensive. I felt a bit ripped off after eating here but was too tired to walk back to galactic grill. Go eat outside of park or pay slightly more for a sit down restaurant like plaza inn. It costs more but you feel less ripped off and eat better food. My food was also warm but didn t seem super fresh even though they were super busy. Chicken strips were bland and fries were low quality, not half as good as McDonald s.

They share a kitchen and menu with the Golden Horseshoe, but the lines here are almost always drastically shorter. So if you are in the Golden Horseshoe, step out and around to get your food here and avoid the long lines inside. Simple fare, fish and chips, chicken strips, etc. Nothing fancy. Good quality, a little pricey, but thats Disneyland.
