El Super

Large Hispanic supermarket. Large selection of fruits and vegetables at good prices. Cakes and Mexican breads looked good. The meat counter and some packaged meats not pleasing visually. I was able to find Foster Farms breasts bone in chicken at a good price. The single line was long and slow. The checker was friendly. The security guard looked very protective. Lots of parking.

Great prices, good selection, you get more for your money here. Some fruit & veggie bins had banged up produce, but it was definitely due to the Customers. We're new to the area, this is the 1st time since I moved to Cali that I feel I got my money's worth. El Super has a new Customer, I will return again.

My first and list time coming too this Super. The line’s were so long that it would go around the bakery with only 4 lines open. The employees would just walk around and wouldn’t take the time to let someone in charge that the lines were long that people started to leave their carts full in the middle of the lines. 25mins in line. Never have this problem at Food4Less or Starters brothers..

Just classic bad additive workers show they don’t want to work there. This grocery store uniquely charges for plastic bags and tosses them onto your groceries; they don't assist in bagging, even when the cashier is idle. Additionally, there's a noticeable odor throughout the store, possibly due to using the same mop for the floor that's used in the meat deli section, which may affect hygiene concerns. but they have Mexican sweet bread :) other then that, I don’t recommend this store to my family and friends.

The stars are for the best pan dulce. Better than Superior, Northgate or my local small bakeries/panadería. I've taken some to work and my coworkers agreed. I don't know if it's only this good at this location but stop by if you are in the area.

This store is a joke.
The guacamole and salsas are TERRIBLE, I have to throw them away.
Sometimes the fruit and vegetables are bad as soon as I get home, I think that is something with the temperature of the warehouse.
The groceries are so expensive.
I am disappointed in this store please don't call it a “Mexican store”.
One of your employees once told me that he would never buy anything in this store. I'll NEVER COME BACK.
Please shoppers don't believe that this store is Mexican is better to say it is an aberration.

Good deals on groceries. The place has so many items that it looks very crowded. They do cake services, too. They have a deli sections and the carne ranchera here is very good

I was a frequent customer of this Super Mercado until I was pushed aside by the security guard (Javier) and he stood in front of my path aggressively blocking my passage to the Super Market. He demanded that I leave my bag of books and medicines and put it on the floor, even at the same time other people entered with honeycombs and wheeled carousels. I do not put my bag in El Piso or in my own home, because if you feel like harassing me, I should do it in this era of Pandemic and put it in A public place and in El Piso. The Guard called a manager of that establishment and I asked her to call him, I told her what was happening and she told me If you want to go in, I should leave you on the floor I asked her for El Paso to even use the toilet, she told me I deny it. I am a person with medical disabilities, and that is against the law and very humiliating. The law is called ADA law. Below I added a screen shot of the law.

I have bought expired items here at different times. This last time I went (on Jan 26,2024) the first package I was going to grab on the shelf was EXPIRED!! I had the chance to take a picture this time. When I handed the expired item to the cashier she didnt seem surprised and had no comment on it. This is not okay, people are being charged for expired items and could get sick if they dont check the expiration date!!!

El Super is a must stop for their panadería and carneceria with a great selection of fresh and cheap vegetables. Most of their processed foods are on the pricier side so I would stick to the house made products. They also seem to have a low check out process with often really long lines

Please have more cash registers open at the Anaheim store. Every time I go to the store, only 2 or 3 are open out of the 15 you have. You have loyal customers and dont deserve this kind of service

The lines to pay are very long and in the butcher shop worse there is never enough, the staff waits too long to get the meat and the cashiers are always mean with faces of few friends everything bothers them I wonder what they are doing there working in customer service how ugly The truth is, and its your own people, the saddest case is always, one is because they are Latin supermarkets and the prices are reasonable with excellent products but something always ruins it in this case the staff, terrible service.

Been coming here for years but today Cashier CELIA was extremely rude and aggressive and hit my child with shopping cart and made him cry. Then proceeded to tell me to watch my kid . When asked to speak to management to file a complaint they keep saying Nelson was in a meeting . I ve called multiple times and ERIKA continues to state he will be free in 30 mins . When calling at the time indicating my calls would be picked up and dropped without any communication.This place has great prices and is close to my home but after this I will only be giving my business to Smart and final right next to them
