Food is just ok, nothing spectacular. A little too much sauce and not enough pasta. The veal wasn't seasoned too well and there was too much cheese and sauce on top, you couldn't even taste the veal. The chicken Marsala was a little better but still pretty bland The minestrone soup had almost raw vegetables, tasted like it hadn't been cooked long enough.
Took a few minutes to even get the menus after we were seated. Feels old and dark inside.
I honestly would say the food is better at Olive Garden. And much bigger portions for a better price.
Overall the food is just ok, portions are pretty small, and overpriced.

We were worried when we turned into a strip mall and saw the restaurant, but once inside the ambience was pleasant. We sat outside and completely forgot we were at a strip mall! Indoors it was what you'd expect for a local family restaurant. The food was much better than you'd expect for a local family restaurant!

The atmosphere is very nice and the staff was extremely friendly. Service was great. All of the food was good but not fresh in Italy great. Definitely worth a trip. Serving size was a little small on the ravioli. Overall it's priced pretty fairly for what you receive.

I would give the food 3.5 stars but due to the long wait for good, I'm removing 1 star. We were seated at 7pm. By 8pm, our entree still have not arrived. This is after the server told us our food is coming up 15 minutes ago. We ordered the garlic bread. It was just okay. The lobster bisque was a major disappointment! Instead if lobster chunks, they put sausage chunks in it. The lobster risotto was good! The crepes was just so-so in my opinion. I would say the only the desserts were at par. Overall, it's a decent and cozy place but I wouldn't visit again if I don't already have a reservation.

Food and service was perfect! Came to celebrate a birthday and the server made our night attending such a large party. The atmosphere is family friendly and cozy. It’s definitely a great date night place. I had the lobster ravioli in pink sauce and also had a bite of the lasagna both were delicious!

OMG... where have you been all my life, Baci??? This was our first time here in this beautiful, friendly, family owned restaurant tonight with our dear friends and neighbors. We love the food 😋!!!! The food here is delicious!!! I highly recommend this wonderful, warm restaurant whenever you want home-made Italian food, but don't want to cook or know how to. We will become regulars here for sure ❤️!!!

Excellent food and service. The owner/manager stopped to make certain every detail is taken care of. The sauces are perfect. And the restaurant is CLEAN and fresh. We will return whenever in the area. Looks small from outside, but this is big on taste. NOT fast food.

Absolutely loved Baci! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff are super nice, and the food is beyond incredible!! The pasta and soups were spot-on, and the desserts were amazing. Highly recommend!

This little restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The food was fantastic. I had the gnocchi and she had the lobster risotto. Both were superb. The staff was friendly and attentive. What a pleasant surprise in Anaheim Hills. A genuine Italian restaurant with authentic Italian charm and offerings. Although I have dined in nearby so called Italian restaurants in adjacent cities, Baci di Firenze Trattoria on Lakeview is a true Florence Italy style dining experience. The menu offerings are broad. The most difficult challenge of the experience ... what to select to eat. The fresh Italian garlic bread set the right flavor tone for the dining experience along with a nice wine selection. My Swordfish with roasted vegetables and red potatoes was prepared perfectly. My wife's Scampi Baci (Jumbo Shrimp on Angel Hair Pasta) was equally excellent. Save room for desert. The Strawberry Sorbet and Apple Strudel topped off the dining experience.

Our food took over 45 minutes to be served and they were not that busy. The food came warm, we were so hungry that we did not think on sending it back. The food was alright, but being lukewarm took away from the taste. . Service was not up to the expectations at all. We will not be coming back.

Came across this spectacular restaurant when searching for food nearby while in town. The food was amazingly tasty. The Pollo Piccata was out of this world, The Linguini Carolina was "chef's kiss 💋", and the BREAD!!!! My husband was going to dump me for the person who made the bread! 100% recommend!

Had high hopes for this place but disappointed. I had the risotto with mushrooms and really it was all mushrooms and hardly any rice. My friend had a pasta dish with chicken which she said was good. The garlic bread was really greasy and tasted like it was frozen. The gelato was just okay.
The service was great though, very attentive.

I think a 5 star review is something not to be given out lightly. However tonight I was truly awash in an amazing dining experience. Beginning with the diamond in the rough feeling you get as you enter the beautiful establishment nestled in a rather unassuming strip mall. You are instantly hit with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that speaks to the weary, after hours of Southern California’s traffic and entertainment.

After this the truly phenomenal service makes itself known. They want you to treat you like a guest in a home and they are quick to do so. They will dote on you and ensure everything is just perfect for you and your party. They even offered my group to take our photo for us. Frequent refills of water and check ins that make you feel truly taken care of.

Finally the food. Authentic and real flavor which absolutely pleases the palets. They have perfect portions and ensure you have everything to your taste. They openly state on their menu they will change dishes and accommodate you as you wish. They are very understanding of even the most tricky of diets. Something to be appreciated by everyone from the picky to the food lovers.

I don’t find many truly enjoyable places to enjoy in Southern California often, however this will be a staple in my groups restaurant choices for a long time to come.

You would never expect such an incredible dining experience in a strip mall next to a gas station. The food was AMAZING!! Service was terrific. We didn't wait more than 10 minutes from the time we place our order to it placed on our table. What a great experience. I highly recommend. They allow changes and to what is on the menu so you get exactly what you are craving.

We’re always looking for great Italian food, this place is a winner! The food quality and flavors along with amazing service is why I’m giving Baci Di Fiernze a 5/5!! The food was so delicious, I had the Pasta Carolina and we tried the calamari putanesca and my husband had the special and we were so pleased! The itslin wine selection is wonderful too. The atmosphere was quaint and cozy. There were regulars coming in frequently to pick up their food and were treated like family. Gianfranco and Cinzia were so welcoming and very passionate about explaining the flavors and dishes. We were not rushed at all. We will come back for sure. Keep up the great work. Grazie Mille.

It's definitely a cute place. Like a little diamond in the rough really. I thought the food was decent. I got the Chilean sea bass.

Anyway, the service was good. I think for the price I paid, I would have liked the food to taste a bit better. I will definitely try them marsala next time, my wife loved it.

We just got back from dining here for our first anniversary, and it was absolutely wonderful. My wife had the lobster risotto that was out of this world. I had a spinach pappardelle with shrimp and scallops which was also excellent. But to top it off we had their tiramisu. I've had tiramisu at a lot of different restaurants, but this is my new favorite. We had such a good time that we were honestly a little sad to leave. But we'll be back.

The pasta is delicious we tried spaghetti and angel hair. We recommend this paste for kids, my 5 year niece loves it. The staff is super friendly and nice 😊 don't forget gelato it so good 😊.

This is a seriously Italian restaurant run by Italians. The food was FABULOUS. I had scallops and shrimp. The scallops were melt in your mouth tender, and they nailed the spiciness just right. They cook everything fresh to order, and they make the pastas on site, and the dishes can have any kind of substitution you desire (within reason, of course). The staff treats you like family and is glad you came.

One of, if not the, best Italian restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of dining at. It is a small, privately owned trattoria whose location belies what you find inside. Owner is the host and made us feel like valued customers. Superb service from the start of a wonderful Caesar salad with the “right” dressing and house croutons through our delicious pistachio gelato and tiramisu that was perfection. I didn’t see a pesto pasta on the menu and our server immediately offered to have a special dish made to order for me to my specs including adding mushrooms. It was the best - truly best - creamy herby garlicky sauce. My companion had fettuccine Alfredo and raved about his dinner too. We topped the evening off with two glasses of Moscado for a delightful way to end a most satisfying dinner.

Food was fantastic! Chicken Marsala was incredible and the accompanying pasta was fresh. Garlic bread was excellent. Some at our table thought it was the best version of their dish that they've ever had. My only minor complaint is that I'd prefer that the gratuity (it was between 15 and 20%) not be automatically included, as if you didn't notice that, you might enter a similar amount in the tip area.

Another great meal at Baci! The restaurant was started and still owned by Italians. Speak Italian if you dare! The food is delicious and true Italian. The wine list is also incredible and full of nice Italian wine. Service is perfect too! Don't be worried that the restaurant is in a strip mall. Come and have a great meal!

It was an extremely disappointing lunch that I had. When I walked in at around 1pm it was dark and looked empty. I ordered Eggplant Parmigiana and waited for at least 20 minutes. Finally, the food came. It was 3 small slices of Eggplant and a tiny serving of pasta. The food was not even hot! It was super salty! I was shocked that $18.99 for this tiny serving of food. This is by far the worst Italian food that I have ever had. I would never come back again!

We came here while on vacation from Jersey to visit a family member who lives in the area. We sat outside on the porch area and it was beautiful what a nice night. All of our food was excellent they modified every single one of our dishes to our request and everything was super fresh wjth quality ingredients. We’re south Philly Italians where we have the Italian market in our back yard and some of the best restaurants in the east coast and we’ve been struggling to eat while here out west. Not here they made us feel right at home. I can’t say enough about how incredible the owner is he was very tentative and unbelievably hospitable. Pure gentlemen. Even gave us some complimentary drinks on the house and joined some conversation about the struggles of being business owners. Can’t give this place enough stars we 100% will be back again next time we are in the area and our family member said she’s found her new favorite place ! Definitely worth a visit it’s real home made old school fine Italian cooking done right. No gimmicks no games just good food and a great atmosphere.

I am not the reviewing type but this is one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. My wife and I were on a trip to California for our anniversary and loved it so much we came back a 2nd time during our trip. Amazing food, great service. We got to hang with Vittorio and his staff since we came in towards the end of the night and they helped us celebrate our anniversary and made us feel like family. Definitely will be back next time we're in California. Vittorio if you're reading this we can't thank you enough for the great time we had!

First of all, decent selection of wine, but nothing too extravagant. And the fried calamari was outstanding, along with a good sized portion. They can split plates, have a corkage fee to BYOB, and overall gave the vibe of authenticity

Arrived around 6 & were the first to be seated in the patio, ambiance is nice but the food took almost a hour to arrive so we sat there and watched one party after another get served while we waited for our simple meals. We had a 7:30 appointment and watched as another upset table closed their bill as their food was finally coming out. I felt bad about having to do the same but I really didn’t expect an hour long wait for lasagna, pasta and chicken and when the food arrived it was just that a “simple meal” definitely not worth the price in my opinion. I frequent everything from chipotle to Michelin rated restaurants so I don’t really have a bias. For the money I’d go somewhere else & before Vittorio (Apparently the GM?) replies with the generic regurgitated reply just know that a sincere apology would have gone further than a cup of gelato. By the way we missed our appointment.

I grew up on the east coast (Philadelphia area) and have been trying to find a good Italian restaurant since I moved to California about a decade ago. Finally found one. Staff is always smiling, joking, and friendly. Service is amazing. The food the best Italian I've had anywhere between San Diego and Los Angeles. It is small but its size adds to the atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

The food is delicious! But the price of the food and portions you get do not match. Prices are really high, the service was ok and the portions were small. I recommend Maggiano's Little Italy in Costa Mesa. Same prices but larger portions and superb service.

A lovely meal, lovely evening. We were a large group of 12 people. This was an office outing. We had been at Anaheim Convention Center all day. The service staff is very efficient, attentive, and friendly. Appetizers were delicious. I ordered "Insalata Vittorio" which was described as "Organic mixed greens with fresh berries, pecans, dried cranberries, crumbled blue cheese and raspberry dressing". Added chicken. I received all spinach with stems (no other greens). Large amount of whole pecans, no bleu cheese, no cranberries, three blueberries, one strawberry slice. I know it's difficult with a large group, but we waited perhaps 40 minutes after apps for the food to be served, and it was not delivered all at once. 2-4 minutes in between, placing two dishes or so at a time. But overall very nice. We'll be back!

Three years ago boyfriend and I had our first date here and it was great. Last night we came back and the food tasted even better! (Maybe I was too distracted to notice the food last time, but I really think they have improved their menu and service over the years) Highly recommend the Linguine Sarno. I felt authentic (as if I was in Italy)may be because of the ambience and the crowd on the day I dined-in. Kudos to crowd! Sometime we need embrace people around us. I felt here. Wine is just flavorful. I am not wine lover but I loved the taste. Rest menu was simple something similar to any Italian restaurant. But quantity is just enough. Bruschetta romana appetizer and entrees egg parmigiana was something which I ordered and it was good. Also the ice cream desert was good not to sweet and it was light too. Service is good too. Reservations during happening days especially for two people is something they don’t do. But if it’s four and more than four then your good to reserve I guess. Too much Crowd on Valentine’s Day so I could not get table so give them call to reserve your table.

Always excellent dishes. Food is prepared fresh daily, a good section of fresh pasta. Dishes are right portion size similar to Italy.
We had fresh pappardelle with white sauce and seafood. As starter Burrata. Great flavor.

My boyfriend and I travel up to an hour just so we can keep coming back to this place. The atmosphere is SO amazing. Customer service is top notch, manager and staff are the sweetest and take the time to remember you if you become a regular. Hands down the best italian food I have ever had. Chicken parm is my favorite, and the tiramisu CANNOT be beat!

Edit: I've gone about 5 or 6 more times since this post and still the best ever. Today I ate so much that I ripped my pants. Food is that good. Well worth it!!

If you compare the cioppino from Reunion Kitchen and, yours its not even close in portion amount, Their cioppino has jumbo shrimp and, everything else in it. The disappointment was I could have gone their and, had a great meal but instead mistakenly gave your overpriced and, poor quality establishment. The general manager only seams to make excuses and, not do anything to resolve the issues clearly are everywhere on yelp and, here...

Go to the Reunion Kitchen or, Olive Garden you will save and, get better quality of food. This is the fact!!! I wish I would have taken a picture of the food I was served. The Shrimp were the same size as the ones you would find in a cup noodles soup..

Ordered a Cioppino, what a let down... All soup with minimal seafood and, the seafood that was in it was of poor in quantity/quality. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place, over-priced for what you get...

I had take out food cioppino and calamari. Cioppino there was hardly any seafood instead lots of noodles.
Calamari was mixed with small shrimps.
Had to wait longer than pick up time.
Horrible.

Came to lunch with a friend. Was looking forward to a wonderful meal but it was the worse food I’ve had. I ordered chicken parmigiana. The chicken was rubbery, there was a melted slice of cheese still in the shape of a square. Food had no flavor and the pasta portion was the size of palm of my hand. The food unnecessarily over priced. First and last time for me.

Had reservations here but left because the bald Italian guy, who seemed like was the manager had a bad attitude and was rude to people in my party. It didn't help either that restaurant was so cramped and had an all around uncomfortable atmosphere

The service by our waiter Franco, was outstanding, as he was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The food was excellent, in just the right proportions, with great flavor. The seafood dish my girlfriend ordered, and my pasta with mushrooms and sausage were packed with flavor, and the portions were just right. The Grandmother's cake for dessert, is highly recommended.

Lasagna was delicious in it's own right. I enjoyed the spinach noodles, it added a layer of depth the the dish. They kind of made it their own. I respect that. Would definitely love to come back here #bookmarked

Excellent food and service. The owner/manager stopped to make certain every detail is taken care of. The sauces are perfect. And the restaurant is CLEAN and fresh. We will return whenever in the area. Looks small from outside, but this is big on taste. NOT fast food.

I have been coming to Baci’s for a few years now, and it is always a treat. We get spoiled with excellent service from the minute we walk in until the last bite! The restaurant is impeccable. The flavor of the food is exactly what you’d wish it was for an Italian restaurant. I love to order a salad which is no longer on the menu and the staff graciously makes it for me every time. The scampi, the filet mignon, and the stuffed chicken are all my favorites. And the wine list is remarkable! Baci’s could be romantic and a party atmosphere but whatever you go for, they always make you feel like Family♥️

I used tobwork around this area for about 10 years and never came here, not sure why since it's a great gem.

Service - The staff here is amazing very nice, on point, explain everything, and always make sure you have everything.

Food - Great authentic tasting food with natural and fresh flavors. The portions are perfect to fill you up.

Prices - Reasonable going rates for entrees and wine.

Location - Right off Lakeview exit on the 91fwy in the plaza with other restaurants and gas station.

Parking - Plenty of parking in the complex.

Venue - Its a bit small but a decent size, intimate and cozy.

Overall great place and recommended it for sure.

I had given up on finding a good Italian dining experience. For the longest time I wanted to have an experience like you read in books where the character has a meal in Italy that makes your soul smile. Yet Everytime I would go to a highly rated Italian restaurant that looks good online, I would taste that first forkful and feel so letdown that I would feel myself sinking my seat. Today that changed. The food here tastes like it was actually made here and not poured out of a can or bottle. I've never been to Italy but this tastes different than all the other Italian restaurants I've tried. This meal feels like an experience your favorite author would write about. I can't wait to come back here again. 👌

Been here twice, and the service is exceptional. Friendly, and enjoyable. Foods is out of this world. Wine excellent. Price a little high $$$ but worth it. Will continue to go to this family owned authentic restaurant
