This is a review of the restaurant shady pricing. The restaurant didn’t mention any where on their website that lunch price is $30.99/ person and $15.99/child for New Year’s Day . If you’re going to change the price you need to make clear on your website. This is especially important for large group of people, the price difference will make a big difference.

Buffet concept is good. I really like lamb shank. Lot of good food to taste at a time is difficult. Quality of food was good. Salads were good, pitas were super fresh. But desserts were no good, it better they have warm baklavas just a suggestion. More to go. I always love to support our local stores.

Went there on a Monday for the lunch buffet. Food was decent but service was horrible. Had to seat ourselves and the bussers will clear your plates as you are eating. My brother got a call from his pregnant wife and took care of my portion of the check but because the bill had been settled, the lady kicked me out without letting me finish my meal. When she kicked me out, the restaurant had one other table. Will not be going back.

Very nice food served self service cafeteria style which I personally like but fully understand why many have reservations about. We were lucky the line was short when we arrived but soon afterwards you had to stand a good 5-10 minutes to reach the end of the line. Good value for the money. Their top secret is their lamb shanks which are totally scrumptious but they’re not displayed instead you have to order them separately. I’d do it again especially if I have a big party. Hey Dimassi gang if you’re reading this review please add a Qouzi (stuffed lamb) to your menu. It will be the highlight of the show trust me on that..

Newly opened, AYCE Mediterranean buffet restaurant located in a weepy plaza on the corner of Imperial Hwy x La Palma Ave. They are on the far edge of the plaza, closest to Imperial. Ample parking is available via the shared plaza parking lot.

The restaurant is quite spacious and offers lots of seating with modern, contemporary decor. The buffet offers an assortment of Mediterranean dishes including different types of salads, hummus, rice, meats, and desserts. They have a 2 hr dining limit.

Would've liked more variety in flavors and types of food. I also found all of their desserts to be bland.

Overall, OK but a little underwhelming. I'm not sure I'd return for the price.

Food was awesome. The place was clean.
But the lady working the front desk on dec 4th at 310-330 pm is bad for business. I had to run to work, so i paid while the family stayed behind - my wife calls me after and says the front desk lady kicked them out...
She told her, you have to leave once u pay. Why does it matter when we pay or if they stayed back a few minutes?

Unexpected and disappointing, as i am used to excellent service at the cerritos branch. First time visiting this branch and likely the last.

I was so suprised to see that they opened another locations in Anaheim Hills! I was so happy because I'm more around this area versus their Cerritos location. This location was definitely so much cleaner and nicer, lovely chandeliers and very spacious. It was a very nice place to eat because the other location seemed very crowded and busy and noisy. They have most of the same things. I don't know specifically what the differences are since I've only been to the other location once. They had lasagna here which was surprising and it was actually really yummy. I would eat here again for sure and am planning on it. Just wish I can go during the week since it's a lot cheaper.

The girl that usually works the front desk was very rude to my family, we came on Friday and it was not the busy. She has very rude customer service, and was not polite. When we walked in she was just sitting on one of the tables staring at her phone. She got up after we called her, we asked her questions about the food and thats when she became rude, she did not care to answer any questions we had and was rushing us to go sit at a table. Once we started to get our food she went back to the table and returned to her phone. Terrible service. The food was very cold. The only good service was the man that comes and cleans the table. The front desk girl needs to be fired.

I’ve eaten lunch there twice with a picky friend. We both thoroughly enjoyed it. We got there at 11:00 so the food was very fresh and not picked over. The atmosphere is very light and airy. I’m not sure what service people are complaining about because it’s a buffet but there were workers constantly removing old plates. The variety of food is super unless you’re hoping for a lot of meat. There is one fish offered and a couple of chicken dishes and shaved lamb. Desserts are very good. We’ll be back.

Review №73

We watched a video about this place before visiting, and it was really well done, so maybe our expectations were set a bit high. The atmosphere was different from what we expected, feeling more like a Turkish bath than a restaurant. The staff was very friendly, but they seemed overwhelmed, which made it hard for them to keep up. Unfortunately, some of the vegetables weren’t as fresh as they could have been, and the baklava didn’t quite live up to what we hoped for. At $30 per person, we expected the food quality to be a bit higher. We often visit Asian buffets that offer more variety and freshness at a lower price point. While we’re not trying to directly compare, as the cuisine is different, there’s definitely room for improvement here.

We just had lunch here with the family, for 30 dollars a person you would expect better service. Issue 1, when we arrived the front door was wide open with no fly fan. When we closed it, we were rudely told by the cashier that she was hot and wanted fresh air. No you are letting flies in which is a health code violation. Issue 2, you have no one checking the buffet line, on numerous occasions we had to flag people down to replenish the food. Issue 3, it's a buffet where you serve yourself and gets your on drinks why are you asking for tips when paying. Save your money and go to the location in Cerritos.

Very good atmosphere and spacious. They constantly cleaning tables. The food was so, so, not seasoned well. The green salad selection was good. The lamb meat seemed mostly fat and there were only two lamb dishes. Three chicken dishes were drumsticks and thighs and one chicken breast dish that were cut into small pieces. Sea food dishes are tilapia, fried and seemed steamed. Shrimp fried rice, not much shrimp in it.

Not worth it for expensive price. Not good quality selection of food.

I recently visited the new Dimassi’s Mediterranean Buffet in Anaheim, and I was beyond impressed! As a long-time fan of their delicious offerings, I was excited to check out this new location, and it did not disappoint.

First, the variety of HALAL dishes is absolutely fantastic. From flavorful kebabs, fresh salads, and an array of dips like hummus was as delicious as always. Every bite was bursting with authentic Mediterranean flavors, and the buffet setup allowed me to try a bit of everything. The quality of food is consistent and top-notch, with plenty of vegetarian and meat options to suit any palate.

What really sets this location apart is the stunning new building. The interior design is beautiful, with a perfect blend of modern comfort and authentic Mediterranean decor. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and really enhances the dining experience. Whether you’re sitting down for a quick lunch or enjoying a leisurely dinner, the ambiance makes it feel extra special.

All in all, Dimassi’s new Anaheim location is a must-visit for anyone who loves Mediterranean cuisine. Great food, a welcoming vibe, and a beautiful setting—what more could you ask for? I’ll definitely be back soon!

We had Cerritos on our bucket list but when we saw review for the Anaheim one that Haddent opened yet we got curious. So happens we were at Disney today and I called to see if they were open, turns out today was the first day!

Food was great phenomenal exquisite. The staff were awesome tho you could see the managers super nervous and just pacing a bit. First day nerves so it's to be expected.

Checked a little behind the scenes. They have timers keeping track of the food, everyone was constantly cleaning switching gloves wiping down and enusing the place was immaculate.

Hummus was great! The generously sized lamb shank was awesome.

Somethings need working on
The tzaziki was runny very runny every desert tasted like you drank a liter of rose water in every bite and oddly so did the coffee. Also put a trash bin the male restroom for when you dry your hands please.

Will come back again. Honestly one of the better buffet in general
