Delicious Egyptian food and large portions. I tried Koshary for the second time, and it was amazing. Looking forward to coming back to try other dishes! Parking is limited, though.

I recently visited your restaurant with friends and unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. We placed our order and waited for over an hour without receiving any food. Despite speaking to three different workers about the delay, it took 1.5 hours before the food was served.

When I approached a worker to ask about the delay, I was told there was an issue with the system, and our order had been mistakenly prepared for takeout instead of dine-in. Even after the long wait, the food was served on plastic plates and was not hot. It was quite embarrassing, especially since other customers who ordered after us were served on proper plates and received their meals before we did.

This is was one of the worst service experiences I’ve had here in a cafe in Anaheim. We order the food online and it took almost 2 hrs to prepare. We had to call 3 different waiters who gave us different explanations for why the food was delayed. To make matters worse, when the food arrived, they served it to us in plastic containers. This was very unprofessional and further angered us. It’s for these reason that I can’t recommend this place and I would settle for a different cafe.

Our family didn't care about the hookah. We were concerned about the smell. However, there were some tables in the restaurant separate from the hookah tables. The place was almost full & busy even with almost TEN employees. Our excellent server was Priscilla (she speaks four languages). The food was great (refer to six pictures). I forgot to take more pictures as we dived in the food quickly. The quantity & quality combined with the price was consistent with other competitors.
Comparing the Egyptian dishes we ordered & El Mahroosa facility to Cairo restaurant we have clear vision & future goal which food establishment we plan to continue to revisit. The differences are obvious.
Last but not least, we met one of the best bakers who provided the baked items.
We highly recommend this restaurant.

I have not seen anything worse than their service, especially the waiterSandy Her treatment was very bad. She left me for more than half an hour, wandering around the store and not asking me what I wanted until someone else came and served me. The store only had three tables.

I had a worse experience at this place, i never had before in any restaurant. Staff was so rude and extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I asked for charcoal the garson came and through 8 charcoal and was yelling on me. I will never go there.

The best service quality of all hookah bars in all of OC! The team here is truly outstanding. A friend was visiting from Dubai and is a big hookah buff, no where knew how to adjust the hookah and use his tobacco like they do here. The food is great too and the overall atmosphere. Truly 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I was here with my family and we had not a good experience about service and food.
We had to wait for an hour to get the order delivered.
Food was cold and not delicious.
It’s pricy for such restaurant where they don’t serve water as well.
For such food I would prefer to go Dessert Moon Grill where at least service and food are good.

The worse service ever i had, we spent around $120 to get a bad service like that , there’s no way to go back to this restaurant anymore, the waiter was a tall, skinny , long hair a guy was so rude and he doesn’t know what customers service mean ,he doesn’t check on us and we have to call him every time when we need to get something,my opinion if he doesn’t like his job he can go and get another job instead being rude with poor customer service, unfortunate experience

We entered the establishment with a clearly marked service animal, only to be refused seating by the server who pointed to a "No Pets Allowed" sign. Despite our efforts to explain the crucial difference between pets and service animals, the staff seemed woefully uninformed, so we walked out.

The real issue was the staggering ignorance and blatant disrespect from both the server and the owner. They couldn't recognize a service animal, leaving me utterly flabbergasted. I strongly suggest that the owner and their employees educate themselves on service animals and their duties to their handlers to avoid potential legal consequences.

The level of incompetence here is absurd. This place doesn't deserve anyone's business. Spare yourself the frustration and stay far away from this establishment!

The lamb biryani is pretty good but kanafeh is the worst I have ever had.

The service is cruddy but the hookah is actually made very well along with the food.

The lemon mint drink is really good. The overall vibe is always pleasant. After coming a few times I decided to change from two stars to three stars (acutally now that I am a local) this place deserves more credit - so, i give it 4 stars) that Umlehkia changed the playing field for me. SO GOOD!

We had to wait for very long time to get our tea to the table. The waiter didnt come to the table and i had to go to order from counter. Even with that, we had to wait over 30 mins to have tea. They completely forgot about one of the orders and they brought to the table after 50 mins

The molokhya was AMAZING!
The rest of the food was good. Their meat and chicken need a bit more flavor, but not too bad.
Nice Egyptian ambiance, and they make other Arabic food as well. All in all, a very nice place.

It was my first and last time going to that place they have the worst mix grill ever had (reheated meat not fresh) , un tasty salads with no dressing .

The lack of professionalism displayed by Mohammad, the manager, ensured that I will not return to Mahroosa. As a regular customer who frequently visits them on weekly basis with friends, I typically enjoy both the ambiance and cuisine. However, during my recent visit, when I called ahead to inquire about dining options due to Ramadan, Mohammad informed me we would have to wait until 7 PM to be served. Despite asking about the menu, he directed me to the Instagram page without providing any specifics. Upon arrival, we entertained ourselves with tea and backgammon, only to discover that the main dish we had anticipated would not be available due to insufficient customer demand, though it was on the menu posted on instagram (though we asked as we entered to make sure they will serve it). Despite communicating our dissatisfaction to Suzie, a server, and waiting for 25 minutes with no resolution, we offered to order the dish from the menu and pay full price. Even with that request, Mohammad finally approached us offering that he will do so if we wait an additional hour. Unwilling to prolong our wait any further, we requested the bill. As we exited, it was evident that Suzie handled the situation more adeptly than the manager himself. Mohammad's lack of basic customer service skills and inability to address customer concerns has regrettably led to the loss of our service.

When we come to Anaheim we always stop here to eat and do hookah. Today was the worst experience ever and we will never be back. When we went inside they were doing a photo shoot with the owner/manager he didn’t even acknowledge us. We went and sat down our waitress came to the table didn’t say anything just stood there, we asked if she could give us a few minutes then she came back stood there then we gave her our order. We asked for water to drink she never brought it. Then she brought the food and we had to ask for the water again. The whole time we ate our meal she never came to check to make sure everything was good. Then she came and picked up the plates again didn’t say anything like how was everything and just gave us the bill we asked where we pay the bill and she said right here. We paid the bill and she didn’t even say thank you. When we were leaving they were still doing the photo shoot we walked right by the owner/manager and he didn’t even say thank you or bye. Basically our visit today we were not acknowledge at all. Never will come back.

Make sure to look at your receipt! I have no problem tipping when I eat, but when the employee himself adds a tip that’s where I draw the line. I didn’t even have the option to tip because the employee didn’t show me the screen, once I looked at the receipt she tipped her self $15! That’s called stealing not tipping. Not coming back again.

Mansaf is out of this world. They prepare it fresh every Friday. What sets them apart is that they make it with shoulder of lamb, unlike most places that only offer lamb shank. They even stay open until 3 AM on weekends. The staff is incredibly friendly, and I adore it when they use the term "Habibi."

Authentic Egyptian food. Best Egyotian place I have visited outside of Cairo. They hookah area can be smokey, but they have a front room that is not. The kosher, falafel, and fool are some of my favorites. Reminds me of my grandmothers cooking. The shwarma and salads are flavorful and fresh. This place is totally worth a visit!
