One of my favorite places to eat. My dad and I come regularly and it is delicious every time. We always get the chicken kabobs with hummus and the tomato and cucumber salad. Consistently hot and hot food with great customer service. The juice is great too. We will always come here!

Overall, had a pretty decent meal at Mangal. The falafel was excellent and the sides that came with it were good but not great. Enjoyed it being in the Anaheim Packing House. The service was friendly but a bit pushy.

I had a terrible experience at Mangal. The steak kebab tasted strange and definitely not fresh. The shawarma was cut into tiny pieces, making it difficult to enjoy. The salad was excessively oily and also lacked freshness. On top of that, my order took an unexpectedly long 15 minutes to arrive. Disappointingly, none of the food was cooked on the mangal as advertised. Overall, a complete letdown.

The owner here makes you feel so welcome and the food is so superb; I ended up ordering extra dessert and an extra entrée just to take home with me. If you're looking for well-made, authentic Mediterranean Cuisine... this is the place.

Ordered #4 (lamb and beef Gyro) which was plenty of food for 1 so could be shared. The meats were tender, the rice and hummus were tasty. The pita was a bit thin and dry. I like thicker pita breads.
However, when comparing this restaurant to other places in the Anaheim Packing House, I think the price for what you get is better though I think meals at the Anaheim Packing House are a little more inflated.

Our family just ate at Mangal on a busy Friday night. Had the chickro with the spicy hummus, which I ended up sharing with my whole family. The service was so friendly and fast. Really felt the warmth from these gentlemen and their passion for the food. Strongly recommend if you're craving fresh, flavorful middle eastern comfort food.

Got the #1 (Chicken kabob) and it was indeed #1. The hummus is spot on and the chicken was cooked to perfection. They have very friendly folks working the kitchen. Highly recommended for a nice little meal for two.

staff is great, mint lemonade reminded me of home and was delicious! staff was so sweet, cook even came out to ask if everything was good. strawberry lemonade was best ive ever had. garlic chicken was tasty and juicy! hummus is delicious. only thing is i wished the tzatziki had cucumber in it for the added texture, something i saw in the website. instead it was a small yogurt base in a dipping cup. still delicious but i dont think id get it again.

Mangal is my #1 Mediterranean food spot. I go to the packing house a couple times a month and I always head straight to Mangal. The food is fantastic, so flavorful and fresh & the employees are all so kind and welcoming. I definitely recommend 10/10!

The food here is INCREDIBLE, some of the best tabouli I've ever had. I got the chicken shawarma plate, portion sizes are perfect. They warmed the pita up for us and gave us taste or the pistachio baklava as well as the Nutella baklava. Great service and WONDERFUL food. Definitely recommend.

Very homelike and humble approach. Very welcoming with manners and no hesitation. I walked by and they blessed me with a beautiful strawberry smoothie sample. I was hooked in seconds and had to buy the best sandwich recommended. Chicken Shwarma.

Friendly staff, energetic vibe in the Anaheim Packing bldg, but best of all, amazing food! We ordered beef kabob, chicken shwarma, and gyro, with baba ganoush, spicy hummus, and tabbouleh...all of it great!

Anaheim Packing House Districts was one of the first foodie courts that popped up in Orange County. When it first had it's grand opening, it was a gathering for many people like myself, but as the hype died down, the place started to attract returning customers. A lot of business left and new new ones eventually came in. It got revamped a couple of years back and now it's become a thriving destination for many tourists and locals.

I brought my wife to show her Anaheim Packing District for the first time a while back. We went inside to look around on what will be our appetizer will be for the day. We walked by this spot and I knew I wanted to eat here because I was craving for a Beef Shawarma. I saw the ratings on Yelp but I didn't want that to sway me from ordering here since the ratings weren't great, but sadly enough, I should have listened to them.

The shop didn't have anyone in line so we got to order right away. That should have been a red flag since it was a Sunday at 12pm and the entire place was packed except this shop. I really wanted to give them a chance to prove me wrong but I was pretty disappointed.

I placed my order and it took about 7 minutes to get my order. When I had picked up my wrap and took a bit into it, it was a bit underwhelming. The beef wrap was bland and lack seasoning. The pickled veggies were a little too much since there wasn't a savory component to compensate for the tangy taste. It didn't have the garlic sauce and hummus ingredients that I was looking for. The side of fries was probably the only tasty thing that I had.

You won this round my fellow Yelpers...I probably got the food on a bad day but it left a bad taste in my mouth. But luckily there's other options to choose from!

Taste is fine but nothing great. Also price on board says 13 but they charged 14 when I asked why the guy said taxes even thought there is whole separate line for taxes.

The best Shawarma in all the OC without question!!!

Fries have an extra kick with their seasoning, but one that will please everyone. Chicken is tender and beyond full of flavor and seasoning that makes you go back for more.

Relaxing atmosphere that is complimented by an extremely friendly and engaging staff; owner is so nice and happy. Food came out quick, which didn’t sacrifice the taste and quality at all.

Great staff ! Appeared like food was grilled to order. The food was bland though and portions were abysmal. The rice was just plain, with grilled chicken spices not really any favorful. The koftas were somewhat better but overall the place misses the mark.

The lines are too long, and is understaffed. The Gyro I ordered was small, and unfilling. There was not enough meat. and the gyro wrap tasted like a burriot.

I know my falafels these are by far the most unflavored falafels ever. Blan Tahini tasted Store bought and it lacked freshness and flavor. Worst Mediterranean food spot I've ever been . I had to throw away the other half that's how nasty they were

Massively overpriced for the quantity of ingredients. The wrap was very scant with meat. For $12 I would expect a lot more. It was relatively tasty, but again not great value for money.

The place looks good at first glance. They have a nice section of middle eastern menu. We were the only customer at the time of transaction. The design and decoration of the place is kind of nice. That’s all about being nice. They are lacking most of the menu items including humus, kibbeh, any type of salad, beef borek, regular babaganus, probably the other stuff we did not asked for. They don’t have plastic cups for the soda. The tables and floors are super dirty. We asked someone to clean it. The cashier came along sweeps the table surface down to the floor. You can see how the floor was like from the pics. That’s not how you clean dude. During the COVID times and in general that’s a red flag for the general hygiene. I don’t know what is going on at the kitchen probably would not like to know. They may be under stuffed or have some supply shortage but they could have update the menu accordingly, have some plastic cups and would have clean the floor with a sweeper.
To the owner: do not understuff and make sure to have good supply of the menu items
To the stuff: tell your boss if you think your pay is not fair , if it is fair make sure you work hard to earn it that includes hygiene measures
To the customers: you are probably better of eating else where

Price reasonable, chicken shish kabob meal is what we ordered. Chicken was cooked perfect, and the appearance of the food looked very good. Now to the not so good part, the chicken itself lacked any flavor, typically you would marinate this chicken, i can tell you they did not do that. Chicken did not have any developed flavor, for this reason we will never come back.

What a joke.. please close this place down. Two kids behind the counter one is playing with his phone and the other one asks for tip. You should pay tip for making me eat that terrible food. Small portion, expensive food and non edible. I kid you not I threw my food in trash. One day has passed and I still feel sick. No salt on the chicken, salad was warm and stale. The only decent thing was their hummus and I promise you even the hummus is not that good. If my goal wasn't to try every food in packing district I wouldn't have touch their food . There's a reason the store is empty, trust your gut and run away..

The worst Mediterranean food I’ve had. I ordered a shawarma plate, the meat didn’t taste like meat, and they put too much olive oil on hummus. Overall small portion, not tasty at all.

Came here tonight with a large groups of twenty people and tried everything on the menu. The consensus from everyone was that the food is terrible. The salad was limp, brown and had no dressing. Both the beef and chicken kabob were dry and bland. The shawarma was just charred and very tough. Even the sauces, both spicy hummus and garlic sauce, were so bland and tasteless. Very sad that we ruined our first gathering post-pandemic at such a bad restaurant.

Fist time here and the pictures on there menu looks so good but when I got the my order was so dry and there food portion was so small for the amount they are charging!

Terrible taste. Extremely overpriced. The quantity was so less! An average adult would need to buy at least two meals to satisfy oneself. It took them soooo long to make the meals! Very bad experience, I'm very disappointed.

Terrible! I came from far away with my friend to try shawarma, in my country it is fresh delicious dish. When we came, the mangal ( where the meat used to be cooking) was not there, they said its outside.. but they suppose do it in front of you.. We ordered what's on the picture was: all beef shawrma and fries sticking around- it was on the picture. What we got: just spicy fries, for $11 to find meat in there, you have to dig in the fries. I told them - this is not what the pic show, they said- that what we have.. did not change our dish... 3 young guys..so disappointing.

This was some delicious Mediterranean food! The chicken kabob was flavorful and fresh. The spicy hummus was some of the best and creamiest I've had. I wish this was in my hometown!

This place is inside the packing district. I got the kofta plate. Kofta was on the dry side. Pita bread was cheaper quality of something you can buy at the grocery stores. The rice is different and not the typical middle eastern flavor. The spicy hummus was creamy and yummy! Overall it was decent for quick bite to eat.

This place has the best hummus ever. The spicy hummus has a kick to it. I tried the Kafta with rice and salad. It came w hummus and pita and you have a choice of garlic, tahini, or taziki sauce. Approx $12.

I tried the chicken shawarma here. The food tasted fresh, but not very much flavor. I liked it, but it wasn't anything special. The staff here was friendly and helpful. The price is average. I just expected a little more from the other reviews. Maybe I'll come back to try something else next time.

I haven't eaten there in person. I always order from Uber Eats. The food always arrives nice, neat and presentable. The food is delicious, I've had it about 5 times now. I get the chicken shawerma plate (comes with rice) with Armenian salad and Fattoush and garlic sauce.
Always delicious, always comes on time. It's our Uber Eats go to now. I've had a lot of issues with other restaurants screwing up my Uber Eats order but Mangal has had the best consistency.

Wow what incredibly fresh and flavorful Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food! So many delicious vegetarian friendly and meat options as well. I had the shish tawook with garlic sauce, fattoush, and hummus! Everything was amazing. Will definitely come back.
