After spending the entire evening at Adventure City with my kids, we wanted to just leave and find a good restaurant to sit, relax and eat well. We came across this Restaurant online and it looked appetizing. So we decided we would stop there, relax and eat. After we finished ordering our food, the waitress kept coming back a few times and verifying our order... And asking if I only order 1 kids meal, I said "yes". My son has ordered the mojarra frita(I'm assuming she expected another kdis meal in the order. After I explained to her that she had the order correctly and we exchanged smiles, just being cordial.. she made us feel feel a little awkward and uncomfortable after she would come back to check on us, and would just stand there smiling... Haha we even looked at one another like: "okayyy".. maybe she found my boyfriend attractive and kept coming back and doing the same thing. For my 12yr old son to SAY SOMETHING, I know it wasn't just me. Then when we received the food, most of the dishes did not have seasoning. Not enough salt. We had to add salt on everything. And to top it off the cook kept looking out way, directly at ME and for some reason laughing!. My boyfriend fed me some of his food to try and as I looked up,I seen the cook laughing and turned around quick so I wouldn't see him laughing. To the point where he had to walk away for a few minutes(wasn't as busy when we went). He came back with a straight face. But I felt his stare just starting at our table. And there was nothing else behind us, except the wall. My boyfriendl even asked me what was wrong and why I kept looking that way... He knew something was wrong. I finally told him, and it upset him.. because he did see the cook look out way a few times but he didn't think anything of it. So I finally said something, and as soon as I mentioned it... HE PUT HIS FaCE DOWN, pretending he was so busy and tried so hard not to look up!!! He knew he was caught and was being called out. So disrespectful, so rude.. I went from starving, to losing my appetite ASAP!!!!!!! Worse experience at a Mexican restaurant. Then one of the other employees TRIED saying: "it was a misunderstanding, he was talking to us about a place OVER THERE"...I said "noo he was not Because he was not talking

Food was good. Everyone had various dishes and some liked theirs where others said it lacked flavor. Mendudo was good! We ordered the Chile chilas, machaca, carne asada fries, and chile verde. Chunks were a little oversized for my taste but my father in law raved over the pata you can order. The Michelle's were AMAZING. So tasty and fun presentation. Definitely would go there for those again. Staff was wonderful and very friendly.

My husband had the menudo.. I have chilaquiles verdes with potatoes and beans. Also added a side of Chile verde... food was delicious and we left stuffed! Been here before and will continue to come for more.

Server was great, but food not so much. Sooo disappointed, salsas provided with the chips were flavorless. We liked the wings but that was pretty much it. I ordered the fried tilapia fish, it was really crunchy didn’t like it, the corn tortillas were not good they were to hard like leather. We also had the cheese enchiladas and chile relleno plate, the cheese was weird maybe not real cheese. The enchilada sauce was flavorless not good at all. It’s a nice place but no customers. Very disappointed, we were super hungry! Not coming back!

Here on vacation and took a leap of faith, was not disappointed! The fluatas were amazing! I would come here again while visiting. Chips and salsa served at the table were really tasty too.

Ahora fui a comer por primera vez y ya nunca regreso los frijoles nada de sabor la comida muy sin sabor me traje la comida para llevar por que un plato de 18.27 esta muy carisimo en el menú tienen un precio diferente y cuando pague era otro es ridículo cobrar por dos bebidas 9.47 de dolar no tienen refil ni nada el mesero nunca llegó a preguntar si necesitamos más bebida por dos platos pague $46.47 uno fue de huevo con chorizo y unas tortillas frias y duras de arina es horrible los precios la verdad no quería pagar pero me sentí mal por que es una locura no recomiendo este lugar cobran más de lo que esta en el menú y en Google nefasto el lugar la verdad decepcionada 😞

UP DATE: OCTOBER 30 2024 STILL LOVE THIS PLACE. HAVE COME BACK HERE MORE THEN A FEW TIMES. ONLY DOWN SIDE IS THE PORTIOPNS ARE SO MUCH SMALLER. STILL MY FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT. Great comfort food!!!! Had the enchilada, tamales, and chili relleno plate with rice and beans. It was delicious! Definitely go there again. They just need better prices on happy hour drinks. Happy hour means cheaper, but not here!!!

Love this place. Slept on it way too long after moving to the neighborhood and regret not coming sooner. The food is great, specials are great, and service is great. This is now our #1 spot when we want margaritas and want food our kids like.

To every Texan visiting CA, this is the closest to our Tex/Mex deliciousness that you will find around! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the service was EXCELLENT! We ended up dining in 3 times during our 5 day stay vacation in the area. Highly recommend!

I love to bring my Mom here. The servers are very kind and do it all for you. Found out that the food, like everything else these days has gone up way up in price. I bought her favorite drink, Cadillac Margarita, and they made it just like she prefers it. I will continue to frequent this cozy restaurant for as long as possible.

I went there for the $13.95 lunch buffet. The food must have been sitting out for a while because the rice was dried out and we had to ask for more tacos because the one that was left was dried out. The one thing that was freshly made was the enchiladas. When went to get some enchiladas, the tray was empty, so we had to ask for more. I definitely won't go back.

I have had some delicious caldo de pollo here, but recently trie their chilaquiles and it was not good. The chilaquiles tasted sweet, probably used canned suace. Over all the dish was sloppy and the quality was disappointing.

I ordered the alpastor plate and an agua de Tamarindo. They were Delicious. The food was fresh and hot. The plate included refried beans with cheese on top, red rice, a little guacamole and plenty of alpastor meat. Check out the pics. I will recommend this place to everyone that asks for a good Mexican restaurant.

I often go here on Sundays for brunch. The staff is very friendly. This week I had a shrimp omelette which was excellent. I also enjoyed the refried beans. Additionally, they always have chips and two different types of salsa present before your meal. For those who are interested in sport there are several televisions with the games on. This week it was soccer on the television by me. The other nice thing is they have a fully stocked bar if that's your thing. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food or just want to watch the game, please give it a try.
