Blaze Pizza

I really enjoyed the pizza. Of a good Wood-Fired pizza. Best cooking process out there. The restaurant was clean. They were adequately staffed to handle orders quickly. This ingredients for the pizzas were fresh. I would have recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick grab.

Do yourself a favor: skip this location at all costs!

Update: "Elizabeth T" contacted me throughout this issue via email and its been nearly a month without a promised reinbursement. I've had to contact Blaze Pizza through their website multiple times and no refund - I've also attached a picture of the receipt along with pictures of the quality so this place is a joke. I've added pictures for proof. I still have the original receipt til this day. This is the pizza that I got - super soggy. Not sure if Blaze doesn’t carry Canadian bacon anymore, (flat round pieces) but didn’t have any. My pizza was $22.91, felt like a hole in the wall. Never again😳 Staff was friendly but seemed rushed. There's a better Pizza place near Disneyland that tastes so much better since the 90s

Pizza was ok, but not great like other locations, but we are not definitely coming back to this location. Close to Disney, not a lot of parking and employees definitely need supervision. These2 ladies were just chatting with each other all the time and the cashier checking her phone. They almost got our order wrong, just because I was paying attention and corrected them. Also, seeing how dirty and yucky 🤮 the ice and soda machine is, we can't imagine how dirty everything else could be 🤮🙄

Not the best option for a quick pizza pie.. Their costs are high for the size and the ingredients aren't as fresh and plentiful as before. I prefer a pizza joint a short walk down the way, close to the entrance of
Disney itself. This location seems to rush your order and not be as friendly as other Blaze locations I have been to. The pizza seemed a little small, but was still a good tasting pizza. Place was clean.

Went here for Pie Day. No employee notified us that they are not participating for pie day. They said they had posted signs on the entrance about the issue, but clearly there was not. I ended up paying $41 for something that was no more than $15. There was no apology. There was no "let's make this right", and not even a sign on the entrance like they claimed. They didn't even give me a receipt. If they were not participating, they should have at least said something when we put in our order on the counter. Also, there were litter on the floor. The employee at the register was on his phone and took a while for us to pay. I would've just walked out but my wife just got off work and was hungry. I felt bad and didn't want to make her wait to go to another store so I just coughed up more money than I really had to. This was a very horrible experience. Check out the images I attached and let me know if anyone sees a sign regarding the matter on the photo. I do not recommend going here. I use to go here a lot since I lived close by. However, service has gone worse in the last year.

After arriving to the area pretty late we were delighted to catch Blaze open so late on a weeknight. Service was friendly and quick at getting our pizza built and tossed into the oven. Our cheesy bread tipped off paddle onto the counter and the employee was immediately apologetic and offered to re-make it though it was totally unnecessary. The pizza was well fired and the ingredients tasted fresh.

Always loved being at Blaze Pizza. But today, it was worst. Never expected such service from them. One of the female employee working in closing shift, firstly showed attitude, We avoided it and then literally destroyed the pizza through her culinary skills.

Came here for a second time because I found the offer advertised in store to sign up for the app and save $5 off $15. I followed instructions and the promo never popped up on the cashiers end-the manager came out and said it had to be $15 worth of pizza only—not a pizza and a drink. She didn’t offer any help except telling me that other coupons were acting weird too— so I ended up paying the full price. No offer to make it right or even help to get it working. Wrote to corporate twice now with no response. Awful experience- would not recommend to anyone— especially with the company’s bait and switch coupon policy.

Typically we love blaze bit this location is not like the others. Eating areas were dirty, salads looked sad and employees seemed annoyed to have to serve. Bruce wise it was 16.99 for a make your own pizza which was more expensive than the pizza place at downtown disney. On the upside pizza tasted great and .y just was happy.

I like blaze pizza, and the food here was as good as any other location. The prices were almost 50% more than regular places. Just because it’s next to Disney doesn’t mean you should be trying to extort customers. Do not recommend.

The food was tasty but not nearly as good as other “bake your own pizza” places. Walking in a group of men who were customers were loud and yelled something at us. Many other customers were staring at them for being loud and rude yet the staff did nothing to calm them down. When I had a question (my first time here) the cashier STARED at me without saying anything. She ignored and pointed and was just overall an awful experience. DO NOT get me started on how dirty the lance was. NASTY

The girls that work here are not it! Wouldn’t even scan the app. Said this location didn’t take it even though they were promoting it lol. And my parents almost got poisoned because they have celiac and the employees were careless and weren't taken the precautions to avoid that. Wouldn’t come back.

AMAZING LIL JOINT! I was here for a competition at a big hotel close by and the food was amazing. The pizza was large and extremely fresh they put all the toppings in front of you. My favorite part of Blaze was NO LIMIT ON TOPPINGS🎉🎉. I got a lot of toppings and it was amazing the crust was crispy and the price and portions were good. The service was also really nice and patient since you were choosing all the toppings yourself. You can get a drizzle of any sauce you want after. I also got the cheesy garlic bread and it was average so I would only recommend the pizza because they are amazing!

The pizza was really good, we ordered a large and the 2 item (pesto bread and pepperoni pizza). The staff is nice but you can tell they are overwhelmed and that carries over to the interactions. Management should see what additional support can be added to help the staff not be over worked.

After a long haul flight, and drive to nearby Hotel, my two kids (7 and 11 yrs) had takeaway pizza. In their words, "perfect ratio of cheese and sauce, perfectly cooked base.....10/10 rating".

Been to other Blaze Pizzas that were bigger, and busier. This was a nice small, easy going shop. Was really nice being open later as was in area for Disneyland. Pizza was good, a hair burnt but that can be the fire in the brick oven and normal. Not enough fuse over though. Good place overall.

*Updated: we contacted customer service twice immediately via website one week ago and still haven't heard back. Poor suggestion by management as it didn't help anything.*

We ordered for delivered very JUST down the street from the restaurant. The food is nothing like the pictures.
Barely any cheese or topping. One star for meatballs being their best deal even at $9 for 3.
For service, they completely missed the side salad for our meal and we couldn't even reach them to remedy the situation.
Be careful, when you order through THEIR WEBSITE, they upcharge you ($2.50 extra for our "take two* items) and still charge a service upcharge in addition to delivery fee. I get for delivery, but what service extra? Forgetting our salad?
Super disappointing and would have been better off spending our dinner at Disney or calamaca mexican restaurant.

57 minute wait from standing in line to receiving pizza. Overmatched is the word that comes to mind. ONLY go here if nobody's in line or it the last place with electricity within three blocks.

Dude was in such a careless mood he barely put any sauce on my pizza and threw the toppings on sloppy. This location is next to Disneyland so you think they'd do better.

Food, Service, and Atmosphere is good for being close to Disneyland. The reason for my 1 star is that this location does not do any redeeming of any coupons, deals, or rewards. You can only earn on your purchase. I have suggested for my colleagues to skip this Blaze location for that reason.

I've had good blaze pizza but this wasn't it. Me and my wife did a build your own and the amount of toppings they put was saddening. Not even like 4 or 5 pepperoni.
That wasn't the worse part.
We got food poisoning as a result of either the toppings or the dough. It completely ruined our disney trip and we had to reschedule it for another week.

Positive: it's open later than most places in the area, and the food's not bad.
Negative: staff was rude and ignored us for nearly 8 minutes while they worked online orders. They finally got us going through the build your own pizza and they missed part of my order, but since I kept rotating through women who kept running back for online order tickets, I ignored it and moved on. I still tipped because they're young workers, but it must not have been enough, as when they took out my pizza from the oven, they continued to take others out and help the customers who came in behind us, getting them on their way first.
So, to sum up, we walked in to an empty line, took 15 min for us to get through and pay while they serviced online orders, then another 10 min while 6 new people came in, made and received their orders and left. If any other local restaurants were open, I'd have rater gone there.

I saw one person get the wrong pizza, then some others still waiting to pay and getting cold pizza. What got me was there was a young man with glass that was telling people to ask the other team mate for customer service just when they need help.

The employee said " Ask him -> and the man with braces said yes.." oh straws here, or red pepper / Parmesan here you go sorry." I told him "So every time someone ask for help from the team leader he tells us to talk to you" like he can't handle a simple question??? And comply. Very rude

Wow! Where to start. Well, Blaze did pass the one bite test but missed on the taste test. The ingredients were classic red sauce, pepperoni, bacon and mushrooms. Pretty basic for a thin crust pie. The crust drooped under the weight of three simple ingredients. Now the ingredients. No real pop to the pepperoni. Maybe the bacon came from a pig, or maybe veggies. Not sure. The mushrooms were just filler. If you go for the crust, pizza bones? Nope. One notch below truck stop pizza.

旅行の夕飯で来店。
円安の影響でディズニーの食べ物が高すぎて辟易して、どこかないかと検索しヒット。
自分の好きなソースや具材を選択して焼いてくれるピザ。
私は英語は中学生レベルで、注文時にコミュニケーションで困っているとお店のスタッフが率先してスマホで翻訳して対応してくれた。
かなりサービス精神が高く感動。
あとピザも凄く旨い。
ディズニーやエンジェルスでアナハイム訪れた日本人の方には特にオススメ。
安心して美味しい安いピザが食べれます。

We were not impressed. They only sell one size. You can order a half pizza, but it costs $12 . The full size is $15. We ordered a BBQ chicken pizza. There was no chicken pieces on the pizza, just pieces of vegetables.

Update: i wasn't pleased with this service. They weren't happy with my changes to the pizza. The forks and spoons weren't available. The drink had water in the vitamin water not happy.
They had friendly service. Their lunch deal is pretty good because ended up spending half than usually do. I love their blood orange fresca drink. Moreover, customer service was great they took my food to me.

It's just okay pizza. Mod pizza is a much better value and so are other options around this place so close to Disneyland. Staff weren't rude but they weren't friendly if you catch my meaning. Vibe inside is the generic industrial construction you see in these strip mall restaurants now days. If I was doing it again, I'd go somewhere else where I could feed my family better for less money.

My party and I ordered 2 pizzas and the cheezy bread with pesto on the side for to-go and took it to our hotel next door to enjoy. The pizza was amazing as well as the cheesy bread with pesto. My 4 yr old absolutely loved the bread and pesto and was his first time trying pesto..
Only thing I would change is more pepperoni as there were only like 2-3 pepperoni on each slice and more than 1 tiny container of the pesto for the whole bread.
Pricing was about $15 for an individual pizza (1 topping w/ regular dough) which wasn't TOO bad since it was very filling and couldn't eat it all at once.
Waiting time for the pizza to cook was about 10ish minutes during a busy Saturday evening.

Freshly made pizza that you have control of. You choose your base and then choose the ingredients as it's made in front of you, choosing between a set creation or create your own. You go along the counter adding on what you want from the cheese to the meats and extras. The pizza is then cooked in the fire oven whilst you wait the couple of minutes and it's ready. Fresh. There is seating available inside but can fill up fast at busy times. Good prices for the freshness and effort that is put in. Walking distance to Disney and nearby hotels. Highly recommended for a fast affordable and filling meal.

Online order didn't work. Phoning in to order and you're met with a loop that also doesn't work. Going to there help page puts you in another loop. Phone to speak with the store goes unanswered forever. Press 2 and met with no response...

Very unfriendly and rude staff. Opened the front door and the staff gave my family double middle fingers unprovoked. Not a word was exchanged and left in silence - not a good experience at all for the kids visiting Disneyland?!

Wow. I have never experienced such slow and careless service. I waited for an hour after ordering my salad for it to come out. My friends and I orders were ignored and workers took and served other people who arrived after us. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I won’t be returning to any blaze pizza chain if that’s how they treat a large group of customers. Absolutely disrespectful.

Pizzas were good and made the way we wanted. The only issue we had was that the website wouldn't accept our Canadian credit card so we had to order in store. Not the worst thing and we only waited 10 minutes so it wasn't the end of the world.

We ordered and the girl taking our order was great. She explained everything and helped us order. We paid and waited for our food. Well things went south after that. We asked for the sauce that was supposed to come with the cheesy bread and the girl said they were out. I went to the girl who took our order and she said okay hold on I’ll grab some. Some other girl comes out and says we don’t have any. Tell them no sauce. I asked why they couldn’t give us the sauce I see they have it. Then the manager turned around and said we ran out. I advised that the other girl said she would get us some. She said they were busy and couldn’t stop what they were doing. She was very argumentative and kept saying they were out. I said there was some right there. She then said well we don’t have any. I advised we paid for it. She said it’s free. I told her no because we paid for the bread and said well some people don’t want sauce. I said well we aren’t some people and my daughter wanted the sauce as pictured when ordered. She kept arguing with me. Then I finally said instead of arguing with me she could have already given me the sauce and been done and back at what she was doing. She then gave me the sauce that they said they didn’t have but did!

When we were waiting for our pizza I did notice the Pizza was Burnt and I asked the girl if it was burnt and she lifted it but it was the sides that were and she cut those off but the said manager turned around and rudely said do you have a problem? I said no just wanted to see if it was burnt since it did looked that way. But again this was before I knew she was the manager. She was very unprofessional and rude! Definitely needs some hospitality training. She didn’t seem happy to be working! This was 1/14 @ 10pm. I do not recommend!

Pizzas were charred black at the bottom and overpowered the taste of the pizza.
Manager was very argumentative with all the customers who were complaining about the pizzas instead of rectifying the problem

I usually go to the location in the City of Orange. Everyone at that location seem to make you feel comfortable. Like they make me want to come back. The whole staff is in a good mood.

Some of the worst service. Ordered in the app and went down to get it at the time they said it would be ready..I can understand waiting a few minutes but was told twice my order was "on the way". Saw several customers who walked in with us or after who ordered at the counter and had their pizzas done and were eating and still sat empty handed..had to wait 15 minutes for our food we had ordered about 15 minutes prior to arriving. Was told multiple times "we are short staffed" but only about 6-8 in the dining room and only 2 ordering and maybe 5-6 workers. They were totally disregarding the PREPAID orders via the app and giving priority to those who came in. I use the app for convenience so I don't have to wait 15-20 minutes in your lobby for food. We stay at that hyatt next door all the time and I'll never come back to this Blaze based on this experience and the flippant attitude of the staff.

Not safe for celiacs. Used to be my favorite. Tonight I watched them press “gluten free” dough on the same press they used for regular dough. And when they pulled the GF pizza out of the oven one of the workers threw the cutter that had just been cutting gluten / regular pizzas on the gluten free pizza. She then lied to to me and said it hadn’t touched the gf pizza. Not safe for anyone who can not eat gluten. That lie could make someone very sick.

Adding: I’ve sent in info to Blaze as requested and the only reply I get back is similar to what Elizabeth says below: they will pass along the info to make it a better experience in the future. This feels cold and corporate and like they are more interested in covering their butt than actually engaging with a customer who has enjoyed their food previously. Really poor form.
